Customer Reviews

People were super helpful and it was a fun place that my son loved! Definitely will be back to use the batting cages for him to practice.

Definitely a nice place to visit if you are interested in a night of fun! I have been roller skating for about 22 years and I have started to frequent Zone One for the Adult Skate night on Sundays and the Lady's night on Thursday's. The roller rink is very lively and youthful! The staff and security are all pleasant. There is a bar/snack area if you want to eat and have a drink while you are there. The sound system is great, but on occasion there are technical difficulties that make the music stop complet

I was highly disappointed with this establishment. I expected to get a great experience for my twins birthday party. I decided on this place due to convenience of location and the photos that showed a variety of things to do for children of all ages. I definitely feel I over paid for my party package. The cost shouldn't have been no where near $400+ but closer to $200 MAYBE. The place was dirty, despite seeing someone pretending to mop the floor for 45minutes. The food was from little ceasar, despite you'r

My friends and I went here a couple weeks ago to celebrate a birthday. Workers were really friendly and the music was great. Great price too considering you pay for the ticket and skates together. I would recommend hanging out here for a good time.

Horrible place!! The bartenders are ghetto. She took my money and never served me the drinks I bought. So much for a ?Grand opening?. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reply so I have edit my review. If you looked over your cameras you would see that your ?bartender? was rude from the get go. Others noticed it as well. She kept avoiding serving my friends and I. She finally took my order, my money ($40) and walked off. She started serving other people but never came back over with my drinks. I kept waving my ha

This is the old Arena on Main & Amherst. It's now called Zone One. The place was packed. My roommate & I went with mutual friends & had a Blast. Adults only on Sunday with proper NY State ID. It's $15 per person but it includes skate rental. The atmosphere was lit, the DJ was on point & so was the Bar. Yes you read right, they gotta Bar. We just might do this every weekend. I just gotta go get some Rollerblades because I'd feel more comfortable on them ??

Place is good. Just a suggestion for everyone: Keep your shoes at safe place or get a locker, they misplaced one of my shoes. Apart from that, the place is really good and enjoyed a lot. Its better to go at 4pm on saturday if you do not want to go their when its crowded. Staff and management is helpful.

Too expensive, $25 to skate and the music cut off for 20-30 minutes. Others said the same issue occurred the week before. And the floor had some ripples in it which were not as smooth as I'd like under my skates. Will be nicer when these things are fixed.

I paid $400 for my daughter's birthday party and this place was horrible!!! The music kept going off, the lights went out, only about 4 games was working, they only had about 5prizes to choose from when you win tickets, they ordered me pizza from Little Caesar. This was some straight up BS & I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! I FELT LIKE I DESERVED MY MONEY BACK. MY DAUGHTER DIDN'T ENJOY HERSELF. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

Thursday Nights are apparently for the DJ that only plays Rave. So sad. No one skating. How can you with a 18yr old bein a DJ. Staff is wonderful, Great Place to skate...but not on Thursday!

Very good experience for my sons birthday party tonight . Food was hot fresh good and reasonably priced . Guest service excellent the place was clean and my kids and guest had a great time and the party package was very much reasonable thank you guys

Great time after not being in that building in over 30yrs brought back great memories of my teenage years and fun time. Took my youngest kids told them all about the80's and how the arena was love how zone 1 brought it back all i was missing was grand master flash and the furious 5 freedom and i would have got extra busy on the floor ?? keep up the good work zone 1aka arean.....Tone clark?

This place charged on my debit care and I don't know anything about this place, people kill me stealing from other people. I reported thus, ya'll be careful of the thieves

If I could hit a negative star I would had my grandson's party October 31st schedule between 4:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. we arrived the room was not decorated so they rushed and just threw some gs up the party favors were in sandwich bags we never received the virtual invitations as promised the pizza didnt arrived until 6:30 they kicked us out the room at 6:15 I asked if I could bring extra pizza they said No we have a kitchen but the pizza was outsourced. We had guests who couldn't skate because they didn't

Let me DJ and it was great. Sidenote for the Sunday crowd... Please drink water. Yawl skin dried out. The staff was incredible, the food smelled good, the Steelers lost... Good times.

Great time at my 1st rave!!

I came to the building to actually to see how this building actually looked inside After being close for years This building used to be amazing I used to skate here every weekend i moved to GA I skate in Atlanta and I skate 3 times a week at legendary cascade golden glide and also sparkles and sometimes at stone mountain skate when ther a big sk8 partys like sk8athon over 2000 skaters or jive Biscuit look it up !!!! this use to be one of the biggest buildings in Buffalo New York to go skating besides Thru

Level one complex service is horrible , I don't recommend hosting and or having any parties at this place they are so unprofessional and are overly greedy with income because they were still trying to allow people in after it was maxed compacity , overall DONT RECOMMEND.

Very Nice Establishment Like The Remake Think It Should Be An Age Limit On Sunday Night Skating Just So The More Mature Crowd Has A Place To Be Entertained.

Not a true rating, more of a question. Does this place offer skating lessons for adults?

Great place for families plan on returning again with all my kids. Food is great as well. Support your local businesses.

Great places but can need of new skates. Also places that sell food should offer why the food may not be available that day.

The place was understaffed. Bartenders looked confused on who gets what when people order drinks. I will not be attending any further events.

This place was cool. I loved it first going on a Thursday and it was lit. Food great music on poiny

Great establishment. Big nights are on Thursdays and Sundays... your best bet is to get there around or before 9:15

I had a ball here safe fun mature environment definitely a hidden gem if your in town....

Great service, great people, safe and disinfected establishment. Food is great. Kids enjoyed, adults enjoyed. Family Entertainment.

I had an amazing time at Zone one. The staff was friendly and the vibe was perfect... im definitely going again

Chilled for abt 2hrs knew a lot of people there cause im known around the city lol...but it was very good and fun

Cheap and nice...but dirty bathrooms, uncharged bumper cars , no walkers for the little ones...looks like they are building another area for play which should be fun for the kiddos ...has a lot of potential ...

A good time. Good food. Nice crowd. Can't wait to go back.

Very nice updates. Good place to have a party for children ot adults.

We had a great time. Great prices for the kids

Hours not up to date. Drove over an hour to come in a Thursday night when it's advertised as opening at 8 just for them to be closing

I gave you one star because I almost slipped and fell from the water coming from the ceiling. After you get that fixed I will think about giving you two stars. That should be your number one priority

It was quite an experience. Haven't been there in over almost 30+ yrs. When I was coming there as a kid and it was ARENA SKATING at the time

They close earlier then they say. But nice place.

Great space. Friendly staff. Would love to make this place a regular stop

It was nice for kids to just jump and climb and run. Wish there was one in Buffalo

I got shot the other night here, drinks were pretty cheap tho ??

If y'all was gon throw a party atleast have the floor dry an working skates available

Chicken is over cooked and only the girls care about service. Males too distracted

Good fun and nice settings for young or older crowds

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
