went to this place called level up and Sigma looking bouncer, which was a girl did not let me in because I'm a woman and she doesn't like the way I look. If you're hot, don't come here. she denied away my ID, even though it was real she just wanted to look hard in front of her date outside, which I don't think you're supposed to be fraternizing with customers while on the job, The owner should definitely reconsider who they have working in the door

Awesome Pinball machine selection. Only downside is none of the machines are hooked up to wifi so you can't scan into your account to save high scores. I won't knock off a star because of that tho because 50? for 1 credit is decent, and the price of drinks like Princess Peach they've had on the menu forever is good.

This place is amazing! Super clean, extensive game selection and very well maintained. You don't have to buy a card or add credits, old school quarters and super cheap pricing! Pinball is still .50! Highly recommend for a family day, friend group or date night!

Spent part of my 21st here with my twin sister and some family and friends and had the best time! The bartender was especially awesome and was making drinks fast and super yummy :) the games were a lot of fun and the music was good too. The vibes were immaculate and it was an amazing night thanks to the staff

Fun barcade with foosball, pinball, arcade games and karaoke! There is free foosball on Sunday and Tuesday nights from around 6 PM to 9-10 PM. There are two or three tables set up and are free to play, with one of them set aside for beginners or new players. Unfortunately the tables are not available on other nights. Beginners are welcome to play with the more experienced players who are a friendly and welcoming bunch and happy to teach new players the basics.

Fun place for video arcade games, pinball, billiards and adult beverages. Kid friendly until 9. Good selection of new and older games. Responsible prices. Not much food really. But nice place.

Awesome arcade. They have old games and new games, and lots of pinball machines. I really liked that all the machines still used quarters. They have good video?game?themed drinks. We spent several hours here and never got bored. The service was good and fast. Notable?mentions, Guitar Hero, Big Buck Hunt, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, air hockey, pool tables, and Donkey Kong.?Favorite pinball?machine, Scooby-Doo.

Great place! Perfect for a big company or just to kill time. They also have 2 billiard tables. Drinks are good too. Don't forget your ID if you plan to get in after 9.

Needed to kill some time, happened to come upon this place. It was okay. Sort of expected more but it seems to basically be a hangout place for young adults. Great combination if you want to play pinball and drink. Some pool tables but very limited. Bsome games designed for 2 players had only 1 side working. The have a dz or so pinball games and a small variety of other games. We didn't order drinks but it looked Ike they had a huge selection. Lots of tables to sit and enjoy your drinks.

A little pin ball magic in Eugene. Good selection of movie pinball like Dr.No, Scooby Doo, The Munsters, Godzilla. Nice bar set up and lots of room toward the back with pool tables, a sitting area.

If you are a vintage video game player, this place stands out as a location of note. Large selection of pinball machines as well. Great prices on drinks and they allow under 21 people before 9PM, so it's a great place to bring kids.

This establishment needs to educate their employees about public health requirements. No need to deny someone entry because they pointed out the disgusting cloud of secondhand smoke at the only entrance. Alas, the "peaked-in-high-school" ID checker took it upon himself to exercise his right to refuse service. Thank you Rowan, we had a fabulous time at another barcade with amazing drinks, staff & DJ's. Way more welcoming vibe and respect for public health law.

Plenty of pinball and some old-school video games. All clean and functioning. Not over-priced. Did not eat or drink there. Just stopped in for some gaming fun.

Fun place to bring the family and play some classic and new games. Also full bar, so makes it even better for a dad of 3 girls. Lol

My kids love this place. Great pinball selection and it's kept clean. Kids are allowed until 830 or so. Beer selection is solid. Good times at Level Up!

Fun place! Went for birthday party. Cool atmosphere, colorful, upbeat.

Really good line up of pinball machines. 50 cent games. I was in to shoot some pool. Coin op pool tables. Standard 8 foot, cloths were in fair shape. Not for serious pool. Service was good and staff was friendly.

Wish they'd get a DDR machine! Love coming here. There's lots of interesting drinks on their menu and the games are always fun!

Great staff, nice atmosphere, they had a dj playing music. Machines worked good. Bathrooms were clean.

I've been coming here for years and it's just gotten better. Whether it's a date with my partner or a family outing, level up has never disappointed me. Great selection of drinks and sides, great games and still has that classic arcade feel to it.

Nice and fun, has a bar. The only downside is the games are very short, requiring you to spend more quarters to play for a while.

This is seriously the biggest arcade place around the area that I've seen so far. It's got tons of pinball machines and old school arcade machines that you can play for pretty dang cheap.they have a full bar that seems to have basically everything that you would need and it's pretty simple to play almost any of the games with quarters. it's the perfect old school arcade experience with adult beverages. They even host private events.

Great place had a good times with some friends love all the old games and food !!!!

Good selection of games for reasonable price. Had a good blend of retro and new. Loved that they had dig dug and frogger. Bartenders were unfriendly. Went on a Wednesday night so it wasn't crowded at all. Paid $4 for my corona so not too bad.

A blast. Not over crowded even for a Friday night. Employees were great too. Environment is comfortable and laid out nicely. Spacious. Great selection of ways to play games; retro to current. I saw everything I can imagine. Get you're pictures taken in the photo booth while you're there!

Fun range of classic games, with some newer ones thrown in :) great deals, range from .50-dollar or so. Lots of seating options available, for small or big groups. Good place for kids with big energy!

the staff were really helpful and even put our cake in the fridge while we played. chess is free and we played that for a while. the games are pretty reasonable. the price of drinks though was super surprising ? we got a few shots+beers, and was expecting to pay ~$50 for it all, but it was double that!

Cheap drinks, clean, all the games and machines were working, bright colors, lots of TVs, spacious, several pool tables. It was busy but didn't feel crowded, even for a Friday night. Everyone was laughing and having a good time with their friends. Crazy collection of pinball machines. I got a whiskey and Rainier for $8 (as of March 2023), which feels incredibly cheap.

Fun, cheap, a go to spot. Right from the very begining with a friendly welcome, to the pour of our drinks and on through, with a firm handshake inviting us back. ALL the employee's are inviting and loving what they do, with a smile, that has you comfortable and enjoying your time unwinding with friends or a fun date night. It had us from the minute we walked out the door sayn' "we gotta come back" and why haven't we been here before. With the great open hours of 2pm to 2am on weekdays, and a 12pm till 2am

Nice staff, good mix of pinball machines, and arcades (retros and modern). Good beer choices and all ages are welcome. Note - I believe on weekends it becomes a 21+ after 9pm

Great place for date night or hanging with friends, better for older kids. Yummy food and drinks!??

Me and my boys love hanging out over here lot of fun times awesome video games

I've taken my now 14 year old here for the last three years on his birthday with his dude buddies, it's great. I can get them Shirley Temple's and give them 10 bucks in quarters and they're easily occupied for an hour.

This place is the best! They have old school pinball and arcade games as well as modern game's. They have a bar but it is an all ages arcade! They also have food and non acholic drinks.

Amazing atmosphere and people!!!

Lots of stuff, staff was friendly. Great place to shop. Staff was knowledgeable too.

Great for pinball and drinks. They have a good karaoke night.

Cool place to grab a drink, play pool or other games and relax or chill with friends.

Do not go here. We tried to come here for our friend?s birthday and they wouldn't let us in because they suspected we had been drinking. They were so rude and went out of their way to make us feel unwelcome. I would definitely go to round 1 instead

Fun place good atmosphere family friendly. Drink beer play arcade games. What more could you need.

Cool place for games. Drinks are kinda spendy at $10 a cocktail.

Crazy place to play video games with friends and share a beer.. I had fun

The absolute BEST place ever. Bartenders are super nice, drinks are fantastic! Game selection is incredible, and there's also a jukebox that is super cool! Don't have anything negative to say, highly recommend!

The greatest bar! They have the best bartenders and staff! They're so friendly and always make sure I am taken care of. I always have the best time when I am there! It's nice to have a safe place where you can have fun!

Minors are allowed to use the games till 9pm. Grandsons enjoyed it.

The games are a mix of new and old. The pinball collection is impressive. Karaoke wasn't half bad either. We will definitely be back!

Great place to hang out with our 20 something kid and us 57 ish parents. Nice bar with great entertainment!

Such a Fun time, It becomes an Adult Arcade after 8pm... The Most pinball games in a Very Long time!!

Such a fun place to spend some time, great variety of games and affordable too. Was a weekday and was not over busy.

Sweet barcade to catch some drinks and play some games. Good beer on taps with good options.

So cool! All my favorite vintage arcade games plus pool in the back. Super fun. Brought my daughter there for her 13th birthday. We will definitely be back.

Great place for arcade entertainment kids adults party room bar.

They have so many pinball machines, a four player Mario Kart, and pool tables. Everything I need! The bartender was super friendly and it was a good vibe. I look forward to coming back!

This place was good to get away. It has arcade games from the past. Some newer games and drinks. No food though. But with good company you can't go wrong! The games are reasonably priced as well!

Pinball machines in good condition and nice variety of games. Busy enough, but not too busy. $5.50 for a draft IPA on Saturday night was a nice surprise compared to most places I've been lately. Easy and free street parking was close. Nice mix of people of all ages.

Great beer selection. Even better arcade games.

I really wanted to like this place. For the most part, it's fine. I find it odd to have a bar environment with kids wandering around. That being said, I understand that is only until 9 pm. They manage it pretty well in terms of the bar participants and the kiddos. The food is bar appetizers nothing terribly special, but acceptable for what it is. If you're not drinking or eating appetizers the games are pretty fun. Average $1.00 each with pin ball being $.50 and the old school stuff @ $.25 & $.50 each. L

Love it. Lots of pinball plus billiards and more. Good bar, friendly service. I will return.

It was a fun an great experience! Excellent customer service! You can drink beer an play video games which is the best thing ever haha! I highly recommend!

watch your credit card statements! i was there sunday, 5/26/24 & bought a $2.50 soda. i always give tips in cash to help servers. i gave a $1.00 cash tip on a $2.50 drink. i wrote 0 on the receipt on the tip bland & the total $2.50. whoever entered the tips that night entered in a $1 tip on my credit card purchase! so i paid 4.50 for a 2.50 soda. it's something that happens often enough i check! u have thieves working here dollar here, 2 there they think they can just skim & scam

Celebrated son's 21st bday here. The bartender was great, and there were plenty of cool ganes to enjoy. Place has a good vibe.

Top notch barcade. Great friendly staff, full bar, and local brews on tap. Not to mention a plethora of old school video games and pinball. Get some quarters and go have some fun.

Super fun arcade bar and kareoke on tuesday nights

Seems fun but with all the money they charge to play the games they do not service the machines or game tables with the income earned. Pool tables are not even and balls will curve when hit and air hockey table is tilted so the puck goes to one side. Take the money you earn from the games and service the games with it??

Awesome place went here for my 21st! Bartender was extremely kind! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Favorite Arcade in Medford! Huge selection of pinball. Hours of entertainment for just 20 $

Love coming here with my kids. Lots of games to play, great bartender, always fun. Wil definitely continue to come here.

This is a fun place! Just don't go on a game night if you want access to the bar. That area was packed. We played games and went to a different bar for cocktails. Love the pinball options ??

Great games and mid day drinks!

That place is a Joke! As we were having my sons birthday party for a bunch of little kids we got bombarded by a huge group of furries! They were setting up tables and ppl walking around scaring the little kids. I'm sorry I have nothing against who ever you think you need to be, but at a family place. Get real! Well its not a family place at all! Never going there again

Great Barcade! Good selection of older and newer games. The pinball selection is awesome! The bartenders are attentive and friendly. It is fairly close quarters so social distancing can be a trick, but it is totally worth checking out if you have not been yet! I look forward to going again!

Laid back and lots of games to choose from. Very good vibes.

Love love love this place. Best price on drinks. Great bartenders. The games are always well maintained. Great selection of pinball games. Fun in the middle of the day and late at night. Probably my favorite bar in town.

Fun place to play games...no food though..

My son had been begging to go here, so we finally went on a Wednesday around 4. All I had was a twenty, and really didn't want $20 in quarters so ordered a cider from the bar to get smaller bills. My son had a blast playing the games, and we even got an air hockey game in. The place is clean and not too noisy, highly recommend!

Always a great place for a birthday party. There's a super nice area with couches and a table in the back. My kids played to their heart's content and we only spent about $40 on games. Definitely recommend!

Today I came in with my service dog and I was met by a barking, growling, lunging dog. The bartender was very, very kind and they were more than willing to exercise their right to remove the aggressive dog without even having to be asked. They did an awesome thing today and they protected me, my service dog, and my rights to equal access where not everyone would. Typically in a situation like this, it would be the legitimate service dog team that would have to leave in order to protect themselves and their

I've been here several times and can't think of anything to improve the place. I love the assortment of pinball machines. Only problem was that yesterday there seemed to be a Middle School birthday party with lots of shrieking girls and boys. Otherwise an awesome place.

Level Up is one of my favorite places to hang out at in Eugene. I love the variety of old school and new games they have. Pool and air hockey are a fun staple. They have good deals on beer and a full bar with some food. The decor and vibes are cool. Overall a great establishment.

Music box only has super old music. Pools .75 cents. Air hockey but someone spilt a beer on it. There's kids til like 8 or 8 with their parents. They have Guinness only in the can.

I had a great time coming to Level Up! It brought me back to the days of my teenage years. The only difference is that i can drink alcohol now. LOL. It's a great little place that has some awesome retro games to modern ones, tons of pinball machines, pool tables, air hokey and much more. They have a full bar from cocktails to beers to ciders. They didnt have any GF food while i was there, but i spoke to the owner( Super Nice Guy) and He'll look into getting something in there for us GF(gluten free). I

Great place for a beer and a game.

They make great mocktails!

Seriously so much fun to drink and play old school arcade games. I love every minute of it! Even the photo booth is a blast from the past.

This place is a lot of fun. Decently priced alcohol I suppose. Great bartenders. But a great selection of games. Not a lot, but what they have works. A dozen good pinball machines. Two pool tables. Typical sticks, nothing great, but they will do. Air hockey. Some random games. Best by far is the two player Space Invaders game. Lawdy, it's a hoot!. I call it an 8-bit IMAX game. It's huge and it great fun for 2 players.

Bartenders are on it. Can't speak to the cocktails since I mostly drink beer, but they have a good selection and prices are fair. If you like pinball you'll easily lose an hour or two. If you're in the area looking for something to do, definitely stop by.

Lots of great options between new and old school games! Went on a Saturday and they had a DJ which was a surprise to me. Wasn't drinking that night but it looked like they had a pretty stocked bar. Noticed team members coming around consistently wiping equipment down. A few of the machines weren't clearly marked on how much they cost which was a little annoying if you didn't happen to have enough quarters at that moment.

Pretty good spread of games and they aren't fleecing you per game. Didn't have time to try the bar but the place was clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
