This was so much fun! I brought family from out of town and my daughter and her family met us for a bit so the kids could play until 9pm. We went on Monday which they have all you can play for $8!!! They have a great selection of beer and a food truck outside. Very reasonable prices for everything! Will definitely be going back.
We stopped in early (when they open @ 4:00) and had a great time rediscovering old favorites - like Air Hockey! -& playing unique pinball machines! I like that the place isn't too big and loud like some other franchised places. This is locally owned and super clean. There are hand sanitizer and wipes galore. I can't wait to go back for one of their events!
Lowry parcade was awesome. The owner is a great guy and is truly passionate about what he does. I came in to check out the place, and there was a pinball tournament going on, and he was playing in it. The games were in good condition, and the arcade had incredible painting everywhere. If you were hungry, there was a food truck outside.
Lowry Parcade is a wonderful spot for gaming, craft beer, and food truck bites! My husband and I enjoy playing classic games we know and love (Frogger, Smash, and allll the pinball machines) and discovering new favorites (Tapper is ridiculously fun). Unlimited Credits Night is one of the best ways to enjoy Parcade, but don't miss out on their other events. Whether you're looking for a fun date night idea or want to spend time with friends, Parcade is the place to go! This is in no way sponsored. My husban
A fun little place to grab a drink, hang out and play some retro video games. The atmosphere was chill and very fun. I had a great tasting beer with good company and had a great time. Definitely worth a stop to just grab a drink even if you don't want to play some of the older games. Just a fun vibe.
Our bartender was super cool and explained the menu, new game arrivals plus popular arcade games. They just PUT DDR (dance dance revolution) !! You can put your game tokens on the tabl, or pay cash for the tokens at the machine. Playing Mario kart behind the bar was also super clutch! Prices were also very reasonable. Def coming back soon!
Offers a large variety of craft beers and some canned sodas. Would like to see even a very limited, mixed drink selection as I don't drink beer. Good selection of arcade style games, video, air hockey, pinball, dance, and skeeball. Went for their cosplay night and made a new friend. Will go again!
Best place to hang and not be crazy loud. Games are fun and staff is very sweet and knowledgeable. Food truck is amazing and very cheap.
A good mix of classic arcade games with some new ones mixed in. Lots of pinball, which is my favorite. When we went they also had a food truck outside which complemented the fun and drinks inside very well. We had a really good time here with some great friends.
This is one of my FAVORITE places in Tampa! The staff is SO friendly. Cassie was super helpful even when I asked five hundred questions. I recommend the Elderberry Cider because it was DELICIOUS. A few of the pinball machines were out of service but that didn't matter because they have SO many games! On Monday they have $5 unlimited game play which was awesome and I love their addition of the food truck outside. 100/10 a great time
Awesome experience with my friends! The staff was friendly and nice. All the games were in good condition and clean. The beer was cold and tasty! Thank you for an awesome night!
Best place in Tampa! I always feel comfortable and happy at the parcade. They always rotate and change their games so I'm never bored. Their drink selection is also awesome, it's the only place in the area where I can get good mead on tap. Best place ever.
Fun barcade with decent drink menu. It was lively when we came, and they have unlimited games with $5 cover on Mondays. The space is a bit small so there's not as much variety in game selection as I'd like. The ambiance is enjoyable, I would love to see some themed decor though! They have at least a couple each of the standard types of arcade games (ie. a couple shooters, a couple racing games, a bunch of pinball machines, etc.; check their website for a full list). I discovered a couple games I never knew
Very cool place for hanging out. Huge variety of beers that alternate. Cool atmosphere, plenty of retro games and pinball games. As well as ample outdoor seating. Food vendors on select days. And plenty of events during the week. Dj nights on the weekends and all you can play video games typically on mondays with a wrist band that's only a couple of bucks. Will update with pictures as I go more.
Love this place. However we just went there to have fun evening with the family. Drove 20 minutes only to find out that it was closed due to a private event. No mention of this on their calendar on their website. Disappointed!!
Literally the most wonderful bar on Earth. Friendly, neighborly, cheaply priced quality beer from FL and beyond. Their food truck is also great!
We wanted to go somewhere to drink and play games. Well this was by far the best arcade bar in the area for as drink selection and old school games. The games are reasonably priced which is hard to find. And the beer selection gives you a little bit of everything for everyone. The staff was very nice and helpful when choosing my beer and games.
Really cool unique place. If you like good craft beer and old arcade video games this is the place for you. They have a wide selection of unique craft beers and then you can get tokens to play the various arcade games. We went on the 2-year anniversary so a lot of the games were free. They have some cool pinball machines. The games range from everything from Street Fighter to NBA Jam to Skeeball, etc. Pretty cheap for all of them. They have a lot of cool specials during different days of the week. I defi
Updated review: went 4/12/22. Good as always. Redesigned in the two years since COVID...they added a SNES Mini and a Jackbox station at two of the indoor booths. Not sure where the board games went. Had a tasty non-alcoholic Weisse and was also given tap water that was filtered, which was a nice touch. As was the hand sanitizer about. Original review: Diverse selection of arcade games, beer, nerdy events. Check out the list of games on their site.
Awesome service, great spirits and fun arcade games. Love the karaoke and recommend going 10/10
While the selection of games is limited due to the place's size, there were some fun games on offer, and at the tables, you can free play some classics. As well as a bar, there is a food truck there, too. It is possible to have dinner, play arcade games, and spend a whole evening in this place with friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
First time here and it won't be the last! A great place for a low-key date night or to just hang out with friends. Lowry has a great selection of craft beers, meade, cider and wine. They don't serve food, but there's a food truck on site (8 Bit Bytes). The staff was very friendly and let us try a couple of the beers before committing to a full glass. They have almost all the old school arcade games I grew up playing, as well as several pinball machines and a single skee-ball machine. The machines only
My experience at Lowry Parcade was great! They offer a unique selection of local craft beer. At this bar you can find ping ball machines, retro gaming consoles, and several arcade machines. The atmosphere is relax and it feels like your entering into a different era. The staff gave great customer service. Come visit!
A fun craft beer arcade! From kids to older adults (us), lots of older and not so older video and pinball games along with a good selection of craft beer, some local. Games run on tokens that must be purchased. A fun way to spend an hour or so. Rather small, but fun.
Didn't get food so can't review that but this was so much fun! Lots of games to choose from, karaoke and great prices !!! Will definitely return and is a must to do !!
Staff is very nice and helpful. But couldn't play 90% of the pinball machines because theres a ?tournament? going on yet, the machines were rarely occupied with the ?tournament competitors?
Date night (been a long time). Stopped here for a drink and ended up spending our entire date night here. Watched some experts play ?Ice Cold Beer? (amazing talent). Had fun on the Bud Tappery game. Drank some local favorite beers (Florida Ave -My Boy Blue) and listened to an excellent acoustic couple. Best music I have heard live in a long time .. such a fun night out and will def return The food truck is authentic, fresh, and well priced. Bartends were super sweet 10 bucks will get you enough coins
Called asking for prices of games and didn't get a straightforward answer. I was then hung up on when asking for the drink menu. Completely turned off from coming here and I wish I got the name of the woman that answered the phone..
Amazing staff, awesome beer selection. There's always something new going on here, and if you like arcade games, there are a ton of 'em! If you're a nerd, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop by.
Very cool place. Didn't have much time but wanted to check it out. Definitely coming back. Good beer prices and nostalgic older games. Left when a crowd starting getting there but looks fun.
One of my favorite date night places in Tampa. Their food truck is a hidden gem and there's a bunch of different retro style games to play. They have a decent rotating NA drink menu although I do miss the king cake soda that I tried one of the last few times I was there. They host a bunch of events and are always giving back to the community. This is a great place to hang if you're looking for something nerdy
What a great place to visit to get away from it all. I've been to a few adult arcades, and Lowry stands out from the pack. You could spend an hour checking out the murals and decorations. The classic and the more modern arcade games & pinball machines were a blast. I'll definitely be back! -Cheers! ??
Awesome time playing video games and drinking good beer. If I'm ever in town again. I'll b back to visit.
Great selection of games and all in good working and clean condition. Drink selection is really good too. Good vibes, good service. Would definitely return. We visited on a Monday and paid $8 for a wristband that allowed us unlimited free play. Made for a lovely date.
Pretty amazing bar, stocked with games! Food truck outside is great! Love the veggie burger with jackfruit! Burger meets sloppy joe but in a good way!?? Freakin tasty burger and fries.
1st visit and won't be the last. We came on a night with nerd burlesque. It was amazing. The games were great. It is a little tight in the building, but customers are super nice as well. They don't serve food, but a food vendor was outside and yoj are allowed to bring it in. No smoking allowed inside. They serve beer, ciders, and wine. Prices for games and drinks were good.
Finally someone combined the two best worlds that I've always dreamed of. Tremendous staff, very approachable owner and a space begging all to free their inner child. This is my new hideout!
Fun arcade bar in Tampa. Lots of old school arcade games, pinball machines, and a few newer consoles (by that I mean I saw a Wii at the bar). They also have a great selection of beers, as well as a food truck with outdoor seating. ?? ??????
Surprised at how amazing the food truck was. Game selection was ok. The beer selection was better. Staff was great.
Went with my Father in Law, my wife and her two brothers and had a blast. A handful of machines are free on Monday, drink selection was phenomenal. Bartenders we're helpful and pleasant. Really am looking forward to my next visit.
This place ROCKS!! DDR is here, there's pinball, there's beer, there's cider... what else do you want??? We easily spent 2 hours here and could've spent more. We got $10 worth of coins to split between 2 people and it lasted us the 2 hours, AWESOME PLACE
A bunch of the games eat your tokens or just don't work. Basically all of them have an issue, it's hard to play a game without it malfunctioning or taking your tokens leaving little options for games to even play.
Awesome place! Great lineup of games, good drinks, fair prices.. great entertainment! The Nerdlesque show is so good to watch.
Been here a few time with with my friends they seem to single them out even tho they do spend money there just game I think it's very disrespectful and rude wpuld nit recommend
This place made such a big deal about me not tipping and basically kicked me out of the establishment for not tipping the bartender after I literally spent 30 dollars between drinks and tokens
Could have a tad more variety of games but overall pretty fun and the Orange Creamsicle is delish ??
There are so many wonderful beer selections here! I tried the special for the week and I got four free tokens along with my beer purchase. There are a ton of different games to play! There's definitely something for everyone here. Bartenders are super friendly and helpful! Also, there is a taco truck outside with great selection of food!
Food I left on 0 stars because I didn't get any, but I loved the place. The vibe reminded me of the 80s. The whole place was amazing. I couldn't get enough. I went here with friends after dropping a rental car in Tampa, and we found this place and decided to give it a try. Great beer too and the games were fun. I liked the variety of pinball machines they had. Also the people and employees were so kind. I even had a machine steal my tokens and they gave them back with extras. The price of everything was goo
Would come back definitely. Everything is affordable and games are cheap. This is a hidden gem of tampa. I have yet to try their food but will eventually
Im here 2x a week. Obsessed with the selection of pinball and the food truck in front, it has amazing pupusas. Draft selection is always solid and frequently rotates. Met the owner and he explained the game mechanics to Star Wars pinball, helping me understand how to make the leaderboard. Awesome experience, and im loyal to this spot.
This place is incredible with the throwback games!!! I could spend all night here. Games and pinball machines are very well maintained ??
We had a blast! We tried the Cereal for dinner, the PB&J and a peach mead. Fantastic craft brews! Also that NARC game was hilarious! Best date night we've had in a long time
Great nostalgic place. Good pricing on game play. Good variety of IPA beers. I recommend Punk lemonade beer. Bingo Knight is a bit annoying they cut off good music for the game I rather have them play 90's music instead of the game. But overall, it is good spot to hang out.
Such an amazing arcade with craft beers! It's a small place, but they have quite a few pinball machines and skeeball and alot of old classic arcade games! They haven't jacked up the cost of a game either with most games being 2 tokens. And 4 tokens=$1. All in all. Amazing little spot for a super cute date night!
I love Lowry Parcade! All the old school arcade games, great beer choices, and friendly staff will keep you coming back over and over again with your friends! I wish we had a location here in Riverview!
We had a great time! The bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable about the different beers. We went during the day on a Saturday so the food truck wasn't open. It wasn't busy at that time which was nice. Love the variety of pinball games, those are my favorite!
Great service and atmosphere. Loved the classic arcade games and pinball with amazing options for beer, cider and meads.
Love to "get my game on" here...all the oldies like Galaga, Pac Man...etc...great pub as well! The owner very generously allows a non profit one evening each month to receive funds that customers used to play games. Thanks to the owner & the community who showed up to help support the Autism Awareness Shop!
Loved the experience great place and drinks were just as good..all service was spot onand the games where exactly par for the course. Love this place
No food is served here. However, there is a taco truck outside, and food can be delivered. In this review, I went on New Year's Eve and enjoyed a 'holiday' worth of drinks and racked up a 'holiday' bar tab, so take my $50-$100 per person as an outlier. At the time of this review, no red ales were found on the drink menu. ?? It is an excellent place to meet up.
The place has really improved since opening a couple years ago (I don't get to visit often and my last visit was in the early days). The beer list and service is great; all staff helpful in making your experience enjoyable. I love that they post signs with explanations of how to play some games, as well as history of the overall game and that particular machine. Some of the machines are finicky (the SNK machine, TRON, TMNT pinball, X-Men), but that's to be expected from 20yr old hardware that gets used dail
Place is great. Been here numerous times. Had a birthday there. Last night I went for a birthday. My God kids had a birthday there last year. I went to a wedding there. Its a great retro arcade and bar. Its not over the top like Dave and Busters. Staff is always chill.
This place is so much fun! They have an amazing mix of old and new games and the drinks are great too.
Went on Thursday close to opening time. Everyone working there was great and certainly made me feel very welcome. Got great recommendations on drinks and had a wonderful time overall. The machines there are set very low we're talking like .25c generally for playtime. The food was great and fitting for the atmosphere. Very affordable 10/10 I'll be back soon!
Its a quick and fun experience, although it looks bigger in some pictures it has several games, but on the bright side there is free game options if you aren't looking to spend that much money,I would recommend if your coming for a quick hangout with friends or just some nostalgia for yourself
I waited 5 minutes to get a drink and one person was in front of me. They ignored me and I hope it was not because I'm Black. I left immediately. Establishment is pretty ran down and they don't run a full bar.
This place is one of a kind! Awesome service, great staff and very polite to my son during a pinball tournament. We will return when we are in Florida next!! P.S. My son loved the references and the Toby Fox sticker!
This is a fun place to play all the old school arcade games. Great craft beers menu as well.
Lowry Parcade is a favorite hang spots of mine. It's full of classic games and most only cost a quarter to play. The newer games can be $1-2. Some beers come with free tokens. No smoking indoors which is a plus for me (and keeps the games in good shape).
They offer a great selection of beer and seltzer from local breweries. We went on Wednesday which is date night, so when you open a tab they give you 20 (I think) tokens to play. Plenty of two player and single player games. It was a fun time!
Super fun little spot! The DJ was awesome!
This place is a little gem! If you love OG arcade games, this is the place to go! Can't wait to go back, we had a blast.
Some old school arcade games??. Brought me bck. Not crowded and had a live DJ.
This place is my family's home away from home. Great beer selection, great game selection, and wonderful people work there.
So much fun. Great staff. Good game selection. Smash Brothers by the bar is where you'll find me
edited review, now condensed* There was an issue with daily specials and pricing with misinformation from the bartender. This got settled with management after writing a big and honest review but I have since edited all details out now that everything was made right between us. Though I'm still a bit sour over the situation, I appreciate the business replying quickly to try and make it right. That a good sign so no need to hash out the details. Games are cool. A good mix of pinball and classics.
We had a good time. Nice to see some older games and all the pinball machines work. Five dollars for unlimited play is a great deal. We'll go again.
I was so happy to be here yesterday! As part of a company outing, the Brew Bus brought us to this chill little arcade bar. I love all the pinball games and the air hockey table! The beer selection was great, and the bartenders Mike and Emma (again! She works everywhere!) were super friendly and had great recommendations. I'll definitely be back!
This is a great little barcade with an excellent draft list! Food truck outside also. The only thing I would warn others about is the price of some of their beers?they can be as much as $13 for a 9 oz pour, $10 for a 5 oz pour. I totally get that you're paying for the opportunity to hang out and play games, but with games costing money as well, it can add up REALLY fast when you're not careful. Again, though, great selection.
The best arcade bar!!! Great beer selection. Love going for the food truck & trivia Tuesdays, too!
All places were overbooked for springbreak, and I remembered my brother mentioned this place. So much fun not only for the teens but the adults. I love the nostalgic games! Definitely will go again.
Super cool little arcade bar. Great selection of beer and cider, great classic games!
Great for all ages. After 9pm adults only.
Great place if you like pinballs, retro arcades and beer! ??
Great bar. I've enjoyed it every time I've gone. Drinks aren't expensive, arcade games are fun. Some of the games are classics, others are forgettable, but all in all it's a great experience. Classic consoles compliment the arcade games, and even if you're not playing there's a great atmosphere where you can enjoy watching other people who are. Have been here many times and will keep coming back.
Pinball, Arcade, Video Games and craft beer! What's not to like?
This place is AMAZING! It brought back great childhood memories of spending hours in the arcade. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They asked if it was my first time there, then proceeded to give me a rundown of everything. They have tons of pinball machines, old school arcade games, and others. I had hours of fun for $10 in tokens. Additionally, they have a tremendous selection of craft beer. There was plenty of staff on hand, so the wait at the bar was minimal. There is no food, but a food t
AWESOME. Remember that place you dreamt of where people would just play games, have fun, and be cool to everyone? This is that place! Great people. Great drinks. Classic games. 5 stars all the way!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
