Atlantic City, New Jersey 08401
Huge arcade with a lot to do for kids. There is go-karts, bowling, mini golf, and a lot of games, from the newest stuff to old-school classics. It's a great place to hang out for a few hours, especially if you're with family. A few games weren't working, but most of it was running and there's more than enough to keep everyone busy. Definitely worth checking out if you're at Showboat.
I'm glad I purchased a Groupon to for the Go-Kart Racing. If I would have paid full price for this activity I would be even more upset. Let's start at the beginning. I've never been to an activity that was so unorganized. There was a line for both to purchase tickets or to redeem the Groupon. I had my Groupon and stood in line for over 30 minutes. The staff were really friend and helpful which is the only reason why I even gave it one star. The Groupon does not include the head gear needed and i
It's hard to understand that this casino is said to be super kid friendly, yet you can tell that it's been left in the late 70s. The interior design is so ugly, stale and dingy, not to mention the air quality is not great for kids at all. It's very evident that the owners simply lined the walls with claw machines and occasionally tossed a new arcade game in the mix. A lot of giant space was closed off with gates. It was decorated for Christmas when we visited in mid May and the bathroom attendant stood on h
I had a blast tonight. Michele was a kind employee at the arcade and made my night. There's a game for everybody and every age. Just go and have fun as a family.
They have classic pinball machines! The type that you have to pull the lever to launch the metal ball and mechanical buttons for the arms. At the time of visit 12/16/24, each play is 10 credits.
Super fun arcade for kids But they only had 1 person working to cash in points! Took forever and there was a long line until we were finished ! Felt bad! Other than that we had a blast and the pricing is reasonable for 2025
As a father traveling to Atlantic City with a son, I can tell you right now that this is a lifesaver. Your kid will be entertained. I gave it four stars because one of the air hockey tables wasn't working, but there was no sign so it took our money. Thankfully, the staff was nice to reimburse us. I know it's fairly new, but it could also use a little bit of cleaning. Some of the machines are really dusty and there's garbage all over the place, especially towards the entrance. However, despite those little t
They have a skating rink here. Sign says ?Open? but no attendant. 3 days/nights in a row!!! At all different times. I guess the hours of operation are not for all attractions. Very disappointed.
Don't play "claw games or cut the rope" 100% rigged not to win, go for fun to play games, but not to win anything
We visited while staying at Showboat for two nights and going to the attached waterpark. The arcade was great! So many game options and multiples of a lot of games. We enjoyed playing mini golf twice too. The prize area to redeem tickets was pretty good but more candy type options for smaller amounts would be good. We didn't do the go karts but looked really fun! The pinball gallery was cool too! Overall id recommend the arcade for families visiting the area.
Race track was super cool and the games were fun. Two, nine and thirty year old had a blast! ?Free fifteen minute play? is free BUT the select games are scattered throughout the arcade and a little hard to find.
Sooo many options of games and even go karts. Great variety and mostly fair priced. But it is way too warm in there. Going into summer you would think it would be cooler in there. I would try again in the future and pray it's air conditioned.
It's refreshing to witness Showboat's efforts in transforming into a more family-friendly destination, and the Snake Arcade is a testament to this positive change. This expansive arcade, accompanied by a thrilling go-cart experience, is a game-changer for family entertainment. The arcade offers a Groupon deal priced between $17 to $20 for 300 credits, where most games require 10 credits, though some might need more. The wide variety of games ensures that $20 can easily stretch to nearly 2 hours of fun, esp
We had a lot of fun. We purchased a groupon for one hour of game play for about thirty dollars. A nice diversion from gambling and some cool retro games from the 80's
Came here with my kids, I purchased 2 $100 cards so my kids will enjoy this arcade Saturday night but we got disappointed a lot of machines are not working at all and those got broken is never fixed we waited for someone and look around to help us but unfortunately no one is there to help, the arcade is huge but no staff is available to help out, the prices is not that good also.i should just purchase the none points game card instead we wasted so much $
32 pinball machines and only 6 actually work. I have never seen Pinball machines so poorly maintained and in such disarray in my entire life. ?? Back in the day, we used to say that Showboat was the casino that old people went to die. Now it's a pinball graveyard. ?? But just in case they actually do here you go guy, here's the 99 problems I found in 10 minutes. ?? - JP Lost World has a DMD Issue - Star Wars episode one has a malfunctioned light saber. - Street Fighter 2, Data East JP, Austin Powers, Sou
the friendliest staff around.. such a good crew. the games are awesome the go carts incredible. they have pool tables pinball machined as well as retro games.. all the way up to 2024 new games. such a beautiful site to be hold
The arcade was chaotic on a Wednesday with the kids off of school. Many machines took our credits but did not work. Only one tech fixed the machine but did not offer any credits. Only one person working the claim desk? The line is 40 deep and I'm waiting 25 minutes and still counting. Waaaaaay understaffed. Update: Took my family 55 minutes to reach the redemption desk. Not easy with two little kids. We asked the girl if she had any help but she suggested it was her first day and it was just her. Crazy to
We went in August for my daughter's birthday because we were staying at Ocean and she wanted to go skating. Prices were great, staff was super friendly and my kids had a great time! Can't wait to go back!
We went here because my daughter loves claw machines and they have a ton! Guess what?! None of them worked! The ones that did work, the ?claw? did not even close. What a joke. Next time we will go to Dave and Busters around the corner. We then waited 30 minutes in line to collect our prizes because they literally had ONE person working. My loss, your gain. Save your money and don't come here!
My fiance and I ventured here one afternoon and we had a good time! We came for the mini golf but did also end up playing some of the arcade games. We were a little confused at first because we weren't sure where to get our balls and clubs. We went over to the roller rink next to the mini golf and an employee told us we have to get our balls out of a vending machine and in order to do that we had to buy a gaming card. Once we got the balls we had to go back over to the roller rink to receive our clubs. Coul
This is the latest edition to the Atlantic City boardwalk! The biggest arcade in the east, tons of arcade games, ticket games. Lucky Snake has all the nostalgic arcade racing games from back in the day. Tons of new games as well, really worth it prizes to choose from. This huge arcade has been recreated from what used to be a casino! Lucky snake also has go cart racing, bowling, mini golf, and party rooms that can be rented out. They're are restaurants located within the building, that is connected to the S
We had my sons 12th Birthday party at The Lucky Snake. He told us it was his best birthday EVER. The employees were so nice and very helpful. The kids all had so much fun.
Really enjoyed Valentines Day 2024 with my wife.Plyed pinball, air hockey plus numerous other games. We also did RACEWAY karts.HAD A BLAST!!
What a difference in just year! This arcade is so cool! A little pricey but they have a nice selection of new games and pin ball! The indoor go-kart track it extremely expensive $24.99 for just one race is definitely not worth the price! Can't wait to see the finished water park next summer tho when we return to Atlantic City!!
This place is great for the entire family. There is so much to do! Go cart race track, mini golf, bowling, air hockey and more! Credits are added to a card, and is easily reloadable at the kiosk.
This place is a welcoming change from the smokey casinos in the other hotels. Plenty of games to choose from. From the latest pinball machines to retro arcade games to skill games for kids, it has it all. Even bigger co-op games to play with friends. I've seen some complaints about the price of games but I got a $5 card and was able to entertain myself for over a half hour playing pinball games. I walked in from the boardwalk side and the place was big but never really noticed any employees or could tell ma
It's kid friendly!! We had so much fun!! Arcade games, go cart track, mini golf course, bowling alley, axe throwing, a jumbo gumball machine and so much more! Plus it is located on the boardwalk with a stunning view!
We love taking our children there whenever we're in Atlantic City. We love playing the different claw games and there's games for all ages. Our children are toddlers and they enjoy the games age-specific for them. Great time for adults and kids alike!
We stumbled upon this place once, and then made sure to come back. It's a great place for kids as well as adults. The mini golf is super cute and the arcade games are all pretty fun too.
Ok so I am very conflicted here. I was a moderate gambler here about 15 years ago. I had my own host, and all that jazz. Seeing this turn into an arcade...well...hell yeah...i was able to reminisce with my kids and tell stories....while the old resemblance was there...I was able to spend quality time with my kids, and revisit some childhood memories....great place...yes we dropped allot of money here lol...but...the memories are priceless.
While walking the boardwalk me and my fiance decided to stop by showboat to see whats new. As soon as we entered we noticed the lucky snake arcade. An amazing little experience. I was blown away by all the retro arcade games available. A huge pinball section, and of course more up to date machines for the kids. Air hockey and soon to come go karts. If you are in the area you should definitely stop in.
This place is awesome Derrick was awesome explaining everything to us. I love it and I hope it is there for a long time my family and I don't like to gamble we love a game room like this. It's a lot like IPLAY with the gaming. Derrick also told us there planning on a water park. I think it will be outside I was hoping it would be inside but think it will be outside. There is a mini golf that is cool. The wizard of OZ and old school games it's an awesome game area for everyone. Definitely will be going back
I can honestly say I'm not mad about all the changes that happened to the showboat over the years. Finally kids have something fun to do here! The arcade is huge and looks like a ton of fun. I'm just here for the hotel itself, but I plan on trying some of those seemingly impossible claw games later on tonight. Regardless if you win or lose, it looks like a ton of fun! Very spacious as well! *I'm a virtual claw game app fanatic (where my blue ball is from In all the photos), so the reality of seeing these g
Great place to have fun for all ages! Very similar to Dave and Busters... The Lucky Snake has a lot more games, mini bowling, mini golf, a boxing ring and a PC gaming lounge. Plus, of course there's a lounge and bars! I would definitely recommend going trying it out.
It's definitely the largest arcade I have ever experienced. I guess it is what to make out of an old casino when you don't want to actually remodel it. Didn't get to experience the water park, which I was told is the best attraction.
Great place. Got Go Karts, Got shooting basketball games, Has games for all, Love the fact they embrace nostalgic pinball machines along with the latest video games for all walks of life and various ages.
Lucky Snake is a huge arena of games, mini-golf, a race track, climbing wall, etc. When we walked in we were greeted warmly. My family and I got to meet Nikki and she is wonderful. Very professional. She had great suggestions for our family. Ms. Michele was also wonderful and kind. The comradely here at Lucky Snake is palpable. Everyone seems to get along like a close family. Our son had a great time playing games and towards the end of the night got a few nice prizes with his tickets, with Eric Williams an
DO NOT PURCHASE GROUPON FOR ARCADES!!!! Not worth it at all! Half of the machines do not apply and you do not get any tickets to exchange for the prizes. Waste of time and money. The arcade is small, idk who the hell said it was the biggest arcade, it's a joke.
I discovered this place while looking at fun things to do for the family during our recent trip to AC. I saw many other reviewers describing it as a larger Dave & Busters, which for the most part is accurate. We ended up going twice, once during the day and again at night during the middle of the week. This place is part of the ShowBoat casino. Once you enter off the boardwalk, there is a bar area in the front alongwith some seating and a stage, which is used for Karaoke later in the evening. IN that area t
Tourist trap, dive, a money grab is just a few things about this place that are good. Arcade prices are outrageous. Most machines are rigged to loose or broken. Pinball and classic games here are set on high difficulties
Race your way over to the Lucky ?? Located @ showboat FUN for the entire family We love the variety of arcade games ??? & prizes Speed your way to victory on their Go-carts ?? Highly recommended by Sugar Posh ?? Thank you AC Mike for the recommendation! The staff was very friendly! A big shout out to Dennis, the general manager of the Lucky snake ??
I Really Enjoy Karaoke Night With Big Al On Saturdays & DJ Tony's On Wednesdays. Celebrity Boxing Night Has Given A New Spin On Spectator Events. Atmosphere Is Always An Ascending Plateau. New Concepts, Acts And Attractions Will Hopefully Keep Showboat AFloat. Diversity And Equal Opportunities For All Business Partnerships Is The KEY!!!!
Don't waste your time. Half of the games were out of order or straight up weren't even turned on. The first game I played ate my money. We weren't able to play any of the games that we wanted to, except for Skee-ball. What's even more surprising is that we went on a Saturday night. What a bummer.
Really cool arcade, great for kids and teens, and family in general. I highly recommend because the prizes here are INSANE. Like you could win the average things like a yo-yo and toys but then there were items like a PS5, a motorcycle, a grill, and even Louis Vuitton stuff. This place is really good for grinding point and getting big payouts. It uses card not tokens, and all the points are saved into a single card. The games also use credits and most games are about 10 credits, with the highest I saw being
Love how big the arcade is and how many different games you can chose from. So much to do a great addition to Atlantic city. We are local and love it here.
Kids loved it! Great for late night family fun and balance of kid and family activities. We definitely will be back again to try the indoor water park and race track. I was impressed with the cost of the games. Definitely worth it and great bang for your buck.
Wonderful experience with my family a few weeks back. Arcade is kept in great condition, clean and machines working well. Visiting the arcade felt like a step back in time. Definitely worth visiting
The experience was okay but the games were giving error codes after my kids playing. They were packed and extremely under staffed. The staff was getting it done but we were in line to trade our tickets in for about 45 minutes.
EVERY KIDS DREAM BIRTHDAY PARTY! Just wanted to start off with that if you were on the fence of booking this place for your kid?s birthday. 1st off they have a PARTY HOST waiting for you when you arrive to take you to a PARTY ROOM aKa an amazing private lounge for your guests. I was fortunate enough to have ?The Michelles? as I called them all night as hosts. Adorable, helpful pair. They were there for my EVERY need. ESPECIALLY because I had arrived at the time of our party because of a huge accident and I
The good, bad and ugly of this place is that it's super convenient if you're staying in the showboat. It's in the hotel lobby. It is expensive and the race go kart staff is not friendly at all. Hidden cost when riding go-karts include paying for a scarf ,$4, must have close toed shoes and height and age requirements. They also require you to create an account which includes your private information in order to sign a waiver. You cannot opt out of creating an account nor the scarf if you want to ride. No sig
Fun for all ages. Hi speed racing. Not for the faint at heart. Great activities for the adult kids as well as the children.
My family and I always have a good time at Lucky Snake. Excellent selection of games for the entire family, including a gaming room for computer gaming. There's also special old-school arcades like the pinball machines. Can't forget about the air hockey, basketball, skeeball machines. So much fun! We are happy Atlantic City has a place like this for kids and grown-ups to enjoy. The space is clean and the staff was very helpful! Highly recommended!
When I travel to Atlantic City this place is a must. The have all your game needs. Pinball machines galore with all your carnival favorites. Pool tables bowling alley and go kart track. You'll be there for awhile tiring yourself out as an adult and of course the kids lol..
Horrible, they don't even let you full speed for 80% of the race. Expensive and absolutely unworth it
End of Summer gone wrong... This was my son's first experience with the karts. Tried to make it memorable and decided to purchase the headgear cam to remember the moment... I asked for the copy at the end of his ride and got the run around, then the attitude for asking, and the kicker...They forgot to give it to him after they asked for the receipt and checked him in and when I asked for the refund they said they don't refund (even though it was their error). And PLEASE don't buy on line for the promotion
I just went there and enjoyed for 3 hrs. It was great! safe and clean. New. big. Definable we will revisit.
Stopped at the arcade after visiting the waterpark. Tons of options and all the games were functioning. Kids had a great time and can't wait to go back!
This arcade was awesome! Super fun for kids. $50 = 600 credits you put on card. Games range from 10-50 credits for the most part. The prize center is in back by the pinball machines. Fun first time there!
My host was Skateboard, he was amazing! He was super attentive, friendly, great personality, everything was on point. My son was celebrating his 8th birthday and Skateboard made sure that everything we needed was perfect.
The place was filthy, and nearly half of the games were out of order. Some staff members appeared to be under the influence while working, and shockingly, a stabbing incident occurred right after we left. If I could give zero stars, I would. Never going back.
Stop in and check it out they've done a great job making a kid/adult friendly place in atlantic city. The indoor go kart track is awesome. Highly recommend giving them a try.
This is a great arcade! We came to showboat to stay at the hotel not even knowing about it and we had so much fun at this arcade. They have like every game you can think of and a pinball room.
This is a preview before it opens the grand opening will be this Saturday this Saturday May 15th everything will be set up then including the boxing ring which I did not get a picture of the bars and restaurants will be fully open and after that I will give a new review
We do arcades a lot. The game selection is great. Value for the dollar was not! With the amount of money we spent, jackpots, and tickets we won, we didn't get the equivalent amount of redemption points we do at other arcades. It was 1/5th of what we normally pull playing the same games, spending less at other arcades. This includes places like the Great Wolf Lodge (GWL)and Dave & Busters (D&B). We were close to 10,000 redemption points here when we are over 50k at the other locations. The prizes at prize r
Go Karting here is short and expensive. 7 laps is all you get while other places in New Jersey you get 18 laps for a cheaper price. Laps are 22-26 seconds depending on their throttle limiting. Driver's 18 years or older can ask for them to turn off throttle limiting to have a real race but if there are folks under 18, they have to throttle limit for protection. When they throttle limit, you can have your foot on the gas the entire time and make every single corner on this short track. Lap times for thrott
Could have been nice if so many of their newer games weren't broken and remained unfixed. If this is the whole point of your new facility keeping the games running would probably be a good idea.
This place is absolutely awful! The miniature golf is pitiful. The crane machines don't let you win any stuffed animals. Spent close to $100 on crane machines because my 3 year old really wanted a stuffed animal and nothing. My toddler left crying saying she never wanted to go back. They should provide a better experience if they really care about business.
My babies and I, had so much fun ! I love good old-fashioned arcade and the lucky snake got skate is good old-fashioned arcade. My grandchildren I had so much fun I play air hockey with my grandson something I hadn't done in years it was the best. If you're in Atlantic City go to the lucky snake arcade and have some good old-fashioned fun!
Harrison at the snake arcade was extremely attentive to our needs and got them done at a timely manner. He was very friendly to our questions.
Lucky Snake is for all ages there are so many activities and games, the go kart racing was super fun and a must try. Between myself and my fiance I added 100 to a game card and we played over 30 games and will save our points for next go around.
We visited Atlantic City for the first time in mid-September. We were shocked to find that, despite the great weather, the board walk pretty much shuts down after labor day. But you know what the best part of having ATLC to yourself is? Being the only people in the Lucky Snake arcade! We had so much fun going from game to game pretending to be kids again. We competed in pacman, pinball, and pretty much every other game in the place. Then we bought skittles and frisbees with our winning tickets. We had so
Lucky Snake is a must-visit in Atlantic City! The retro games were a hit, and the whole vibe was so much fun. Great for all ages!
My kids had an amazing time at this arcade. Any issue we had was resolved quickly. The staff were super friendly. ?? I'm so happy we chose to treat the kids to some arcade games!
Specifically came here to play pinball. Good selection of machines, and at 10 credits a play I feel like the value was good. The real downside was that a good chunk of the pinball machines, like 1 in every 5, was either off, malfunctioning, or just had some other part of it that was broken or missing. The pinball room was completely deserted the whole time I was there, so I imagine it's not a high priority. I still had a good time playing, but the machines could definitely use a little attention and care.
If your children are not old enough to gamble they can play games for ticket's.The tickets are used for prizes.Play mini golf with the family or try some mini bowling.Adult's can relax at the sports bar while the children spend all your money on the arcade games.Lucky Snake arcade is located inside the Showboat right off the Atlantic City Boardwalk And Beach in Atlantic City,New Jersey.
This is a great arcade! The variety of games is outstanding. Excellent for all ages and it's big. Even has mini golf. My son absolutely loved it the 2 days we went! Now where you redeem your tickets is crazy amazing (tickets on the card never expire btw). The choices are like nothing you've ever seen before at an arcade! We can't wait to visit again. A++++ highly recommended!!!!
I don't know who enjoy Lucky Snake the most...my 9 year old or myself? They have it all from virtual reality, a top of the line gaming room...to my favorite...pin ball machines?? Oh, i can't forget the miniature indoor golf course, to to challenge your patience.
Huge variety of different games scattered throughout the place. Got lost trying to find the exit :) The racetrack was cool and the zombie 4D ride was awesome! I had a great evening here! I like how close it is to Hard Rock and Steel Pier.
This is definitely was one of my highlights during my trip. This is a really fun place to hang out, especially if your are travelling with teenagers who are into gaming. Me and my son spent a great afternoon there as it's really a nice place!
The arcade was nice but we went for the raceway and it was a terrible experience. It took us a full 2 hrs to race, and it was only 11:30am Thursday morning so it wasn't busy at all. The waiver sign up was horrendous, the system is terrible and would constantly crash on our phone and only 1 kiosk was working. There were 4 staff on site and it seemed either understaffed or they weren't trained properly because it took way too long for them to end one race and start the next. I would say that all the staff wer
As many others have said, so many machines are broken. They either take your credit and not work, or don't work how they are supposed to. Some have the decency to at least post they are broken so you don't waste your money. There wasn't a lot of staff and staff seemed overwhelmed. This is a great idea, but it's awful execution and feels extremely rushed. Most positive thing: they are pet friendly!! This was awesome exposure training for my dog and I loved it. Once they work out the kinks, I would definitel
Decent size indoor track! Arcade was fun...the designer games were a added bonus!! Definitely almost impossible to win but super fun to try ! The old school pin balls were great ?? we were there on the grand opening of the track and received free t shirts, game cards, drinks and popcorn! Some machines were down, but not many!
Huge selection of games and very spacious. Fair pricing however my only complaint is the prize selection is tiny. We had to really search for something.
So much fun! Famipy had a blast!
We come here everytime we go to Atlantic City. Best arcade in jersey hands down. Plenty of games for kids of all ages. I have boys and girls, and my wife is a big kid and loves this place. Very clean. And most importantly to me as a father it's very safe. Definitely come and check it out when your getting smoked at the tables or slots haha. Darren and the rest of the staff are Aces.
Lots of cool things to do from roller skating, go-carting, a room with classic arcade games, and then a floor with games for all ages. Clean, quiet bathrooms. Sometimes an attendant is hard to find but usually they are helpful. I've come here with and without a Groupon. Both Options are good. The hotel that it's in doesn't seem to have food or anything else that isn't shut down. I could?ve sworn there was a bar on the arcade level but they recently moved things around so now I'm not so sure. This place is r
This place was great. Alantic city needed more kid, teen friendly places. It remind's me of a small Dave and busters. There's a snack area which was a plus. Also connected to the arcade was a surf bar which was prefect for adult frozen drinks. There also have a computer gaming area which allows the kids to sign on the PC and play their games online. It's 100 points for the hour which is equivalent to $10. I forgot to take more pics. This was definitely a family fun place.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
