Amazing business with such kind staff. The owner even gave us tips as we were bowling which really helped us out. He also shared the history of the facility and was very nice to talk to. I highly recommend coming here for a fun time!

Wonderful place, family friendly, very friendly staff, decent restrooms, would recommend going if you've never been, I'm definitely going to be a returning customer, duckpin is quite fun and they have a wide variety of the arcade games ,also a pool table room , on a side note you can bring your own food and if you're 21 you can bring your own adult beverages. Was a great experience and friendly atmosphere.

Had GREAT family night last night!! Phil & Tom were so welcoming, we went there for my husbands 60th birthday. It was great that we could bring in our own food and drinks! A nostalgic night, we'll be back!

Very impressed with this place, we took our son here and we all had a great time. It's 100 years old so it's deceiving from the outside because you can tell it's old, but it is a decent place and the owner is very friendly. We will be going again soon.

Took our 4 young grandkids there today for their first time bowling. The staff was very helpful, friendly and patient with all of us.

Lucky Strikes is a historic gem in our local community , and I must say, it's an absolute ball (pun intended). From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere that the owner and staff have cultivated. The owner, in particular, stands out for their exceptional friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. On my first visit, they took the time to personally explain how to keep score, which was a pleasant surprise. This personal touch made me feel valued

My first time playing with the small balls and duck pens. That was a fun experience, and I'm glad I found this place. They are lacking a running snack bar. That is the negative.

I used to go here all the time as a kid. I wish people would come here more so they could afford to revitalize it! Bathrooms were very clean and bright.

Old Bowling Alley. Duck Pin. Hard to find those anymore. A button to press for Reset and a pedal to step on to clear fallen pins. No electronic scoring. Only paper. They do have bumpers for the kids.The place smells musty but you get used to it and it doesn't smell anymore after a while. Our Lane needed to be fixed twice because it stopped working. Three generations of our family had a fun time at Lucky Strike duckpin bowling. Little ones can use bumpers and a ramp to launch the ball. Not loud like many of these places are.

The other day Sunday to be exact me and my 3 girls were trying to find the flea market to see what it was about so we was looking for it I couldn't find it yet I pulled into lucky strike me and my babies decided to go in and check out the price see if we had enough to play a game well this kind wonderful man said he could do it buy minutes if that would be easier for me so i literally only havs $21 so he could do half the time for $14

Great place. Not overcrowded. Very relaxing time bowling and playing pool. Owner was very warm, welcoming and informative about the history of the place. Prices are very reasonable. We will be back!

Love it! To reset the lanes you have to press a little button which I appreciated. And duckpin bowling is so much more fun than tenpin! More accessible to the beginner too to in my opinion, since the balls aren't as heavy. Rich and Richard were friendly, helpful, and passionate.

Had my son's 3rd birthday party here today, and everyone had a great time!!!! The staff here was awesome. Rich (the owner I believe), was so friendly and helpful. Its a nice "old school" vibe type of place, that has duckpin bowling and an arcade. I would definitely recommend Lucky Strikes Lanes!

I've been coming here for damn near thirty years. Staff are short friendly. My daughter just recently had her birthday party and she had a blast. I wish they had a Dart board

Loved the old school mom and feel of this place. It made me feel like I was back in the 70s. Even though it's a bit dated everything still works and is in perfect condition. Brought my 6 year old here for hours first bowling experience and he loved it. Not to expensive and the staff was helpful. Duck pin was my Cabot growing up so it's nice to see that keep it alive!

I have taken my special needs sister who is in a wheelchair here the last two Saturdays 4/1 and 4/8 and the workers there have been amazing. Richard helped bring my sister in and back out to the car when we were finished bowling. He got her down to the lanes and my sister had a blast. It was awesome... We had a huge group (30+ people) and the owner/manager accommodated all of us. He was all alone. Plus He took the time to show several of us the best posture and how to bowl correctly. !!! In regards to the building itself it is an older bowling alley and needs an upgrade sooner than later. As a suggestion: It smells of mildew/musty in there and really needs several humidifiers to reduce the smell. Probably time to change the carpet and put a new one in. Fun old-fashioned duckpin bowling. I love that it's not automated like a lot of places now a days. You keep track of your scores with pencil and a paper score sheet. You have to push a button or pedal on the ball machine to pick up the pins, clear the ones that have fallen, or push the button to reset for the next player. Prices are very reasonable. Fun place for an outing with family and friends. Also, it is a fun, inexpensive place to have a childs birthday party.

My friends and I visited for the first time recently and we will absolutely be back. Although from the outside it looks a little unwelcoming- It was not only affordable, but it was so much fun! So much history too, we loved it!

Lucky Strike Duckpin bowling was fantastic! The owner was amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. Good place for Duckpin bowling. Scoring is by hand, but the attendants were friendly. The bathrooms were kinda sketchy, and we didn't get any food. Small selection of arcade games. Couldn't beat the price of $2 Tuesday ($8 for three games per person!) and they have deals for couples/students every week night. Overall, enjoyable.

Hidden gem of a place, I've only been "off season" but we were able to bring in good since snack bar was closed which was awesome. Old school style bowling (no electronic scoring), shoe rental, duckpin bowling, (small balls). Very clean. Carpets, tables, lanes, shoes, all in good condition and clean. Vending machines with good prices available. Lots of parking.

They are now open to the public and our family had a wonderful time at Lucky Strike Lanes! The staff were super helpful and the kids had alot of fun. We went for the Music and lights on a Saturday night it was so cool. My wife and I are grateful they are open and we will be back for sure.

The machines are very dated and Equipment as such. The games and arcade machines they have there will and can steal your money very easily. However overall it was a good time and with a few hiccups we had with the arcade machines and a couple bowling lanes that would not operate all was well and my son and I will most likely return.

We were looking for a fun and affordable activity for about 30 noisy, young and old family members. We had a blast! The young man working was very pleasant and helpful from start to finish. We are looking forward to another bowling party soon!

I need to let people know how awesome this place is because it seems to be owned by a small business owner who clearly is in because he loves to do it. There are also great employees that are very willing to please and extremely kind and generous with their time. Great way to have a cheap night out with your friends or with family

Duck Pin Bowling!!!!! Equipment is a little dated but what duck pin/candle pin bowling alley has brand new equipment. Great experience for a different style of bowling and they enjoy teaching newcomers how to properly play. Offers league bowling, small arcade games and a billiards room. Prices for bowling and shoe rental are very reasonable.

The only game in town now that the local 10 pin lanes sold out and closed up. Duck pin bowling is a somewhat unique to the eastern Connecticut, Rhode Island and some small parts of Maryland. Experience it while you can. It's definitely more difficult then standard 10 pin, hence the three balls your allowed. The alleys are nice, but the building is showing its age. I just had my first experience here and I'm blow away at the retro feel and the amazing atmosphere! We held a fundraiser as Warriorthon to raise money for CT Children?s and the staff was so helpful in making sure we had the best event possible!! Thank you lucky Strikes! I can't wait to come back!

Lot of fun bowling here with friends. Staff is very friendly and instructive. You can bowl at your own pace and it always feels like a new challenge everytime we come here.

It was a fun and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon with the family clean and customer service was very nice they have refreshments and also tv. Their is a pool room in the back and a lot of parking space OVERALL GREAT TIME!!!
