Lucky Strike Sayville

Lucky Strike Sayville

Reviews Summary

The majority of reviews are highly positive (5 stars), praising excellent service, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. Several highlight attentive servers who enhance the experience. Negative reviews (1-3 stars) cite slow service, unresponsive management, technical issues with lanes/arcade, and pricing concerns. While most enjoy the clean, modern facility and good food/drinks, some feel service inconsistencies and value-for-money issues detract from the experience. Positive mentions of organized events and specials balance complaints about pricing transparency. Overall, it's well-regarded for group outings but has room for improvement in consistency.

Great place for kids, music was spot on! Service was great. Food took a lot longer than we expected, but everything tasted great. Great day for my family!

Great atmosphere, very clean and the food was banging. I don't even like bowling that much but I went to hang with my family and bowl with my little nephew and had a great time. 10/10 would go back for the food alone ??

We had my sons Grad Party today at Sayville Bowlero, and it was absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough about how great the party hostess? were. We had Phoebe, Sam & Camryn, and they literally took care of everything for me. The set up they provided for my son was amazing!! I can't thank them all enough for a Fabulous day of fun & celebration for my son??

Kayleigh is the best employee at this alley. She always greets me with her infectious smile. I never see her standing still she is a work machine. All the people on our Wednesday night league love her doing lane service. Her star shines bright and I'm instantly put into a good mood when I see her at the alley.

Tonight was an awful experience. The smell was absolutely nauseating for the entire evening. Every time this door was opened by an employee it made me want to vomit. Food and beverages were purchased and left uneaten due to this smell. In addition there are several special needs individuals playing with sensory issues and it was overwhelming at times.

I've been to the Sayville location with my husband and daughter twice now & had a great time each time. The staff is incredibly sweet. The location is so aesthetic & really cool. They have a great menu with food & drinks; Which isn't too expensive. If you're looking for something to do, I'd say definitely come here bc its really fun! They also have a really cool arcade. 10/10!!

We went to this Sayville Bowlero (now called Lucky Strike) with a group of 8 friends on a Friday night after work for their after 8pm bowling special. We were lucky and didn't have to wait, which was a pleasant surprise for a Friday evening. The girl at the counter was really nice and helpful getting us all setup. I accidentally got the wrong shoe size and had to go back to the counter to exchange them and she had no problem with helping me again. We were assigned to lanes 1 and 2 which was ok until we r

If you buy the summer pass, do NOT invite your NON summer pass friends to bowl with you as they do not allow you to bowl on the same lane. Not only that, but they don't tell you until AFTER it is all set and nothing can be done after. We had to complain and complain for them to get our one friend to allow bowling with us (not like they weren't going to pay). With that said, I contacted corporate to inquire more. Customer service via corporate stated they will contact me back however it's been over a mon

I'm in the LI Kick league on Thursday nights and since it went from Bowlero to Lucky Strike the lanes definitely seem more oiled. I still come sometimes once a week with my girlfriend just for fun. The $20 all you can bowl after 7 is definitely worth it. If you're lucky enough to get Evan as your server he's a cool dude and a good waiter.

Had an amazing time at Bowlero Sayville's **Sunday Funday** special with friends! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and the sound of pins crashing set the tone for a fun evening. The lanes were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was top-notch. The unlimited bowling from **6 PM** for just **\$21.99**, including shoe rental and a **\$5 arcade card**, offered great value. We enjoyed every moment, from striking spares and strikes to competing i

Kayleigh is a fantastic server to have at your service. She always is on top of her lanes doing leagues and whenever I come to just bowl she takes care of me and those around her. She is beyond helpful and deserves the recognition. Jess is also a great manger taking care of her team!

My wife and I brought her little brothers and cousins here and they had a blast. Kids can get a little crazy when they bowl but everyone was nice about us breaking some bowling etiquette with each kid wanting their own ball and ramp now and then. Arianne was great and helped us get situated in our lane with a bunch of kids. Definitely coming back for more family fun!

Fun with friends! A good time. However, we had a recurring problem with our lane. We went at an early time in the day (2pm Weds) and there was no one there yet. The staff assigned us to the last two lanes. Our lane (50) had a recurring problem where pin 9 would not be reset. We kept having to go into the menu and reset the pins. The mechanic had to come twice and we spent about 30 minutes in all waiting for the lane to reset or be fixed. Good deal, good experience overall, but subpar service. Seems like a r

Firstly, I just wanted to say my experience at this location was truly amazing! I usually don't leave reviews unless I felt it was truly a wonderful experience but I brought a bunch of my nephews and nieces to bowl here and it was such a welcoming experience. The manager, Arianne, was so helpful and made our experience such a memorable one. She was so warm, welcoming, and accommodating with the kids and genuinely seemed to want to make sure they had a fun time, which I really appreciated and everyone was ra

The place is FILTHY. Had to ask staff to sweep up our area when we arrived. Bathroom toilets were absolutely disgusting. "Waitress" barely came by...served 3/4 filled cups of flat soda and did nothing to fix it when we complained. Horribly managed.

My son?s school had a field trip here and it was well organized. By the time we got there the names were already waiting on the screen everything was well organized. The kids began to play immediately. They had a blast.

We recently celebrated my son Luke?s 11th birthday at Bowlero, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our incredible party host, Octavius! From the moment we arrived, Octavius was attentive, upbeat, and completely on top of everything. He made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable for the kids. Octavius checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, from extra napkins to helping organize the kids during bowling. He managed the timeline of the party perfectly and always had a smile on

The Establishment itself is nice and well kept. Food isn't half bad either. On the other hand, the bartenders are oblivious, good luck finding your waitress and the front desk girls have zero personality. Thing that bothered me the most, is it I drink grey goose straight up regularly so I definitely know what it taste like..... I was charged $23 for a double shot of goose straight up and I swear to God it was Tito's in the Grey Goose bottle! I know it was because I hate Tito's! I understand we all have to m

Awesome place, depending on the day it can take awhile to get a lane. However the staff is amazing. We love seeing Phoebe, Johanna, and Camryn they make a night great.

Would give 0 stars if possible!!! We were told 15 min wait and 45 min later we are still waiting. The people at the register should be more honest to their customers instead of wasting our time. Of course we decided to leave after the ridiculous service. Will not return after this unpleasant experience.

Great bowling alley, very reasonable prices. Went on a Sunday night to bowl unlimited for $22, including shoes and a $5 arcade card to use. There's also food and drinks available, as well as a billiards table and air hockey. Spent hours there and bowled 7 games.

Horrible experience was told by manger jess an other employee that they only oil lanes for league players. That this is pretty much just a league house which i know isn't true. Been coming here with my son since he was 9 he is now 18 back from college. He wanted to go bowling so went here was put on lane 5 no oil put on lane 10 no oil. Was told by management n other employee they only oil for league players. I was also there to buy 2 summer passes but why buy them if your not going to oil lanes. Plus i cant

There's something called treating all clients the same regardless of who they are which grossly lacks at Bowlero in Sayville. I understand it was closing time which is fine but was it closing time just for us african american group or!?? They shut down our lane and we went to the desk to voice our concerns. This lady whom I think might?ve been the manager since she didn't introduce herself, walked in the conversation and stated: ?I'm sorry but I can't have any clients here after 9 cause we're closing? Ther

So this may be just me being nosy but last night i was in line behind two groups of people and one of them went up to the front of the line completely disregarding the line and when the other party said something everyone kind of got a little heated and the women at the front (little old lady with glasses) was being very nasty to the party that was waiting in line not sure what her problem was especially if she was paying attention she would?ve seen the other party run up and cut the entire line. But the ma

Very nice food was excellent place was immaculate. Great service. All around fun, family and friends.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Let's start with how long it took us to get a lane or even get help when we got there. They had lanes open and it still took us 30 min to get started and had table with left over beers on it. The bumpers weren't set up even after requesting it twice and when they did they were half broken. The balls were shitty, service was slow, and they don't tell you how much it costs so when you check out you're hit with a huge bill. 2 games with my 6 & 8 year old ran me

We are here every Thursday for our league and we always have Camryn as our server. She is awesome.. always makes sure we have drinks and so friendly!! She makes our bowling league more enjoyable.

Great experience here. We were searching Groupon for bowling in the area and saw this place. The Groupon was about $30 for 2 people for 2 hours of bowling with shoes. They also have packages for 4 and 6 people priced accordingly. I am not sure their regular bowling prices, but I did see a few signs for specials during the week. You may want to check the website before going. We got there at 12 PM on Labor Day (Monday) and the place was fairly empty with only a handful of others there...but by the time we we

I bowl in a league. The lanes often break, it has been getting better lately. Specifically phoebe is amazing and makes everyone's night better. Steve has been excellent and I wish he would stay.

Waited over 15 minutes when there were three cashiers in the front just to get denied to bowl because I brought my own bowling shoes. I could only bowl with their rentals when on the website it said that I could bring my own. Very disappointing!

We had a great time, ended my birthday on a high note. Allen and Cameron were sweethearts and we really appreciated their help.

Nice atmosphere much better than the nearby AMF in my opinion. Service is excellent and staff are friendly here. The place is kept clean and sanitary. Excellent spot for all ages to come and enjoy. Would recommend it especially if you check online and come during the special discount rate days and times.

Nice people clean well run Lanes are perfect as expected Alley ball are strange nothing over 14 pounds and drilled both ways and the ball wont stay stright very strange cause the holes make the ball go right or left

Johanna is a grade A woman, I hope she keeps it up. 5 stars for that lady.

Have wanted to try the summer pass deal for years. Finally this year bought them. We ended up going 3 times the first week. That's 3 less times the kids were on their screens and were up moving, socializing and spending time together.

Johanna, is the best waitress at the place. Attentive is her middle name. Frequent bowlers to see her! Always will go back.

Called to see what current prices and availablity is 3 times and never got anyone to answer the phone. If you aren't gonna answer the phone don't list the number. Also, if you post the prices per game on the website, I'm sure you wouldn't get all these bad reviews.

EDIT: Currently here for league night as I'm writing this and got stuck on the same lane. The approach is all messed up and no one is able to slide. I'm done giving them money. No more. I'll go to port jeff from now on. I recently joined a league that plays out of Bowlero, and honestly, I'm done with the place. First, the prices are insanely high, and the quality of the facilities simply doesn't match the price. During league play last week, our 2 games took forever because the lanes they put us on kept b

It is a great place to go with friends or family. I love that has many lines available to play.

This place is awesome! Had a great time. Table side service was a PLUS! The drinks were delicious and the waitress Kim was sweet and polite.

Johanna is an amazing server, very friendly helping informative and provides fast excellent service. She's definitely an asset to the company.

I hosted my daughter?s birthday, the service was so accommodating, everyone did an amazing job. Would absolutely do it again

Excellent lighting, excellet foid, excellemt drinks and the drinks and food are pricey but the bowling aspect is cheap. Its wirth dropping about $100 on drinks and bowling

Great Bowling ?? ...Place is very clean and the staff are so awesome. Great place for children. This is my favorite place to Bowl.

All the ladies are amazing from Demi behind the bar to the entire wait staff Johanna, Camryn and phoebe etal! Definitely a vibe weather you bowl or just come to chill.

As bowling alleys in pool halls disappear I was glad to support this place comfortable and reasonably priced keep our pastimes alive.

Came here with my friends and family and we really had a blast the staff was friendly and service was great was great and who doesn't like bowling def would come back again

Kayleigh is the best ever. She is courteous, friendly, and efficient. A real doll.

Johanna always goes above and beyond. Excellent service always fast and attentive to our needs. The best in the business.

Great service waitress Johanna is on top of service from start to end. On top of her service she helps with line up changes lanes breaking down constantly.

Family fun place. Everyone can enjoy this area.

The one week we go they decide to not do unlimited bowling. They wait until its time for us to pay after we bowled all these games to tell us its 11 bucks a game. You guys ripped us off. Then on top of that the lanes werent oiled. We used to do leagues here and we have been customers for years. After this cash grab and dishonesty you guys have lost a lot of business.

Camryn is great. If you can have her as your lane server you'll have quick and friendly service.

Phoebe is a great asset to company, she is consistently great server and always ready to help During league night

My name is John Gallagher I was at the bowling alley today and I left my keys at line 3 behind the arcade and can you have them check the lost in found and in between the seats for me

Great place to bring your kids or even go out with some friends and have a few tower drinks

Great place to have a night out with friends! Drinks and appetizers can be conveniently served to your bowling lanes. For a large group, you are encouraged to reserve lanes a head of time, especially during the week.

The service was great and they even let me know about this summer specials?..

The day we went was a Sunday, the deals they have Sundays are good and also the Friday's night, there were not too many people and also everyone has to wear their mask all the time inside( except when you are eating or drinking) totally recommend this place. The arcade games were close it didn't bother us at all since we didn't go there for that.

Very, very nicely redone. Modern and clean, lots of areas to hangout and eat/drink. Lanes and seating nicely done. Where this place loses a star is the service. We waited at least 15-20 minutes on the line to check-in (we were so close to leaving). There was only one person working at the counter and they seemed really confused with how to ring people up, maybe they were new. Nonetheless, they were friendly and we were on our way after that long wait. Also, I was interrogated by the bartender (and also a re

Very clean and spacious! Great place for groups to go bowling!

Waitstaff is great. Management could be better. Lanes constantly breakdown especially lanes 31-36.

Whether you get the dark or light lanes, Cameron the server is a delight- super sweet girl and when we checked in Joe helped us out when our lanes were malfunctioning. They made our night very fun! Definitely recommend this place!

I love this me and my family had a great time the drinks were amazing the fries are to good to be true.

We bowled a tournament there lanes were good the first day. 2nd day hmmmm

Very well ran. Johanna is a terrific waitress! The best!

Had a birthday party here last weekend and the waiter was fantastic. I'm only giving one less star because it was insanely hot inside and we had to keep going outside to cool off. Definitely wear a tshirt, even if it's freezing outside.

Johanna means family! Awesome service great spot. Always on point

Kids like it but locally owned lanes are much more reasonably priced.

Groupons are so worth it. I go with my friends all the time and my mom?s on a summer league. Also have to love their $3 days!!

Very fun arcade and modern feel/decor. The lanes are pretty compact and tight

This 0lace was great! The 0lace was clean and the customer service was incredible. The manager walked around and spoke to everybody asking if they needed anything and he was super friendly. We spent 2 hours here with 4 kids and 3 adults. So worth it.

Had a great time. Drinks and food were great

Had a good time bowling here, had Camryn as our server she was amazing

Came for a birthday party. They had screens playing videos everywhere, music was just the right volume. They have racks at the end of each alley for party food, which brings me to the food review. Pizza was good, chicken fingers were better. Staff was friendly. The keypads for operating the bowling screens need to be updated.

Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday...inside looked very cool. Staff was helpful and they have alcoholic bevarages. Lanes looked well kept...didn't get to try out any food.

From check in I felt the value of my money was under appreciated. The rates for walk in are 18.99 but since I was a group I was advised to make reservation cost 30.99 per person, when I got to location the first person wasn't even able to give me an answer and immediately got a manger and tried in no way to assist after the manager came a female was basically like "yeah we can't do anything it's our policy" and left it at that if it wasn't my husband's birthday I would have refunded my money via my bank and

Classic bowling alley... Could have done without the $5.50 for a sprite but I guess these are the times

Great bowling alley. Took the family, did not give 5 stars because service was extremely slow especially in the middle of the day when not a lot of people were present. Food is a little overpriced. But great place to socialize with friends or take the family.

I had my birthday here as an adult and the vibes were so chill

Fun safe environment.. prices are very expensive though..

Great experience always and great service from Johanna every week when I bowl league

Overall a poor bowling experience. Lanes are slower than average and much glitchier than other bowling alleys. They're supposed to have servers that come up to you etc, servers take awhile or just never come up to the lanes at all to begin with. Arcade is always eating credits tons of machines are always down or glitchy. But after my most recent bowling experience here at Sayville Bowlero, I definitely will never be returning. Managers not very professional. Avoid this bowling alley for sure.

When I was a volunteer "friend" at Little Flower, I took my little charge to the bowling alley. His excitement and curiosity were such a pleasure for me to be able to make a child so happy this way, and to expand his world on a good healthy way. He never heard of renting shoes..but then he didn't know how to use a knife to cut his food either, as so many things are not allowed for safety. He's a grown man now, with a child of his own...and perhaps he is able to be more loving because of ki d things I tried

Love this place, so much fun, the arcade is great and we have even won a giant stuffy from the grab game!! Great food and awesome drinks what more could anyone need ?

Too expensive for a 1 hour game. We were told that there were no Senior discount, when we arrived. Also,no children discount, all the same price. Had 5 grands with me needed something to do,spur of the moment trip. Was to go picnicking but the weather changed. So all in all, 90 bucks for 5 children, varying in age oh,and that wasn't including myself. I just stood there DMH. So 5Below & Dollar Tree, here we come.

Johanna (server) good bowler, better worker! Keep up the good work!

It was a little pricey but that's to be expected these day. My real issue is that the pin machine kept dropping pins the whole time we were there. At least half the frames we played started with fallen pins. All of the employees we interacted with were very good

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
