I attended an event there during ISTE, given by Intel. It was a great event in a wonderful esports space! They have a ton of the most recent gaming hardware and the place is huge and can accommodate full scale esports events. I am looking forward to attending many more events there in the future!
The best Internet Cafe I've ever known in Philadelphia. Beast PC, great gaming rigs, & comfy gaming chair. The atmosphere was chill, and staff were nice. Instant food and snacks are affordable. The price itself is decent, $15 for a whole day if you're non-member. They're usually pretty empty on weekday. Don't hesitant because they got almost every kind of video game that you would expect. They also have console if you're bored with PC. One tip, don't forget to fill your stomach up before you come because ti
Come see the future of competitive online gaming right here in downtown philadelphia. Step your game up and play like a pro or chill back relax and eat snacks and post a tiktok or two if clout chasing is more your thing.Localhost is not only one of the largest, fastest. and most sophisticated online gaming facilities of its kind on The east coast but that combined with its superb staff amazing facilities and great location with easy transportation in and out of the city localhoat is set dominate over all
Attended a LAN there -- had a ton of fun! The chairs are super accommodating for all body types. The bathrooms had plenty of space and two larger stalls. The entire place smelled nice and the staff were super.duper friendly. Thanks for hosting us.
It's a pretty cool space, though they're mostly focused on PC/eSports stuff versus consoles.
great place! much better than TAP and they even have a reward point system so you can get bonus hours if ur a repeat customer. very clean and usually not too busy! the place is huge and the bathrooms are clean, staff is really nice.
The venue was great and the staff were incredible. The last day of the team fortress 2 tournament was wonderful. The people working knew the game and were very kind and helpful. The computers worked and the atmosphere was generally great.
This was my first time at a place like this and they made the user experience very easy. The computers have a bunch of the most popular games preinstalled but there is the option to download and play other games from your steam library. The over the ear headphones were very comfortable and there is enough space that most people can spread out a bit. I liked that I could keep track of my time via the app on my phone as well and top up from there if needed.
Great place, Fun times, but I went 1-2 :(
Tl;dr: really nice staff, great atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Check it out if you enjoy gaming. Went to the grand opening today as part of a school function, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I do game regularly, but rarely competitively, and I think being a big eSports fan would've helped my enjoyment, but it was a really awesome environment. The commentators were energetic and I would love to come back for a tournament I was more invested in. The staff was also really nice, actively
Amazing atmosphere and great workers. The computers to play on were extremely fast and looked nice. The internet was also amazing. My friends and I played for about 4 hours straight and there were absolutely no issues whatsoever. I am very satisfied with my visit. It was very cheap for such a great day filled with fun!
Superior gaming LAN center in the city. Better UI and Steam, Epic, and Ubi Connect integration on the systems which as more than capable of what you need to run. Very spacious with room to breathe at the stations; plenty of elbow room and comfortable seats. The place is also event/tourney ready with casting area and stream equipment up and ready whenever; will look to see if anything start happening in the future or possibly host some events. Snacks and drinks available on site as well. Only wish the place
Good place, but would be a good idea to have games already but here you got to come and login your steam account or they give you and you have to download game!)
Excellent price/playtime ratio. Me and my group of friends hit this place up after the overwatch finale. They were very accommodating and friendly. We got a few of the other folks playing overwatch together for some nice 6v6s. If you're looking to play some games this place does a damn good job of getting you in a seat fast and ready and raring to go.
Big venue, not cramped like some others I've been too. Came to play some fighting games, ended up running a side tournament for Windjammers. Was pleased to see an ever drive 64 and was able to get my Griffey fix while I was there. Cool place with cool people.
Lots of fun! As walk-ins, we paid $15 a person for all day. We were able to download and play games of our choice as well as experience VR for $10 a half-hour. Friendly staff, snacks available to buy. Will visit again!
A great spot to hang out if you're a fighting game fan. Doesn't matter if you just want to press buttons with people or level up for the next upcoming tourney. There's tons of cool people to meet who share the same passion as you to the point where it feels like family.
I came here this past weekend for a college tournament. I love this place, it's the perfecting gaming cafe. It's very clean, and the staff was welcoming!
I've been coming to LocalHost as a customer and tournament organizer for the past few years now, and I can say, without a doubt, that this place is great. Central location. Great food close by. Plenty of space and equipment. Great staff who are in tune with the local scene. Extremely affordable rates.
Kyle is great dude who runs a great gaming venue. Plenty of seats, monitors, and scrubs. Lol. Including me. Venue fee is Only $10, cheap, pretty solid for what you are getting. If you think it's not a nice spot, just come to our monthly local tournaments. Go For Broke is lit believe me.
Great spot with plenty of monitors and comfy seating to play on. Helpful and friendly staff that maintain a well organized and clean events. Plenty of places to watch and play games and this is one of my favorites. Also a lot of great food spots in the area. Looking forward to my next visit.
I was there for the NCS for Apex Legends. My team placed 8th place. The place was amazing. You can come in for free play and play any game you want. They don't have waters but they do have other drinks like Red Bull, Gatorade, etc... I bought a Team Liquid Jersey there for $60. I love it. Definitely a place to go to in Philadelphia
Very chill place. Perfect for gaming. The staff are really nice and let you play until the end of your last game even once closing time has passed with little to no fuss. I love it here.
Fantastic place to come and play PC games you already own. BYOB, right next to the Foodery to boot. Great space, clean modern rigs with cheap prices, and friendly employees. 11/10 with rice, would retire here.
Avoid going to this place because they have been organizing the same Super Smash Bros. tournaments & they don't ever add any new video games
If you want to have a good time go here. It's absolutely fantastic fun with friends. I got to try out VR for the first time and had a blast! You can't play co-op VR just yet since thay only have one headset up when I went in but thay say in the very near future thay will have a bunch up and runing.
Came here with a group. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And even though the tournament that was going on over the time that was allotted them Localhost did apologize for the delay.
Ran by arrogant people who don't support local talented players who are better skilled players. Do not attend, their tournaments are fake. Their prizes are worthless as well, but given how the people running it aren't even local to begin with they only pander to other outsiders who aren't from the area.
I came to Localhost for the first time almost a year ago. It was my first time coming to a monthly tournament and I knew almost no one in the community, and those that I've met, I barely knew. But the staff namely a Kyle McFarland, made me feel comfortable and at home. And from there on I've made many more friends in the fgc, and Localhost was more or less the start. It's a great place, with nice atmosphere and not far from some nice eat spots(the Taco truck is a favorite of the community), and I've yet to
My first time there was brief cant give an accurate review of just that alone but from first impression seems like a decent place for kids to spend there free time playing games online and from what I was told its monitored so they dont go to other sites that wouldnt be good such as pornsites and sites of that nature. As a parent though just being told something is good for kids is not enough for me to say its ok and approve. No bad vibes first visit only good ones.
One of the best Venues in Philly. Lots of good players that not only support ALL of the philly pro players, but also the neighboring state players that visit. If you're looking to learn more about the fgc, while also having a good overall time, this is the place to check out. Especially on a tournament night.
I really enjoyed my time here and can see myself returning here regularly. Prices were affordable, gear was everything one could need and more and I really like how you can save your computer time if you dont use it all at once.
Friend recommended me this place and went after OWL grand finals. Staff was friendly and they have higher end rigs with cheap prices. Starting at $10 for 4 hours and they have 240hz monitors! Would come back again if I visit Philly.
Localhost is home to N3RD Street Gamers. They've built themselves up and cater to the LAN-centric PC game centers as well as the local Philly FGC. This is a very welcoming location where you can have fun playing games, meeting new people, and so on. They just recently hosted a very successful event in Atlantic City with 3 games featuring over $5k in prize pots. They're business is only going to get bigger and better from here.
If you love gaming, this is the place to be. A lot of computer setups for lan gaming. Plenty of PS4 and Xbox One setups to play head to head. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.
A cool place to kill time. People was cool everyone it was very versatile. I need to get better at playing pc because its a whole different ball game then playing Xbox/ps. Overall it was nice to hang out
Staff was very kind and quick to set me up at a computer. Computers ran perfectly. Seating comfortable and the headsets were great as well.
Nice and friendly staffs, my son love to be here
Itz a cool laid back place they run official esports gaming tournments for various games if im not mistaking warzone 2 tournaments coming soon im excited
Local host is by far the best weekly in philly that I"ve been to. Everytime I go there, I have a blast not only playing video games but just chilling with people and having fun. If local host wasn"t a thing I probably would not be as good as I can in fighting games today.
Great new concept. Open again during COVID. One of the next big things in e-sports. Nice to see it at a great location in Northwest Philly.
Awesome place to play on LAN on gaming PCs. Has tournaments pretty often. Guys in charge are pretty cool too. And it's affordable.
It's pretty bare bones, but I like this place a lot. I brought my 5 year old and we played N64 all day!
Was a pretty fun place to hang out. The tournaments they have here are legit esports spectacles. Would go again.
Its a great place to hang out and play some games with your friends and the prices are affordable
If you like video games, whether casually or competitively. This is the place for you. Great staff and atmosphere. They know the way.
Best PC's you can touch without spending thousands, tournaments for cash occasionally , chill workers and vibes.
So basically I was like in the place but I was also having this bread but then I was like then I was very excited when I was ecstatic to see this news for my family. #REALSLIMEHOURS
Awesome place with awesome people! The only thing that sucks is parking but its not too bad, just gotta drive around looking for a spot.
My favorite place to be as a nerd in Philly. Lots of computers and game consoles for usage. Hope they start local advertisements soon so the place will get more popular.
It was a nice and clean environment. The staff was pleasant and professional. We would definitely go back??
Amazing people... Great place and professionally run...
Man, this place is great. Lots of space. Great machines. Nice place to get stuff done online.
Rad as hell cyberspot, decently organized tournaments, personable workers, wonderful experience, can't recommend enough

I'm here every week for console and PC games. I've never had a bad time. Unless I lose of course.

This is where you want to be if you are a gamer.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
