My friends and I had a great time here after playing some Topgolf. We just wanted to go somewhere to spend our last night in Vegas and hang out so we came here since the groom to be been here before. When we came around 10pm, they weren't busy at all. They had a Mexican band playing and the game area was available. So we played the corn hole game for about an hour. They have 2 basketball hoop game and pool table but we didn't want to pay. Then we went to play jenga for like an hour and it was fun. After we
Super cool place; chill vibe; the live bands are A-MAZING no cover; average drink price for strip. Bartenders could be a bit more engaging/energetic- but, are very courteous and keep you taken care of. 100% frequent here.
We sat at a table when they opened on a Monday. We wanted to order food and was told they do not serve food on Monday?? So we literally went to the pizza place a few steps away and tried to bring it to our table only to be told we could bring in outside food????? It's not outside food, it's the same resort. We're literally at a Casino/resort trying to eat and drink to watch a playoff game. If you're not serving good, DO NOT prevent me from bringing food from a place that you can literally watch me order it
I can't comment on the food, as I didn't try it. My husband and I went to the arcade section, and played games there. It was $2-$3 per game, (ridiculous we are aware) but we did it for the experience. We did not do the VR. The games they had were the classic Arcade games, Mario kart, transformers, flappy bird. We had a great time, and the worker at the counter on that night, his name was Jah. 10/10. He knows how to do his job well and in excellence, with a great attitude. We must comment on the prize sectio
Slightly awkward dining experience. It felt like we were an inconvenience because we were ordering food. I think this place is meant more for drinks than anything else. It was a nice level of quiet and the decor was eclectic, with pretty paintings and artwork.
Baby, a time was had with the live band!! We arrived about 10 and everyone was just sitting around. Me, being me, went out on the dance floor and got the party started! In between sets a DJ played music and played GOOOOOD music. We didn't leave til after 0300.
Great place to hang out on Saturday nights! The band is fantastic, super fun, entertaining, and cool! I will go there again and again and again. Already planning to go back!
Loved this place ?, the band that night was amazing, the vibe, the drinks, overall great experience. We were looking for a lounge to hang out with music and this place was better than expected. They even offered dancing, if big clubs is not your scene but looking for a great time to dance, drink and hang out with live music this is the place. Can't wait to see Status the Band perform here when we are in town again.
This place is AWESOME. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I came and played the virtual reality zombie game. Had so much fun. Virtual reality game was fun and realistic. They have various games here including bowling, pool and large TV screens to watch sports. They also have a bar. Cool place!
If you're coming here to play pool, don't waste your time. We were handed to Pool cues that we had no tips on them. The one stick that we were able to use was cracked. The tables are old, they are not well taken care of, and they seem like a complete afterthought.
One of the cooler places at MGM Grand. It's basically a giant college party, but I'm into it. Tons of things to do. Arcade games, shuffle board, pool, giant jenga, beer pong, bowling, virtual reality, etc. The virtual reality is expensive but definitely worth it. Probably one of the funnest things I did in Vegas tbh. Service isn't great, and everything else is pricey (as is everything else in this place), but it's a fun area to be at with friends.
Hours of Operation are not accurate at all. Visited on a Sunday at 3pm closed, came back at 4pm still closed, tried one more time at 5pm never opened. No special event listed or anything of that manner. Would not recommend.
The life bands here don't disappoint. My personal favorite was the 80s cover band. The draft beer is pretty good; the Rose wine not so much. Should have known better and ordered Hefeweizen instead ;) There is an arcade nearby. They also have billiard tables. Level up is at the end of the MGM grand casino. It is very close to the bridge crossing over to New York hotel
Level Up is an awesome ultra lounge that is the perfect adult hang in Las Vegas. This large lounge includes a full bar, arcade games, beer pong, and live entertainment nightly. Located in the far rear of the casino next to Hakassan club and Centrifuge bar, the atmosphere is guaranteed to be fun...or interesting at best! ?? I enjoy going on Friday nights because they have an awesome band named "STATUS The Band" (@statustheband), and they play a WIDE variety of hits guaranteed to have you grooving all night
Ya . What a joke for an arcade bar. Barely more arcades than your local pub. They do have VR, but according to their counter person they aren't allowed to let anyone under 13 in despite website actually starting 10+ for their kids game.
Generous giving 3 stars. Came here for some games and billiards. Three out of four cues had split heads (womp womp), one of the two tables looked as though someone has thrown up on it (years ago and dried), and the general vibe was Ohio.
The bar service is fantastic. But the karaoke man seemed to favour his mates. He didn't let everyone sing, even when some of the talent was trash. Otherwise the vibe was cool.
This bartender is 100 percent the the worst bartender I have ever encountered. 2 years in a row so this is not based upon a one off occasion. He threw my Id back at me tonight without so much as looking me in the eye. Last year he was equally as welcoming and seriously needs a reality check. Shocking attitude for someone in the service industry.
The bar has good drafts and TV's for sports, however to call this an arcade is a wild overstatement. A few games is not an arcade. If they wanted to they could put 15 more games in and this place would be fun. It needs some attention.
The place is good, but the service is very bad. The waitresses act angry, and a bald bartender spoke to us very rudely
Really unique experience that was a ton of fun. More fun than gambling and you won't come out disappointed! Excellent group activity.
This place is inside a mediocre Vegas casino so the ambience is not great. Not that many games and some seem like arcade games at first but are actually slot machines...what do you expect though? The giant pac man is pretty fun and the giant beers are...giant. This place has slightly more character than other bars in the MGM. They have a VR room, which we didn't try but could be cool.
Awesome arcade experience for kids and adults! The highlight for us was the ENORMOUS Space Invaders and Transformers games.
Meh, game selection is kind of weak, small pool tables and very open to passer by. I also don't understand the sports bar feel in a video game bar.. should be a separate concept I think. Overpriced drinks and the bar staff kind of seem annoyed if they have to say more than two words to you. If it weren't for the VR room I wouldn't have come. I won't hang out before or after in the bar area next time either.
Actually not too shabby. Had and enjoyed a pretty damn good ramen there. Certainly worth a recommendation. Service by the staff is more than solid. I would be happy to go there again.
It was 30 bucks for a pitcher of domestic beer and they set up a beer pong table for you! It was a lot of fun! Keep in mind ... beer before liquor, never sicker! ????
Little steep on the drink prices. $10 for a cup of beer and $5 for a cup of soda. However the Thursday night entertainment makes it all worth it!!
Level up was a nice bar with live entertainment. There is table service and a full service bar. I was with a large group, and they easily handled all of our needs. We did not eat there, so I can't give a review on that. If you are looking for live music and a good time you won't be disappointed.
Such a cool bar to hangout at! So much fun and positive environment.
I give a one star because I have been sitting here with my friends for 20 minutes. The bartender keeps telling us one minute but keeps serving other people. I even tried to walk up to the side of the bar he was serving people but again got ignored!!!
The Shmarties band outstanding! Classic rock primo stage and sound system great, rocker audience fun too. I'll be back.
Laser tag was amazing and the place has a great full bar. Pretty cool fun time.
Great bands, customers, services TV screens.
The bar food was good waitresses make sure taken care of. Good music and great entertainment
It was alright, the DJ really wasn't that enthusiastic but the bar service was great and the games were awesome.
Loved this place. Easily one of the few things we liked at MGM. We went for 3 different nights and had a different style band each time. There is comfortable couch seating in front along with a regular bar seating in back. Latin band was tremendous and easily the most fun of the three but all were great. Music was not overly loud which is great to me. MGM feels sterile to me a bit but this place felt organic as its in the back of the casino, think they hit a home run by accident just filling space bu
We enjoy going here to listen to live music from Volume 1. They are there on Saturday nights from 10pm to 2am. There's plenty of space to dance and sit. They also have arcade style games, pool tables and big size Jenga. You must be 21 years and over to enter the bar/music area.
Normal bar in open space. Bartenders were friendly and quick. Place was nothing special but clean. Too small for the large group that showed up so we were spilling into the main walkway
The chill vibe of this lounge is hard to explain, you'd have to check it out for yourself. Great free live music (though tips accepted & greatly appreciated ??), fun arcade games, oversized Jenga, & connect 4, & beautiful murals surround the lounge. Overall a great & fun 21+ hangout spot. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone 21+ that wants to go have a fun night out! Thanks Level up?????
We came back to the hotel after an evening out & entered through the doors near Level Up. Heard a band warming up & decided to hang out & see what they played. We ended up hanging out for a few hours listening to "Original Chaos". They were really good & played our kind of music - metal/rock. Will definitely visit next time we're in town.
The event I came for was great. The venue is much better than the images make it look. The service left something to be desired. I watched multiple waitstaff all working one side of the room while the other was completely ignored. Non-alcohol beverages are very overpriced ($4.50 for a 10 Oz soda) as well.
There are not many vr arenas out there and this one does not disappoint. The equipment works and they keep it clean. The staff is helpful but not very engaging or interested in what they do. My biggest complaint is just how abandoned the place looks. Every time we come we think they're closed.
Went last night for Latin Night and good vibes all around?? people dancing and good drinks! would definitely visit again
This is not really a Barcade like I thought. It was still really cool and chill! The people were nice, the music was good and the bartender was pleasant. A good vibe overall. I liked the art on the pillars and I remember the chairs being comfy. :)
Cam to Vegas to check this out and it's closed! Says open
Online schedule posted live band karaoke. Band Nightline ROCKED the evening though!!!
This arcade entertainment space is located inside of the New York, New York casino and hotel in Las Vegas. We decided to come hang out here to wait for the end of the UFC fight at Coyote ugly because the cover was elevated at that time for anyone who wanted to see the fight. On the lower level of New York, New York, You will find this arcade, but there were a lot of issues there. I like to shoot pool, but the tables were not well maintained in that they were full of stains and of the two tables they had dir
Bartender James was incredible! Venue was absolutely dead and management in ref zebra shirts wouldn't let us play beer pong with empty cups before we got chewed out. Highly recommend skip venue.
Country night was awesome fun. And i typically do not enjoy country music. But the live band was so entertaining and the company was sublime. Yummy drinks too.
Played VR game with the hubs. While a bit $$$ for only 30 minutes of play it was fun and our game master was great and played with us. Totally fun cool guy. Now for the bar itself.....I have never come across such rude and uncaring bartenders. We went there once in the early afternoon guy was a total tool....asked for drinks made it slid them over done. No smiles to small talk nothing just annoyed we were there....mind you there was only 3 other people on that bar. Came back at night and figured maybe this
Good place I guess to get a drink and play some billiards. Otherwise not the best arcade around here. More adult oriented and less family fun.
So much fun!!! We felt like we were at a concert! Great music!
Fairly basic arcade, decent stop to take a break and wind down on my journey down the strip.
Level up was so popular, it was booked out the first day we tried to go. Once we got booked in the following day, we had a choice of three VR programs they were currently running. We did the zombies and it was awesome! I've been here multiple times, every time is amazing and would definitely come again. Free locker during VR session, $50 for 30 min of VR. Worth it!
Level up is has horrible service. How is there only 1 bartender and 1 server during a Sunday night football game. So the place is packed and me and my wife Saturday there for 50 min without 1 drink. Nobody acknowledged us until I had to yell across the place for the server after sitting there for 45 min. Nice concept but poor management and poor service. We will never be back and I will make sure to let others no jot to waste their time!
Very fun atmosphere! Great bar to visit in Las Vegas!
Really loved the live music. The drinks were a bit expensive but still we all had a great time. Maybe they could invest in more comfortable chairs/stools?
Seemed pretty cool. I mostly only played pool which were right beside the massive Jenga blocks that seem to crash down and cause me to lose... Not because my lack of skill. My friend went to the bar and got his drink pretty quickly and did not miss this chance to shoot would go here again to hang out with friends.
Fun place with live music when we were there. Great environment . Cons are lines at the bar are long and they are pricy. Overall good experience and once you wait in line and pay the price. We will be back.
We went to 80's night at the MGM Grand and really enjoyed the band, and it happened to be the same band as last year. Drinks were a little small (12oz) for the price, but hey, it's Vegas
Super cool bar with a really cool setting. They even have a mini bowling alley nearby and my friends and I had a ball there (pun intended)!! Only drawback is they don't give cups of water for free, only $7 bottles of water.
Cool games and great selection of drinks and tap beers. However, bartenders lacked a smile and were slow. Additionally, they do not allow cigars, but let vapers and cigarette smokers have free rain.
It's alright. Been far better places......we played the pac-man gm on the big screen. It sucked. Joystick kept sticking and both of you will be playing @ the same time. Already had drinks from outside so don't bother spending @ the bar.
Good service from the bar and the game selection is awesome! Remember to play a game of mini bowl!
Band was great , good vibe. Down side is the price for a drink. $37 for a picture of beer. Cheaper to go drink somewhere else. Not impressed.
Was there last night with a group of friends. We sat around the bar trying to order drinks for a solid 10 minutes and the 3 people working in the bar would not serve us. I could understand if the bar was busy but there was no one in the bar. They wouldn't even acknowledge us. Ended up just leaving since it was a waste of time.
Cool spot to sit and chill that has pool tables, arcade games, and sports on the t v as well as a bar. They set up and all the couches make it great for large party's.
I've never experienced a ruder bartender and felt gaslit for asking for water, like it was the craziest ask, after ordering several drinks. Sorry water doesn't cost the same as a cocktail but I'd like to get out of Vegas alive.
Read the reviews. I thought maybe it wouldn't be that bad. No. The bar tenders really do seem to hate their lives or something. They were extremely rude. It's a loud environment. I understand things can be misheard. My drink wasnt what i wanted. I re stated what i wanted. The bar tender exclaimed I was wrong, that's what I asked for, then proceeds with, "so, what? Youre not gonna drink it?" No. I wasnt. He fixed the drink with an attitude. It's a cool concept, but lacking the fullness. They lack games. It'
Was super excited to take a couple friends here for a great night out but we were really let down. The website makes it look like this is some massive, immersive playground with arcade games and other chance machines and set ups. Well when we arrived, to our surprise its not even like its own independent venue. Instead it looks like a random corner of a casino that someone was like, "Yeah we need something here, how about like a foosball table and some big screens. We'll market it as a Dave and Busters mee
Went there, our very first time and we were super excited to do the VR experience. Well, as we are getting our intro, wouldn't you know, the power goes out. When they finally figure it out it was a sucks for you scenerio. Also, instead of intially offering our $50 back (a steep price) they wanted to give us a food and beverage credit or we could chat me back tommorow (locals have to pay for parking and that would cost us even more money. Had to tell them we wanted our money back, which we have to wait and s
This arcade might be a nice treat for kids looking to spend time but other than that there is not much appeal to this place, especially if you are a grown up, not looking for video games. The bar doesn't really help. There are plenty of other things to do in this city.
Always a good time. Love playing beer pong. Also, the bartenders make a legit drjnk. The band always sounds good. One my favorite spots on the strip.
Rude workers all around. Don't sit on their couches for too long or they will send different workers over with irrelevant questions trying to get you to leave. Looks like a cool place, not a friendly environment to be around at all. Other places in the hotel with friendlier employees.
What an experience!! We did the Outbreak Origins game. It was so much fun! The graphics and being put into the game was extremely fun. The teams are split evenly so keep that in mind when going to play. When it's time to take the elevator to your mission get your group and go fast to make sure you are on the same team. It gets hot with all of the activity so you WILL sweat. It's a good fun sweat. I didnt give it a 5 only because there were several technical difficulties with the packs but I would absolutely
A neat little place to hang out away from the casino. They have shuffleboard, hand bowling, old arcade games like Street fighter and pac man. They also have beer pong, regular ping pong tables, darts, and they do karaoke some nights. Bummed they they took out the automatic craps that were there last year, as they were our favorite place to play with 50 cent bets. It's a great place to people watch too
Very friendly and helpful. Made a great Old Fashioned but they didn't have any rye whiskey. Kind of pricey.
We tried the VR experience. The game was fun, we were playing with a few strangers which worked out pretty well. Unfortunately it seems like despite the high price tag, VR isn't really ready for prime time yet. During our single game we had to pause for several minutes twice: once so a player could change into a completely different unit as theirs had broken, and again later so one player's unit could be rebooted and dropped back into the game. The arena is also right behind the big televisions servicing
This place is sooo cool! Fun fun fun!! Virtual reality ?zombie killing? was the best. I will admit that at first i was hesitant about the idea of it. Didn't think it was going to be much fun, but once we were in there and played...man was it a blast!! Great to have a group of friends all do it. Not just virtual reality there, but an arcade and other fun activities to do. Nice kick back environment!
A friend and I were wandering around MGM and stumbled across this place, it had a pretty good 80s 90s cover band and a lot of fun games. Fun spot.
Good try at a casino arcade bar, poor execution. Paid $14 for a rail bourbon and coke, then was told that I would have to vacate my barstool if someone came along who wanted to play the table top video poker. Micromanaging the customers is a great way to get me to leave after one drink. I don't blame the bartender himself, I'm sure he's following orders. It was 7pm, not even busy. If you bring drinks from somewhere else (allowed) you can probably manage to make this place fun for a bit. Also, they won
The band on friday 9/10 was AMAZING. we were heading back to out room when we heard them playing... Great music ended up staying in the bar for 3 hrs and to many drinks lol
Nice gaming bar with lots of screens and seats. A bit unpopulated for covid but that's to be expected. Me and my buddy tried out the VR zombie experience and had an absolute BLAST. would definitely go again
I played the VR zombie survival. Game had glitches with the weapons, but fun. Would have been well worth the $50 if it worked correctly. Staff was helpful and did all they could to fix the issue. Would have been good to have received a refund for the continual problems with the gun tracking.
Reminds me of a warehouse bar. The kind with pool tables and video games. The games require a card to play. The card dispenser was broken, so no video games. There was a live band as well that was pretty good though.
Thought this would be a neat experience. Sadly mistaken, actually kind of bummed out that it was so over priced. If the staff was a touch friendly er and the games where 100% working proper I wouldn't even mind the prices. But these employees seem to just not care. (Won't hire anyone for my bar/club if this place is on there resume that's for sure.)
$16 for a shot of Captain Morgan. Bartender won't give change to play the games that are in their own bar. Only two broken pool cues. Waited 20 minutes to order a cup of water only to find out they require you to buy a bottle for $6.50. I won't be back.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
