Customer Reviews

Family friendly, the kids had fun, they have a nice big arcade, and worth going back to.

Staff are great, very friendly and helpful, the AC was set too 74 so it was a bit warm but when asked they turnedvit down to 68. The place is very casual and the lanes worked great. Oil patter is a bit odd for league but workabke.

As a mom to 4 kids, Lariat Bowl & Mini Golf is always our go-to place. They've recently remodeled the whole inside. They have added to the fun with an arcade with a prize dispenser, laser tag and a bounce house. This is our new favorite family-friendly spot!

Came on valentine's night was told my 11 year old son couldn't bowl had to be a group of people the place was empty lanes open. Rude. I'm very disappointed I'm unable to bowl I'm disabled. Not kid friendly unfortunately we will never be back was gonna use the arcade and golf but wanted to bowl first you need real staff not young kids who aren't able to provide customer service. They wanted me to pay for an hour of bowling it's a 15 to 30 min thing just was an awful experience on a holiday. Who pays $20 som

Went here for a company party. They're very accommodating. Great place for family fun; there's a small arcade and even laser tag.

Kids love this place bowling games pool golf u name this place probably has it come have fun n get out of the heat

We had our company Christmas party here in December. The staff were very attentive, organized, and the place was clean and had a lot of things for all of us to do. Would definitely recommend for parties or leisure.

It looks like they are in the middle of a remodel but it looks like it's being remodeled by a robot or something because everything is just different shades of grey, where's the bowling alley carpet pizazz?! They don't even have the bowling animations when you get a strike or whatever which is like 90% of the reason I like bowling. I waited at the bar for like 10 minutes before giving up on getting a drink because nobody was around. We did mini golf too and it's a mess. The holes are all pretty much the sa

Nice establishment but the AC set to 84 when it's between 90-100 degrees is a little crazy.

They remodeled and changed to string pins, not a real bowling ally. Everything else is pretty cool. Good arcade, pool tables, and mini golf. But real shame that they got rid of real bowling experience.

There's always been no better place to come bring your family for a good family environment and smiles had by everyone. I'm 30 now and have been hanging out at lariat bowl since I came here to Red Bluff at 12 years old and its the best place in town for good clean family fun. They recently remodeled the arcade section which was badass for all to enjoy, children and adults and the best part is you purchase a game card which in turn you load with funds which were fair prices....prices ranged $20-$100 which go

The facility is under complete renovation. The last time I bowled here was in 2011. So much nicer now. Lanes still seem to be in good shape, ball returns may need a bit of work, but overall a good experience. Clean lanes, new and (comfy) seats and well-lit. Scoring computers remain the same as when I was growing up (1980/90/) but that's Ok. Would recommend to other bowlers if you are looking for some practice and are in town.

My kids, my wife and I love Lariat Bowl. Glow night bowling from 6pm till 10pm mon-thurs

Just had my daughters 14th birthday here. Got a birthday package with bowling and laser tag. What a wonderful place! It's clean, entertaining, good fun for the whole family. The staff were really friendly and the service was quick.

Love this place!!! Bowling, jump house , golf, arcade, prizes, good food , alcohol, laser tag, nice staff, clean place, and it is remodeled!! I go all the time and "Highly Recommend it" as an afternoon getaway with the kids.

My nephew had his birthday party here. It was great. A party room for cake and presents. We had pizza and drinks for the adults and then we bowled several games

It was ROCK N BOWL!! Their is Lazer tag, video games, pool. VERY kid friendly. They serve beer/wine and MIXED drinks. They were very busy and our order of pizza and drinks was fast! I was impressed

I work here and I love it. Our staff is friendly, the customers are always happy and satisfied with their time here. I don't work here anymore but the staff are very helpful. Their food is good and the atmosphere is inviting.

We went here for my nephews birthday and usually when we have gone it's been a great time, but this time the lanes kept malfunctioning and we asked for more time since we had to keep waiting for them to come and fix it. They would only give us 5 min longer so we didn't get to bowl our two last frames. They were also very short staffed. Maybe it was just a bad day..the remodel looks great though and loved laser tag.

It's way different since the new owners took over, but it was a great time. Pretty fancy with new tech

Had a BLAST!!! Birthday party was off the hook, the young lady was all over the details, making the party care free and no mistakes. Pizza was so good, better than the hut or the table. Bowling, mini golf and the bounce house all tons of fun. 10 adults and 5 kids, 300 out the door. We will be back many times I am sure.

I reserved a few tables for my daughters 4th birthday, And for me, It was perfect. All of the kids had a blast bowling and playing in the bounce house. Plenty of options for adults to entertain themselves as well. The service was great, the manager kept checking in with me to see how things were going and rescheduled our events because the kids wanted to start in the bounce house instead of bowling.

I came with my husband and adult son. It was very overcrowded. There were toddlers running free in our space. We had an issue with our ball return. It was delayed and I had to keep fetching balls from other lanes. We ordered food after waiting forever to place an order. My son's food was done 5 minutes before our play time was up. Horrible! The food wasn't great either and definitely overpriced for the quality level. There was a huge hole in the ceiling dripping into a trash can. Not impressed. We won't be

Family friendly, affordable location for all of your birthday parties or family events.

It was fun I have to admit. Pizza was also good. It's a good place for family time.

Jonny da boi #1 tender of the bar and also my heart. Best god damn Bloody Mary I ever sipped I do declare?. Bowling bawllllszzz

We ordered food and it took forever. They put food that No one claimed on the bar and it sat there for good 40 minutes. And the bar lady with super short hair and lipstick tattoo on her neck was just RUDE. If your gonna work in public BE NICE.. Also the Nachos cheese was DISGUSTING ??

Mari is awesome!!! She rocks!!!! We haven't been here for 3yrs but this girl was a breathe of fresh air. Fun atmosphere and great people

Ok so? when this place was first remodeled, it was great. Now? not at all. We lost 12 credits on our game cards on the first 3 games we tried to play. They didn't work. (2 lanes of skee ball and the ring toss) Went to the front desk to try to get my credits back. They were too busy to help or refund me. Told me to come back later? um ok.. never got a refund. Sat at the bar for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Took three orders of people that got there after me because there are so many

Such a fun place to take the kids on a rainy day, food is good also !

I've lived in Red Bluff most of my life and have been to Lariat Bowl on a number of occasions. In the past it was an ok place to go and bowl but over the years they have added a few different activities that in my opinion were well need for the town of Red Bluff considering there are few options for entertainment especially for children. My daughter recently turned 6 years old and we wanted a fun option for the celebration and being a winter birthday wanted an inside venue due to the likelihood of poor weat

Fun little laser tag. Very clean and good service... although they need to have more employees on duty during busy nights. Long waits sometimes. But overall, it was alright. Pizza was good but pricey.

This was a super fun spot. Their apocalypse 10 beer was super tasty!

There was a birthday party that my daughter was invited to. Her mom rented the room that the bounce house was in and rented the bounce house. They tried to put he in the room farthest from the room at first, but she told them them that she reserved it about a month in advance. We were able to get the room and the bounce house. She was told after she set everything up, the other party was able to use the bounce house (not sure if they paid for it), but the problem was that the other party had kids under 5 th

Had a kids birthday party here. 11 kids played 2 18 min rounds of laser tag. They loved it, we had our own birthday room easily accomodated 25 people. There is a, bowling alley, and bounce house available to rent as well all age games to play. Good food too!

So Lariat bowl has always been a summer spot with the kids until today. My 8 year old needed the bumpers as always. Well now they don't leave them up on the lane. Only put them up when the child bowls. Tuesdays are packed because it's a $2 a game each time we had to go tell them to put the bumpers up 3 x 20 minutes each. When we talked to the lady she was like deal with it was laughing and smirking. We'll we got our money back and needless to say to say our little one kept telling her he just wanted to bowl

Bowling is fun for everyone We had a great time

Will be returning for more birthday parties. Staff helped with everything, kids had a blast, and I paid less than I expected! All employees are so kind and friendly. I have been in here a few times just for random fun, and had a full reserved party and everytime I come in there's something new to do or something updated and shiny. Broken arcade game? It's fixed next time you come in. And they are always filling the prize machines! Absolutely wonderful gem of a place and I'll be back in there soon.

They close at 10pm, never stated they close the kitchen 2 hours early(8pm). I am writing this at 7:00. They refused to serve us unless it was "nachos". Nice upgrade to the atmosphere tho.

Always very fun and the staff are kind and helpful food is good a bit expensive but pretty good for the price, arcade is great, my boyfriend and I had an amazing time here.

Recently had a children's birthday party here. The staff was unbelievably helpful, planned out the whole party and kept track of timing for everything along the way. All we had to do was show up and pay, they took care of everything and we're all very nice the entire time. And they have Lazer Tag now too ??. Couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you ??.

Such a great place to come to hang out and a big thank you to Amber for providing amazing service always checking in on us making sure everything is good! Remodel looks amazing!

I had to plan an after hours even for work. Veronica was absolutely superlative in helping me figure out the best setup for our group. Everyone had a good time at the event and I am extremely grateful for the staff, they were excellent.

This place is really fun. It's great for adults. Kids too. I went here before I had my daughter with my wife and we both had a great time here. The staff were very nice. We played until they were pretty much closed and we had a couple rounds left when our time was up so the woman there turned it back on for us to finish the game.

By far one of the most surprising places I have been to in red bluff My Son had the most amazingly fun birthday here yesterday. The staff wee super awesome by hooking it up with some Lazer tag knowing that the kids were to young to bowl and to play mini golf so they let us in to play the Lazer tag. Us adults were extremely shocked by how much fun we had definitely on the list for places to return to in the future.

Amber was the most wonderful person she is best complexed person for her job she assisted us right away. Amber has always been helped when needed. I give her a 5 star good luck to your career

Changed a lot over the years I've been away. The kids absolutely loved the laser tag, and game area. I enjoyed relaxing while bowling.

The returns on the lanes scratched up both of our personal balls, and they also kept getting stuck. I don't think they have enough staff to keep up, which isn't their fault, but I am bummed about my ball though.

It's a shame to see this place fall apart. I don't think the new owner gives a hoot how it operates. Floors dirty all the time, no working fans on ball returns, cooling system not so cool, bowling balls get chunks, bathroom still has holes in ceiling and exposed filthy vent fan. But if you want a party for kids, this is the place.

If your planning on playing pool at lariat bowl bring your own pool stick. They only have short crooked ones most without tips. They are also stuck and dirty. Bowling is great.

Went there on a recommendation from a local....burgers were supposed to be good. They were good. Not huge, but prepared well...and for $5 for a bacon cheeseburger..really good .Then I find out they form their own parties...even better....and they got tots! Clean, open kitchen with friendly staff. Will go again when in town .

4.5 / 5.0 stars! Went to Lariat this Saturday (3/9/18) for my son's birthday, was helped by Susan and another young lady (sorry I forgot your name, you had long brunette ponytail) - they were very helpful and nice, even when I was scatter-brained and all over the place. The premises was very clean and in good repair. The lane equipment (scorecard computer and lane machinery) worked very well. One lane did get stuck, just once, but the staff fixed it in less than a minute. The price was great too, I got

Finally another GF option in Red Bluff! What?!?! The Cauliflower pizza crust is the best! Just the right cook, not cardboard and not rubber! ?? Door Dash delivery available, fast and the price is great! What more can you ask for?

Had a great time with my friends bowling, playing pool and arcade games. Had some technical issues with the lanes, but overall a positive experience, great place in town to have fun ??

Older alley.... needs some updates but still works. Update as 8/19/2023. New and improved updates, place is a lot cleaner and new arcade and bounce house. Still dislike paying by the hour as opposed to paying by the game. But very happy with the improvements!!!

Went and played mini golf and a game of bowling with the family. The mini golf was very reasonably priced at $27 for the 5 of us. We were the only ones on the course so we were able to take our time and goof around. Bowling was fun too although the kids started to loose interest towards the the end. Altogether a good time for a decent price.

Had a lot of fun! Haven't bowled in years but really enjoyed it! Called to reserve a lane on a Saturday night, and then had to call back to change the time and the staff was totally accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to going again!

Nice small hometown bowling alley. Nice snack bar. Nicely groomed lanes. Fairly modern equipment. Arcade area for kids. Great air conditioned building. Full 18 hole mini golf course. Nicely shaded with small trees and shrubs. Several fountains with tall sprays. Running water with waterwheel. A nice family atmosphere to entertain the whole family. Fully stocked bar.

I'd never been here before and was surprised at how nice and clean the place was. I liked the cheese pizza. The bowling area is well lit and has a ramp for special needs accessibility. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It's a great place for a group event and for families.

We had our Holiday party 2021 here! All of us had an amazing time thanks to Veronica and Susan. 100% recommend hosting events here and look forward to having more in the future!

Horrible. They've gone so down hill. Got an hour of bowling and didn't even finish one game because the lane kept breaking and would set us up. happened after each roll. $50 for an absolute waste of time, told them and they did nothing about it too. also they all have snotty attitudes.

$36 an hour up to 5 people per lane isn't that bad right now. I have gone 2 times in March and both times we fun for the family. Of course typical ball sticks and random resets of pins happen but all in all Lariat Bowl is the spot for family fun. Thank you Lariat Bowl for the fun and memorable times we have. See you soon.

Rather disappointing! Food wasn't made to order, sent it back. Round two was just as disappointing. Bowling is by the hour on Saturdays, and time cut out with two frames left in the second game with only 3 bowlers. $80+ dollars?. We won't be returning.

New owners have taken over the Lariat bowl. The food as always is good. They added an indoor bounce house. I got from a reliable source they are adding a Lazer tag room soon. Exciting times for Lariat bowl and Red Bluff.

Had lots of fun but they asked my disabled friend for his service animal's certifications and since he didn't have them on him his service animal was not allowed inside

Ordered garlic fries and a pretzel, both were tasty. The fries were crispy and had a garlic oil/chunk drizzled on then. The pretzel came with cheese and was soft inside. For a pitcher of 805 it was $14 We played pool for the night, $7 per hour. They have a small arcade in the pool room with basket ball, air hockey, skeeball, and a couple digital games and two kid ride machines. From what we saw the bowling was reasonably priced with shoe rental.

The facility was Older but did the trick, kids had a blast the food was great I highly recommend the zooks and shrooms however their customer service was awful! I ordered 6 slushies which 3 of the kids completely disliked after spending several hundred dollars at their place you'd think they'd just dump it and refill it with water or lemonade but, no--- she insisted on charging me for more beverages including water seemed silly to me and not worth upsetting the customer but we won't be going back because

Love this place! We went here for new years eve and we all had the best time! We got a whole lane to ourselves for the night it was fun. The staff were nice and they made the night pretty fun.

Nice place for adults and kids. Great family outing.

We and some friends went bowling last weekend had a great time, there was a mix up on our food order, no big deal , but the gals in the kitchen who are very friendly and really care for their customers went above and beyond to make up for it even though it was a nice jesture but no biggie. Thank you again ladies , we'll be back again soon .

Over priced food and games tast wise alright but over all 1 star

Too expensive and they used a dirty dish towel to wipe the tea I ordered off and basically put it into the cup GROSS. Not too mention how rude the mabager was. To top that off the lane kept only racking half the pins. Not going back at least not to bowl probably not for pool either at $8 a game it's not the Four Seasons people.

I think it was a little expensive for the value. I was visiting from out of town and i normally bowl is super nice alley's so maybe im a little spoiled but i just thought it should have been more affordable for the quality of the establishment. Im also not a fan if the seating that was there. Just uncomfortable table and chairs. The lady that helped us was super nice though.

My family and I had a fun time Grandchildren loved play the arcade game and the jumpy house. All the employees were so friendly and helpful..we will be back for sure

Great place to hang out and do some bowling

Ticket game didn't credit the ticket prize to card. Employee said technician would be in the following day but couldn't tell what prize was won. Wouldn't recommend playing their ticket prize games.

The arcade was stupid. They had 4 pool tables to close to everything where it made it impossible to play. You had to buy a game card that was hard for everyone to understand then they had money still on the card but not enough to play anything and no way to get it off what a waste.

Have birthday package here. They have a room to have a birthday a employee to setup clean up. Spot to have cake cold untill ready and you bowl the kids loved it and had a great time.

So today was the final straw. First time we went, we ordered a burger at the start of our two games expecting to eat while we were playing....only to have it arrive 45 minutes later towards the end of our second game. Second time we went, thought the miniature golf was going to be better.....no. The water wasn't running and there were so many places to simply lose your ball and game over. On to the game room right?....most of the arcade games are broken. If you try to play any of them, expect to ask fo

The atmosphere is great you can only purchase your food and drinks from the bar area and there's a really long line constantly on a Friday or Saturday night

Had a blast here. It was my youngest daughters first time bowling and they were more than accompanying to make sure we both had fun. I will definitely be returning.

Love this place for bday parties. Have done my daughter's parties there before and the staff is very nice and environment is great as well. Will definitely be a regular here

The greens to the miniature golf were all torn up. There was grass n sticks on them , that we had to pick up because our ball would hit and ricochet. And 1 hr (2 1/2 games) of bowling 42.00 is a little pricey. We did have fun tho.

Bowling was great, there weren't many people, but the guy who gave us our lane shoced in the far end with another family while all of the middle lanes remained empty for the duration of our stay. There's also mini golf and arcade machines which is nice.

If you like bowling this is a place to go. Sometimes the lanes are down and it's a little outdated but it has a very up-to-date arcade that seems fun for all the kids. It's a good place to go and have fun.

Nice little gem of a place. Had family in town and looking for something to do. Place was clean and service was friendly. Will definitely return in the future. Bowled horribly but that's not the lanes fault.

Went there for sons birthday. The package was expensive for what it was, but the girl that helped us with the party was amazing. She was super nice and was a hard worker.

Mari really great customer service really nice and appreciate for making me feel good

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
