Lucky Strike Honolulu

Lucky Strike Honolulu

Reviews Summary

Lucky Strike generally receives positive feedback, with many praising its fun atmosphere, diverse entertainment options (bowling, arcade games), and good food, especially poke nachos and sliders. Service is often highlighted as friendly and attentive, though some note occasional lapses. The bowling lanes, while enjoyable, are smaller with string pins, which some find less authentic. Prices are considered reasonable, though drinks can be expensive. Families appreciate the kid-friendly environment, while adults enjoy the bar and sports screens. A few reviews mention inconsistent food quality or service delays, but overall, it's a popular spot for both casual visits and events.

Customer Reviews

Located on the 3rd floor of the mall,we went around noon time and it was pretty packed with family and all sorts of people having a great time with arcade games, ticket games, and just eating and drinking at the bar and restaurant. Had a great time playing some of the games and just chilling out and winding down after some shopping at the mall. There's also a small bowling alley upstairs. The door and stairs to the bowling area is at the far end right corner of Lucky Strike. There's actually another bar ups

Great place to have fun with the Family and friends or even alone when you need to let loose and have a great time, very good food and drinks are good and strong and the games are awesome ??% love coming here on my day off from work or even just stopping in for an appetizer and a quick few games ????

In addition to the delectable food and fun games, Lucky Strike also boasts an extensive drink menu. From craft beers to handcrafted cocktails, there is no shortage of libations to choose from. The bar area provides a lively ambiance where guests can relax and enjoy their favorite beverages while watching sports games on large flat-screen TVs. The bowling lanes themselves are well-maintained and offer an enjoyable experience for bowlers of all skill levels. With state-of-the-art scoring systems and comforta

Here's the deal with Lucky Strike Honolulu. If you're at Ala Moana and you want a break from shopping this is a nice place to play some games, have a beer and chill for a while. The food is normal bar type food, be aware the menu is limited. But! They have the best truffle fries that I've found so far. I like the place because they have two pinball machines. Pinball is my game of choice when it comes to arcade games. If like me, you like drinking at a not so crowded bar. Then head upstairs, yes they have

Love watching Sunday Football here. Service is always awesome. Love the Environment. Love how clean it is here. The only thing I really wish..... was for Lucky Strike to sale Lunch items for Sunday morning NFL. Mostly the Poke Nachos. Watching Football is best when eating Bar food.

Good arcade for kids to spend time and money!

Came with a group of friends and bowled upstairs. Jarren (I think his name) and the other staff guy working made the experience so much fun. Engaged our group and brought some awesome vibes the whole time. We'd definitely go back after that experience.

I came here for the arcade machines and had a blast playing the games! They were all very affordable and all the machines were clean and working well.

Update 1/22/23: Still awesome and you know it cause it's getting busier! Most busy times are Sunday morning football, Friday/ Saturday nights and while kids are out of school. Food, games and service is still great. Jamie the hostess/server is so awesome....just saying!! Update 11/27/21: Back for more at the dining area and still awesome! The customer service is exceptional!! Tried the Loco moco this time and it was fabulously different! May be a regular here! Update 11/13/21: Tried the dining area

I've been there twice and it was always fun! There is one more arcade at Ala moana mall but this place is so so much better! I got plush dolls all the time! I love their games and it's not too packed. They also have a bar and food so if you're hungry you can have some food too. I love to go there again anytime soon! ??

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon, around 3pm and the place was not crowded. We waited only for about 7 minutes. There are only 4 lanes so there may be quite a wait if going at a busy time. Although the place was clean and well-kept, I feel the price is on the high side especially since you are paying by the hour and not per game. Not a place to go if you intend to take your time or relax. The spaces are quite tight if you go with a bigger group like we did. It may be great for date night with just the c

We stopped at Ala Moana to kill time before our flight. We decided to walk through Lucky Strike to check it out. There are no signs posted, but you are sprayed with either a deodorizer or some kind of perfume. Not a very good thing for those of us with multiple chemical sensivities. This usually results in me developing a migraine, followed by intractable vomiting, ending with an ER visit to stop the migraine cycle. My husband, who will be sitting next to me on the flights also got sprayed!! So I have a do

Great family Friday get together. Local band playing was awesome! The service, food, and drinks were on point! There was a little bit of everything for everyone young and old??.

Wedding Review! We had our wedding on the second floor of Lucky Strike and it was a DREAM WEDDING! The team went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day was perfect. Chelsea and Mikal were so helpful and attentive during every minute of the wedding. The team helped us set up decorations, they were tending to our guests, making sure the buffet area was clean and always stocked. The team really made our wedding day feel so special and the space was perfect! All our guests raved about the food, we w

We had a decent experience overall, but I have to mention something that left a bad impression. Our server, Katarina, directly told us that we must leave a tip and even specified the amount. As tourists, we understand and respect the tipping culture, and we were planning to leave a tip regardless. But to demand it in such a blunt way felt pushy and inappropriate. Katarina ? sorry, but that was rude and unnecessary. Tipping should be a gesture of appreciation, not something forced.

This place is really great entertainment! It is fun for the entire family. The play card is reasonably priced and you get quite a few token for what you pay for (in essence a good value). This would be an awesome place for Birthday parties or even company socials. Food and beverages are also served here as well.

Really a 3.5 arcade was so funnnn! Restaurant was a vibe . Live music was greattt. Although my wings were kinda raw, pasta UNSEASONED, the sushi was delicious. Staff was so helpful . Would highly recommend just bring your own salt packs .

Food was very good. Reasonably priced. Great selection of games. Busy, but only had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Food was delivered quickly. Server was very nice and talkative. I'll return next time I'm in town!

This review is for their restuarant and arcade. Bowling on the other hand.. not gonna lie, you folks need to oil up the lanes better.. I've been coming to Lucky Strike since opening day. I've been here maybe hundreds of times. Their arcade is mostly redemption-style games very similar to Dave n Buster, but cheaper. Also, the food is WAY BETTER THAN D&B!! They have probably the best poke nachos on the island. At first I was like, EW pineapple in my poke nachos?? But it was actually good?? And I'm a lifetim

The food and people were good , its not alot of games to play like Dave N Busters but its decent. The bowling alley upstairs is nice with a bar and cushy sofas. They had a private event going on so we couldn't bowl.

Bowling alley with four lanes on the top floor. Great bar and excellent food and service. Vegetarian and gluten free options. Downstairs they have a great arcade with a variety of games. Their prize room has some very high end stuff available, like headphones, watches, surfboards, and of course plenty of kids toys and candies.

Saturday and Sunday during football season, come here to watch the games. They have a lot of screens and broadcast multiple games simultaneously. The manager came down to help and ask what game I wanted displayed on the screen. We realized they didn't carry all the networks to see some of the prime time games, but she did try. Bar food is ok but good atmosphere when all of the other sports fans show up makes it fun to watch.

Atmosphere Was Amazing!!! Not Too Busy On A Monday Night. Our Favorite Server With Great Customer Service Was Amazing, Yes He Is Amazing!!! The Food Was Ono Munch Away And Enjoy! My Sister Friend And I Was So Hungry And My Friend Recommend To Eat Here Again / With Our Favorite Server That Served Us The Last Time, AMAZING!!! Thank You So Much. God Bless You ALL Always And We Will Be Back Soon Again And Ask Our Favorite Server!!! Of Course On Monday Night's Cause I'm Free Monday's, Night Time For Dinner Dine

We went around 3 pm so there was still lots of parking, wasn't very busy in the restaurant section and gaming section was pretty calm. My server Roz was awesome!!! Best service ever true local sistah who really loves her job she understands the importance of creating an experience the customers will enjoy.

My son had his 8th birthday party here and I must say it was nothing short of amazing!!! We're new to Hawaii and I can't think of a better place to celebrate. The staff and the manager were AMAZING, some of the best service I've had since relocating to Hawaii, they were very attentive and polite and consistently checked in on us. On top of that, the food was great and they even spelled my son name out with the marquee letters adding a nice touch! We did a party package for about 8 kids and it was worth ever

An arcade, bar and restaurant all in one! This place pops off. It's family friendly while also very hipster at the same time for the college kids and adults. One of the few places that's open late for a bite to eat and it's a nice place for people to socialize and hangout. Food was great and the music was pumpin.

A fantastic venue for parties. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and selections from a full service bar. Large, clean restrooms, and lots of space to mingle with party goers and music at a level which makes conversation easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for parties of 75 or less

We LOVE Lucky Strike! Chauncey just gave us the best service and we can't wait to go play our after dinner games ????

The food is delicious and their Pink Elephant mixed drink was tasty. The games are newer, but super fun. The only downside is that bowling is $20 per person (not including shoes) instead of per lane.

Food served for our event was Awesome! Pulehu Steak, Artichoke Dip, Braised Ribs, Chicken Slidees, Salad, Mash Potatoes, Mix Vegetables. Service not so hot. Pitchers of drinks were empty, all they did was remove them and not replaced/refill...to include water pitchers.

Lucky strike Honolulu is our entertainment and dining spot since it opened up it's doors, always great food ,great drinks, fun game room with incredible excitement and great service, we just visited this Friday night and it was packed with its lovely customers ,live music and entertainment. As always it was bustling and moving ,its always great to be back and see you soon

Overall a great experience here. The food is decently priced, especially for downtown Honolulu, and all of the food was great. The kalua pork quesadilla was delicious, and full of pork. Not too salty. The chicken tenders were very crispy, very hot, very good. If you like your steak done medium well, order it rare here. Ordered medium, it continues to cook on the hot plate. Steak was still delicious and seasoned well, the mushrooms and onions were the best part of the steak plate. Caesar salad was good, cris

This was out first time visiting Lucky Strike Social (not sure if it's a chain?). They have a great selection of games that are not in most arcades. They also have classics like skee-ball. Tickets are pretty easy to earn. We spent about $35 for 1.5 hours of playing games (2 people). We had earned about 1500 tickets and got a cute plush! It was a fun little date. The atmosphere was nice and not overly crowded with screaming children, so it was nice for adults too. Not as big as a Dave n Buster's, but was s

Super friendly staff but didn't seem like things are getting taken care of compared to other Bowlerocorp bowling alleys the shoes and tables were kinda dirty and quite sticky and the lane system seems extremely outdated and the pinsetter kept messing up more then it should, either not resetting to 10 pins or falling when getting set, not to mention the lanes themselves were as dry as a bone couldn't even tell the balls have ever seen oil before and the house balls couldn't even make it halfway down the lane

I liked their tempera mushrooms best, downtown; but I think those were discontinued in all of their restaurants. I suggest those if you see them anywhere.

Great place to hang out for a few drinks and some ono pupu. Kids and adults love the gaming area.

The food is good. Service could be better. The menu is not too different from other similar restaurants. The location is top notch within Ala Moana. The game room is good size for this location.

Lanes are available to rent only by the hour ($55) Shoe Rentals are $8 Lanes are dry, but you'll still find your mark. Music is at a good dance level, and the food and drinks are good enough to come back.

We haven't been to this place always passed it before when we visited to Oahu, but finally we had a place for our family to play games besides fun factory and the best part it is open late for the late night families that want to find something for their kids to do that is t closed early. There is a wide selection of games I would say better than jungle fun. It is pricey but again it has a lot of games! Most of the games are operating well and not closed due to maintenance. We didn't get to try their food b

My Experience From Start To Finish Was Phenomenal. Celebrated My Daughters 10th Birthday At Lucky Strike. Lori (Coordinator) Worked Us In At The Last Minute. She Was Efficient, Friendly, Listened To My Needs And Wants And Brought It To Fruition. Was Planning On An Event In July But She Was Amazing Enough To Get Us In With A Day-Before Request. How Amazing Is That! Help Setup My Menu SelectIons And Requests, Came To Greet Us Day Of And Checked On Us Midway Through. Mahalo Lori! Anna (Manager) Was Kind On Tel

Great place for both parents and kids. Arcade for the kids and drinks for the adults. There are large screen TVs with all the sports and full restaurant food too. Nice place to hang out if you do not want to shop.

Lucky Strike in Ala Moana is a standout spot for both fun and relaxation. The bowling experience is top-notch, with well-maintained lanes and a lively atmosphere. The venue offers a variety of entertainment options, including arcade games and pool tables, making it perfect for groups and families. The food and drinks menu features delicious and reasonably priced options, adding to the overall enjoyment. With its friendly staff and clean, modern facilities, Lucky Strike is a fantastic choice to kick start yo

I visited Lucky Strike today for some Christmas Eve Football action. I've been playing games at Lucky Strike for multiple times, and now, it was my first time getting a taste of the food at Lucky Strike Social.

Delicious appetizers, yummy drinks and fun games! There was also live music when we had went.

Very spacious & comfortable. Very friendly service with awesome drinks & ono food. Lots to do for all ages & all the sports you want to watch. Fair prices & lots of parking. Best beers on tap. Largest Pac-Man game EVER!!! A "must check out" if you're ever at Ala Moana!

There's one blonde female bar tender who's name I didn't even care to ask, she refused to keep taking my orders after I didn't tip her the first time, she told me ?no tip, no service? and kept me waiting in the bar without attending my requests, pay her more or fire her

So glad we found this place. Love the food. Great staff and an awesome friendly atmosphere. All the food is amazing.

Great place to watch Sunday Morning football. The staff is very attentive. Just wish there were more food options.

We always have a good time at the arcade and tonight was the first time I tried out the bowling alley. My friends and I all had a lot of fun and really enjoyed ourselves! Also the service was great. With that said, there are a few caveats that people should be aware of. 1) this is not a full size bowling alley. The approach is very cramped and if you are a bowler you will feel it. The pins also do not fall quite naturally because they are on strings. It's close to the real thing but you might consider this

There is an incredible variety of games, bowling, and good food.

Great atmosphere lots of good games. HAD A BAR you could actually get drinks while playing. Half price Wednesdays. Lots of prizes to choose from. Some cool games I'd never played at any arcades before including 4-way air hockey!

From all the arcades Lucky Strike is one of my favorites, the money seems to last longer than others. Having a bar with daily specials inside makes it more fun. The only reason im giving 4 start, instead of 5 is because to gain a prize you must play a lot of games before you get a decent one.

Had so much fun here. The value for the games, particularly with a loaded card is great. Kids can play for a long time, accumulate lots of ticket and go for some really interesting prizes. Definitely something for everyone. We really enjoyed the two pinball machines (medieval madness and Aerosmith), both very good modern pins, with the difficulty settings set reasonably so everyone has a chance at extea balls and replays. Galaga and space invaders was a hoot. Great meals and friendly staff. All the ch

Pretty fun place, came here from out of town and hosted a corporate event the staff was friendly and the food was pretty good for an arcade bar! Lots of games and bowling

It's a great place to take kids and the family it was a fun time as always

Chauncey offered us great service and we love the games!

2 stories of awesomeness. Upstairs has 4 bowling lanes. Downstairs is a huge arcade!! Park on top by the old shirokiya. Plenty of room for a party and kids

Great service upstairs- bowing - good food

Lucky strike is a fun time. However customer service is extremely sub par. Had to remind the ?server? in bowling area 3 times about a food order for the group. Apologized many times for forgetting but never put in the order. Would recommend if not looking for reliance on the service from the employees.

First off, this place is incredibly difficult to find, Google was of no help here. There are only 4 lanes. When we arrived there was a group of teenage boys on the first lane, the attendant put us on the lane right next to the boys. No room to move around, there are a set number of balls to share between the two lanes. The balls were not smooth, the holes were rough, lanes were not oiled well, we only played one game. Pricing is crazy, it was $25.00 for two of us to play one game, no shoe rental. We each go

Reasonably priced food and arcades. The place is large enough so it didn't seem crowded at any point

Bright lights and games, games, games and more games. We didn't play any games, but it was fun watching others play them.

Lucky strikes is a fun place to go on the weekends to have some fun

We've come here a few times now and the kids love it. There's a good variety of games and plenty of space to enjoy it. They have a smaller bowling alley on the second floor that we also enjoyed. They offer drankz and food--a good place for game days. I recommend coming out and enjoying the games out here.

Food and service good not too crowded

I liked the food and the games were kinda fun however its kinda pricey though

Bartenders up and downstairs need to learn ALOHA and NOT attitude! No friendly greetings and horrible at explaining their 1 drink per person policy. Our group felt like a burden to the Bartenders ! We get it's busy, but it would be nice to at least be acknowledged, a simple smile or "I'll be right with you" is all it takes! Server and bowling counter completely opposite. They were super friendly. Will change my stars next time we go if Bartenders can do better.

We have lived on the island for 8 years and we had been to the arcade section a couple times, but for the first time we went to bowling section midday on a Sunday this weekend. Mind you there are 4 lanes, but plenty of bar party space, two or three dart stations available if I'm not mistaken, and a plethora of seats with sport screens available outside of the bowling lanes. The sliders we ordered were delicious in the middle of our game, the staff was attentive, and It really made our Sunday. Can't wait to

Lanes were a little short but still cool to have the option. Great game selection and the bar is awesome. Great customer service. If you are looking for competitive bowling, go to an actual bowling alley.

Too much of a bar vibe for my taste. Miss the old affordable arcades. I'm sure some people like the bar vibe, though. Each to their own I guess. ?????

Birthday package includes 1 hour of bowling. Even though the package was kind of pricey, my teenager girl enjoyed with her friends.

I would love to know if it is common practice for you to cut off a customer after they've purchase one drink with zero explanation. It was extremely embarrassing considering I had just convinced my group of 25 people, who are here for a wedding party, to come to the arcade. I purchased one drink at the bar, the Lucky Sunset, closed my tab and played games. Came back to the bar at least 30-45min later, ate chicken tenders with my friends and after finishing my meal I asked for a redbull vodka and was told ?

I love this place. Its like an arcade for adults since it has a bar and good music playing. You can order food here as well and had a sit down area and restrooms inside. There are good game options ranging from usual carnival style to modern graphics ones. The pricing for the cards to play is reasonable. I believe we payed $30 some for 130+ points, which was good enough for two people to share.

I enjoy coming here for great friendly service on football Sundays. Not so crowded and very clean.

Fun place for our family. We been here twice and spend a few hours here. Fun place. Great customer service. No broken games. They address any issues quickly---my brother had a machine taking credit but not allowing him to play, they gave him his credit back quickly. We ate here once on one of our visits, no complaints---it was good to us. Gets busy in here but still able to have lots of fun.

A great spot to have a bite to eat with the kids and then play some games afterward. The food was delicious, particularly the sliders. They provide a wide selection of foods on their menu, including kid's meals. The service was excellent, and everyone was kind and helpful.

The inside of place is nice, open and not so crowded for a Friday night. The game are meh, not much to choose from if you're going with a group of adults. But The bartenders didn't give back the right change to us 3 times, which is why I am rating this place low. We were not impressed the third time and called the waiter out for it. We will definitely not be returning.

Highly recommend for happy hour, adult birthdays, or something to do on a rainy night. Also recommend for families who want to keep the kids entertained and also have a decent meal and some drinks. The bar and kitchen are notches above any traditional bowling alley or arcade. We did spend over $100 in arcade game cards and ended up with about 700 rewards points, which is about enough for a pack of gum, but that's to be expected of an arcade I suppose. Bowling prices are reasonable for the location, but

Came around 330 pm there was no line for food or games. Quick service. Was able to walk right into bowling. $15 an hour per person, $3 shoe rental. Only four lanes so I assume the lines get long. But this timing seemed to be perfect! Also note, the price increases to $20 after 6pm. No happy hour for drinks/food but the prices seem reasonable, about $15-20 per meal and $10-15 for a drink. Very large portion sizes.

Lots of fun. Card system is so much better than the old tokens. Not terribly expensive, though different games have different costs. My only complaint is that it was very loud. But I suppose when everyone is playing games it just gets loud! This was a fun add on to our date night.

Drinks are expensive, food is good and decently priced. Good game selection, two lane bowling alley on second floor that I've never tried. The bowling alley lanes looked shorter than normal and the pins are the kind that are help up by strings which, to me, takes some of the fun out of bowling. Overall it's a fun place to go and my kids enjoy it too.

Great spot w huge screen for sports, good food, great service!

Make sure to reserve a lane if you're going to bowl

Nice sized place with plenty of games. Good variety of entertainment ! Don't drink, so I wouldn't know about the bar. Definitely bring friends and a good attitude

The staff is always amazing and helpful. The food alone is worth checking out. The game room has a wide selection of games to choose from! A great place to hang out or to hold an event!

I took my son to play some games and was pleasantly surprised. I had been told the games were really expensive and they were definitely not. For $56 I got a game card with 500 points. Each game he played was between 5 and 8 points. That's a lot of games to play for $56. The games are awesome too. He loved the Transformers game and skeeball. Then surprised me telling me let's play air hockey. Blast from the past and onto the next generation. The hostess at the front desk was so kind and informative. Thank yo

This place is a very easy going and high energy hangout for everyone of all ages. During the day time it's geared towards family fun and entertainment, but after hours they've got an amazing open bar with live D'J's to keep you engaged. Also the upstairs has a bowling alley that remains 21 and over after the clock strikes 10pm. The staff and employees are so very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your experience is top notch!

I wanna give 4 stars to the server. I forgot his name he was awesome and polite. was informed that business was bought out by another company? I didn't enjoy the food that much. They got rid ?bring the heat burger?. The quality of the food wasn't good. I was disappointed in the pizza.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
