A fun atmosphere for all ages! The food was tasty and the service was great! The mini golf was so much fun! The system keeps track of the points so you can keep having fun without worrying about keeping score and avoid disagreements.
Cool food and vibes! I was really happy to see a vegan hotdog on the menu and it was really good. The games are 0.50-1.00 and you can exchange $1,5,10,20 bills for quarters. There was also an ATM for cash. They have a good amount of pinball games to play so you could spend a while in here. This is definitely a place I would come back to!
What a great place. Very clean establishment with polite staff. The beer selection is great, with gems like Three Floyds on tap, along with other staples. There are lots of pinball machines, very well kept and clean. With many games, there isn't much of a wait. Different varieties of games too, both old and new. It isn't too expensive, just 75 cents a play. Honestly the most impressive thing was the food! Went as a group and we were all really impressed with the quality of everything. Tasty and not greasy
I was honestly surprised. The machines are the best kept machines in the state. Pinball Techs are all over working on machines. The bartender that was there got to us immediately and explained that we could go anywhere with our number and he'd find us. We got our food and it was priced actually pretty low but the quality of the food was well above a normal bar. The burger was awesome and the string fries hit the spot. I left my glasses and the bartender found me in the place and gave them to me. I'll be bac
Solid beer list, good burgers, excellent pinball. They even have a voice activated towel dispenser in the men's room.
It was my first time going to Litt Pinball Bar with a friend and I fell in love. There is parking around the building even though the streets are busy. As you walk in the dimly lit building you are greeted by a bar and booths giving you the feel of a classic arcade. The food and beer were excellent as well as the service. You order at the bar and they bring you your food. The chicken wings were fantastic as well as the beer selection. They had all the classic pinball games as well as lots of modern ones an
First time coming here and I had a blast! Dozens of pinball machines to choose from and they're all reasonably priced (50-75 cents per game). I coincidentally came during happy hour so beers were $5 and appetizers were half off, got 3 apps and some beers for a great price. Loved the cheese curds and the mini corndogs. Such fun place to hang out, play some pinball and order some food and drinks, come check it out!
I went on a Friday where they had a nice little karaoke area in the back area next to the bathrooms! The back area was nice to poke my head to take a break from singing along or being over stimulated. I also got a DELICIOUS mocktail that was made for me from the bartender! I really appreciated the atmosphere and laid-back vibes the DJ set up for everyone and having a space to have a sober hang out with folks. 5 outta 5 stars on this visit!
You order at the bar (food and drinks) but they deliver it to your table. Wonderful staff! (We were here the afternoon of June 1st) Nachos were great! The hotdogs too! They sell THC drinks which is wonderful! Great place! Games are $1. Some are .50. I asked for a lemon drop martini, and although the bartender didn't make them often, he figured it out and it tasted great. Thank you!!
All around, great experience! First time visit on a Sunday. It was busy and still we received excellent service, tasty food and drinks. The pinball machines are well maintained and had some of the cleanest decks I've ever seen. We only had problems with the Halloween machine, and that's typical for that machine. Looks like they have various activities on weeknights and a comedy club too, so more to enjoy! We will be back. Thank you!
If you love pinball, you HAVE to put this on your list of must stops in Minnesota. The collection they have is very impressive. Great atmosphere and the awesome craft beer selection. Bartenders were all great. Will be back!
Amazing arcade bar with an awesome selection of Pinball machines. Loved the vibes at the place, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They had a ok selection of beers at the place when I went but it was only their first week of opening and after speaking with management I understand their coming selection will be improved so will definitely go back and check it their new selection of sours. Food was pretty good menu is pretty vast and delicious They have scooters everywhere around the bar, so it
We had a great date night playing Eight Ball Deluxe and Fun House pinball. The burgers and sandwiches were good. Plenty of beer selections. It had a very diverse crowd and was busy for a Sunday evening. Older pinball is $0.50 per play, Newer machines were $0.75 per play.
Everything about LITT Pinball Bar got even better once relocating to this location. Of course folks were fond of the old spot but this is remarkable. Food was absolutely knock out. Smash burgers were top notch and I want to believe that they were aiming for the flavor of the wings to be reminiscent of Liquor Lyles which was housed in this location for 50+ years before LITT. The machines are immaculate. Crazy wide variety of pinball machines and clearly cared for by professionals. If I had to guess I'd say b
Great new location for what was formerly, 'TILT Pinball Bar'. More parking, more games, expanded menu, increased seating, and the games are in great condition. The pinball available is a great mix of modern and classic titles that are well maintained. The staff is attentive, friendly, and timely. This is the best spot for playing pinball in the Twin Cities. Highly recommend!
One of the better value nights out you can have. Extremely reasonably priced bar food and tons of pinball machines. Definitely can get busy but I've never had to wait to play as there's usually at least a couple machines open at a time
Really great place. I don't pinball much but had just heard about this table the other day and thought I would never see it. Was delighted that they had it!
Went with my two young teens on a Saturday lunch time. We had a blast. Not too crowded, lots of available machines. The food was good and there's a great beer selection. Just a really fun time. We'll be back.
Great variety of machines. Cool wall of machines with play field displays. Hard to find restrooms, but bonus that there are more tables back there. Rachel was an awesome bartender who pointed out the super happy hour special for us.
I had a great time at this unique and wonderful place. Full of limited edition pinball machines you probably won't find most any other place, as well as a couple of pinball classics. Excellent beer and drink selection as well as good food.
Had a good time. Bartenders, beer selections and service were all top notch. Pinball left a little to be desired. Not as wide of a selection or as many machines as I'd expect. Very good upkeep on the machines. Little back of envelope math suggests you pay more per game here than other barcades in the cities.
Excellent pinball selection, good food, and helpful staff when techincal issues arose. A few machines had broken/malfunctioning components, and several were just turned off for the evening. Very busy night -- I believe there may have been a tournament? Happy to have gotten some high scores and get my photo taken! Overall, fun times, eager to come back
I've been to quite a few Pinball Bars (rotterdam, saskatoon, etc) and this one is up there with the best. I only dont like how expensive per game some of the machines are at 1$ per. If you are buying beers at a decent markup and getting buzzed the performance at pinball goes down so you spend more. For that reason I prefer the higher flat fee/unlimited plays model. It's a minor complaint.
Me and the boys came here and had a great time. I had the Mad Dog which was pretty decent for a barcade hot dog. The games were fun even though I am 4'11" and couldn't really make out the top half of most of the pinball games, but it was still a great time with a huge variety of patrons. I appreciate how the games straight up require quarters, as opposed to a wasteful, money-grubbing tokens system. It's nice to still have a bit of change left over at the end of the night. Highly recommended!
This review is only about the food, because everything else was great. $10 for a hot dog that is mostly bun is just wacko bananas to me. Also, not sure if you guys have had a Chicago dog before but those babies are so loaded up the bun can barely hold it all. The one I got here was anemic with very few toppings. I subbed the chips for fries and was disappointed to find I only got a small handful of low quality matchstick fries. All in all I paid $30 for two dogs, two fries subbed, and two dipping ranches. P
Cool place! Went on a snowy Sunday night. It was busy, but not chaotic. They offer some good food and beer options. Not a ton of places to sit and eat, but the main purpose of the place is to play the pinball machines. I look forward to going back!
Walking around from CA looking for something different and this was it! Great spot to hang with friends or family! Play out your hearts desire with different pinball games! Had a few good beers and played around for an hour.
First time trying this place for our anniversary and we were over the moon! The atmosphere was incredibly fun, the pinball machines had so many great themes (my boyfriend found the Deadpool machine and I quote ?it was the best day of his life?). But not just that, our bartender was amazing, she was super nice and friendly towards us the entire time and not to mention the food was creative, but delicious!! Will definitely remember this as an experience for everyone I know and we will also return many times i
We had a great time here while in town for business. Easy to get to, we rented scooters and took them a few blocks from our hotel down here. Place is small but a lot of fun?everyone is having a good time. Staff is on point.
Walked into this place randomly on the way to a dinner with some colleagues. Wow...really friendly staff, the patrons were all nice and let me play in on rotation, and the collection of games was stellar! Really surprised by how well the action on the "older" games was maintained. I've rebuilt the Addams Family, and it was really clean on the rails, with well maintained bumpers. Somebody must really love these machines. Oh, and they have the new Toy Story 4! Everybody has been talking about it and it look
Love this place - we visited two weekends in a row. Sun afternoon after Vikings was great timing and not too crowded. They have all the best games. Only place in town we've seen the new Elton John! Shout out to the staff who found my purse which I left at our table on a busy Sat night. They had it behind the bar, checked my ID before giving it back?super professional and helpful!!
Wow, how did I not visit this place sooner. The vibe, the drinks, the staff and most surprising (to me), the food was GOOD! Highly recommend if you're in the area.. or not.
I'm a huge pinball junkee, so hearing about this place immediately had me lured in as was visiting from Las Vegas. All my favorites were here, beautifully manicured and operating perfectly. Venue was clean and well-presented. On top of it, there was a full-service bar to enjoy while you are playing. All games (I saw) were 50 cents...even the newest offerings. I felt the beers were a little higher prices than should be...but it is my choice to drink or not. Wish this was closer to my house...
Its more like 4.5 stars. My husband and 6 year old son had a fun time at Tilt. They have old and new games which were all in great condition. They're either .25 or .50 in tokens. They have footstools for the little people and we all felt welcome especially as out of towners. The bartender even came over and told us some places to check out in Minneapolis which was super nice. Definitely it's a place to check out even if you're not a "pinhead" but want the nostalgia and fun.
Tasty dogs and brats, but the pinball and atmosphere is what shines here. Machines are well-maintained and lighting is perfect for enjoying the game. All machines play for 1 or 2 tokens (leave the quarters at home). ATM and bonus tokens for $5/$10/$20. We all enjoyed a mix of food, beers, and pinball. Great environment.
Definitely the place to go if you're looking to play some pinball, they have dozens of machines that are a blast to play! Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but still didn't have to wait long at all to play the games I wanted. I had a burger after my pinballing and it was pretty good, no complaints there! Only complaint is that the parking situation is kind of dreadful. They have a pretty small parking lot in back but if that is full you'll have to search for street parking nearby; the current con
Staff was borderline hostile. I'll lay it out: Tuesday night, pretty light crowd, three employees around the bar. Sign at the door says seat yourself so we sit down and wait about 10min, no one acknowledges our table at all (there are only 3 tables with ppl at them and maybe 5 ppl at the bar) there seems to be one waitress, she visits the table behind us twice, never acknowledges us. We move up to the bar and wait another 5min before anyone even looks at us Slightly annoyed, but hungry so we stay Staff b
Great place! Love the variety of pinball machines. The food and variety of local beers are all great and really reasonable prices. Come by yourself or a group of friends and you will have a great time!
Excellent pinball bar. Exceptionally maintained machines. A good variety, food is typical bar food. Many drink options. Hard to get to but parking in the back.
Unique date night experience. Would come back even just for the everything pretzel, it was delicious. Can get crowded, but overall did not have a problem finding a seat or a machine to play.
The old location was awesome. The new location is LITT! This new location takes TILT to the next level. There's easily twice as many machines as the old 26th Street location, and more than double the space for customers to enjoy the atmosphere and pinball in comfort. The sound system is fantastic, and the machines are all in near-perfect condition. This is pinball paradise, folks, and we're so lucky to have it here in town. The machines are coin-operated and are mostly $0.50 or $0.75/credit. Change machines
Fantastic place! Incredible selection of machines all in great condition. Reasonably priced as well, ranging from 25c to 75c/play. I was able to get a solid hour and a half out of a roll of quarters. Did not experience the food but will definitely be back.
New layout is great with the way they separate the old, new, and league machines. All are operational and clean. Staff was friendly and available.
Most fun place to hang out in The Cities. The food is superb, the staff is great, and best of all is the pinball. Tilt's collection of pinball machines is well curated, with a nice balance of the best classic machines and the most exciting new machines.
Really fun place just don't go there later at night I wish they had some old classic pinball games like from the 70s which would make it even more fun
Excellent selection of pins (50? a game), from later Williams to many new. All babied, beautiful setups. Easy vibe, relaxed atmosphere, good cocktails.
Absolutely love the food and love playing pinball. They have quite the variety of machines.
Litt Pinball Bar in Minneapolis offers a classic pinball experience?most of the games are a dollar per play. While this pricing seems reasonable at first glance, the overall value starts to diminish when you take into account the difficulty of earning replays (free games awarded based on high scores). Even for seasoned players, achieving a replay feels like an uphill battle, which means that playing regularly can get quite expensive. Additionally, the "matches" ? a random reward at the end of your game tha
One of the best ?arcade bars? I've ever been too. This bar just has pinball. Plenty of the older pinball machines there play like they just took them out of the box. It's amazing. Games don't even cost $1 they're 50 cents each. Beer, amazing. Hotdogs?! So good. Went here the first night on our trip to Minneapolis and we immediately went back the second night. I'd go back in a heartbeat. If your anywhere near here and you like pinball you have to go.
Everything about this was cool. The food looked and was presented very well but the hot dog actual beef that we were served had to have been heated all day. It was hard and chewy. It was very very salty. The games were all new and in good working order. Also of fun especially the options to play a few 50s style pinball games which made the pinball experience even more fun.
Loads of fun for adults and their kids. Staff was friendly, food was tasty & games were a blast. A solid collection of some classic and many new machines. Totally a place to visit again!
My favorite bar in Minneapolis - the new location rocks. The machines have always worked flawlessly and are fairly priced. Very fun collection. 10000% recommend.
Pinball, beer, awesome hotdogs with varied toppings, kid friendly??this place has it all *pretzels are awesome too
I love this place! Great vibes, awesomely huge array of pinball machines, and delicious beer. The bartenders were kind and gave me a sample to ensure liked what I ordered. If I lived here, I'd come back weekly!!
It's a good place to get a drink or some food. The games all seemed like they were in great condition, 47 machines meant a lot of variety, and the price per game was very reasonable. Overall, it was a fun and interactive date night. My kids love going on the weekends!
Nice. atmosphere, bartender. lady was very nice ,she made a. Awesomeness white Russian. The next time I visit, I hope she is there!
Small place, but wonderful details on the decor. The bar actually lit up like a stretch of pinball machines. Really cool looking place. They had some of the best pinball machines too. Like Wizard of Oz, Ghostbusters, Iron Man (which was out of order), Guardians of the Galaxy, Total Annihilation, etc. The food was ok, but odd. I mean, it's hot dogs with interesting toppings, which sounded like something one should try, but all the ingredients were like "yeah, sounds good, oh--wait, stop! Go back! Ctrl + z!"
Pinball glore. An awesome selection from old to new, and a lot of higher end machines. Great and friendly staff. Drinks were better than the food.
This place is awesome. Good food and great drinks! Music was the bomb.com. I would highly suggest this place for a great date night.
Great variety of machines! Way too crowded though--it's like I'm re-breathing everyone else's air in a dark closet.
Very fun spot to hang out with friends or go to hang out to play some pinball. Be sure to check out the variety of pinball and great drinks. The food menu looks really great. The space is a bit small but overall very nice.
This is one of my favorite places. So nostalgic. A cozy and welcoming hole-in-the-wall packed with a constantly evolving array of pinball classics, favorites, and newcomers. They also serve alcoholic beverages and a small menu of food. A MUST STOP if you enjoy pinball!
Simply the best Pin Bar in the Twin Cities. Awesome staff, great food, & well maintained pins.
LITT continues to offer the best pinball experience that one could hope for. The games are all in great condition, and the variety keeps me wanting to come back again and again. They just added a fish fil an and it is spectacular.
Great selection of old and new pinball machines. All of the machines were in perfect working order. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Fantastic staff. Always a couple dozen very well maintained pinball machines for only $0.25 to $0.50 per credit. All sorts of hotdogs with creative ingredients, vegetarian options and now some other great food choices, too! Plenty of custom cocktails, as well as a great craft beer selection. A must visit for any pinball enthusiast.
We ordered the Walleye and Deep Fried Cauliflower. Both were good, not great. All the machines were well maintained. Lots of good new machines and classics, .75 and .50 respectively. The pinball is where this place shines, which is what you'd expect (and hope for). The drinks are the reason I dropped my rating. We got 3 named drinks from the menu, and they were all pretty terrible, if not the worst drinks we've had in recent memory. 5/5 pinball, 4/5 food (quality matches the atmosphere), 1/5 drinks.
Very disappointed as we decided to go elsewhere as we were trying to set up an event for a group of kids but decided not to with the way contact was handled. #1 why can you not speak to someone via phone? #2 emailing about a group is not the best means of communication sometimes. #3 felt like I was bothering the person emailing me as I was asking questions about reserving a room and food choices wanted. I have been in food service management most of 20 years and this was the worst choice of communication t
Guests are pretty good about rotating on machines. You can usually play any and all of the games that you like. This may be a bit different on a league or tournament day, though. Their website provides schedules and info for league play. Game prices went up just around Super Bowl time, from 25? to 50?. You can get a decent beer or cocktail here. I wouldn't order any cheese cake or deserts, unless you like eating cardboard. Stick to what they know - hot dogs. It used to be ridiculously loud in there, but re
Amazing pinball bar with a fantastic selection of impeccably-maintained (and often feature-upgraded) machines, great bar, and great staff... and all games are only $.25! Lots of new games as well as some favorite classics.
Parking is a nightmare! Friendly staff. Great selection of pinball. All Limited Editions was crazy to see! Medieval Madness was not level drifting hard right. Same with Whitewater. Awesome! Thank you! Will definitely be back soon! Changed to five stars! Update 6/8/23 TMNT is not level and is drifting to the right pretty bad. Check Jurassic Park as well. Seems off Update 11/11/23 The new location has a much better layout and much more space. As for the parking, it has changed from a nightmare to the 7th la
Most of the pinball machines are in proper condition. Alic Coopers Nightmare Castle seemed like the ball was too heavy or the initial launcher was not delivering enough power to the ball. Had a blast playing deadpool and the beatles pinball machines. I will come back to test out more of the machines. A big plus for having Killer Queen. That is a good game to have to play in groups with friends or make new friends. Drink and food prices were fair. I had the deviled eggs which had jalapeno peppers topped on i
Hadn't been since the change. What a great space. I don't play pinball but the machines looked great. 1:00 on a Saturday female bartender was fantastic. Best bloody of our bloody mary crawl. Definitely go back.
Great pinball games, well kept machines, great atmosphere and well made drinks! Will go again.
The pinball selection is top notch. The games are very nicely updated/refurbished. So even the classic games play incredibly well. $0.75 per play for most of the games seemed pretty reasonable. Nice bar, great atmosphere. Really fun place overall.
Old Liquor Lyles now LITT pinball, many games, DJ booth keeping the music fun. Good food with light wait times, quality drinks at affordable prices
We had a great time here until the end of the night. Love the place, love the business model but after the bartender got our tip, he treated us like alien life forms. He snatched the beer out of my hand and violently pushed us out the door. The owner may want to have a sit-down with his staff and instruct them not to physically throw otherwise peaceful people out of his place of business. *Note: I changed this from a 1-star review the next day. The technician that works there is a good dude, the bartender
Always a great time at Tilt. They always have tons of pinball machines in great shape and change them out fairly often
One of my favorite hangs. They've upped their food game since they've moved to the new location. And you can't go wrong with a beer and lots of pinball machines to choose from. I've never had to wait for a machine somewhere to be available. Find me at the Wizard of Oz machine.
Great Bar! Went here for my birthday, I love the bar top itself because it's pinball machine artwork itself and it lights up. Also I love that this place has Herbivorous Butcher vegan dogs as an option. I had the Mac and Cheese dog & it was amazing. Also a great selection of tap beers!
A fun atmosphere and nice staff. Food and drinks were tasty and the pinball was fun too!
Excellent pinball machines, in top notch working conditions, friendly, up-beat vibe, great beer selection, kind staff, tasty dogs, dope tunes. This place is great for kids (before 9), chilling with your parents or the boys, or even date night. Thank you TILT, you're doing everything right!!! SPECIAL WHEN LIT
We love this place/new location! They regularly change out what machines are on the floor while maintaining all machines to ensure they are working well. The staff is friendly and if a ball is stuck or a machine becomes funky, they'll refund the quarters and immediately fix it. Haven't tried the food (yet); the bartenders are amazing, and the variety of drinks is impressive.
Great fun! We are not fantastic at pinball or anything but went here with some friends for a fun evening out. Warning re the menu - it's relatively limited unless you like veggie dogs or hot dogs. But the pinball is where it's at. Nearly all the games are 25 cents; some are 50. Love the old school games in the back! We've been twice, two weeks apart, and the games had changed between visits. Definitely recommend for a fun (and inexpensive) night out!
Tilt is a great place to meet with friends, have a few drinks and play pinball. Its location is convenient if you plan on eating along nicollet avenue aka "eat street." They have over a dozen pinball machines, a decent bar, and clean restrooms. If you are in the area swing by!
Haven't tried the food, but if you are looking to play pinball, this is the place. Old games and new games, vibes are off the charts
A must-stop destination for any pinhead in the Twin Cities. Every machine was in excellent condition and played really well. With about 45 machines, the lineup was stellar. I will definitely visit again when I'm in town. I can't say I tried the food, but the menu looked great!
Used to come in all time when it was Liquor Lyle?s but haven't been in since it became Litt. Had a fantastic time with friends and had a really great conversation with one of the bar backs who gave a great burger recommendation. Great bar service too! Will definitely be back SOON.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
