Customer Reviews

Level 2 has the best prices on all things gaming. The owner Jeff is a genuinely nice guy whether you want to talk gaming or just get a fair deal. Great selection on retro video games and consoles, card games, and more. Friday night MTG draft routinely fires. Worth stopping in.

Very cool little local card/pinball shop. It's a definitely ?blink and you'll miss it? type shop. They have a wide variety of different card games they offer. However they mostly specialize in Pok?mon and MTG. They have a couple display cases of various retro video games for sale as well as many different arcade games up and running. Prices of everything was super fair and even beat some of you big box stores. They also have a large side game room for tournament?s and events. I 100%enjoyed my time here and

Great family fun. Love that they have lots of old video games you can also purchase. There are different pinball machines you can play as well. Best to take quarters or small bills to play the games. Best its open late on weekends.

The shop felt dirty and pretty unorganized overall. Unfortunately, the card room had a strong, unpleasant odor?bad enough that my son felt sick while we were there. Definitely not the environment we were expecting.

Excellent store! Great games in stock, lots of awesome pinball, and card games like mtg always going on! Definitely go there to check it out!

Jeff is always a pleasure to see and do business with. I have never had anything close to a bad experience in all my years shopping here. 10/10 recommended! Best shop around!

Quiet, little, small business. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Pinball machines available to play (didn't catch the price). Looks like they also host game events.

Nice little shop. If you are looking for older console games I recommend this place. They had a decent selection of Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Super Nintendo, and other older console games. Had some card games and table top games. Also I can't forget to mention the 7-8 working pinball machines they had there as well! The person working the register was friendly as we were greeted coming in and leaving. Definitely worth a visit. And the prices on the games seemed like they are comparable to other used game selle

It's one of the best card shops around. They have great prices on all of their packs of cards, and they offer one of the best prices around when selling cards. Staff are all friendly and they have games you can play like pinball. Also, they sell older Nintendo games and sega games, plus many other game system games.

Very nice store I enjoyed it! Awesome selection of modern to retro video game consoles and games! Level Two Games also has a great selection of Pok?mon from vintage to modern and other TCG! Definitely worth the trip! Highly recommend if your into this type of hobby! Staff is also very friendly!

One of the best stores to play cards and hangout at in the state. The store owner is really chill and cool. Good selection of video games too! Prices are the best in the area!

We stumbled across this shop when attending a library event, and we have returned several times since. We live in the Cleveland area, but travel out at least once a month to shop there since. Lots of cool vintage pin ball machines, competitive card/board games and a very nice collection of uncommon video games. The owner is very friendly, and everything I've bought from there has been in near mint to mint condition. I've picked up several harder to find ps3 games, as well as older Pokemon card singles.

Level Two Games in Avon Ohio is everything I love in a gaming shop. New School and Old School Classic gaming systems, games, card games, miniature games, Pinball and Arcade Games, the list goes on. On top of the Excellent Selection it is owned and operated by one of the nicest most down to earth knowledgeable guys in the business, Jeff. Whenever I'm in town I make it a point to stop off at Level Two Games in Avon Ohio and I hope you do to.

Wow what a great experience. I didn't catch his name but the owner of level 2 was super helpful finding the cards I came in to buy. He even threw in some low dollar land cards for free which was just awesome. If you're looking for Magic singles and fairly priced boosters make the trip to level 2!

Great place! The owner Jeff is a great guy and they have VERY good prices and a wide selection of video games, card games, board games, Playmats, and more. The vintage Pinball machines are cheap to play and awesome!

Great shop , tons of fun for everyone ??????

Great little community, always in stock of cool retro consoles and games, welcoming people, and even have their own game tournaments. Couldn't ask for more! I definitely recommend stopping by. He even hooked up a console for me I had a question about, most stores never do that and will just offer you a warranty.

I love this card shop great guy has out of print packs and sells them 1$ less then msrp

Great shop and very personable, helpful and accommodating owner. Loved the games, the Magic cards & other Magic paraphernalia, and fun pinball machines. Thanks for everything, Jeff!

Workers are great! Prices are fair, and I found what I was looking for.

I had driven past the shop a few times and finally I had the time. My husband and I were super excited because we love support small local owned businesses. We decided to go in and pick up a few things. When I went in the shop I was no greeted. The employee turned and looked, didn't say anything and then went back to his conversation with the other customers who were in there. I walked through the whole place and was never spoken to until I found what I needed. I was looking at some dice by the regi

Shopped here many times and I will say it is easily my favorite. Jeff is the best and the prices are much better than most other places! I SPECIFICALLY come here to talk with him and save more. Highly recommend to anyone interested in card games, Warhammer, video games, or really anything involving games

This place is great. I got a good price on a Master System and a few games. Great prices on other items too. The owner was also very nice. He even let me open up a Nintendo cartridge to check for something. Unfortunately, I dont live in Ohio so I probably won't be back for a while. This place beats all the retro game stores around me. Highly recommended.

I always have fun when I come here. We came a little bit before close (we weren't trying to be jerks, we didn't know they closed at 10 ??) he let us stay a little bit longer to play. Thanks man, you rock! It made my day because I passed all my college finals and it was like a little celebration.

Level Two games is my goto Local gaming store. The Owner is someone who's always eager to help me start building my newest deck, or talk to me about an old video game that I might have missed. The place is friendly, comfortable and packed with games, from old classics to play on home consoles, or the assortment of Pinball machines and arcade cabinets that the owner rotates out to keep the gaming fresh! He hosts plenty of events and I find myself at Commander nights on Wednesdays pretty often. If you're look

Wow what a gem in Avon! They have a great selection of retro video games and consoles at great prices! Friendly service! Magic and Pokemon and more! Pinball and arcade machines you can play. Awesome place!

My original review of Level Two Games was really short. Let's fix that! This cute little card and game store came up when I first met my boyfriend who was somewhat of a regular at the store. The store does have pinball as well. I'm terrible, but it's still a lot of fun. The storefront is absolutely spotless and welcoming. I never knew I liked shops like this until I started comimg here. Level Two Games is that one card store you didn't know you needed in your life. Jeff, the owner, is honestly probably on

A very versatile selection of everything from trading cards, to board games, video games and more. Definitely worth stopping by.

A great LGS for MTG but then you add pinball and arcade games in the mix and it truly becomes a cut above any other card store in the area. Fun atmosphere and friendly owner, definitely recommended.

Great place to just chill and play some game pinball to d and d and other old-school arcade games they have candy's drinks even Nintendo games for sale as well as paint for model builds.

I commute from Canton to play here at least 1-2 times a month. It is a great shop with awesome employees, fun fellow gamers, and unique events.

Had plenty of products, staff are nice and responsive to text messages. If you have any retro game needs or any tabletop gaming needs this is where you should start. Never have I found paint organised in a manner that makes logical sense.

Friendly local game store.

Love this place! Jeff is so helpful and spent time talking with my grandson about Magic cards and building decks and all that stuff grandmas know nothing about. He really knows the game! We'll be back often!

Best card store in Lorain County. Owner is awesome and everyone is super helpful. Yugioh, Magic, Pokemon, Warhammer, DnD, etc They have it all.

Awesome new gaming store. Is just getting into Warhammer but will order anything they don't carry. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Glad to have them in the area.

Safe is very helpful, very fair pricing, lots of space, and has pinball machines.

Had about eight pinball games that were all excellent. They had about four old video games but I was only there to play pinball. Plenty of parking in the back if the lot in front is full.

Best place around for magic the gathering and other card games. Owner is nothing but kind and helps promote a wonderful atmosphere.

Great place. Great selection. Really nice to have a Retro store so close. If you want to go to a retro store, or play pinball that's not an hour away, check this place out. Owner is super nice and helpful to.

Cashier was very nice and went out of his way to help me when I came to get a gift for a friend. Great service, if I lived in the area I'd be a regular for sure ??

Baring some unforeseen circumstance I'm pretty sure I found my go-to store for Magic and "vintage" gaming... as much as I loath the idea of a Playstation game being considered "vintage". The guy behind the counter, not quite sure how I didn't catch your name, could not have been any more helpful in answering my Magic questions. As a returning, long time fan of the game, I could not have been luckier to find a place like this and will return post-haste.

Perfect for the card gamer in your life! Love the pinball games!!!! Super nice people always willing to help me find the stuff for my hubby!

Level Two Games is a small business focused on providing games of all styles and eras. Level Two buys, sells and trades games. These include retro video games, modern video games and a variety of card games, in addition to having an arcade available for public coin-drop play. Level Two Games also hosts many events such as pinball tournaments, video game tournaments and a variety of tournament or free play events for trading card games.

Best card and hobby shop around! Jeff gets the products in and keeps his shop tidy and organized! Always feel welcomed coming in!

Had some of the most loved pinball games! People are nice abs they have a Sunday pinball league

First time in the store. My friend pointed out that they had a Streetlight Manifesto poster on the wall, which was a nice touch. Then, a brief moment later, without saying a word, started playing ska music over the store stereo system. We skanked our way thoughout their entire establishment and had a great time. Basically amazing! Best place to pinball or play table top games. Excellent selection of board games, console games, magic the gathering, Warhammer, and much more!

Awesome selection. Husband found several rare games he's been searching for months for. Would definitely stop back again if we are in the area.

Great place. Clean store, good selection & great customer service. Atari-Current Gen games & consoles PLUS pinball machines.

One of the bigger table top shops in the area, good amount of table room. Could use a better packing lot, but its not their fault they're in that location.

Fantastic place to do a magic draft/pre release with bigger prize pools than most stores, free sleeves for sealed events, and a fun group of regulars.

Would come again. Got a WII U for only $150, the place is very clean, and the owner(?) is very friendly. Will be back soon

Honest and fair prices on everything. I have never had a bad experience.

11/10 service and store as a whole. Jeff and the crew are not only helpful but always are open to chat and talk shop! Glad I found this store, only wish I found it sooner!

Great locally owned game store. Pin ball machines are why we go.

Love it. Owner of the store very nice and chill

Friendly associate, very helpful. Helped us find what we were looking for. Decent selection of old school games.

The store was an odd place. As I was walking I saw two men standing at the counter, one them with half of a magic the gathering card in his mouth.

Horrible experience here with my family!! J. Never greeted us or asked if we needed help.

A few arcade machines, a few pinball machines. Mostly just old platform video game cartridges and discs for sale. Not sure how they stay in business but I'm glad they are there.

Great place for retro gaming systems. Prices are very competitive. Excellent selection.

Nice selection of arcade games to play and old games to buy. Awesome place to spend some time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
