Fantastic service!!! Well, what can I say, Barney is one of the last few people who have the proven skill and talent to work on these machines from the golden age of video gaming. While I consider myself pretty handy and have the ability to learn just about anything, sometimes it is best to leave things to the experts to ensure that things are done correctly and boy am I glad that I did. Barney went above and beyond in helping me optimize a cabinet that I purchased and could have easily completed the task
Barney is very knowledgeable on pinball machines, older & newer electronics. He has fixed several electronics for me. I have also purchased a Sony cd player from him that I have owned for years and works perfect. His prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Lucas Electronic Repair.
Wow!! A true professional! Barney knows his machines so throughly expert repair work. After repair and cleaning the machine plays and looks brand new. I really appreciate his service work. If you're in need of repairs he is your choice
AWESOME! Barney worked on my Ultimate Arcade 2 machine , Guns and Roses Pinball , Data East Simpsons and Gottlieb Spiderman pinball Fixed everyone within 2 hours! Barney knows his stuff! Great SERVICE Great GUY! THANKS!!! A+++
Mr. Lucas repaired our Ms. Pac-Man that lost the red in the screen. Brought it up to him at his house and he had it fixed in about an hour. Very friendly guy and knows arcade games inside and out. Would definitely recommend Mr. Lucas to anyone needing work done on your arcade games!
Mr.Lucas is a life saver! He came out on a Sunday to help me get the arcade working for my son's graduation celebration. He even took the time to do a refresher on my smaller arcarde model. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very very kind and helpful. That may sound corny but his kindness meant just as much to me as his skills. I highly recommend this business.
Exceptional service. Called on a Saturday and was able to bring my tennis ball machine with a bad board to him. He fixed it while I was standing there talking with him even though he'd never worked on one before. He knows his stuff!
Barney knows his stuff as he's a student of the business. He loves his trade and interacting with his customers. Good guy and does great work.
I can't say enough good things about their service. Barney came to my house and brought my monitor to life, it looks amazing. I highly recommend their service!
Excellent repair service on classic arcade and pinball Barney is the guru of repair and game tech on arcades. Thanks.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
