Such a great experience, I came here with co-workers for a work charity and had such an amazing time. Employees here are very attentive, focused and friendly, the bowling alley was great, games and music made it even more fun. Such a peaceful view outside of Lucky Strike where you can see boats and the beautiful water from the Hudson River. This is a great place to come with family, friends and definitely work events.
Arrived at 7pm, it was overlyy crowded and full. Had to scan a QR code to join a waitlist bc we had no reservation. It let me know that theres were 26 groups of ppl and 109 persons in front of me. Me and my guest went to the bar to at least eat and there was no room. When we finally got a seat at the bar the counter tops were wet and sticky. It took forever for a server to acknowledge us even tho we were sitting right in front of him. It took another worker to tell him to service us for him to say ?who?? An
First time here and at 1st we didn't like the wait time. And the food we ordered came out late.. Once we got called for our lanes there was an issue with the Groupon we purchased. Asia the counter person who took care of us tried a few times to correct the issue. She couldn't so she called the Manager Ariel, and he fixed the issue promptly and efficiently. Also when it came to the food ordered, He took great care of us. For the first time here these employees went above and beyond to make our evening fantas
Oh my god, is this a scam? We went as two people and only played two games, but they charged us for four. They said that putting each person?s name into the system counts as one game. Like? seriously? Total scam. The rental shoes were also in bad shape?really old and worn out. And the bowling balls were full of dents and scratches? they were just awful. The venue itself is pretty spacious, and they do play loud, energetic music. It wasn't very crowded either. But honestly, the pricing is such a rip-off. T
I attended a large party of approximately 50 people for 3hr open bar with about 2 servers.. The atmosphere was amazing.. drinks was great but it took so long to get drinks so we had to double up.. But the staff did their best to accommodate us.. Parking is terrible in that part of Manhattan so I had to use their parking lot which was $51 plus confessional pricing ??.. Played some of their arcade games & got some small prizes.. Overall I would love to visit again but I doubt it.. It's simply too expensive to
we came here as a fun date night for two people and honestly did have a fun time. it all felt really nostalgic. we got the tickets through groupon and highly recommend doing that because its affordable and comes with the shoe rentals. depending on the time you go there might be kids running around but after 6pm (we went on a sunday) it got pretty empty and was just adults having a good time. while we waited for a lane we played some arcade games and got some food. i would get the spinach dip again.
Nice experience here. Lots of bowling lanes with arcade machines thought. The air hockey was a lot of fun. Location is out of the way and prices are reasonable for the city. I would come back.
Great place for bowling. Expensive parking on the pier, but 2-3 blocks from there you can find a regular street paid one, which will be few times cheaper. Staff are very nice
Overall rating: 4.6 I came here a few times with a bowling league and had a lot of fun! Oddly, the prices online are 10x more expensive than when you're there. It's better to go and sign up that way. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area & in the mood for bowling!
We came on a weekday afternoon and I'm glad we did because we had some space from the crowds of kids in the arcade area while we bowled. The graphics on the screen were great, as it's sometimes hard to see how many pins are left at the end of the lane. I would have loved to try some food, but it will have to be at our next visit to the city. My partner said his drink was quite strong!
Came here for a work event, and it was a great time. The pizza was good enough for a bowling alley, and the bowling was as expected.
GREAT venue for family fun and celebrations! Ours was a pre-wedding, birthday celebration. Bowling, food, arcade games and laser tag offered a GREAT experience for NEW family members to bond. Something for everyone!
brand new bowling shoes ruined because they don't clean their floor. there was literal gum on there lanes ( i was playing on lane 34) and jessica was the manager on duty.
A fun time was had! The food was good, it didn't take too long to come, the mixed drinks were tasty. (A little stronger would be nice) the place was very clean and staff members were courteous. The only downside when i went, which btw is not to any fault of their own, 30-40 kids came in a little after us, which took up all of the games that we wanted to play. Who knew class trips happened on a Sunday!?!
I made a reservation at bowlero on February 15th. When i showed up they told me they did not see my reservation. I showed them that they had charged my card. The person at the front desk told me it's only pending so it should go away. Eventually the charge went through while we were waiting on the waitlist. They then informed us the front desk made a mistake and that we did have a reservation. well..... i have been waiting on a refund for 4 weeks now. I spoke with the manager that day who promised someone w
Great place for adults and kids. Bowling, games, food and drinks
100 STARS if I could! I recently booked the 'birthday event' for my birthday and Asia and her team went ABOVE and BEYOND to make the whole evening feel so catered to and special. Food was good, drinks were strong and delicious, bowling was great, Laser tag was SO much fun, and the arcade games were the cherry on top. My only regret was we didn't stay longer. I will absolutely return!! THANK YOU SO MUCH Bowlero, I HIGHLY recommend having your birthday here!
This Lucky Strike is in the best location on the water. It has such beautiful views and you can step out from the fun and chaos of arcades and bowling and take a calming break watching the waves. It's pretty awesome. Also, the people that work at this Lucky Strike are all fantastic and kind. We enjoyed playing arcades here. They have ski ball, air hockey, all the classics, but they also have Mario Kart, vr games, and newer games too. We look forward to going back. Thank you.
What a fabulous looking establishment! I loved the energy of this place as soon as I walked in! I was here doing of my son to participate in Paul Rudd's All-Star Bowling Benefit for SAY (Stuttering Association for the Youth), and the smiles were flowing from everywhere which was nice! My son loved the food! I see they have $30 bowl all day prices!
They do the best services at what they can do. Everyone happy to play the game.
Place was nice but staff at the check in/out counter was rude. The woman was very distracted when checking us in and when we checked out she charged us $120+ for 4 games for 2 people after we had told her we wanted the unlimited and she insisted we didn't say that. I will not be returning and would not recommend to others.
Great place to bring the kids or a date night, after work meet up or any casual gathering for some fun! The food is decent, typical bowling alley dishes of wings, fries, burgers, pizza and you can get bar drinks. There are plenty lanes available for fun. There is also a laser tag section and an arcade section. My kids and I had a blast! I hope to visit here again
came here last night and the place was a ghost town. We were a party of 6 and we went to bowl but the girl behind the desk refused to give us 2 lanes even though no one was on the lane next to us. She said we had to be a party of 8 to get 2 lanes. So 6 people bowled on one lane. This place is a joke. Literally anywhere else is better than here. Save your money.
Extremely Disappointing Arcade Service I visited Lucky Strike Chelsea Piers on 5/18 for a kids' birthday party around noon and had a very poor experience in the arcade area. The male staff member was exceptionally rude and lacked any customer service skills. When I requested assistance with issues on the air hockey table, he was unhelpful, deliberately moved slowly, and assisted other customers before addressing my concern. Upon reapproaching him, he responded with "I AM GOING" in a very dismissive manner.
Very nice place for celebrating birthday. The laser tag was the best. My son still talks about. There is a full bar on premises and many games. You can rent lines to play bowling.
Great customer service. The employees and manager were very helpful. I hope to have an Inform Your Community staff social here at some point. My family had a blast. We went when they were younger and then when they were in late teams and they still loved it. Bowling and tons of arcade game including my favorite.
Lovely time. Hated waiting around while so many lanes went unused because they were RESERVED. However, in most case the reservation were no-shows! But my group of over 15 had a great time after waiting over 2 hours!
First off, Jasmine and Desire were amazing. Jasmine blessed us. I accidentally booked it a week ahead and Jasmine took care of us and hooked up last minute. Gave us 2 lanes and had food already getting cooked on our bday celebration. Desire catered to our group, helping with drinks and whatever we needed. Both were so nice. Now, as of the experience, our kids had a ball. They definitely enjoyed themselves and asked when can we come back. We had 2 hrs of bowling and then played arcades. We definitely going b
We had an incredible time, bowling until we couldn't bowl anymore. The experience was fantastic, the food was delicious and satisfying, and my kids had a blast. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the place was impeccably maintained, clean, and spacious.
I've hosted a few birthday parties at Bowlero Chelsea Piers. This time we were guests, and the server who was assigned to the last party I hosted greeted me like I was her own family member. There's something so nice about these rare encounters. I don't know a mom who doesn't love and appreciate the ease and fluidity of the Bowlero birthday party. They do it all for you and if you bring your own balloons and decor, the staff will put it up for you at no additional expense. You really can't find a better
Loved the atmosphere and we were able to get a lane just by walking in. There was also great service. Our waitress kept checking in on us to make sure we didn't need anything.
Its not gourmet, but as far as bowling alley foods go, it will suffice. Price is Manhattan level, but nothing exorbitant. I brought my entire family and the experience was very good, our server was very friendly and the vibe is very good for families there to bowl and have fun. If you are a serious bowler, this is not the place, the floors was quite sticky and didn't have the proper cleanliness applied, you basically stuck to the lane on release.
Had my son?s 9th birthday party here and the team was amazing! Alison and Destiny were so attentive and took care of every detail. We've had kids parties at several spots in the city and this one is by far the best. The kids loved the laser tag. Food was good. Service was excellent.
We reserved 4 lanes for a birthday party. The pizza was great. However, the bathrooms needed to be serviced during my time there, which was a span of 3 hrs no one went to make sure the environment was clean. Drinks are watered down, and I had to ask our host several times for our game cards. I could understand if he was busy, but he wasn't, he was standing around having conversations with his co-workers. 1st and last time doing a kiddie party here.
Very harsh and terrible experience I would never recommend this place to anyone. It has harsh and unnecessary security is if it's a high end club. I'm so disappointed I would rate zero stars if I could. I travel so far to this place for nothing. I came all the way from Brooklyn to be apart of a birthday celebration. The family hosting the birthday celebration contained children ages 13-20. I am 20 years old and they wouldn't let me in because I came in after 9:00pm (9:18) without my ID. I understand that I
We celebrated my daughter's 45th Birthday there. We bowled, played in the arcade, eat, drank and were very merry. Great place!
Best bowling experience ever. If you have money and are looking to plan the best birthday party for your kid this is the place for you. Arcades galore, pool tables, even Lazer tag! And of course bowling. It's as if you're bowling at a club it's amazing. Try to go to the back room on the left it's a bit more private and has its own bathroom. They got some food options which are decent too. Lots of drinks available too at the bar. My one feedback is it's Hella expensive but try Groupon sometimes they git deal
Lots to do with birthday parties and kids running around everywhere. Very expensive to reserve billing lanes, but it is a fun time. Lazer tag is a fun event for kids of all ages and there are arcade games throughout.
Excellent experience with a reserved 2.5 hour lane, well-staffed even among a panoply of kids? parties. All clean and nice plus arcade was fun after. Food and drinks reasonable prices and they waitstaff the lanes so you don't have to wander for food.
Server complained about us sharing a drink that had NO ALCOHOL and said we couldnt do that because my friend didnt have an ID on him. But the Guzzler drink didnt have not one drop of alcohol. They simply shared a drink.
It was amazing. We just went there for bowlling with our friends to celebrate my Dughter's 7th birthday.. i was at first disheartened when I saw an event tax on the reservations.. but after arriving, I realized that we were provided with a host/event assistant "Brittany" she made the experience so relaxing and stress free. I brought my cake / supplies.. and she took care of the rest. Brought in the cake at the right point of our event. Then the kitchen staff cut and devided it amoung the guests. Thank you B
Decent lanes, expensive, but snazzy, obligatory shoes. Nice little arcade. Also nicely positioned to the pier 57, which is a lovely place for food and drink.
I brought in a Stanley with water. We are in NYC for vacation and since we are walking everywhere, we always have a thing of water on us. The waitress told me I'm not allowed to drink my own water. So, I ordered a glass of water. BUT, then she proceeded to stare at us and watch me like a hawk the ENTIRE TIME. We were going to order food and play more than 1 game, but the woman would not stop staring at us and it was extremely uncomfortable. So, we left after 1 game w/out ordering food or drinks. The bowlin
It's a nice place, you can definitely have a great time here. The food is good although the beer tasted a bit water-down.
I was taken to this place to celebrate my birthday and I can honestly say that I had so much fun. There were many bowling lanes, and the atmosphere was really exciting. After 8 PM, only 21+ can enter this place though. I never got to play on the arcades since it was close to closing time so I can't review how that experience was. But at the time I went here (10 PM on a Saturday night during July) it wasn't crowded at all. Neither was the bowling lanes but the place was lively and not dead. The food and drin
The place is great. However, service wasn't good except the bartender.
Recently had a large event there and it was great, very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was easy and efficient.
Just left. Brutal experience. Staff behind desk was rude. Barely acknowledged. Once acknowleded...ugh. It is a customer service industry...wake up. Need better training.
Birthday Girl in the pink with her friends they all had a fantastic time there. I must say we felt welcome since we got there, I too enjoyed everything I was pleased with the service which I planned on going back there this time it should be a ladies night outing.
Visiting NYC came for 2 hours of bowling. Check in was easy. They walk you to your lanes. Area is clean with a server. Full bar and a lot of pizza burgers chicken fingers you can order. Everyone was nice and we had fun. It's pricey but it's NYC!
The wait was almost an hour or so but worth it. The place has nice ambience with pretty lighting and welcomes family crowds with kids to enjoy. One of the few places in NYC where kids are welcome. They serve alcohol and snacks as well, good for office parties or in general any parties. Has some arcade games as well. There is a $5 fee for renting their shoes and u cannot not rent them no matter whatever shoes u are wearing. Sunday evenings are the cheapest as they have different prices on different days of t
Fun place. We came for the bowling and stayed for the video games. The waitress really knew how to serve refills on time, and was super friendly.
Fun, comfy, but the arcade games were honestly pretty pricey. Also the bowling was a bit pricey also, $12 per person per game plus $8 shoe rentals. $10 is equivalent to 24 arcade credits. Considering most games are 5-7 credits per person you can really only play one and a half multiplayer games for $10 which is wild. Overall though, it's a cool spot in a nice area of Chelsea Piers. Food, car, comfy bowling area seats, and entertainment. Even with the priciness it still gets 4 stars for me
I would say that the place is more of an arcade and or bar, space was indeed an issue like the booth of the lanes can't hold more then 4 people on each side. The pins are on strings. The lanes aren't that bad seeing I could use my bowling balls with little to no issue, the console for the bowling was very limited only allowed me to put bumpers up or to add someone not like a true bowling alley. But overall not bad.
Had a bowling birthday party for a 10 year old boy here and had great fun. The place is perfectly designed to host parties and does so very well. We had pizza and drinks and after bowling we had some fun in the arcade. Would only suggest to add more arcade games.
Very expensive but super fun. They have pretty good deals for most day of the week. Arcade is very expensive and not worth it.
Great fun for small, medium, large or XL. I was there fir a holiday party, it was Super fun, super well organized food was good service brilliant we where about 150 pp. if you looking for fun place this is it.
Celebrated my niece's 18th birthday here. The staff were friendly & efficient and the food was good. The place is tremendous besides bowling alleys there are video games, laser tag and a bar.
This place is a fun spot to go bowling. They have a full bar, and staff available at all times to order food. I actually appreciate the staff, they've always been attentive the times I've been there. Prices are affordable compared to Lucky Strike & Frames (which are also in Manhattan), but compared to the bowling alleys in Brooklyn it's definitely a bit higher. I would like to add a few bonuses from this place are they have plenty of arcade games available, and it is located at Chelsea Piers so there are
Awesome place...highly recommend to have a teen party. The host are top notch ??
Awesome place to play games and hangout with friends or coworkers. Always a good time.
It's been a while since the last time I've played here. It's still a fun and vibrant place to bowl but I just have two comments: (1) the service got slower compared back then so I'm not sure if they're understaffed since it wasn't that busy anyway, and (2) you might want to refurbish the floor since it's not that slippery for the shoes anymore. But overall, still good!
The worst experience. Do not come here without a reservation or you'll wait 3+ hours even if there's lanes open. Never coming back
Always have a great time, just the drinks are weak! But other than that the overall experience is amazing!
Had a great time bowling, I loved the arcades as well.
Very fun! Bowling staff was very organized, food was good, had a great time playing laser tag. The DJ was lit!
We went for the Behemoth Burger and split it three ways. Yes. About 3,400 calories per person in one meal, not very good for the body. Bowlmor has Laser Tag, A ropes course, and a full bar. It's generally a good place to have fun, but I think there's more to do in the Penn Station location.
Horrible customer service! The security at the door had a nasty attitude towards my sister and apparently thought they were protecting Fort Knox or something. Then the parking is ridiculous it's first come first served which is cool but if finding parking takes a few minutes and then you have to make your way to whatever space you are trying to get to if there is any missteps or anything else like not being able to be accommodated they have a 20 minute cap for parking or else they will try to charge you ful
Very trendy and humongous alley! Amazing music and very low prices. There's a full bar, arcade and table games on the ground floor. On the second floor is a lounge. Lighting and layout is very innovative.
Huge venue, but difficult to get into. Very odd entrance. They let us in early and we were the only people in there for a couple hours. The bowling was great. But the arcade games despite being half price were extortionate, pretty much $3 for one game of air hockey, and that was Half Price!
Such a fun environment. Soo much fun and excitement. Not a bowler but I was doing so well. Had so much fun. Celebrated a birthday. Drinks were good, food was ok. Vibe in the place was amazin. Had an amazin time will definitely be returning. Love the ambiance.
Was excited to be here. Other than the nostalgia of it being on the west side, the pricing is not worth it; well maybe NY pricing is okay. Was annoyed they charge $10 for guests not playing; which by the way due to limited seats, really have no where to sit. No food or alcohol served at the Bays. They have a restaurant first level but was not serving or staffed the Monday afternoon we were there. Eh, not sure I'll go back and really believe they don't care since people have no where else to go in the city.
Have been bowling here for years. Recently went to bowl for the Monday mayhem special and found out it was no longer a special they had. Now the ?special? is 3 games and a $10 arcade card for $40 including shoes. Arcade card doesn't help you can only play one game. The changes that have been implemented have not been for the better. First they took away the happy hour special which would allow you to get some drinks for $5.50. Then they brought up the price for the Monday mayhem from $26 to $32, now the Mo
Great bowling and very salty and uneven food. Staff was top notch. Well placed in the city and a great place for a group outing
Overall a nice experience other than blasting rap music. like too loud to think loud. just too damn loud. and choice of music is torture. Bowling was fun.
Loved the atmosphere, and the bartender was amazing. Had I remembered her name, I would've posted, but I have a weak short-term memory when it comes to proper nouns, ?? ??
Our server that night was awesome. We had a great time celebrating my families birthday
So awesome having a facility like this in the city. Great to take the kiddos and perfect for hosting birthday parties.

Loved the atmosphere!! Totally kid-friendly and such a vibe for good times ! Loved the arcade, laser tag, and obviously bowling ??
I visited this place the night of april 3rd for a friend's birthday. This place is super fun and to me the lanes seemed easy to bowl on. I'm a terrible bowler but I did well here. The food was good and girl at the shoe stand was super sweet and helpful. And the bartender was nice and helpful. The table service was terrible as was our waitress who seemingly didn't want to be there. We were given attitude, rolled eyes and tossed plates so that's why there are only 4 stars. You can find my full video review o
A great date night. Excellent service. Food was ok. Drinks were excellent as well. Ambiance was cool. Arcade was a bit pricey.
Great spot but the big burger is made with cheap ingredients not so good don't get fooled by the size of it after we started eating it was falling apart it made me nauseous never ever eating that nasty thing but the pizza is sooooi good a++++and if I come Sunday it says it's 6 games bs it's more expensive than ever woooow!!!
We(16 ppl) made a 2 hours reservation to celebrate my mother?s bday, a week prior to the event I was offered to order the food in advance, but I opted to order on site, so my guests would be free to order whatever they wanted to. We arrived 15-20 mins late, it took them forever to take our order order anything, and another forever for the food to arrive, our order didn't arrive probably 20 minutes before our time was up(sliders, wings, and nachos, nothing crazy.) BEFORE the food even arrived I was question
Good place to enjoy with family and friends The service was not so good but we enjoyed a birthday celebration
Amazing place and great drinks and customer service. Was part of a group from our job and it was awesome. Would do again!
i?ve never even given someone a review before this. the bowling was great and the service in person was fine. The only reason I am giving it 1 star is because of some rude, incompetent, sassy man who laughed at me over the phone when i was asking a simple question about their payments. THE NERVE of this person, bowlero should reconsider their staff because he was So rude. i mean so rude it felt like i was on impractical jokers. This guy should do standup because the whole convo was a joke. Thanks for NOTHIN
If you care remotely about a quality bowling experience do not come here. Pins on strings are frankly awful especially considering these lanes used to have normal pins. The lanes are too close together and the ball return gets in the way of bowling. Fine for a casual social gathering.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
