We had a great time at Lucky Strike in San Marcos! The place is clean, lively, and very family-friendly. The staff was prompt and helpful, and the food was tasty?definitely better than your typical bowling alley fare. We did have to rent shoes, but they were laceless with secure Velcro straps, which made it super easy?especially for the kids. Speaking of kids, the setup was perfect for them. They had ramps and automatic bumpers that adjusted for each player, so everyone could enjoy the game at their level

Fun place! It's really a modern take on the bowling experience. The bar actually has a lot of great offerings to choose from. There is an arcade, a place to play beer pong, and couches. Lots of table seating if you just want to hang out with a group while you wait for a lane. The entire place is well lit, and there is tons of parking.

Very nice and clean interior with lots of games apart from just bowling. Great food and even better customer service! Kryssi, Klara, and Alec were amazing to our group and made it such an amazing experience for us, going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed.

Had my son?s 6th birthday party here at lucky strike! We were a large group 40 people ! I had the pleasure of working with Kryssi brewyer! She was great! Made me feel like I've known her for years the hospitality was amazing! She made sure everything was to our liking food was amazing presentation was beautiful! This location makes the summer pass a scam. The managers at this location make you wait over an hour every time with the excuse that there is a waitlist and won't provide waitimes. Meanwhile, multiple lanes stay empty and unused while you sit there and wait. They have competing promotions that they prioritize over the pass. Great attempt to try and get you to buy food or drinks.

I want to thank Lucky Strike for such a wonderful time. My birthday party was a huge hit! The service was great and the staff was personable and sincere! I will do this again for sure!!

We had our daughter?s 9th birthday party there today and it was the MOST fun, least stressful party we've ever had! Chrissy, the event manager, was attentive and communicative and our server, Alexa, was fantastic and rolled with all the special requests we had! Awful. Luxury prices without any luxury offerings. Dirty floors, overcrowded seating areas, overpriced food and drinks, and insane prices to bowl. Constantly understaffed, with such high employee turnaround that you'll likely be greeted by a new hire on your next visit and that includes management. We came to try out bowling and a few of the arcade games. We had a lot of fun! The rental shoes were clean and fairly new and the lane computer was easy to use. The food was okay; nothing really stood out. We really enjoyed the air hockey game, although it can get a little tight with a lot of players around. And we were able to win a bouncy ball from the crane game. I wish we had more time to play that night.

This is a fun place. The servers are attentive and there are things for everyone to do. Lots of people come here so don't expect pristine alleys when you bowl. They also seem to have a lot of birthday parties specially on weekends so it may feel like a circus at times.

Sarah was amazing in putting the perfect package together for us. My hubby graduation from college celebration/birthday. Everyone had a blast. We had the unlimited bowling, bar (2hrs) unlimited arcade for 1hr. Drinks were good. We order two things of chicken nachos.

We reserved online,which was an okay process. It's 2 hours or nothing shoes or nothing. There wasn't any options to pick stuff. When you call the phone number it's terrible. There are a bunch of recordings. Push one for this, push, five for that, etc. eventually you get to a human who is super helpful. When we got there the check-in process was extremely easy. They just handed us our shoes and showed us where to go. A waitress came by right away. We ordered an appetizer sampler which was surprisingly good.

LOVED Bowlero! We had a family day bowling on Labor Day. We had a blast. The venue is one of the best! I'm from Orange County & we have several bowling alleys, but none as colorful and vibrant as Bowlero. Despite the holiday, we had no wait time. I purchased a Groupon (GREAT deal!!!) but it didn't allow for us to make a reservation; it was 1st come, 1st served. We got right in & made some wonderful family memories.

Took my kids bowling for their first time. They loved it so much they want to save up to go again! I guess we found our go to place. The arcade doesn't use coins, it uses credits you put on a card. The food is very expensive (example $16 for 8 wings) so we went to eat somewhere else afterwards. It was about $100 for 6 people for one game which lasted 2 hours.

Avoid at all costs! Enjoyed the bowling and atmosphere but the price is so overwhelming! Over $90 for 2 games of bowling?!?! $9 a game plus $5 shoe rental, absolutely ridiculous prices! My husband and I came here on MLK day at 1pm. Bowled 5 games and were there for an hour and a half. For some reason for the two of us to bowl for an hour and a half and rent shoes it was $90. We were a group of 8 and we waited patiently, ordered some food etc. & basically just waited for our turn to get assigned a lane to play in. This establishment has really stepped up their events program. While the cost for party events may be slightly higher than competitors, it is well planned and organized.

Plastic lanes, you need alot of surface on your ball or be a 2 hander. The place is not for leagues. They want money from casual bowler at $8.99 a game.

Well food was amazing for bowling alley. But the fact that my feet stuck to the floor every bowl was no bueno. Just glad back is alright. I think some lanes better than others but shoes didn't seem to great either. They were sticky.

Had our birthday party here. They are very flexible and would do anything to make it a great event. The food was good but bulk made so not so yummy. Service was good but they seemed to be understaffed for the number of parties they were having. Overall highly recommend for a birthday party.

We had a great party here last night. It's a really lovely bowling alley. Our party hosts were responsive to our needs. In 16 years of parenting, thus is the first time I have officially hosted a party outside my home. It was not cheap, but it actually felt worth it. The only prep work I did was make a cake. We came here for a birthday celebration and didn't expect it to be so much fun! Each station has a little table to serve food for a party, with a diverse menu of fun finger foods (sliders, hot dogs, tater tots, fries, sundaes, pizza, wings, etc.). The arcade make the experience more flexible, when you're done with bowling you can move onto the arcade, and the adults can get a drink at the dining area. We ended up staying for 3.5 hours.

Complete and utter trash service. The 3 workers working on Dec 29th at the front desk were the WORST. We came in and were put on a waiting list and after waiting for over an hour we received a text that the lane was ready and starting coming in to bowl we were less than a minute past there ?5 minute period?. We have a child and a full family that needed to come inside 5 mins is absurd and than to instantly give our spot away is ridiculous.

Disappointing. Pricing is unclear: it's $12 PER PERSON, PER GAME. The sign just says ?per game.? Bill came out very high without warning. Women?s bathroom was very dirty, the kind of dirty that builds up from not being properly cleaned for a long time. I have never written a review before this but i felt that i had to after what i had witnessed tonight. I Had an amazing night here the bowling was great the service was amazing, however the way the manager was treating his employees was unacceptable.

Had a corporate event here, checked all the boxes. Was very entertaining everyone enjoyed themselves. However food was just your typical microwave style it seemed.

Not impressed. I tried calling ahead on a Sunday and nobody would answer the phone, just rang for minutes. Wife said she had tried calling all week, same issue. Drove 10 miles with two kids in the truck to take one bowling for his birthday. Showed up to find the league had taken over half the lanes, and the waiting list was over 25-30 people for the rest of the lanes even though I saw some weren't being used. Staff admitted the longest wait had already been 120 minutes already. Sure wish the employees care

Bowling leagues take over Wednesday?s in the mornings (maybe other times too, we arrived at 10:30 am) they were booked so we were asked to return at 1 pm. Signed up for the Fall Season Pass for about $63 a person. It includes two games per day with free shoe rental for three months. We're not bowlers so we had no idea what we're doing but we had fun.

I've been here several times and surf bowl. I would recommend surf bowl over this alley. Unfortunately customer service here is little to non existent. I have had reservation groups a few times at this location and every time experienced some form of an issue with the lane. A 45 minutes wait list quickly turned into an 1 hour 45 minute+ wait. First time in since the makeover- while impressive, management needs work. Half the lanes remained inactive for the first hour of our wait. I swear it's a ploy to get you to buy drinks, play video games and order food.

We tried to order at the pad and it never accepted my credit card, i asked for a server and we waited more than an hour to get help, pizza looked and tasted like the frozen ones and bathrooms are dirty, sink had mold...next time i i will drive to the bowlero in chula vista

Had a great time, had an issue with my food. Ordered a honey chicken sandwhich and it came and didn't taste right. I talked to one of the mangers and asked for a substitution he gladly helped, but then the substitution never came until I asked for a refund. This place is fun. My kids always enjoy themselves when we come here. It can be crowded sometimes, so I suggest you give them a quick call and see what the wait time is. Made a reservation for a group, paid for the Kingpin package. It was a bit pricey, but we really got what we paid for! The food & drinks were great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and they even decorated the table where they served our entrees? little things like that are truly memorable and thoughtful. I made that review because this place was in pretty crappy shape and needed a lot of hard work. Attended a company sponsored event. The experience was great. Easily got shoes that were newer, updated lanes and balls,catered food was delicious, modern and clean inside. And a bonus arcade card was a fun way to kill time when not actively bowling.

Always an excuse why we can't get a lane for night strike bowling. They won't even put our name on a list for a lane saying everything is reserved. What a scam. When we called to confirm that there would be lanes open for night strike they failed to mention they were all reserved except for one lane. We got here an hour early. All of a sudden that 1 lane is now also magically reserved. Don't waste your time at this place.

Staff is very misinformative about the pricing and very rude. Also didnt offer in any way to fix the situation. just looked the other way and kept saying it's not his fault when it was and instead of fixing or finding a solution just decided to look at me like an embarrassed idiot cuz he knew he was wrong Just remember its per person on the game not PER GAME with shoes

This place is seriously so amazing!! This was such a special night with my family and they went out of their way to make us feel like we were a priority and got us everything we needed! If you want a fun place for family fun where everyone can have a not a good but a great time both of the managers were so helpful and the staff was super nice. Everyone did an amazing job!! Good parking, good service, and tons of lanes. Rental shoes were clean and balls were aplenty. Having more space to put the extra balls on the lane rack would be good. We played 3 games and had several balls on our lane we couldn't find anywhere to go. The bathrooms could have been a tad cleaner, though.
