Lucky Strike Arlington

Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the venue's fun atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent customer service, particularly highlighting friendly staff and managers. Many enjoy the themed decor, arcade games, and good food/drinks, making it ideal for family outings or group events. However, several note high prices for bowling, food, and arcade credits. Some serious bowlers criticize lane conditions (dry, no oil, string pins) and cramped spacing. Service quality varies—while many report great experiences, others cite long wait times for food/drinks and disorganized systems. Overall, it's well-regarded for casual fun but less suitable for serious bowling.

Lucky Strike Arlington ? Fun Night Out! We went to Lucky Strike in Arlington, VA, and it was such a fun spot! The place has a cool, laid-back vibe with great lighting, music, and a mix of bowling and arcade games that kept us entertained the whole time. The bowling lanes were nice, and I loved that there were tons of games to play when we weren't bowling ? it felt like more than just a bowling alley. We also ordered food, and it was actually really good! We had wings, burgers, and a big pile of nachos ? eve

I can't say enough good things about this bowling and arcade center! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by how immaculately clean and well-organized everything was - from the bowling lanes to the arcade area. The staff here really sets this place apart. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive, but I have to give a special shoutout to Colleen, the event manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time, anticipating our needs and checking in regularly t

We had a great time at the bowling alley ? the atmosphere was fun, the lanes were well-maintained, and everything else ran smoothly. The only downside was the long wait for our food and drinks, and unfortunately, our waiter forgot part of our order. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience overall.

Such a fun spot! Went with a friend and had a great time playing games and competing with each other. It makes for a great date night or time with friends and family. You can earn prizes at the end depending on your tickets. I got to go home with a bag full of goodies. Definitely recommend going soon! Makes you feel like you're not in the city if you need a little getaway.

There's a lot of fun happening here. The food was good. Service was great. Has a large bar. Will definitely return.

Great arcade, ok bowling (definitely geared towards fun vs competitive). Servers are pretty attentive and the bowling is always the dark/glow style. Overall fun vibe!

Second time visiting this location. Great family fun! The food was really good. Our server Ty, was super sweet and she made an excellent Margarita!

Cute place was cute, but the wait time for after 8 pm is super long. Luckily, was able to eat and play until I was called to bowl, but by the time, I only played 3 games before closing Will try to just reserve it next time around.

I visited Lucky Stripes (formerly Bowlero) on a Saturday night around 9 p.m., and it was honestly a terrible experience. The front desk staff ? a Caucasian woman around 45?50 and an African American man around 40 ? were both rude and dismissive. They didn't explain how the bowling worked, didn't ask what we wanted, and just charged us for ?Unlimited Bowling? at nearly $80 without telling us what we were paying for. There were no signs or menus to show pricing or options, and when we asked questions, they a

From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were taken care of in the best way possible. The manager, Tony, stopped by to check on us to make sure everything was good with our visit. The food was good and the atmosphere was amazing. We will absolutely be back. I'm hoping to make it a Thursday night tradition :)

Place is fun. Food is ok - what I did not like about this place is $6 worth of ice (drink) and no refill on the sodas. Did not see this restriction on the menu. They just don't do refills. On top of this the online app adds 20% tip and you don't really have a server. I've been to other Bowleros in the area and the service was much better and felt happier paying the 20% on the bill. 3rd time coming. I think I will opt for other locations next time

Just don't t order any drinks!!! The drinks are trash. They don't offer refunds or exchanges. I Ordered a top shelf Long Island ice tea and it tasted like dish water and syrup. The manager said, ?we make it that way so that they ?sneak up? on you.? Yeah right, buddy. Bowling was cool. The music was inclusive. Would not recommend or return.

We recently visited Bowlero Crystal City with a group of six and had an absolute blast! The Groupon we purchased was a great way to save and made it easy to enjoy more of what they offer?from food to arcade games. The kids couldn't get enough of the arcade, and the energy of the whole place was just perfect for a fun day out. Service was a little slow, and there was a mix-up with the check where we were charged before seeing the bill. However, our server was quick to resolve it, which we really appreciated

My last visit here was for a work celebration for a coworker. As always the atmosphere was great. The food was good however still the drinks could've been a little stronger. But if you're looking for a place that is fun filled for everyone of all ages this is a nice place to come.

Bowling lanes are cool. The place is nice over all. The service is where we had the issue. It took about 45 minutes to get milkshakes and lemonade. Then the staff caught an attitude was us, when we repeatedly ask about our drinks. Other than that we had a pretty decent time.

This is my favorite place to bring my children and still be an adult. I've visited 4 times since last month, with yesterday being the last. My son and I went in on May 22, 2024 at 4:20pm with my Groupon voucher for two hours of bowling. The attendant at the desk (Caucasian, heavy set female) said that she could give us a lane but we would have to jump up at 6:20pm because she has a full house. First of all, I don't jump over puddles of water when it's raining and I'm not jumping up from a lane. I'll walk a

3/24: Aside from the GM Jordan and a great guy at the front desk, every single employee here was grumpy and acted like it was an inconvenience when asked to do their job. Lane management was abysmal - our original lane assignment was sharing space with a large family and when we asked to be moved so everyone had more space, they treated it like the end of the world, and eventually sent us to 2-3 other lanes that already had people on them. The server came by our lane ONE time and we never saw her again, hav

It's huge... Great for parties and great environment to take a break from life!

Had a great time! The wait on a Saturday night for a lane was only about an hour to an hour and a half. Not too bad, especially with so many fun arcade games! The prize station reminded me of childhood, and I was happy to get a couple of keepsakes to remember the night. I'd definitely go back! When they text you to tell you your lane is ready you only have 5 mins to get to the counter, so make sure you watch out for it.

Always a good time! Nice, clean and spacious. Multiple lanes. Walk-ins welcome but best to reserve for large parties. Good food and drinks. Good service. Gaming area for the kiddos that don't want to bowl. Parking on street (limited) and parking garage a block away. Check it out.

I had a blast here. I came here with some friends and family. The service was really well. Upon arrival we received immediate placement and we got to start ASAP. We started off bowling ?? and we were having a good time. We ordered food while playing and the food came fast and it was very good. After we were done bowling we spent a bit of time at the arcade and we were amazed at the variety of options they had. We spent most of our time at the hoop connect 4.(Can be seen in pictures below) The comfortability

Shame on me for not doing my research I guess. Paid $46 for 9 boneless wings and a small chicken club wrap. Bowling lanes seemingly had no oil and pins are attached to strings. Very much not worth $10.50 per person per game. Lastly, the stalls in the men?s bathroom all had faulty latches and doors would not shut. It was not a 0 star experience, though. Staff members were friendly and polite and the food was yummy despite the small portions. TLDR: Wayyyyyyy too expensive.

Myself and my wife were in town and decided to try and go bowling at this establishment and had a horrible experience. From the time we walked in with my service dog we were met with resistance from the staff at 9 pm on May 23rd we are avid bowlers and normally bowl in Columbus Ga at the bowlero and never have an issue with my service dog or her accessories. We were denied entry because we had my dogs water bottle and they have a no outside container policy, however the bowlero where we bowl all the tim

First time and I was not disappointed. Its a nice place to hang w friends and enjoy all that this place has to offer. The food was good along with the service.

Some of the best customer service I have ever had. We had nine people, five kids in four adults, and everyone was impressed with how that place was run and how great everything was. We got the package with bowling, arcade cards, and food. All great!

Came here with my 5yr old daughter and the staff and customer service was excellent from beginning to end! The food, games, and atmosphere was great! We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be coming back.

Need to staff the front desk better, they can end up busy with only one worker up there. Also, not sure how they track Lane closures and departures so sometimes it feels like you are waiting for one to open up and there are a bunch open. I believe some of them are reserved. Some affordable deals for recurring bowling, however, and an a friendly atmosphere.

Very expensive place to take kids. Fees are higher than the normal but it was a nice place to visit. Food prices are higher than the quantity giving. Basic menu. Plenty of games and spacious. Reserve your spot before you go if you desire a more intimate setting. That's extensive as well. Ticket prizes are nicer than most places like this. Overall we had a ball and enjoyed time with the kids.

Bowling is fun. But the DJ is jarring. They need to working on blending songs and beats per minute. They don't seem to do that at all - it just goes from one random song to the next without trying to blend (most of the time). And then half the time the DJ has shout outs where they turn off the music for half the venue and you just hear the shout outs. The other side of the venue is still loud as ever. They also ?don't take requests? but then they'll play 10 seconds of your request without blending into wha

As far as actually bowling the service sucked!! Majorly!!!! The only enjoyment was the games and the bar. We waited over 3 hours for them to not have contacted me about our turn to bowl! Very unorganized! Please find a new system because the text message system SUCKS!!!

It was fun, we had a great time!

This was my second time there, and I wasn't still pleased with the service. I had two drinks. The server wished I had gotten his name he had good service but needs help when large parties are involved like the other parties. So after my drinks, I needed to feed the liquor, so I tried the bar, I went to three different locations at the bar, but I never got served or any eye contact. so someone from my party told me to try the kiosk so my lane kiosk was broken so I tried another lane to order my food and it w

Service was absolutely terrible. I wouldn't come here ever again. We ordered boneless wings, an Oreo shake, and tenders and after an hour it never came out?? the manager Tasha and is disrespectful and doesn't have service skills at all. She never apologized for the service or even checked in with us not even while she handed us our refund for the food that never came. The only thing she said was ?whose change is this.? Please send her back to manager training ASAP! How are you mad we didn't get our food???

Had an awesome time with the family. Our waitress was awesome and very pleasant. The staff was cool for the most part and everything went smooth. No complaints

I recently went to last weekend , I had a really great time ! The management was really amazing. Especially Bobby. He kept us entertained and made majority of the time worth it. I will be back soon.

Amazing bowling. Service was fast and waitress was great. Food was delicious and the drinks were a hit. Atmosphere was amazing and even the arcade games were fun. Finding the entrance was a bit tricking it was our first time here so plan accordingly.

It was my first time at one of your locations. The facility was clean, including the bathroom. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Easy check-in process. The alum association provided drinks and soda plus water. The pizza was tasty. They offer parking at the parking lot down the street. I wasn't told in advance, and I parked in the adjacent building. It is convenient and well-lit. Thank you for letting my first alums event be fun and warm. I recommend your venue to others for corporate gatherings.

My wife and I had a horrible experience and to my wife?s review they gave a generic reply to make it appear that they want to make things right. Horrible customer service and illegal activity is allowed in front of establishment. Beware you need to go through a medal detector in order to come inside which confirms tolerated activity outside of their business. Beware in the fine print it says non refundable even though it doesn't note the sketchy and illegal activity allowed in front of establishment that yo

It's a modern bowling alley in an iffy night time area. You'll get plenty of the skunk smell outside the alley. The place was clean, staff friendly, but check in process left much to be desired for timing. Music was a bit loud and lights too crazy. Don't expect a nice quiet bowling experience, but do expect a disco bowling experience.

place is awesome and a manager toon really good care of us. Highly recommend this place

Honestly, everything is was perfect for the exception of one thing in particular and that was punctuality. 4 stars for 4 reasons 1. The person/waitress who was in charge of our lane that night was awesome! She replenished our food when it ran low. 2. The bowling alley itself is nice, kept, clean and nothing broken. 3. The food and drinks that came with booking an event was pretty good. We chose tenders, macaroni cheese bites and veggie egg rolls; all of them were really good. 4. The place was pretty bi

Came here and bowled one game. Loved that you can choose if each person wants the bumpers. Son used the bowling aid. The space in between lanes is minimal, especially if you need that bowling aid. It felt a little tight like we were invading our neighbors space. Drinks were decent. Son got the unlimited game card as one of the spring break specials, but it wasn't unlimited (2 hour time from when you swipe it) and you couldn't play any of the games that gave prizes like the claw games or earn tickets. We WER

Terribly slow service. It took forever for the bartenders to acknowledge me. However, bowling was fun, and the drink was strong when I finally received it. The service could definitely be improved.

Bowling is a great way to kill a few hours on a weekend when the weather outside is less than ideal. While I wish there was an old school local bowling alley around, Bowlero is pretty much the only option in this area without a decent drive. This place is definitely geared toward families and kids, with a giant arcade you have to walk through to get to the lanes (which I'm sure was strategic). The food was very reasonably priced and there were some good deals for weekdays available too. Our group of four o

This place is excellent for kids. Adults as well and one of the managers. Connie is super super awesome. We'll go out her way to make sure you are happy. My son's seventh birthday. That's very special, and this is a place you would want to take your children any day. NoteIt's best to take kids during the early day hours.

April 29, 2024 UPDATE Miss. Castellani reached out to me. She explained the future online reservations will be non refundable. I'm happy she gave me a refund. I'll remember this policy. Despite their policy, this is the best bowling alley by far!!!! April 27, 2024 UPDATE I attended Bowlero once in the past. I left a raving review. Friday, April 26th I made an online reservation for 3 people. $167.00. I find out Friday evening that 2 people in my party tested positive for Covid. I made several attempts to c

I actually had a really nice time until a waitress/server/busboy took my full alcoholic drink off the table while I was in bathroom and left the waters. Then when I told the server my drink was taken she told me her manager said it was nothing they can do. Sounds unbelievable right? So I asked to speak to the manager -Tony. He comes and advised he rewinded the camera and didn't see anyone take the drink but I can have a pass to bowl for free lol. I argued he should look again if he looked at all in the 1st

Had a great time with friends. Didn't like that we had to pay almost $70 to finish our game cause our time had ended. We spent alot on food and drinks continuously throughout so it should not have been a problem to finish out our game.

This is a very busy place. Lots of persons here enjoying the games, music and good times with friends. The group I was with did some bowling and we had a lot of fun.

Unbelievable prices, mediocre service. Paid $50 a person to bowl for a 90 min reservation, which by the time you get shoes for kids etc wasn't enough time. Lots of people standing around the front desk but not an efficient start even with the $16 reservation. They stopped the game when we had 5 min left on the clock and had one turn each left even though nobody came to the lane for 30 min. My friend had 2 sodas and it was $12. $40 fried food sampler... I'll be going back to old school pay by the game lanes.

If you have no bowling experience and just looking for a fun night with friends, this may be a good spot for you. But if you're really trying to bowl, just know the lanes don't seem to be oiled well, no dots for positioning, and of course it super dark.

I normally go to the one in Gaithersburg MD, this one the staff is very nonchalant. I was given a lane with a lot of water on floor and seats. It took 20 minutes to get assistance while I was waiting order draft beer costing more than a six pack $12 dollars. Arrive at my new lane and it had not been turned on. Another 10 wait, I then ordered , sent to server . No response although patrons that came after me got a lot of attention continued to be checked on. You would expect better service paying $70 for a

I wouldn't go back, the lanes were ok, never had a problem like when I go to Annandale, but service was slow, when we were heading out the people at the front seemed high and smelled like weed, I'm so sorry that's what I saw, my friend also los a wine key, that was supposed to get back when leaving, but never got it, if you dont mind the lanes breaking from time to time go to aannandale

Pretty dingy lanes and bathroom for how new it is, and our server got mad at us for using the iPad to order that says in big letters Order Here lol. Also pretty whack they ask for a tip with a 20% min suggestion at check out? Not to the server or bar, that's a separate check, but just to the check out counter??

Britany, Makiah, Piyus, and Tasha do a wonderful job with large groups. My group of 70 had a great time. My company was very happy. I highly recommend.

Always here, as its always clean and so many options. Their summer pass is awesome. A must! ++ We love Jordan at the front desk so much. My little one adores him!!

Bowlero is perfect for social events, date nights, bring kids and birthday parties. It is not great if you are a serious bowler. The lanes are dry, and the bowling machines malfunction often. The pins are connected to strings which is weird and a first for me. A couple of times, it would not let me bowl my second shot, and then you are not able to fix it yourself. The food and drinks were great. I will only come back for events or if I bring kids. I will stick with the classic AMF lanes and machinery.

First time here and I wasn't expecting such a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed the open layout and the expansive arcade area. I love how there's something to do for all age groups. Will be back again!

Not worth the prices. It looks better then it is. Nothing horrible but not for me. The front desk woman was very nice. And my service was nice too.

It's a nice place for family fun. You can eat, drink, bowl, and play games. Good for all ages.

Called before we came to see if there were any specials for my sons birthday. They have unlimited bowling for like 30 a person at 9 until close. We went and Alayna was out server.. OMG!!!! I am particular about my service and she was AMAZING! I really appreciate her demenor and style. I cant wait to go back and see her again!!! She made my son happy for his birthday and that made to even happier!

My eldest grandson celebrated his 14th birthday ?? with his family and classmates ????. The attendees enjoyed the food and the arcade. The hostess was friendly and gave attention to our needs. The kids had a blast especially with the bowling and so did I. I'm glad I went to support my family and would recommend the Arlington location.

A bit pricey but there is a lot packed into this place. Lots of arcade games! Lots of bowling lanes and all-you-can-bowl. A large selection of balls. Pretty decent ambiance. Yes it could be perfect - it's not - but definitely good enough for a good time

What an AWESOME addition to Crystal City! Delicious food, and tons of fun with bowling, an arcade to rival dave and busters, friendly staff, and overall great experience. They have specials through the week, from all you can bowl nights to half priced arcade on Wednesday. I was lucky enough to end up in here on their 2nd day since opening, and they were definitely keeping things clean and classy. Bowled a game, ate some delicious flatbread pizza, and drank a couple HUGE drafts... then moved on to the arcade

Lots of fun. But pro bowlers beware, the lanes arent oiled so you can't get the right ball action. My pal is a semi pro, his words, not mine.

Bowlero is the perfect place to have a birthday party for a teenager. My son and his friends had a great time. The food was delicious and Colleen was AMAZING! Katie who helped with the registration went over all the details with me. I highly recommend this place for any social gathering.

My family and I went to this amazing bowling center on Friday and we had such a great experience. The food and drinks were excellent and even though we had to wait we had an encounter with Israel one of the managers and he was awesome. He made sure our name was on the list and after a while he gave us some game cards which was so sweet. We played games for hours. Israel came over and got us when our lanes were ready. Our server was excellent as well. He was very attentive and made sure to cater to all of ou

Good food, & fun & interactive manager (Mo)

this was just a delightful visit. The AC was exquisite, while the food was just perfect. don't even get me started on the bowling and games, quite a lifetime. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our family time. The arcade Awesome!! An food was Great!!! An their customer service was absolutely wonderful...it was a magical happy night...we would definitely come again!! P.S. we got beat by our 4yr old son that why Dad was sooo upset ??

I give this location 5 stars strictly for service. Front desk staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I was able to get the approach to my lane cleaned because it was sticky. For bowling (3-stars): The approach was shorter than I'm accustomed to and the lane was "cramped". There are no position markers on the approach.

Best bowling alley I've ever been to! The manager went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name, but she was phenomenal. The alley was extremely clean and well-maintained. I loved the theming, too.

Great environment and delicious food. Kind of a hidden gem. 100% recommend.

This is a great place to wind down, my children enjoyed themselves and so did I. The staff is friendly and willing to help any way they can. All I can say is I love this location!!!!!

Took the Team out for a day of fun and everyone loved it! They were set up with our reserved lanes and food, everyone got their shoes smoothly and our waitress was ready if we needed anything. Had a great time!

Had to wait for 30 minutes for my order just to get another one at the end ! Food is not tasty Service and atmosphere was good tho

Moe is the greatest. Foods good, atmosphere is amazing and prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend this place!

Brand new location, definitely loved the ambient. The food is great and the drinks are okay ( good price, but the cocktails tasted like juices). We had to wait for an hour until we got a lane, so expect to wait unless you do a reservation or come when they are open.

$70 for 2 shots. We ordered a 2 double shots of tequila. 2 drinks, 4 if you count per shot but $70 is crazy! Everyone was nice. Our server was great, bartender I confirmed the price with was great, manager my husband double checked it was kind but $60 for bowling, $104 dollars for 2 drinks and a kids meal, and $30 in the arcade, equals NOT worth it!

Enjoyed my first visit to Bowlero for a staff outing. Overall it was clean and inviting. There were plenty of lanes and a large arcade. Staff were attentive even with our large party. The taco bar that was prepared for us was surprisingly good ? the beef was a crowd fav. They served hard and soft tacos, chicken, beef, rice, beans, and all the fixings. The only reason I couldn't give them a 5 was the notable maintenance issues. There were rips in the vinyl on several bowling lane booths. There was also a la

The entire team on site last night (10/6/2024) was exceptional. Honestly hard to believe this venue is owned by Bowlero. TLDR: we hosted an unofficial gathering yesterday and let's just say we made it a little confusing and needlessly complicated lol - def not ideal customers (though we did understand the issue & know better for next time, promise!!) When I entered, I was greeted so kindly I was almost caught off guard - not the case at other Bowlero venues I've been to. I also overheard a manager talking

Should have read reviews before I went here. Was looking for a better experience that Buffalo Wild Wings around the corner, but didn't find it. Sat at bar for 10 min before bartender noticed me - she was busy talking to her friends, taking selfies (see picture I posted). Food was about the same as BWW, swear they must share a kitchen. Fun place for games, tons of options. Like a Chuck E. Cheese for 20 yr olds.

Super fun experience! We bought a Groupon but they also had unlimited bowling and games! Very clean, the desk operator was very friendly and the food was good! It's really nice inside and all of the games worked! Great date night or family outing! They had a large bar too! Best bowling experience I've ever had!

Has a great variety of arcade games and friendly staff.

Do not reserve online if someone can't make it they will tell you you can get reimbursed when you first enter then a manager will come over and say they can't because it in a contract that you should have received in your email that I never received but it fault of the customer and they do not care

It's a great place, themed very well. But it is very expensive not only because of the DC prices for the food(which is good) but to use the arcade you need credits. It's 20 dollars for 40 credits most games are 3-5 credits but the games can get up to 15 credits.

Be aware. Make sure to get a reservation before 8, at 8 you can get unlimited bowling for 28.99. We ended up playing arcade games and then ordering some food. The food took a while because it was very busy.

Good drinks, good atmosphere, good music. Surprisingly not crowded for a Saturday.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
