Bowlero Naperville receives mostly positive feedback for its fun atmosphere, attentive staff (especially managers like Jeff), and great event hosting, particularly for birthdays. Many praise the clean facilities, good food, and family-friendly environment. However, some note issues with understaffing, slow service, and occasional rude management. The bowling experience is generally enjoyable, though a few complain about lane conditions and high prices without discounts. Customer Reviews

Yesterday my daughter had her 5th birthday here and everything was beautiful!! Andrea the event coordinator was great to work with. She helped us pick the perfect package for our group. The staff were AMAZING. The manager came by multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. They brought the ramps and balls to us. The event girl (Carolina I think her name was) was super sweet and decorated the space BEAUTIFULLY. Our waitress was super attentive. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back!!

We celebrated my boyfriend?s birthday here and had a nice time. Service was great even though they were severely understaffed. So this 4 star is for that reason. I believe the corporate office needs to ensure that they have a full staff especially for a Saturday night. Shame on them for putting their staff through that. Management needs to step it up big time to ensure there is adequate coverage to accommodate. We appreciated the efforts of the few that WERE on staff that evening.

Decided to give this place 3 stars because the service was good and staff were very nice. Bathroom also smelled and seemed clean. Besides that, this place feels very worn down. Some of the arcade games just flat out don't work (ex. It might take your credits and not actually let you play) and the lane scoring system was bugging out quite a bit. If you're coming to bowl just for fun with some friends this place is perfectly okay, but serious bowlers might want to look elsewhere. EDIT: Fernando at the check-

Came here for the afternoon on New Year?s Eve without a reservation. The staff were super friendly and gave us a lane for 2 hours. We had a blast. The place was clean and still decorated with Christmas items along with balloons and backdrops for New Years celebrations. Service was awesome. The only negative is the food is not the best, but we don't come for the food and didn't try everything. Overall, it was a great NYE celebration doing something with the whole family. We even saw Santa. We will be back fo

My college friends and I decided to meet up after finally being back in town. A lot of places were closed so we went here. Alicia is incredible!!!! Her service was great & made sure my friends and I got what we needed for our night together. We were well taken care of & we had a blast. Overall, great service, staff, & environment.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at Bowlero in Naperville! The atmosphere was great?fun, lively, and perfect for a night out. The drinks were awesome, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Everything from the lanes to the service made for a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be coming back!

We had our team outing here last night! My team and I were super excited! From start to finish Bowlero staff took care of us and make us feel very special. I use to work for the company and I remember quickly why we choose them to host our event! Thank you to the entire team at Bowlero who made our event run smoothly thank you for going the extra mile! Big shout out to our server last night Isela! Slick city team absolutely loved her!! Before we could say what we needed she had it ready for us!! Thank you

We have purchased the summer passes to bowl here for the last 2 years and always have a great time. Yesterday we stopped by to buy our passes for the 2024 summer season and wound up having THE BEST time! (My kids have been asking when we can go back since we got in the car to go home.) The place is extremely clean, the staff is incredibly nice, and it's FAMILY FRIENDLY! The manager, Jeff went above and beyond answering ALL my questions and explaining the different tiers to the passes. He was very kind and n

Bowlero in Naperville is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! Damian the manager was exceptional at ensuring our end of year class party was a memorable experience for everyone. Make this your Go-To party destination for every event! Will definitely be returning for birthday parties!

Bowling was nice. My two criticisms: 1. I wish they did not have televisions playing all over the bowling alley. It's pretty distracting and takes away from enjoying bowling for what it is. 2. They encourage you to order drinks to the lane but those drinks won't come for a long time (or ever). They seemed pretty understaffed so I assume it was from that.

Great place for a family. We had great fun and the 3 hours flew by so quickly. We went bowling, then played arcade games, then ate pizza, which exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and really glad we came here

We went on a night that had unlimited bowling for $18.95 including shoes. The teens really enjoyed it! The area just off the lanes (observation area) was a little sticky. It could have used a good wiping down. The facility was nice. I know it caters to a younger crowd but the music was super loud. It was hard to talk to people in some areas. We ordered some nachos and a pitcher of soda and after more than 30 min I had to go to the bar and ask if we were supposed to pick it up or did they bring it to us. T

I was pretty nervous to have a birthday party for 14 8 yrs olds by myself because my husband wasn't able to attend. But Manager Ray made it soo good for me. She quickly realized how stressed I was and she went out of her way to keep an eye on me as well as on the kids. She anticipated our needs and everything went smoothly. All the kids had a blast and my 8 yrs old said that it was the Best birthday ever!!! They even gave him a choice to pick whichever plushie toy he wanted at the end , which was definitely

Cheap summer pass is good if you can find someone to check you in. Once checked in be ready to wait again as the touch screen ordering doesn't work and you'll need to get someone to help you.

We just love this place! We came in with the whole family, bowled for a bit, we had a little incident with our food, however the manager Jeff and our server Angelina managed to take care of the problem and addressed it right away! I understand we are human and make mistakes but is the way you TAKE CARE of the problem that stands out in a business. Great service! We will continue to come to this place! Oh and the games are not as expensive as others places we've been to and can't complain about the prices wh

Loved this place! A bit expensive for bowling, but the atmosphere and multiple things to do make it more worth it. My friends said the only thing they wanted more were odd sized bowling balls. I liked that they had duel size finger holes for the balls. They also have an arcade and pool tables. When in town, I'd like to stop by again

Honestly it's a cool atmosphere but the service was incredibly slow at the bar and everyone?s station was a mess. I don't know if they had a tough night, or if management needs to hire more people. Also it's not a full service bar.

We came here for a birthday party which was well put together. I am not sure if that had to do with the host or the actual place (maybe together). All in all, we had a great time and there was plenty to do with bowling and arcade games. The only reason I knocked off a star was that the food was not replenished quick enough so half the party had gotten the first round and everyone else was waiting. The workers were attentive and brought it out as soon as possible. But that is my only hesitation for a 5 star.

Jeff, rob & abbey & bob the security guard helped us when we witnessed a group of teenagers stealing our food in the middle of our party! They immediately addressed our concerns, kicked them out, & took care of us greatly. Their fast attention and quick action allowed us to enjoy our night & celebrate our good friends birthday nicely <3

Not a bowler?s lane. Driest lanes I've ever bowled on. I had to put a ton of slide powder on my shoes to get a crumb of slide up to the line. Floors at the lanes are dirty. Other bowleros were not like this. Only good if you're just throwing a ball to hit something. Will not return.

The place has been updated quite a bit since the early days when it was Brunswick zone. Now it's called Bowlero. Very clean, nice and inviting for kids as well as adults. In addition to bowling, they have arcade, laser tag, Shuffleboard, pool, and even a table tennis ?? table. Credits needed for arcade games are anywhere from 2 to 8 per game or sometimes even more. You also have to buy the arcade game card which is an additional $2. So you have to buy the card before you can add credits to it Credits are

Had an event this weekend & the service was great! Everything from planning the event & check in process were so easy thanks to the staff. Rob was our host for our party & he was great! He was super attentive, great customer service & made sure we were taken care of. Jeff, the manager was also very kind & came to ensure everything was set up as requested. I would definitely recommend this location if you are looking to plan an event. Our family had a great time!

My boyfriend and I always come to this Bowlero, and we live in Schaumburg. It is the best one and we truly love the environment, the set up, and the bartender Larry is the reason why we come back. Larry is an awesome bartender and always has positive, welcoming and kind energy.

Birthday bowling fun! We had a group of four adults. Snagged a good deal on a Groupon for bowling and arcade games. They don't take reservations when you use a Groupon, but we didn't wait too long for a lane. Played some video games while we waited. Got a pitcher of beer and an app sampler. Definitely will return.

We (party of 4: 2 adults and 2 teens) went for a fun mid - morning/early afternoon adventure before finishing our day shopping and eating in downtown Naperville on 11/18/23. We were greeted promptly upon entering around 1115 am. There seemed to be a lot of birthday party set-ups going on, and I really appreciated that they put us at a lane a little farther away from the kiddie action. We did not eat here but did order drinks (pop). They were promptly delivered so no complaints! My take-away was 1 - the

Went last night for the most part it was good experience but getting to the bar and ordering was a disaster. Shot-out to the lady named Anna she was busting her behind doing as much as she could taking orders, while the other guy named Chris was just chilling. Sucks to see when one person is doing all the work and having to split the tip when there is one person just sitting there! My party and I went up there more then 5 times for different drinks and it was always the same thing that guy doing nothing.

The place is cool, you can find arcade, bowling, pool, laser tag, bar, beer pong, and a lot more. I tried a lot of things and the things in general look clean and well mantained. The pizza is so delicious. This place is totally recommended if you want to hava a party with your friends.

The best bowling vibes. Order everything from your lane, comfy seating, lots of variation for bowling balls. Good music. Play by the hour which is my favorite thing ever. Bring some good company and just fall into the world of fun graphics for scoring with balls and pins. Recommend for a date night, family night, meet your long lost bowling team night. All of it. Security at front door too, which was nice for a sense of safety.

I first want to start off complimenting Felix C, he rang us out and was absolutely amazing. He not only was friendly to begin with, but also was great with the 4 year old that we had with us. His smile was very welcoming. He made the experience well worth it. I sadly didn't get the name of the nice lady who helped us or the laser tag guy who helped us as well. The 4 year old wanted to play laser tag and they let him in the room to watch the video. Then of course, the 4 year old changed his mind and didn't w

As far as Bowling places go this is one of the best I have been to. It has the typical flashy and loud atmosphere that can sometime be overwhelming, yet the staff was very friendly and the food was also good. The arcade also had something for everyone, get with only Limited options for little kids/ toddlers. get it's a great place to have a birthday party for an elementary school aged kid.

This place was great for hosting my 7 year old's birthday party. Between bowling and the arcade the kids had such a great time. Our host Felix was very attentive and made sure we had plenty of food and drinks, which I'm sure wasn't easy on a busy Saturday night. The place was very clean and well staffed, would definitely recommend it.

I visited Bowlero last Saturday for a party I was very satisfied. Carolina was a great help to the party. She was very nice and polite. She made our experience very great. My family had a great time. I will most definitely be visiting Bowlero again with my family.

We've been here twice for staff outings and Jeff has been amazing! Excellent customer service and fantastic experiences! Thank you Jeff and Bowlero!

I am beyond grateful for all of their help with my sons birthday!!!! They took care of all the little things that helped me focus on the party someone was there the entire time helping out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone its not soo expensive and their service is top notch. Also my son and all his friends loved the place they have something for everyone. Its the hassle free time that did it for me

We only bowled here. Has an amazing time with family and friends. The arcade area it awesome!!! The food is very good. We saw a few birthday parties going on as well. I love how they have the kids names spelled out in the lighted letters! Some aspects of this place is a tiny bit outdated. Like the bowling part. The Ramps that assist the smaller kids in rolling their ball are a little old and not as fun looking as Main Event. Also the part where you add your name to the games is a bit dated as well.

This could be an amazing place if they worked on a few things. Their customer service Is lacking. They don't have a lot of personality nor do they seem very helpful or enthused to be there. It is pricey. If I didn't have a group on I don't know if I would have wanted to spend $96 for a 4 of us to bowl 2 hours. I think there are some great deals to be found and enjoy. I would come back with my son to bring a friend and do the unlimited laser tag to check that out. Nothing was remarkable at the bar standar

i love it there, i go there almost like 2 times a month but if i could go more often i would!

The lanes were SOOOOO oiled up to the point the balls would just slide off the lanes. The balls provided were covered in oil to the point where they were slipping out of our hands. We actually saw that with MULTIPLE people in the lames mext to us. Use less oil guys, that was terrible. And $54? For 3 games along with shoes?? Nahhhh, we will stick to our normal bowling spot

Our host was amazing and our team had a great time. The food and drinks were spot on. Will come back for another team event.

Guy at the front desk(older tall) was really really rude. Waited an hour for food with the worst proportions at any alley ive been too.

My daughter works there and she enjoys it and we had fun we bowled wait times very from place to place

I went to Romeoville location was a very happy birthday for me. Made reservations which made it cheaper and came with drinks and pizza so be sure to go to the website and tune in for more discounts. Had one altercation at counter and unpro like the cashier started recording me live because he messed up. As phones should not be displayed while working he was all in his phone is why we got into it. I was a standing duck other that that had to try to re enjoy my day

2nd year doing our company Christmas party here. Great service. Fun time, cleanly area. Caroline was great at accommodating our big group! The food could be a little better but that's okay!

Moderatly expensive to bowl. Lane conditions for moderate bowler were poor. Lane service was good and food was decent. Counter service was good.

Excellent bowling alley and arcade. Although, it's pretty unaffordable without the Groupon The employees were helpful and doing their best, but it seemed very understaffed for a busy Sunday.

We recently had a team party here. The staff was extremely attentive and kind. They made the experience that much more enjoyable. The kiddos absolutely had a blast. I know we will be returning for other events and gatherings.

Amazing 10th Birthday experience! Fantastic manager and staff, inviting warm environment, amazing food and desert. Made it very personable and a special & memorable experience. Thankful and grateful to the wonderful memories created today at my sons 10 birthday! Highly recommend and definitely looking forward to going back!!!! Can't thank them enough, a reminder that good people still exist in this world!

So bowlero was ok but here's where issues lie, 1. The bowling pins are on strings which changes the way the pins fall. 2. Depending on your income tax bracket, it is PRICEY A. 1 soda with ice is 6.95 and it's in a regular glass so that'll indicate what you get. B. 2 people 4 games and shoe rental 103.00 that hurts but maybe that's where we are now for entertainment in America. 3. A little over crowded I wad there with my youngest he's 11, people next to us came with 6 kids....... Little kids, which made

Very nice spot to enjoy some good vibes, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bowling lanes kept having issues.

Great atmosphere, but service was really slow.

Super nice place to go bowling, they have up to 30 lanes and they also have an arcade, a bar and places to play pool. The system to set up the games are really simple and easy, ordering food to ur lane is really great as well, there's a good selection of different sized balls and overall was a great experience

I've been here a couple of times and it's been nice I came with my friend to play pool even though I didn't want to but the environment was good. I feel like they just need more waiters or bar staff because there's always a line or wait. But I don't mind it because there's tons of stuff to do so it's not that big of a problem.

Staff is very rude and slow. Do not order food here if you don't want to be sick. I ordered parmesan fries. Total was $17 for a basket of fries (mandatory service charge). It took 45 minutes and 3 times asking someone where my food was for it to finally be served. After brining it to me, there was the most amount of grease I'd ever seen on any plate. This picture is a PITCHER that I poured the grease into. Absolutely disgusting and overpriced. Bowling lanes are still using 90s technology that often requires

This bowling alley ?? has it all. Full restaurant choices, 40 bowling lanes, projectors for watching TV, huge up to date arcade, laser tag, pool tables. Food here was pretty good. So far in my life it's the best bowling ally I have enjoyed yet.

I went with one of my best friends. We had a great time. Staff was very friendly. Tori, especially was so kind to us. Amazing time! Definitely be back soon!

Great place for all ages. We had a blast bowling and the kids enjoyed the arcade and laser tag.

The tenders are 10 dollars for just 6 little pieces plus the fries are like 5 dollars thats 15 dollars the plate .... The drinks were 5 dollars and it was half way I have to say they took forever to bring the drinks ( but of course they charge 18% of charge) so they dont care of service... Am giving 3 starts just because the place is clean and Fernando was very nice and helpful

First time here & I had a really good time! Came on a Wednesday around 6:30pm & it wasn't too packed. As soon as I walked in, my attention went straight to all the lights! They got an arcade section, billiards ??, & a bar. Their menu has a good variety & their drink menu is great! For me, it's hard to come across places that have a nice selection of frozen & mixed drinks. I had a Pi?a Colada & a White Russian both were delicious ?? the bowling was alot of fun. I will def go back!!

Was there yesterday with a friend. The staff were very friendly, especially Tristen at the counter. He was very friendly and helped me out setting up my arcade card, give this man a raise

Very cool place. I went here as a kid when it was galaxy world (I think), but looks much different now. The lanes were nice and the family enjoyed it. The lane broke down which ate into our time because it took a little while to reset it. The food is decent. They just didn't bring it all out and I had to make multiple trips to the desk to get things ordered sent.

Place is cool and has a premium feel to it but definitely at a cost compared to other spots such as Parkside Lanes

Our school field trip had a great private party. Bowlero was the perfect place to take graduating fifth graders. They bowled, played laser tag and did the arcade. The kids had so much fun. The venue was clean, well maintained and the staff was so kind and helpful. We were really impressed and will definitely be back! Thank you Bowlero.

Had a great time with my friends recently here, the blacklight pins were cool and food was good. I also received excellent customer service from Tori working the front counter who did a great job explaining prices and different deals they offered

Such a fun place! Food and drinks are fine, definitely nothing amazing but who doesn't enjoy fried food and burgers! We bowled and played arcades, we'll be back!

We wanted to go in a Sunday to use a Groupon, but after having issues at Bowlero Woodridge, we tried to call Naperville and no one answered the phone!

This was my first time and it was amazing when i first came in Malik greeted me and got me all set on a lane quick and easy and he also pointed me to the bar where Diana was really helpful with getting our drinks and food

Great time with family. Bowling was fun but laser tag war was even better. Booked ahead and going from one game to next was smooth.

Completely blown away by the customer service and how special they made my little girl feel for her birthday celebration, which wasn't even a big party or anything. Those complaining of the price clearly don't value the customer service experience. Perhaps a Chucky cheese is more their speed. We will be back for every birthday party now.

Great spot! Host our daughters laser tag birthdays here!

My 4 year old has a blast! He had never been bowling before and told me he definitely wants to come back. When we were done bowling we had to play in the arcade of course. Great selection of games and very clean. Didn't try the food but I will next time and update my review

I was there over the weekend and when me and my friends arrived there my friend accidentally brought a drink with me and then the two security guards began yelling at him to throw the cup and which we did not know was a rule and while he was throwing his cup way one of the security guards yelled at us saying are you amigos coming in with everyone being Hispanic after that we left I would not recommend coming here security are rude and racist

It's nice place to spend time your evening. Best bowling place in Chicago area

Amazing experience all thanks to Jeff, the general manager. He went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Will be returning again!

Deshawn the manager was very rude to my little brother because we been to the bowlers in downtown Romeoville and they always add the credits to the same card He scream at my brother ?no? and was being very rude

Bowlero is a fine place to go. For such a high end consumer area I'm said to see old Computers keeping score. The men?s bathroom was small and dingy. I have an infant and had to change him on the bathroom floor. My friends and I went there on a Groupon.

Father and son night outing. Had to wait a long time to get a lane, because they couldn't find the lane reservations list... Then once we began our game and settled in, we were asked to move lanes because there was a mistake. No one ever claimed the lane we were removed from by the time we finished. Sadly our outing experience was effected poorly by this, and the way the staff didn't show any empathy or offer any concessions for the inconvenience. I would not recommend

Ball return chipped my ball in 3 different spots and on a Friday night the lanes are oiled to hell. Every ball is dripping in oil

Love bringing my family here. I see they have upped security. we always have a good time nonetheless

Bowlero is awesome. Has that old school bowling alley vibe but with updates. Decent beer selection.

Fun place. Nice Lanes. Wish they had a little menu, tablet or something at the lanes.

I've been here plenty times before with my family and friends but I came in today on a quiet Wednesday with my two kids for bowling and arcade. Fernando was so great and provided IMO above and beyond customer service. Always have a great experience when I'm here.

Don't come here unless you're a bum, nothing works

We'd been to this location before the renovation and it was always fun but now with all the work that's been done WOW! The venue looks great, the food is AWESOME (make sure to eat the chaos nachos and chicken club sandwich - YUM!), and the staff is dedicated to making sure we had a great time. I hope they'll continue finishing the arcade section to make it as great as the bowling alley, but either way we'll be back soon!

My wife and I first came to this location for a birthday party my daughter was invited for. At first glance it just seemed like a normal bowling alley from today's time line. But the more I noticed I saw the detail and hard work the staff was giving towards the birthday party making sure the party package was honored. After seeing that we decided to have my daughter's birthday party there also we picked the VIP package and I just have to say my daughter wife and myself will definitely keep going there for t

Great place! Food was good, drinks were great. Had some issues with our lane. Help button was broken, but staff members we brought over were always helpful.

Undercover police officers are actively inspecting vehicles with flashlights while customers bowl inside.

Ahmad was very helpful with my bowling experience tonight and I plan on coming back again am hopefully I can have him service me again??

So big! So much to do! So much fun!!! We went for the bowling and food but there is so much else to do. The bowling was the usual fun. The service was good. The food was nice. Don't waste time with the spinach dip. The buffalo cauliflower bites were delicious. The pretzels were a hit. I never got a chance to eat a fried cheese stick - they were gone before I got to them. I liked being able to order at the lane from either a server or the automated kiosk. I didn't like that Bowlero pushes you to tip

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
