Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center

Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center

Reviews Summary

Laser Ops offers a mix of experiences, with many praising its laser tag, Nerf arena, and VR games as fun and competitive, especially for kids and groups. However, frequent complaints cite broken arcade machines, rude staff (particularly management), and overpriced prizes. Food and service quality are inconsistent, with some parties ruined by poor organization. While some find it a great value, others feel it’s overpriced for the issues encountered. The venue shines in activities but falters in maintenance and customer service.

Customer Reviews

Great customer service! This place has rapid response to fix games when they break. We had several games not work properly and they were fixed within minutes. One of the pinballs stopped working and he put up with me asking a million questions about how it works AND was kind enough to explain & show me how they work!! how cool!!!! Shout out to parker for keeping these games running. It's crazy how much he knows at such a young age. Laser tag was also super awesome, we played with 40 other people for an

My kids loved it :) super-duper fun place and all 3 of them , different ages had lots of fun and good time. Made a reservation for my oldest birthday party as well soon. Love it, affordable and the staff was awesome . Must visit And have fun place.

Fun place! Decided to take my teens and their friend. We did the $37 package which included the Nerk Turf - this is a Nerk gun battle. It was about 35- 40 mins - so much fun for adults and small kids. The laser tag was different than what I played previously. I didn't particularly like this style of laser tag but everyone else was having fun. The arcade games were great. Ordered pizza and a pretzel and the food is good. We would defiantly go back.

Nonstop fun for the family regardless of ages. Laser tag was the funniest warm up, and VR was exciting. Refills on the soda was very helpful.

I can't say enough good things about the birthday party we threw for my 9 year old son here. The staff was so attentive, kind and organized. And it was a stress free party for us as parents. The kids had a blast! We did the nerf arena. All the parents who brought their kids said this place is great. The staff was beyond wonderful. I would highly recommend Laser Ops for birthday parties!

Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center is a game-changer for family fun! The virtual reality experiences were immersive and next-level. The arcade is packed with both new and classic games. My teens didn't want to leave the laser tag arena. The staff was friendly and helpful too!

Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center is fun for the whole family. The facility was clean and the games are pretty self explanatory. Be careful about what price bundle packages you choose and the explanations of them. The staff is almost entirely inarticulate, but no one was rude so I can only complain so much. We enjoyed the Tactical Laser Tag, Bazooka Ball, Video Arcade, and the VR Gaming. My son had a blast! Next time we'll try the bar drinks and food too.

Lynn and her team are TOP KNOTCH ! All we had to do was show up and have a BLAST. She had it all covered for us and my team or 20! You made this quarter an amazing experience and a laser tag/nerf battle we will talk about for years to come ! Thank you for welcoming us and all of our it loud personalities with no judgement! We will definitely be back !

It really was alot of fun! My girl found a Groupon that gave us 3 hours unlimited gaming, vr and an hour of lazer tag for 50 bucks! The lazer tag was a highlight, good setup, great arena.

Meee! Smaller than D&B, which I love. Food is ok, typical arcade food options and taste. Food prices are reasonable. The laser tag and VR option ARE a must and worth the 50 min drive over. MACHINES need upgrades. We paid for 2 hrs play and had to keep playing the same 6 games as the others were down.

Just had my 8 year old's birthday here. He and his friends had a hoot. The party rooms- at least the one we were in, are on the smaller side and there's really only seating for the kids in the room. It's basically just a place for them to eat pizza and soda before playing laser tag and arcade. They let us come in early to decorate before the party started. There is a central seating area between the party rooms where adults can hang out. They have a bar for the adults, too. The facility was clean and well

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I am not the type of person to ever complain, or write bad reviews. but this one was called for?..I couldn't believe how they are trying to scam people with such overpriced prizes?.Dollar tree toys for literally 1500 tickets?.Not to mention the 15$ stuffed animal that they were charging 20,000 tickets for. more then half of the games weren't working properly. Basketball pro wouldn't register any of the balls, quick drop was dropping balls randomly which made it impossible to get the jackpo

The place is your typical arcade-style venue, similar to Chuck E. Cheese, with an added Nerf gun area. The kids were especially excited for the Nerf battle, but it ended up being a big letdown. Before the battle even began, there were 8 minutes of instructions ? which felt unnecessary for young children ? leaving them impatient and restless. When the actual game started, the playtime was very short, leaving the kids disappointed. Too many rules for a nerf . Overall, it didn't meet our expectations, and we

Excellent virtual reality machines, bazooka ball, laser tag, arcade, etc... makes this one of Tampa's best indoor fun centers. The laser tag 1 hour games are a good concept, floor space and layout works well for large laser tag groups, but the all-in-one guns with the built-in laser tag sensors are just okay because it's the only sensor that registers laser hits and it can easily be covered up in certain positions, it's definitely not as accurate as the jackets with multiple built-in sensors including the b

The Xtreme Fun Center for Laser Ops is fantastic! We were blown away by VR games like Hologate. There was a lot of action in laser tag. My children adored the arcade games and Nerf Arena. Perfect for weekend fun or birthday celebrations!

We had an absolute blast at Company Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center! The VR games, such as Hologate and HyperDeck, were mind-blowing, and the tactical laser tag was intense and incredibly fun. My kids loved the Nerf Arena and the retro arcade games?there's something for everyone!

??This is a great place to bring your kids and yourself as an adult for they have a bar and a place to sit and eat. ??The manager Lynn???? is not so nice and should be replaced with an younger, nicer and professional, fun manager that doesn't scare the kids with an old bitterly, grouch face in such a good and fun atmosphere.

I was deeply disappointed with my experience at LaserOps. As a mother who has hosted numerous parties at various venues, I have never encountered such a subpar service. The host, Parker, failed to provide adequate attention to my needs. The pricing was also unreasonable, as the quality of service did not justify the cost. For the amount I paid, I expected a more organized and customer-oriented experience. I couldn't even get a cup without an extra cost when the party was over $1,400. Furthermore, the mandat

If a 0 star was an option I would give it. came here for the 1st time and give it a try Lyn the owner helped us at first alot of the game do not work we hit the jackpot on one and didn't award it. Asked if they can reset the claw machine and was told "no we can't no one resets machine" mind you we go to alot of arcades and they do. Not happy at ALL I asked for a full refund of $49 and was laughed at and told no refund. You as the owner should do whatever you can to make your customers happy not sit here and

We had my daughter's 8th birthday there without previously being there before. I read the reviews and made my decision to book the party there and it did not disappoint. Everything is new and clean. The kids had a blast playing the bazooka ball game! The host did a great job as well! Thank you!

Extremely psychotic about kids water bottles. Warning! The airport TSA allows kids water bottles, Busch Gardens, the zoo, etc. There's no reason. Staff are rude as well, we are hosting a birthday party here, and staff doesn't know the schedule either. The game machines also don't work. So disappointing.

I went here along with my 6th graders field trip. We had a lot of fun, place was very clean, all games were working nicely, staff was friendly. Overall a great experience. Will be back with my family.

It's ight if you here for the games go to Dave and buster pretty small. Laser tag and nerf guns kids will love other then that its pretty mid

They have a nice large, clean entertaining facility for families of all ages. We came here yesterday for a 1st graders birthday party of 20 kids (7yr old ish). The kids had a blast playing games with their friends, eating pizza/ cake etc. The staff was excellent for party room! The only con was (no parents were allowed in) after laser tag both my munchkins were complaining that the other team was cheating, older kids pointed the lasers in their faces not following rules etc and they were very discourage

We had a great time at Laser Ops Xtreme. The kids loved the laser tag and Nerf wars with nonstop action and excitement. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly.

Birthday gift for son is this place. They had fun and had a blast! My other son requested this for his b-day next year ? They enjoyed Lazer Tag, Virtual Reality, and Arcade games. Staff were nice and friendly. Will come back again.

A lot of fun! Our group loved the Laser Tag and tried Bazooka Ball for the first time! Lots of video games, pinball, basketball and high tech virtual games. The food was very good with a variety of healthy choices.

Came here to say for a field trip 2nd year different camp MALE STAFF THATS IN CHARGE OF LASER TAG AND VR ARE VERY RUDE AND SHOULDN?T WORK THERE IF THEY DONT WANNA DEAL WITH KIDS, the attitudes are disgusting, yelling at children for no reason they don't work there so they don't know anything and as a adult they were horrible explaining anything or using their words as adults BIGGG NO need new staff immediately

Place was nice, fun game selection. Rented the red room package for my sons birthday and would say the experience was so so. The room itself was pretty stuffy with poor air circulation and the tv was broken with just a blutooth speaker for us to play our own music. Communication with our host wasn't the best either. Throughout the whole party, I felt like I was constantly searching for her. After dropping the pizzas off, she said she went to go get gloves to help me serve. She took so long I had already ser

Lazer Ops Xtreme is a really good place for kids. my kid enjoyed it a lot and had a great experience there. We went with the minimum package, and that was enough to make my kid happy. Staff is good too.

The staff was pretty nice but overall everything seemed a bit pricey. The arcade definitely seemed more expensive. They had some classic games and pinball too. I was just there for DDR but the VR archery and the laser tag seemed like they would be fun.

The laser ops is much better than others in my opinion because you have to aim at the sensor on the gun instead of a vest. It makes the game much more fun and entertaining.

Such a fun place. Love the Nerf arena. My kids and I had a great time will definitely be back and we'll tell everybody.

Manager is EXTREMELY rude and non accommodating. My son had a birthday party. I paid for extra pizza and drinks for parents. I asked for ONE more cup so my baby can drink from a straw and not water bottle and they said NO! I ended paying for a a cup!!! Then it gets better my daughter is delayed so I wanted my husband to go in the room to assist my disabled daughter and they told me i would have to.ask the manager. She told me he couldn't unless I paid for him and if there was an extra spot. Like uhhmm excus

VR games were smooth with a high refresh rate. Laser tag is always a fun time. I 100% recommend BazookaBall. It looks intimidating but is a good time. Full bar and food is good.

Kids had a blast here. The laser tag is fun and is about an hour long and worth the price. We also got an hour game card. Only thing to note is that laser tag starts at the top of the hour so you might want to plan your game time accordingly if you have a timed game card.

Such a cool add on to our trip! The kids had a blast. We did one hour of laser tag and some arcade time.. Teams are randomly picked so be prepared to battle the loved ones! Lol.

Manager Lynn very angry, bad communication with guest. She's said is the owner of this place and she can do whatever she wants ( with angry face and screaming) so bad , my boy love this place bud is not good have this woman on front of this place ??

A very fun place to enjoy with family and friends. Variety of food and drinks.

My family had a blast. We only played the 3D immersive video game and had a ton of fun. We loved the place so much we bought additional Groupons, and in addition to the 3D game, we added the 1 hour laser tag. They have other video games, a bar, and a place to get food. Can't wait to go back!

I hate when people have stupid policies. Walked in with a Sbux coffee from next door and they told me I had to stay up front. I asked if they sold coffee because I would?ve been glad to have purchased a cup from them. They don't. They sell other drinks, so it's not a no drink policy. So now I have to sit up front like an idiot or throw out my coffee. Stupid.

Brought my kids to LaserOps for my daughter's 16th birthday for some laser tag and archery. My family and I definitely had a great time and it was affordable. The food was great with great customer service ??

Lynn was great!, I had so much fun here :) I recommend

Fun For the 8-15ish Kids and they are supporting STEM education with great field trips. Today I got a tour with a group of teachers and we had fun. Looking forward to talking students!

I love the ticket less ticket system! Plus the games were fun and affordable! The kids liked the laser tag the most!!

My Grandson was visiting me from Philadelphia and 1st of all the bartender was the best experience we had there. The laser room was extremely hot as if they were more concerned about saving money on the A/C. Very ghetto including the fact that my daughter's laser weren't working & staffed refused giving her a refund so she had to sit outside the room waiting for us to finish. I'll never go back there again. Manager could care less about providing any Customer Service. I would take stars away on this review

Kid and adult friendly with amazing games at affordable prices and awesome prizes to be won! Absolutely loved the staff and my experience there!

Great place to have a night out with friends. The bazooka ball is so much fun. The laser tag was great but it's the gun that has the sensor only so you're running around trying to hit each other's gun, headshots and body shots don't really count. It's 20 minutes of shooting and a second match of 20 shortly after. Hope you're ready for cardio. Arcade games are fine too. Pizza was meh but the bar is convenient.

Patsy definitely deserves a raise, very professional, very happy to towards customer care, please consider the amount of work this lady does for you guys.

We had an unforgettable experience with the church youth group we went with. The boys talked all night about the plethora of arcade games, the exillerating laser tag and the invigorating archery tag! They were soaked in sweat!!!

Laser Ops was amazing. The laser tag setup was the bomb, but our favorite part was bazooka ball. I love being a Travel Agent! I am able to make lasting memories with my family while building a legacy.

I really enjoyed this place! VR and the laser tag were awesome! I didn't try the food but the games and everything else good no out of orders and the staff was friendly..

Clean venue and amazing staff, highly recommend. Daughter lost her cell phone at the venue during a field trip and management and staff were very helpful. They were kind enough to take our phone number and called us shortly after closing, and once all the games were turned off, to call the cell phone one last time. Thankfully, they were able to locate the phone. They could have blown us off but were extremely helpful---definitely a place I would visit again because of their great service!

The laser tag area is crazy my 15yo son, 6yo daughter and a few others had a blast. It gets real competitive! Played a few arcade games then the VR which was fun and very intense. We'll definitely go back!

Reasonably priced. My fianc? and I got 100 credits and it lasted us about 45 minutes. The air hockey table is the only thing I would not recommend.

This arcade is the best in town, staff super friendly, it's always nice and clean a good variety of games for everyone

Booked a 12th laser tag Birthday party with 10 kiddos (age 8-17). The day of the party I was sick & couldn't go, and my husband was on his own. Parker was the Party Host & he was phenomenal. The guy deserves a raise for being such a hard & good worker. Place was clean, Kids had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

My boyfriend and I went for date night and it was one of the best dates we've had. We loved all the games especially the Connect 4 hoops, Space Invaders, and the pinball machines! We also tried out the VR and fought zombies. I even flinched a few times playing. Our Bartender Martin was very friendly. After we played our games, we decided to cash out our tickets. We pulled our winnings and decided to get some original DC and Marvel comic books. One of the comics we pulled ended up being 30 bucks! All the sta

Super fun laser tag arena, arcade, and more! Went here with some other people for a staff outing and it was a blast! Some of the guns didn't work during laser tag, which was quickly fixed by the staff who brought us new ones. Looking forward to our next staff outing here!

We have a great experience. I highly recommend the laser tag.

Kids had a blast. Really clean inside with tons of space and a large assortment of arcade games, both old and new. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the pizza wasn't half bad, I would definitely go again.

We had a blast today at LaserOps. It's a good place for all ages(Our group was late 20s early 30s)..The archery, laser and paintball style game were fun.. The nachos were one of the best I've had in Tampa, and the bar had a good selection..The only advice would be to train the front desk personnel to be more friendly when customers enter

Went to go celebrate my son's bday and their internet was down so their service was affected and we couldn't buy anything not even a fry

It was a fun experience. Did not except to aim guns and not the vests in laser tag. Still it was a lot of fun :)

I would not recommend having a kids bday party here. Terrible services, they would not bring extra cups (we tried purchasing them), spoke to the owner/manager (blonde lady), And she just said oh I'm sorry. The servers took away half empty coke, spirite, and water pitchers in the middle of the kids eating. When asked where they were going they said ?oh we are refilling them up?. They never brought them back and we had kids dying of thirst. They brought the cake in late and told us we needed to be out of the

Great place to take the kids. They have things to do for everyone of all ages. However, it is alittle pricey. The games are timed way too low. The hyperdeck VR was my kids favorite, but you only get 6-7 minutes of play time. That's alittle ridiculous. Especially since that game sat unused by anyone else besides my kids for the 3 hours we were there. The laser tag was alot of fun, I would recommend updating to better equipment though.

The hyper deck was the best thing in this place ?? for us. The games were fun but for spending close to 150 I really expected more than a Lil five dollar toy as a prize. The beat saber was disappointing for my son considering it took 25 credits off card only to have the headset broken n held together by ponytail holders it looked like. But all in all we had an OK time.

Yikes! ?? Look out Busch Gardens! Tampa has another thrill spot for the ones who don't ride coasters. Laser tag like you've never played before, Archery tag(truly unique) and Bazooka ball tag. Mind blowing fun that will have you out of breath. No worries though the bar, pizza parlor and grill will replenish your energy. Or relax with tons of arcade games and even virtual reality games. Family fun you shouldn't miss.??

Nice place for family to have plenty different options to have fun for different ages and a bar for dad lol. Ticket packages pretty affordable, enough for 2 family of 5 to spend half a day there. Took off 1 star bc other than ticket package, pricing was pretty high. Shot at the bar was $12 each and drinks at counter with snacks were over $4. Good time just stay away from the refreshments lol

I appreciate that there is a laser tag for our kids. And that there is variety, pinball games, go cart, food and laser tag is a lot of fun. So they get 3 stars for that. If the quality was higher it would be an easy 4 stars. Leaving room for an incredible 5 stars which this is not there. The pluses are very evident. The laser tag is fun. The games are fun. The variety is great. So thats is there which is why we went there several times. But .... lets look at the things I didn't like. The food suck

We Bought a Groupon for play cards, vr, and laser tag and visited for father's day. Decent selection of games to play with the cards that work for non redemption games only. Racing, basketball, air hockey, old school pac man and Mario, etc. One of their vr headsets was broken so the 4 of us couldn't all play together. Laser tag is fun but it is really really hot in the laser tag area and the vest's smell reflect that. ?? snack bar is reasonable prices considering. All in all we had a fun afternoon, nice p

I would give this five stars if I had eaten the food or looked more carefully at the prize desk, but from the Arcade and Laser Tag I think I can say this is amazing. Laser tag is themed! Props, story, theming, and everything. I must say for average ticket payout to number of credits per dollar I think that 40 credits for ten dollars for an average of lower amounts of tickets is a bit overpriced, but let's be honest it's fun. I like that there's VR here because I feel like most arcades haven't implemented VR

I like this location. They have a good selection of arcade games and their laser tag set up is both fun and unique. What kept me from giving 5 stars is that some of the games need some TLC: games missing balls, games with broken equipment, etc.. If they are missing components or are damaged, turn them off or put a sign on them. Lost a few dozen credits in games that should have been out of order.

Upside? Laser tag...definitely a pretty fun 40 minutes since a portion of it was lost waiting for everyone to be in the room, the talk, explanation, set up...etc. Would be better if the explanation and all was separate to the actual play time. Downside? Alot of machines were down, and some only had some sections of it working which affected family play, despite being told that they were all working upon arrival. I even messaged Laser Ops via messenger and asked about the machines and expressed that I've rea

The place was really nice. Smaller than other establishments but clean and responsive. The staff is small, so be patient. I would recommend for a small youth birthday party(8-10). Larger groups will not have the required space. Gift shop doesn't offer much, but it caters to the kids.

Great family and adult fun. Lots of game options, a lively atmosphere, and helpful staff. Took a friend who had never been to a ace like this, and he had a wonderful time.

Had fun playing some of the old arcade games. Pinball, packman & some others. They have Space invaders & Centipede. It doesn't cost a lot, $20 for 80 credits, you get a card & all the games take credits. Swipe the card to play. Nice place with food, etc.

Went here for my sons birthday the staff was friendly but the manager/owner was very unprofessional and not hospitable at all.

The VR was amazing. The new kit, which made the platform move and gave heat and light to the game. It was so fun and we would definitely come back!

Totally Awesome Experience! And Will Definitely Be Going Back With My Family. Lol

Such a fun place!! Large enough for lots of fun but small enough to have a quaint party or hang out. The laser room is giant and so much fun!! Lots of different activities. Bazooka ball, archery, laser and arcade games. The owners are super nice too!! Great place!!!

It was a alot of fun and great for kids of varied ages. I had a 7, 10 and 3 - 13yr olds with me and they all had a blast. The guy that did the archery was great at taking his time to explain things to my 10 yr old who has special needs. The staff is very patient with all the kids. Great for parents to they sell adult beverages! Its like a chuck e cheese for older kids and adults!!!

Location was okay, however their Laser Tag markers are not super great. They are very hard to target and many times you think you should be hitting someone and you are not. Also, the playing field is very warm, and for a game such as this you really should keep it much cooler. It was overall fun, but has so much more potential.

Would give zero stars if i could.....bought a group package, staff is extremely lazy and the kid that ran the laser tag was very rude. Laser tag was a joke, a bunch of people breaking every rule there was and staff just watched. Half the arcade games didn't work with our cards(and I'm not talking just about the claw machines), when you tell the staff something isn't working they just shrug you off like your just supposed to deal with it. Even the V.R was broken.....we had a group of four and only 3 of their

It was a good experience, specially the AR was cool. Games ?? where ok. A few good one, like Halo, Air hockey. Didn't try laser tag, I will net time. Definitely gotta go check ? outthe more VR.

Laser tag is a lie.. over priced and doesn't work. Save your money unless you like wasting it!! They are rude and don't give REFUNDS!! Would give less than one star if I could!!! HORRIBLE. Save yourself!! Employee immediately tell you everything is normal but it's not!! This place should be sued!!

Do not book a party here. Staff is very rude. General Manger, Ms. Thompson does not provide costumer service and lies straight through her teeth. Do not recommend at all! Also the staff?s hygiene is not the greatest and is serving food to our children.

Horrible experience (WITH GUESTS) turned amazing - Took my children there to celebrate a birthday. The arcade was really fun, VR was amazing, Hyperdeck was insanely fun - a MUST try for anyone who has not done it, and then we get to laser tag where we had a group of grown men on the opposing team not able to have half a brain to understand they are playing against young children and completely ruined their gaming experience. The kids were walking around in the laser tag arena with their heads down saying "T

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?
