Amazing place run by a wonderful couple. Lots to do for kids, teens, and anyone young at heart. Nostalgia going all the way back to pinball and dig dug, plus a variety of other games plus claw machines and even a massage chair for the grown ups like me trying to keep up!
We live an hour and a half away but our son loves this place so much we come out once or twice a month on average! Fun for the whole family! I get to play pinball my wife plays Pac-Man my son racks up tickets and the baby loves all the lights! Awesome staff and an awesome environment. Thanks legends!
We had our son's birthday party here and it was amazing!! The kids all loved it. The staff were so kind and accommodating. We booked the party room, it was affordable and set up really nicely. We were super thankful and will definitely be back again!
Had a great time with my brother, his wife and my friend. Reminded me of the arcades when I was a kid. Games were a mix of older classics, some newer oddities and the traditional ticket machines. Prizes to exchange for range from candies to a sweet electric pit bike. 5 stars is not enough. 10/10 best arcade on the Oregon coast in my opinion.
My kids and family love this place. My son's been asking to go everyday since he went weeks ago. Classic games and great options. This small town needed something like this
Such a cute little place, machines used actual tokens and gave tickets, it was my first time experiencing that. We were only visiting town but we loved it.
If you have kids I highly recommend visiting this place. Compared to the arcade we have in Medford, it is wayyyyyy better. Games are cheap, lots of choices, and the staff member we dealt with was the coolest. Please give them your business they deserve it.
Lots of fun new things to do. There are lots of prizes to win. There are lots of games to play and snacks & drinks
Took my grandson there for his 11th birthday. We had a blast! This place brought back so many memories of the first arcades that opened up in the late 70's early 80's. Grand parents, do yourselves a favor and spend a little time with your grandkids at this arcade. You will love it!
What a great place to have in our community. So much fun for kids and adults. I had my sons birthday party here. We will continue to support this small business in hopes that it will stay here for years to come. Thank you!
We had the most epic birthday party at Legends Arcade today! If you are looking for loads of fun, nostalgia and a way to keep a bunch of 8 years olds busy...I highly recommend. Very reasonable prices and the staff was amazing!
Such a great place to hang out and nerd it up with a great selection of retro games! I've gotten the top score on Virtual On, as a challenge for all visitors to come ??
My family loved this place. Old school vibes with actual tokens, tickets, etc. No plastic cards. Pinball machines have great action/feel. Some sweet older cabinets like Gauntlet, X-Men, as well as a handful of newer attractions. Kid friendly
Something this town needed! Fun for the kids and for the older and more nostalgic kids at heart.
Legends Arcade is a fantastic place to hang out and have a great time; I'm so glad it's here in Brookings. There are tons of fun games, ranging from classic to new so there really is something for everyone. They have a few pinball machines and skee-ball as well. We especially love their prices, as they are more than reasonable, with most games only requiring 1 or 2 tokens. I feel like the ticket payouts are generous and the prices at the counter for prize exchange are awesome too. The staff are super friend
What fun!!! This place is the best and the owners are even better. Kids and adults can have an absolute blast. Whether you want to spend $3 or $30, you'll be entertained. Brookings has needed this for a long time.
Awesome arcade that doesn't use the overpriced cards, awesome games and lots of fun! My dad beat the dig dug score with 18,000, hope more people play it soon! Highly recommend this place.
Awesome and affordable! Fun for all ages
Awesome place for a fun day with my child. We had a blast, and games are not expensive to play. We had a couple of hours of fun for around twenty bucks.
Fun atmosphere. They have just enough classic old cabinets to make me happy. If they had Joust and Gauntlet it would be perfect.
I can't tell if this place is open yet, I can see there filing as a company 2173550-98 with a listed agent of Ashley Eileen Mcgehee. No phone number/email etc :). Would love to see a list of arcade machines that will be available/grand opening details
It was pretty expensive. Most of the games didn't work.
Best Small Town Arcade Ever! Best arcade prices! Even better arcade staff!!!
Place is super fun. The pinball machines are well maintained and the DDR too.
Pretty standard small arcade. Fun but nothing grand
Great experience! Only problem is it's so far away from home!
Super fun amd great prizes to earn??
Love this place!! ??
So happy to have a fun place for the family.
Fantastic! What a great addition to our town!
This place reminds me of when I was a kid..
Great old school arcade that doesn't empty your wallet. My kids loved it.

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
