The staff was very friendly. They accommodated my son and our whole party with every need. Affordable and a great place to go!! I will definitely recommend to others and return again.

I really like the gym and the layout but some of the equipment is very old and I honestly couldn't tell what some even were because they're so old and I've only ever seen ig the "updated" models, if this place had updated equipment I'd be there so often!

From Little Rock Arkansas and it was great. Will visit again. ????????????

Do not signup with this facility. They are deceptive(I made it very clear that the reason I was signing up for the membership was because of the kids room and they waited until the next day after I signed up and it was too late to back out that the kids room didn't even open until 430/5 even though I told them I would be getting to the facility around 330), dirty (trash all over the ladies locker room area), in great need of updating (cracked tiles, frayed carpet, broken glass on tanning bed, lights out in

the best place to come over with your friends for playing bowling and other indoor games

10/20/24. Edited 3 to 5 stars. If I could be said to have a regular Recteation Center, it's Landmark. The bowling alley is solid and professionally run with friendly and knowledgeable counter staff, Decent shoes. It's a large bowling alley so there is usually a lane available. Decent specials depending on the day check website, etc. Currently there is also a great arcade and bar. Very decent food and good beer specials. Solid but not overly exciting beer on tap, pitchers available. Also provides foo

Friendly & Helpful staff , clean gym & very knowledgeable trainer's ! I enjoy lifting and hearing music and , sharing stories or techniques from the guys lifting

Great fun and a reasonable price. The open bowling is loads of fun and you can customize the type of music and display for your lane. They also have a bar that serves food that is very good. They also have a cinema that is part of this complex. The movies are current but the price for concessions and the movie is a lot cheaper.

Great prices. I had a great time at this location the tickets were at a great price the concession was amazingly priced and there was plenty of seating I really enjoyed the pleasantness of the staff and the selection at the concession stand the deals were amazing where else can you go and get a small popcorn and a soda for only 2 bucks absolutely awesome and then there's a bowling alley right there as well I'm talking about a great time for all

It's not really a 4 star theater, but it's a 4 star experience. As others have noted the theaters themselves are not great. Seats are ok, but the screens are small and the sound is mediocre. The cost, especially at matinee times, cannot be beat. Movie, drink, and popcorn for less than $7! Definitely has me wondering if the better quality screens are worth it.

Very fun, fairly cheap. They have specials everyday and I really enjoyed those. Definitely worth spending time here whether bowling or sitting in the Bullpen having drinks and playing either slots or of of the few arcade games available. Just watch your surroundings and be safe.

Great prices for what you get. They have a gym, a bowling alley, off track betting, bar with yummy food, movie theater and an awesome gaming location. They girl that works the back station for the weekends is awesome! So kind and helpful! She was raised right!! Cool chic!

Sunday bowling deal is the best in town! The movie theater is decently priced, but the bowling alley is awesome! I loved to bowl here and wanted to put how awesome it was again but they are incompetent, they were rude there is one person with long hair and a beard who may be one of the rudest/lazy people I have met. If he is working this place would get negative stars, without him it is fine, but this guy ruined my weekend.

Son's wedding was amazing! Great place for venue.Great service! Thank you so much!

I went to a movie Friday night with my sister and nephew. Very clean. The seats have been updated and are very comfortable. The only issue was young, teenage kids acting like fools. Security was trying to get them to act right prior to even going into the movie. Employees tried once inside the movie. This isn't just a landmark situation, people need to wake up and teach their kids respect!

Landmark Cinemas is the best option when it comes to value. Their affordable ticket and concession prices can easily save a family hundreds of dollars over just a few visits. The Bullpen restaurant and bowling are always great too!

Great place to go catch a movie or get a few games if bowling in. The movie theaters are a little smaller than the newer ones but they have been slowly renovating them with newer seats. Pricing is a lot more affordable especially if you're taking your kids and family with.

Cheap movies but terrible food and service.was given a really hot pretzel in a thin napkin. Got burnt and when I asked for a plate or something because it was hot she said I would have to buy a nacho cheese tray in order to get a plate. Bathrooms are always nasty but workers are always playing around. Would give a zero but not an option. ??????

Sure, free popcorn on Tuesday is great, but theater 4 had a loud humming sound throughout the entire movie, and floor sweepers stood right in front of us during the credits. The staff at the front counter were very nice, but the rest of my experience was less than satisfactory.

Went there for the Mayweather vs McGregor fight. They handled a very large crowd well. Staff was friendly.

I used to go there on vacation long ago. 30 years now. When they had an OTB. Horse racing. And watched the pro bowlers there on pba tour stop. I think it was the true value open tournament. Peoria is a nice river town to visit. Gambling boat lol. Haven't been there in two decades now. Darn. Lol.

The theater is ok. It was pretty messy with popcorn on the ground. I'd give you a higher rating but every time I've come everyone just talks through movies.

Great place great prices great atmosphere. They just installed new seating that has arms that flip up. The everyday combo of pop corn and soda is ONLY $2 you can't beat that. Very professional and clean.

Went to see Hellboy 3...movie was good but.facilities at Landmark aren't being taken care.of.well enough. Asked for extra butter flavored oil and was charged .25 cents for it. Other theatre's like at Grand Prairie mall actually have station where you can add your.own extra Step up Landmark you have the history and love of Peoria...you can do better...

Some of it's decor is dingy, but the prices are great. The new gaming room, amazing! Very cool that you can go play any game on any system. Plus there's a local eSports team there. How cool!

We provided dueling piano entertainment here for a corporate event which had reserved a banquet room. From that perspective, I can say that this venue has so much to offer for both the general public and corporate events. The banquet room even had a dance floor with stage lights. The next room contained a sports bar with plenty of wide-screen TVs. And don't forget bowling. There is something for everyone!

This theatre has not been updated in years. The speakers were broken, the seats were disgusting, and the prices on Tuesday were higher than the other two local theatres. We hadn't been here in years and decided to give it a try. They clearly haven't cleaned since the last time we were there.

Not much cheaper than any other movie theater. Floors were sticky and ceiling tiles missing in theater room. Water dripping from somewhere. Screen and sound quality was decent.

Landmark Recreation is still one of the destination spots for family fun. Movie theaters, sports bar, bowling, workout facilities with racquetball courts...Landmark has something for everyone. And you can't beat the price of a movie and their $2 popcorn/drink combo. Love this place!

Easy place to find with several things to do, located around other businesses as well.

My husband and I went there to see the incredibles 2 movie. We have been going there to see movies over 10 years, because it's cheap there and we always get the couples special with a bag of candy.Which with the movie tickets it all comes to $20.00.

I joined the gym, health club. It's very clean, cheap priced. What a nice pool too

It's a very fun place, feels very nostalgic with the 70s 80s vibe.. I'm really glad that they didn't modernize anything there.. The bowling alleys were very clean and well maintained..

I have been a member of the Gym for 24 yrs. Like anything in life you get out of it what you put into it. They have plenty of equipment and trainers to show you how to correctly work out. The rest is all up to you. You also get to meet a lot of nice folks working out there that helps the workouts go faster.

Was actually at gone social. Great place great food great staff, Over all fun places to be.

Took in a movie it was nice been a while definitely will do again not a bad price great time

Went to see Avengers Endgame. I loved it. The atmosphere was great. I ordered popcorn and a drink. The service was very good. The staff was very friendly.

Good selection of equipment, friendly and helpful staff, never too busy to get a workout in. It's also nice being connected to the other parts of landmark, like the bar/grill, bowling, cinema. The facility is aging, but pretty well maintained.

Well run bowling alley. Lanes are kept slick and in good shape. Drinks are affordable and there open bowling is well priced. A fun place to bowl, the dude abides.

Great place! Lots of movie choices. Prices are best in town. What's not to love about free popcorn on Tuesdays?

We went to the BullPen Bar & Grill and had a wonderful time!!! Great Food, Great Drinks, Awesome Service!!!! TV's everywhere!!! Will definitely be back!! BTW, ask for Jimmy (bartender), he's awesome!!!

It's usually hard to find seats and when you do you can never sit with whoever you came with because the available seats are just one in the front and like one in the back and they are separated and if you don't next to a stranger they are waiting really loudly or they smell bad. Imax AMC theaters by Grand Prairie is the best you'll find around here and Willow knolls Cinema by Burlington coat factory is a hard second. Landmark cinemas is a 4th because it's far from being third

Wanna watch a movie? Hit the gym? What about bowling? Maybe arcade games? Eat some bar food? Play cornhole? Darts? Table hockey? Or maybe you wanna watch sports? Just sit at the bar and have a few drinks? Maybe you're not into any of that and you just wanna catch a movie? Boom, you came to the right place for all of the above. Check it out.

Nice theater, good popcorn. No funny smells like so many theaters. We saw the newest Tarintino movie.

I like landmark recreational facility have a gaming spot there for the kids to go in to play and compete with each other great gaming chairs. Security there is nice that oversees the place on Friday and Saturday and Sundays true police officer not one of these security guys

Best movie and concession prices in Peoria for new releases! Some of the seats need updating, but still enjoy going!

In my previous experience, a place as such: "Bowling Arena", catered to young Hispanic green party residents from L.A. To my suprise, or rather foul realization, I found my self with an option to select only a male or female gender upon selection of bowling area footwear. Again, in dispondent behavior from a particular resident catering my partner and I's weeknight out, they refused to offer service in repertoire of fitting of bowling arena garments. Impervious to common belief, under garments in the realm

Great place to go for low prices. You get more from your buck here than most theaters now-a-days.

Movie was good popcorn great. You bring your own container they will put popcorn in it free.

Awesome place to workout! Has everything you could possibly want and need. There is something for everyone, let's hope we can get back to all of that pre pandemic.

Conveniently located large selection of movies helpful employees free popcorn on Tuesdays just bring your own Bowl

A very affordable place to see a movie. Snacks are very cheap as well. The only movie theater I will consider going to see a first run movie.

The Starting Gate Banquet Room at Landmark Rec CTR is a great place to host an event. They have a large full service bar and rest rooms in the private area so guests don't have to go out and the public cannot come in.

Amazing lanes and great atmosphere. Perfect for a guys or girls night out or a birthday bash

Great friendly atmosphere to exercise in. So many classes to choose from for every age. Different price ranges for different needs. Personal trainers also at your disposal.

This place is just overall fun, great for all occasions of late night excursions and enjoy the drink Specials and fun themed nights! The Power of Bowling!

So a shame of landmark no one had masks on but me and the person I was with the staff had no mask on, no gloves on no one was washing down anything come on we have to start really listening to these scientists......... Period... # Let's Do Better.

Me and my wife was there for my company christmas party for the past 5 years the staff is always friendly. The place is always clean and seems to be a fun place to go

Love it here! They have it all! Great staff, amazing equipment and fun classes! Plus a pool, daycare and soo much more

Great work out place but small pool but they offer boxing classes and there is a bar and movie theater and hair cutting place and a bowling alley

I love Landmark. It may look like it's stuck in the 90s, but Landmark offers a ton of stuff (movies, bowling, bar, exercise gym) and remains super affordable in a relatively central location.

Affordable place to see all the latest movies can get a little chaotic sometimes but otherwise fantastic

Excellent service, best price for movie, popcorn and Drinks. HANDS DOWN THE BEST. FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT.

WAS WATCHING A MOVIE AND THESE DISRESPECTFUL KIDS KEPT RUNNING IN AND OUT OF THE MOVIE DISRUPTING IT, MADE IT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. THAN WHEN WE TRIED TO LEAVE THE HERD OF ANIMALS WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO LEAVE. THE EXIT DOORS WERE BLOCKED BY AT LEAST 30 TO 40 KIDS AND WOULDN'T LET ANYONE THROUGH. I HAD TO PUSH THEM OUT OF THE WAY TO MAKE A HOLE FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW. PLUS ABOUT 10 OTHER PEOPLE FOLLOWED THE HOLE I OPENED UP. I YELLED EXCUSE US CLEAR THE WAY, SORRY BUT I AM COMING THROUGH. WHA

Reasonable movie prices, and popcorn soda deals. Can only give it 4 stars cause I haven't been in any other areas

I love landmark it's only 4 dollars and they have 2 dollar combo small popcorn and drink before 6 after six it's 6 dollars that's cheap for the movie's!!

I'm very excited to view and try out this facility, especially with it's new underground addition. They offer so much!

My favorite place to see a film. Good prices, friendly staff, and a comfortable theater to enjoy a film.

Movies are cheap, as is the popcorn and drinks, but you get what you pay for. Some theatres are better than others.

Movie was very good and it was free popcorn day when we were there

Great place for family and friends need to honor the movie cards and coupons others offer for them

Complet disrepair. Horribly maintained. Scattered theaters. Workers were trying to get menu board working for snack bar. What a mess.

The gym was very clean and they had a person walking around wiping down the equipment when it wasn't in use. There doing a great job!!!

Great place gym with workouts lap pool saunas hot tubs racket ball. A bar with good food, bowling and a movie theatre all day getaway

Had fun but they wouldn't let my wife use one of the kiddie balls because she had her arms hurt

Prices are reasonable and the popcorn is popped fresh. Seating is comfortable

First run movies at $4.50 before 6:00 pm. Seniors $4.50 anytime but ask for senior ticket after 6:00 pm.

Family friendly, low prices, overall great place to watch movies.

Discount movies and decent snacks! Not as pretty as the "high end" places, but a great value.

This Movie Theatre is an affordable no frills venue to see blockbuster films in Central Peoria.

Nice theater. Clean. Nice staff. Good prices on snacks.

Bowling alley is decent, food is okay, staff is friendly, various computerized gaming to go with the bowling

Wonderful place to go to watch movies popcorn and soda are cheap

I go to the Werq fitness class with Matt and it is the best part of the day! Come try it 730-830pm tues & thurs!!

I love this movie theatre. Employees are very nice and restrooms are clean

Cheap prices. Not a bad place for a day time matinee if you're on a budget.

Cheap tickets and concessions. Not the nicest seats and such but for the price I think it's great

Wide selection of food and activities for the whole family. Overall a very wonderful experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
