We booked 7-9. Didn't get to bowl until 7:30 because the lanes were full. Two people in our group didn't show up so instead of giving me my money back, they said we could bowl an extra half an hour. They shut out lane down at 9:20 in the middle of a game. We ordered pizza at 7 pm and did not get it until 8:30. After we asked several times where our pizza was. Manager said she would take the buffalo chicken wrap off our bill which i already paid for. She obviously never did. Five thumbs DOWN.
Staff were attentive and friendly on a busy Saturday. Food from the bar was fine. We had a great afternoon. Tips work well!
Booked online for a group of 4 and had no issues checking in or getting started. They set up bumpers for us since we had a 4 year old and brought a slide/ramp out for her to use to bowl. Had the hummus and giant pretzel. Both were huge and better than we expected at a bowling alley
Ive been to this place twice now and both experiences were awful. The first time was a few years back we tried to call and reserve a spot and they said just come on in we don't reserve we got lots of spots open. When we got there all lanes were filled and we were told we should have reserved a spot. We went again just recently and everything went wrong from the start. We had a booked time with a party of 8 and we didn't get our lanes until 30 minutes after our booked time. We ordered food and we didn't expe
Its a pretty good bowling alley, it was a little confusing trying to figure out how to play a normal game of bowling. I had to click through quite a few other bowling games on the console before I figured out how to do traditional bowling. Staff were okay, it was a little hard to find someone to help me at the counter but to be fair there were a couple parties going on when I went so they could have just been thinly spread.
We try to bowl in a league on Tuesday nights, but there arr frequent problems with lanes nor working. On this night, our lanes never worked and have been out for more than an hour. Shameful.
Fun time bowling, food was ok, drinks we delicious
My family has been going to Legacy Lanes for a year or two. It's a fantastic bowling alley, bar, restaurant, and axe throwing venue!! We just had our 5 year olds bday party there this weekend and it was just the best time! All ages had fun whether they bowled or not - the food and service were fantastic. Thank you Legacy Lanes and our server Brittany ??
Awesome place to bowl, eat, and drink. More kid friendly during daytime hours. Highly recommend. We had a blast!
Overall just not an enjoyable experience. Was half decent until we were done and my toddler rolled the ball one time down the lane and they charged us for a whole game. Said they "didn't have any way to not charge us" I think what they meant is they don't have the knowledge and/ or care to. Fine with me. There's lots of bowling alleys around
Pretty cool place. Thinking of hosting a party there
Great place and lots of fun to be had here!
Came here for a special "Unlimited bowling until 1am" night and they closed at midnight "because there weren't enough customers for us to bother". No partial refund, just a lazy bait and switch. I was having a blast, it was a great experience, but then we all got kicked out an entire hour early. Fun fact, you may not get what you pay for here, I highly recommend going to a more reputable bowling alley. These guys don't do honest business, and in this day and age getting ripped off is all too common. Please
Our annual Turkey bowl here is always the best time! Lanes are nice, place is clean, and staff friendly!
Food taste amazing and it's super fast theres like no waiting time at all lol, buffalo chicken bites are soooooo good!!! And the fries are just OMG!!! also props to who ever their audio engineer is, this my 3 bar concert iv been to and each person sounds amazing on stage, very well done !!!
I Went to bowl some games today to practice for my upcoming league in a few weeks. I asked for a lane with that was recently oiled as I really don't want to practice on burned up oil patterns. I was informed there were really no oiled lanes. I took the best they had as I was already there. After 1 game and realizing how bad the lane conditions were, I asked the gentleman putting oil down on the first handful of lanes if he could oil the one I was using. I was told no. How disappointing. He was literally rig
Terrible management don't seem to train employees, Parking on weekends atrocious due to bands and place packed earlier with birthday parties seems like this all the time.. back lot always packed. If they knew what they were doing parking on weekends would be upfront as they all leave by 6. Tried giving this place a chance but keep disappointing me. Bowl in league there every other Sat. Tried to roll off. Had to make a reservation then when I'm there the guy tells me I only got an hour. Don't say it to an
This is a great place! The staff is friendly and the food is very good. We attended a family party and had a blast. They keep the place clean, all the machines and lanes were working. The food is also very good - we had pizza and appetizers. You can tell this place fills up quickly.
Had an excellent night out here with my family on a Saturday night. Family and adult friendly, not too crowded. The restaurant inside was a bit pricey but the food was soo good! I had a HUGE cheeseburger (cooked to a perfect medium rare) and the truffle fries were so delicious! We will definitely be coming back to bowl and try more of the delicious food from the restaurant! They also can bring your meal from the restaurant directly over to your bowling lane table which was convenient. I only wish the arcade
Today was my first day at Legacy Lanes and I loved it! The food is pretty good at concession. They even have Pink Lemonade! I love the Retro look of this place the furnishings, the carpet, and the Pittsburgh decor over the lanes is amazing! The Restaurant is also very nice. I had a great time bowling and this place is very nice. It is clean and pretty affordable. I want to go again! They even have a Pro Shop so make sure you check that out if your existing equipment needs some help. Or, if you nee
Always have a good time bowling here. The lanes are nice and a fun place to take family or friends. The food in the concession was decent, you have a selection of things to choose from. They will bring your food to your lane which was nice. You can get a beer if you want and will have to get it over at the Crafthouse. Not a big deal, just thought would mention it. Good selection of beers.
I enjoy bowling although I don't bowl like I used to. Today, I just came out for some fun with my nieces and nephews because one of my nieces was in from out of town. I'm happy to say that this place takes very good care of their lanes and that the experience was enjoyable for someone like me as a competitive bowler. I've been to plenty of places in the early afternoon that don't oil their lanes for open bowling, and the lanes are dry as a bone and I can't keep the ball on the lane. I thought that Legacy L
Food was great, customer service amazing, staff friendly, definitely recommend as a place to hang before a show at the Crafthouse
Bowling Alley is amazing. Very well maintained. Staff was very attentive. The guy working the desk helped us out a lot by helping us put our names in. The snack bar was clean. Tables were clean too. Ordered some food from the Crafthouse (bar/restaurant attached to legacy) and it was awesome. Prices are good too. Will definitely be back in the future.
The overall atmosphere is great. The food from the Crafthouse is delicious and the portions are huge. Parking is an issue with the Crafthouse blocking large portions of the already small lot for valet service, which seriously hampers parking for people who are bowling. I would recommend that if you are planning a weekend night bowling that you check the band who is playing to decide if the parking headache is worth it.
I have been dealing with Zack and his Dad before him; i have always had good quality work done by these gentleman; who take pride in their workmanship. I refer their Pro Shop to people who ask where to go saying they won't be disappointed. I recently have tried to contact the pro shop to get some work done without much suc-cess. I wish them continued luck with their thriving business.
Had grand daughters birthday party there. Real nice place for kids party. Fairly inexpensive compared to other places. Keeps kids busy. Pizza is good and unlimited drinks. Hostess was very helpful.
Pro shop is very knowledgeable about products and offers fair deals. Zack is a professional and takes great pride in his work. Will work one on one with customers to ensure proper style, type, and fitment of bowling ball while thoroughly explaining why each decision was made throughout the process. Greatly enjoyed my experience, would recommend any bowler whether new to the sport or a veteran to check out Zack and the pro shop.
Reserved a table for Steel City Crue.Had a very good time! Waitress was very nice and quick.Would definitely come back.
I'm on a bowl league here. Lanes are nice. People are great and the food is wonderful.
My friends and I showed up to enjoy a night of bowling only to told by the old man behind the counter that although they say they close at 11 we would only get to bowl once. We were kicked out promptly after our one and only game at 9:30. Not impressed and we will not be coming back.
Fun local establishment. Bowl here as part of a league during the winter. Come here in the summer for 1/2 priced food and drinks... food is really good....and entertainment. Bingo on a rainy Tuesday is awesome. Don't drink too much though. It isn't your grandmother's BINGO.
This was a very nice way to spend a Saturday morning with my grandsons. The staff was exceptional. Prices are fair & excellent food. We can't wait to go back!
Took our grandson bowling on Saturday at 11am. The lanes are very clean and there is plenty of staff around if you have any issues. We planned to eat lunch there as we love the Crafthouse. However, we were told that we could only get food from the snack shack as the Crafthouse kitchen wouldn't open till 4pm (although the sign at the snack shack said it opened at 12pm). The food was ok for a snack, but lacking if you're an adult wanting actual food.
This bowling alley does a HORRIBLE job communicating about their hours! They change their hours whenever they feel like it and don't put it on their website or answering service when calling. Both their website and answering machine said they were open! I get there with 4 kids and a lady was sitting out front saying they were closed until Labor Day! I told her that both the website and answering machine said they were open. She didn't seem to care.
This ENTIRE experience was terrible, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were treated like we were an inconvenience to every single person we came into contact with. My husband and I met two other couples here on a Saturday night. I called ahead to see of we could reserve a lane in their 'boutique bowling' area and I was told it was first come first serve. When we arrived, we asked how long the wait was and were told there were parties at each lane and they wouldn't be over until after 11
Food is average (not great but not bad). Pool tables have been removed. The arcade games are horrible. My daughter won 2 bikes saving the tickets at which they never replaced with new ones, I guess they never expected anyone to ever win one. No more prizes and most games have been removed. Laser tag is gone and now they have an escape room. Please tap the like button if you find this review helpful.
Great place to bowl, play video games, and hear a band play!
Good time on a Friday Night bowling!! Everyone is Waring a mask, and trying to have a good time! Now everyone is back to normal at ?? bowling!! and you can order food & drinks. It's all good again!! It's all good!
I came from out of town to bowl and found the lanes to be very clean and well kept. The staff was amazing as well. We had a great time and will recommend our friends to come to these lanes if they want to have fun.
Staff is rude, bathrooms are not well mantained. Wanted a beverage from the cafe could not be served because stuff was under 21 had to wait for someone over 21 to show up. Tables at lanes are not cleaned after the person in front of your party is done bowling. Would not recommend
This is possibly the only place in the area that does walk in ball drilling, and they did an amazing job! Plus, they threw in 2 free games and some powder to put on my hands. I can't wait to come back to bowl! ??
The lane are nice and well functioning. The music isn't too loud. The bar it's a little expensive and the tables very close to each other but overall it's a good Alley
We just had a lasertag party there for a 10 year old girl. The experience was fantastic comparatively. <br>On a five star scale, I'd rate most teenage workers a 1 or 2. I'd rate most adults a 2. I have pretty high standards. So when I say that our teenage party coordinator (I forget her name but in case the owner is reading: long dark hair and ran our 1:30 party on Sat, May 28, 2011) was a solid 4 that means a lot. She was friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive. I never had a problem finding her
The lanes are pretty good, but the approaches have been sticky a few times, especially when it's humid outside. The happy hour is great. After that, beer prices are pretty typical.
Dan was awesome! Very friendly and attentive. Remembered my name and drink selection. Clean restrooms and plenty of activities at this venue. Will definitely return! Thanks Dan!
Staff was very impolite. Went on a normal Saturday afternoon, not sure if they don't like working Saturdays or what. Didn't see one staff member smile.
Very new and modern bowling alley. Decor is very nice, everything is very clean and modern. But they only have 24 lanes, and it does fill up with leagues and parties. It's also on the pricey side compared to other bowling alleys.
Old dude behind the bowling counter is a prick consistently acts like the customers owe him something, really unfortunate we were forced out because he wanted to "go home" 1 hour before posted closing time .... Questionable if I'll be back to bowl On the other note the bar side of this place is bad ass and highly addictive!
Great Sunday morning price. Good lanes. Only thing I could wish for is a tad more oil for the Sunday morning sessions. But I get it since leagues use up all the oil Friday and Saturday I'm sure.
Had a nice time here. The kids had a lot of fun. It is a little dated in the lanes, but the food was decent. Staff was very accommodating.
Great service and great for the kids also good prices. The staff were great, respectful and helpful everytime there was a problem which were none?? Would recommend to anyone to come and have fun!!!
I've been here twice for parties and both times were very fun. The ball return is great, lanes are in very good shape, the bar is well stocked with nice attentive bartenders.
Best bowling alley ever! We like the animations during the games and the food is delicious! Absolutely love this place! Workers are friendly and helpful.
Have been turned away for bowling three consecutive times now. We bought the Amazon Local deal and since they have my money already, they apparently don't care about us. The "tournaments" and "leagues" that were supposed to be bowling weren't there when we walked in, and we were only told that they were "coming in." The last time we were there (12/28), we were actually told by the 17 y/o kid working there that they didn't "have any lanes available for the Amazon Local coupon." If I ever actually get to us
Animal friends hosts "ALLY UP" every year at Legacy lanes. I couldn't imagine a better place! Bowling, Axe throwing, pizza, beer,(Craft House) and raising money for a great cause.
Friendly staff, lanes are always in great condition, good food at the concession stand and great food at the restaurant. Lanes and resturant are great for families. They have a small arcade as well.
Fun New Year's Eve activity. Great tasting food and fun bowling. Not the greatest selection of balls to use.
This is a great place to bowl eat good food and party with an awesome ?? selection on tap!!! Not to forget great entertainment!!! 5 stars to Legacy Lanes and the Craft house!!!
Was a nice and clean place gad a blast and so dud my grandson. But they do need more ramps for the kids they only had 2
Awesome. The young lady who was taking orders at the counter was AWESOME AND SO NICE.
I wouldn't suggest bowling here. The pins set up only partially many times and there's no reset button to fix it. Even though their website states they're open until 10, they informed us at 7:30 that they were closing. They shut off our lanes when we only two frames left to bowl.
Nice bowling alley with friendly staff. We were there really early in the day so it was empty. They have an axe throwing section!
Have been going to all you can bowl on Saturday nights fo awhile now and its always a good time ?? friendly staff and great food
Awesome bowling alley and hopefully you are there on a night when they have a band next door!
I went on a Friday night where they had $15 cosmic bowling (includes shoes & unlimited bowling) from 10pm to close. I highly recommend going!
Don't waste your time or money hours of operation mean nothing they close when they feel like it. A joke of a establishment! I'll make sure everyone I talk to knows about this this!!!!
Food is overpriced, they charge for cover even if your not there for the live band. And if you park in the wrong spot you will towed and it's not cheap.
We had so much fun here! Facility was clean, staff was friendly, and food was good.
$10.95 for a personal size dried chicken salad. Rude staff at the concession stand, eating while cooking.
Tried to go bowling on Sunday got there @540 they said they were closed sign said till 6pm. If they want everybody out by 6 the sign should be closed @5pm.
Great staff in the Crafthouse and lanes! Food is always good and affordable!!
Good food, great customer service AND live music.... Will visit again!
They hosted my child's field trip and were able to handle 75 kids no problem.
Bar/Cigar Lounge/Bowling Alley/Arcade/Live Music/Axe Thowing
Best lanes, best value, and best staff in all of the South Hills for bowling, hands down.
Great place to catch a bite to eat or bowl a few games.
Have never been open when the website says it is at noon who ever the manager is needs fired the pro shop is the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life the kid is so unorganized and doesn't care about any customers unless u r a pro
Nice place to take your family on the weekends there is a gameroom bowling other activties also a snack bar and a restaurant there are adult bevarges its a fun place for all ages!!!highly recommend
Nice bowling alley just don't expect to eat. Who runs out of food on a Saturday afternoon? Probably won't go back
Very nice bowling alley very nice atmosphere good food and a bar nice place to have fun with your friends at
Nice bowling ally. Also a bar next to it with regular live acts. It can be a great day or night out for all.
Went on a Thursday evening. Friendly staff. Friendly customers. Nice lanes. We'll be back.
It was great although after HOURS of waiting for the bowling alley to have a free alley, they closed it
Had a lot of fun there great food, bowling and a few games of pool.
People are great, but had some problems with the lanes.
This place is adorable. Has axe throwing bowling an arcade. Very cool place
Awful no place to park. Had valet svc but they were young kids parking in the snow and ice..not a good idea
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
