Our family had so much fun here. The man guiding the go carts took time to instruct and show my niece how to drive it and let her go around the track a few times. He made sure she was safe and felt comfortable. The establishment is clean, friendly and fun..

They were fantastic! The man running the track held the line just to teach my 8 year old how to drive the go kart. Incredibly kind and personable ??

My family and I love coming to Leisure Park! Its a small family owned park thats has 2 putt putt golf courses, arcade, pool tables, air hockey tables and a small bumper race car track for kids 48 " or taller. Reasonably priced and we always have fun no matter how many times we've been. They also have soda, water and some snacks available.

Place was friendly and it is a great place for kids. My 9 yr old loved playing miniature golf but nothing beats riding the go-karts!

Great place!! Awesome carts!! Kids really had a blast!!

We loved this small family owned and operated business. From Go-Cart racing to Putt-Putt Golf. It was a great experience for the family. Everyone was super friendly! Will definitely go again!

Old school mini golf course, arcade, and go kart racing but customer service went above and beyond. The gentleman running the go karts recognized that 4 of our children have never driven a go kart and had them go separately to not impeed other customers experience and so he could watch them more carefully and control their speed if needed.

One of the only fun places in this town to take your kids to! We all had a blast!

Had a great time, staff was really friendly, He rode with my 6 year old granddaughter to teach her because she was scared.. She had an absolute blast. Thank you so much

Great little place! It's not flashy, new, or full of the latest stuff, but it's awesome! My kids had the best time on the go-karts. $21 for 3 to ride!

This place is Awesome!!! Myself, my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, son & his girlfriend. We rode go karts, played pool, air hockey, & ran out of time before we could hit the arcade & play miniature golf. Leisure Park is family owned & operated!! The owner took special care on the go karts to point out the double seater carts with small kids in them & also pointed out first time drivers so all could be safe & have fun. Such an awesome pace !! Keep up the great work. Leisure Park Family!!

Leisure park is definitely pretty old school small town, but it's fun and nice enough for kids and families. It's the only place I know of like this in the surrounding areas. The arcade is small and early 90's and back at best, but everything worked. The pool tables and air hockey tables are clean and functional. Currently one of the mini golf courses is being renovated, but they have 2. It's nice and functional, but definitely nothing fancy. The go karts are fun. Again, nothing fancy or fast and furious, b

I was just visiting Sedalia from Alaska, and Leisure Park quickly became absolutely the most fun I have had in years!!! I have driven go carts before, and it was an absolute blast ??. The people who run it are super nice, and fun to talk with! And it is not unlikely that I will come back just to ride the go carts again!!! The best way to have fun in Sedalia MO, is to go to Leisure Park with a group of friends and ride go karts!!! The prices are very fair, and we'll worth the fun!!!??????

I always go out there to have fun; Mostly to play pool. Staff are always nice and treat you like family walk in the door and the go carts are fun for all ages. And mini golf is good to. Would recommend to kill time or just have go old fashioned fun.

My son and I go there every summer to play pool (6 pool tables available), ride go karts, play mini golf and the arcade games. It's a family owned business. If you have never been to this place, you should go check it out.

Had a great time! Son's first time to drive! Made his day and his birthday!

My daughter was meeting a group of her friends at the movies but they were not opened on time so the girls all decided to go to Leisure Park for the miniature golf and Go-carts. This place is a small, family owned business and the girls had a blast between the golf, go-carts, and arcade. There is nothing like it in the area unless you go out towards Kansas City so it was a fun, local activity.

Awesome Fun Family Time! Great owners, vintage games, clean, and best of reasonable prices!

The old school arcade games were a cool discovery, but that race track was AWESOME!! So much fun! Surprisingly affordable, definitely will go back (we didn't even have kids with us when we went!)

Amazing family friendly fun! The owners are the nicest people you will meet. They went out of their way to help my son get over being scared of driving a go cart! 10/10

Leisure Park was so much fun! It was nice and clean; very well maintained. My husband and I went there for a date night and will definitely be going back with the kids!

The 2nd best family fun we.ve had this year. And at the go karts, the man was very attentive and gave crash courses to one of our kids and made her feel confident of herself driving one alone. Was very awesome.Thank you!

Love taking my nieces and nephews here to play mini golf or ride go karts or play pool or air hockey. Nice place for a family outing and not very expensive either. I enjoyed going here as a young child myself.

This place was a perfect find for our family. We enjoy coming here every other Friday or Sunday for a perfect little ride with kiddos. They love it so are we.. definitely recommend

Was alot of fun .. until they guy told us to be easy on the tires . It's go carts lol suppose to have fun while your on them . Would of been ok but was rude about it with my 5 year old grandson riding it with me .

Family friendly atmosphere at a very family friendly price. Things are pretty basic, but still fun. Keeping things basic helps keep the prices down.

I have fond memories of visiting here for my birthday when I was a kid. I had allot of fun - maybe a little too much fun playing air hockey. ??

The Go-Karts aren't the best. The mini golf greens are a little bouncy and the max stroke count is a little low. We got rushed out but we did show up fairly late. Nonetheless we had a great time!!! We will be going back.

What l like about Leisure Park is everything;the employees, the go karts, the golf course, the arcade. There are no dislikes. Pure, family fun.It is family entertainment to me.

What a great place, great prices, and great people!! Truly enjoyed visiting with their staff!! Definitely makes you feel like family!!

We always have fun as a family when we go to leisure park. The go cart racing is the best part... We haven't went to the golfing side because it was closed.

Great place to spend an afternoon with the fam, This family fun park is kind of a hidden treasure in Sadelia it offers go carts video games air hockey and pool and don't forget two mini golf courses outback. There's a snack bar with drinks and chips and other snacky stuff. Their pricing makes it even better.

So much fun! My film had a great time playing mini golf and riding the go carts.

What a fun place. Nostalgic! Video games, pinball, putt putt, billiards and go carts. Bar box pool tables with new cloth. Putt putt was a good time. Woman behind the counter was very kind.

Lots of family fun. The go karts were awesome. John Deere cart was fast compared to others I have driven.

Had nice pool tables and games inside, but the mini golf course didn't look good, boards lying in the middle of the course and grass was tall.

Very kid friendly Earl was great and we had a good time

Go carts we're a blast ! Mini gulf great. Pool tables need reworked. Service with a smile ??.

Go kart is boring and the place could use some fixing up but the mini golf is nice ???? Not great hours tho

Great place for the family. Highly recommended. Go carts mini golf and games.

Fun place to bring the family, relatively cheap for a good experience. Could use a little updating but overall good family fun!

Staff are really nice! Great place to bring young people

It's a fun place to take your kids. And also the employees are nice and caring..

Really? Closed because of this virus that is less dangerous than the common flu. Give me a break. Just lost all of my interest. I'll make sure to let everybody know about it too.

Great time but not so friendly younger kids inside. I felt like an inconvenience to interupt the ticket girl to purchase mine

Owners are excellent. The place is clean. My kids had an excellent time for a reasonable price.

Had fun there with mini golf, air hockey and pool even did the go carts but the older gentleman working out there was very rude.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
