Lakeview Lanes

Lakeview Lanes

Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews are mixed but lean positive. Many praise the friendly staff, family-friendly atmosphere, and well-maintained lanes, with some highlighting great food and service. However, several complaints mention inconsistent food quality (undercooked, burnt, or poorly prepared items) and occasional poor service or staffing issues. Negative experiences often cite overpriced or disappointing meals, weak drinks, or unprofessional attitudes. While bowling and arcade experiences are generally enjoyed, the kitchen and bar service seem to be recurring pain points for detractors. Most agree it’s a fun venue, but food and drink consistency could improve.

Great place, but so many people would love you to change the tournament times? not having open bowling Friday and Saturday nights is really hard to manage. Have been trying to schedule a party here forever but can't do it at 9/10pm and can't do it at 4pm? maybe that brings in a lot of business, I wouldn't know but it would be amazing to be able to bowl at normal times on Friday/Saturdays. Either way, awesome place, awesome renovations.

Servers on lanes can't ever get the orders or checks right....if you're actually able to order. If you get lucky enough to have someone on the lanes take your order it takes over 30 minutes to receive it. If you're lucky to receive said order it's probably wrong. Nothing has changed even know a few weeks back "change" was said to have happened. The food service manager should really reevaluate how they are leading because it isn't good and it shows in the employees service.....or lack thereof. Bar area howe

Very welcoming staff and family friendly atmosphere. It was our 5 year old granddaughter's first time bowling, and she had a blast. We followed it up with a meal in the lounge and the service and food were very good.

There's an unmistakable heaviness to the atmosphere here?and not just from the clutter. The staff (particularly one individual) exudes the kind of energy that makes you question if customer service was ever part of the job description. It's giving passive hostility with a side of unbothered mess. Trash lingers longer than the professionalism. If you enjoy feeling like an inconvenience while surrounded by disarray, this is the place for you. Personally? Zero stars. I left with the same bad vibes I walked int

Had a good time bowling with the family. Needs some cleaning, but overall not bad. They have a food area that you can order food but we did not try it so I can't speak to that.

We had my daughters 13th birthday here and it was great. The staff, the servers, they were all attentive and friendly. Thanks again!

Went to bowl at like 4:30 and was told all lanes were reversed and we would not have a spot till 9 at the soonest, so we decided to eat some wings and then went to leave because of the wait for bowling and was informed that we couldn't leave with the food we paid for and that if we wanted to it would be an additional payment.... You would think they would have a sign or something... Especially when just last week they let me leave with my left over's. Y'all definitely lost a handful of business from me an

We had our daughter's birthday there two years in a row and we enjoyed it. Love the staff and our kids love it also.

Good food and service with a smile. Nice place with a fun atmosphere. They also have multiple pool tables for billiards.

Been coming here for a few years. I don't bowl. I usually eat and drink at the bar. Typically once or twice a week. Over the last 6 months the bar service has gotten bad.. really bad. I know there's been a changeover with some random stuff that happened. But the new bar management/ staff has been poor at best. The food is pretty good. The atmosphere is great. It just keeps getting harder and harder to spend my money here when the staff is not to par. The attitude of the bartenders doesn't even come close to

From the great facilities to the amazing staff no other bowling alley around the area compares. Great for events , family fun, leagues etc. amazing food selection as well.

I order wings never once did they say before I sat down I couldn't bring my left overs home played the games I came back to the food ate was done ready to leave and they gave me the bill I asked for a container to go and they said I couldn't bring home the food I payed for I then had to pay more just to leave with my food 30 dollars more

Bar and food manager was amazing and so sweet! The bbq and mac was amazing

Seems like a bumping place. Bowling looks really fun. I played poker in a different room. That room would use some more decorations or something but the waitress was super nice and loved the crowd.

Love going here, the staff is always so kind. Even when they are super busy they don't just forget you they apologize and let you know. I do wish they had more handicapp accessible tables so when someone that cannot sit at a high table comes and other guests have taken the 2 low tables in the dining area, they don't have to wait. But they are kind about that also. All around great place great staff. Someone give them a raise they deserve it. And the best treatment. ??

Staff was friendly, place was clean and tidy, drinks were strong...what more can you ask for?? They also have good food for a bowling alley. Gaming area was great for the kids also!!!

Very good place to do something in Fulton. My only con is the wings if you are dining in

One of the few bowling centers left. It's a great place for a birthday party or just a place to have a few drinks, some pizza and watch the game. Cheapest bowling prices in the area, if you really like to bowl, they have a $30 unlimited bowling special. I bowl 5 or 6 games a few times a week. There is also a pretty neat arcade inside kind of like Dave and buster's, granted not near as many games. I highly recommend bringing the family for fun and exercise!

We do my sons birthday every year. Prices are great and my son and his friends enjoy it every time. Great for large childrens parties

They never told us we couldn't bring our wings home and the waitress we had told her manager she told us and she did not ever inform us at any point during our meal we couldn't bring them home she what was a $40 meal turned into a almost $80 meal and the employees had nasty attitude about the situation absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional will never be getting my business back and will never recommend to anyone

Great food, great drinks, great bowling, great pool. What more could you ask for?

New and clean arcade style games, along with many bowling lanes, food menu, and a bar. Outdoor area also to enjoy food and drinks, season permitting. Staff is very courteous. Any issues with ball return, lane breakdowns, and needing certain pins reset are generally fast. Plentiful parking for the facility.

Kids had a great time for my son's bowling birthday party. Staff was very good. Pizza was good.

Set up for an hour of bowling. Took 10 minutes to get 2 sodas, took 10 minutes to fix the lane when it froze and they cut the game at the 10th frame. Will never go back here

We had purchased a 6-9 package for NYE and they went above and beyond for us. My husband set this up for my birthday and they accommodated us the best they could with our larger party. We ordered tons of food and drinks and they came promptly. Everyone was amazed at how nice this alley was. This is a great business for Fulton. We come often to have a drink and get dinner. And force my husband to play arcade games with me lol love it!

Great food selection, big portions, fresh, and delicious. Awsome service. Different drinks to chose from for all. Clean.

Had a great time bowling, food"(pizza and wings" was very good. Update 2/2025 service and quality have gone way down hill! tonight we left without being acknowledged. It was busy and I'm sure they were understaffed but we waited a long while. Also did you know they no longer accept their original game cards?! They claim they posted about this for 6 months but I can't find one single post about it. My boys have been saving their points since they day they opened, we lost them all! They couldn't even check th

Great time tonight.. seen the custom Taylor band out on the back porch.. dinner was amazing.. service was out standing too..

We've ordered food from here for years with great results. The last couple of months, however, have been disappointing. Chalking it up to human error, we've ordered two more times. Chicken wings were so overdone that they were almost powdery. The next time, chicken parm sauce tasted scorched, and the club pretzel was burned on the outside where it was thinner, but the center was just dough. This time, Rocky Mountain Burger was ordered medium, but to even call it well done is generous. It was very tough and

So much to do. Delicious food. Best ice cream around by far!

Always quick and friendly and great ice cream!!

Love this place!! Good food, great company! They do need more staff to bus tables during poker and pool tournaments. They would sell a lot more food and drinks that way!

The lanes are decent, but that's about the only good thing this place has to offer. The food is fine but overpriced, especially for the poor service, it either takes too long to put in your food order or takes too long once an order has been placed, and the service from the kitchen staff/waitresses needs improvement. I ordered a cookie bowl a while ago and the cook put it under the heater so by time it came to my table the ice-cream had all melted, the waitress had it remade after she noticed I wasn't eati

Really nice bowling alley! There is a small but very nice pro shop. I have bought several new balls from this place. The guy drilling the balls is very knowledgeable. There is a nice bar and eating area. The food has always been delicious!

Had a great time bowling here with my daughter. The staff were very nice. They have good programs for children.

Went there today for the first time ever. There was a birthday party going on and they didn't have a lane open for me and my son to bowl. So we decided to get some food at the bar and play arcade games. I ordered a Stromboli and waited for over 30 mins for them to bring it out. And when they did it was absolutely nasty. Cheap sauce watering everywhere burnt and hard and couldn't even cut it with a knife. Wasn't impressed

Got the Chicken Parm and the portion was large for the price. You can see the herbs in The sauce! I would have rated 5* but the website listed Sunday night bowling from 8-10 as $10. When we showed up it was over $18 per person... I understand someone needs to update the website, BUT almost double is ridiculous.

Boozy Brunch is a great idea, but not properly staffed (1 server, 1 bar tender) and clearly unprepared. After arriving at 11 am (at opening) and being greeted we asked for a minute to look at the menu. After 25 minutes we approached the bar to ask if we should place our order there, and we're told that our server would be with us shortly. It took another 10 minutes, but we placed our order and waited an additional 25 minutes before approaching the bar again to inquire about our (at the very least) our drin

We reserved the Pizza pop and pins for a family night and son?s birthday. We had a great time!! Our server was so nice and always asking if we needed anything. The manager seemed friendly as well when we had any issues and treated his employees well. Kids had fun in their arcade as well. Fun night was had by all and kiddos can't wait to go back!

Good place great food and SUPER friendly staff also very helpful

Terrible. Called to ask if there were lanes open (which they said yes to and that they weren't busy) get there about an hour later and we are told we have to wait over an hour to get a lane. Last time I went here, family and I had a problem with the service as well. Recently it seems like this place has gone downhill.

Very nice atmosphere, they have a really great menu, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I am not a bowler so I can't comment on that part of the place. The dining room and bar area were very spacious and they had a lot of big screen TVs with multiple sports games going. Overall it was very enjoyable time I met some friends there and we had a very nice night and some great food. I will return, they have some great food items on the menu that I would like to try, the price seem very reasona

Lakeview Lanes is one of the best bowling alleys I've had the pleasure of visiting. It's freaking huge and it provides 19 lanes of bowling, a full bar with a spacious dining room, pool tables, darts, arcade games with ticket prizes, food and more! There are bathrooms and lockers to store your belongings. The owner is very hands on and is often seen helping people with any questions and even fixing the lanes if they become jammed. The cleanliness was one thing that I noticed when visiting. It always seems cl

Fun time at the lanes, great New Years family event and included 2 hours, pizza, and a pitcher of soda along with shoe rental. I may not have bowled ver well, but a a fun time was had by all.

While visiting family I suggested grab a bite to eat. Someone recommended this place and I was willing to try it. We were served quickly, food was hot, and tasty. Server was happy to take care of us, making fresh coffee etc.

The lanes here are great and the staff is super friendly.

Amazing. The owner is a genius.

fun lanes totally family friendly even on a Friday. Good waitress at the lane and fun bartender in The Yard. Be sure to say Hi to Sam when you go!

Absolutely beautiful venue! The bowling alleys are pristine, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful, the bar is just as great, they have 10 pool tables, arcade games, corn hole, and more! I highly recommend Lakeview Lanes to anyone looking for a great time out!

I didn't think I have ever had good food at a bowling alley before today. I ordered a Chicken Philly Wrap with some perfectly battered onion rings. Everything was delicious and not greasy. There are also pool tables, video games, and of course, bowling. This would be a great place to hang with family, friends, or have a date night.

Greg the manager is literally the best! He is so helpful and is always moving around the place making sure everyone is doing what needs to be done and that no one needs anything. The alcohol and food are good.

A welcome family atmosphere, on a weekend day. A nice way for a family to enjoy their time, bowling, some lunch, together. A full bar, when out with friends, a good bar menu. Also has a full service for dinner nightly and not too bad on the pocket either.

I went with my fiance, we had a blast. It began getting busier, there was a birthday party for a few young children. The attendants were very good about accommodating them with bumpers and ramps. They charge per hour vs. per game. We were able to play 5 games in the two hours that we purchased for $28, shoes included.

The kids have a great time bowling and playing in the arcade. They set me up with my first purchased bowling ball and to say it's an improvement over a random ball is an understatement. I would say its going to add 50 pins to my average at least. Great place and great job thank you

I enjoyed the staff really well. They all were super nice and our waitress was always asking if we needed anything as we were playing and having fun bowling..

Haven't bowled in a long long time. Went there after booking a lane online and it was super easy to check in, get our shoes and off to bowl we went. Nice bar area. Next time we will try to pool at one of their tables in the other section of the building.

My family ordered the rhe 18" pizza and 20 wings special. Very good. We asked for the wings to be crispy and they were. And you get 2 very good size blue cheeses. Will most definitely be ordering again, and will have to try other items on your menu.

For almost $100 we got liquid Mac and cheese, slimy see through coleslaw, mashed potatoes floating in butter, and bread that we knocked on the table and sounded like a rock. New to Fulton and will never ever order again.

Small felt outdated, balls and lanes were nice owner is a great guy, would like to see some upgrades and better food on the menu. In response, it would be nice to see new floors and or something done with the cieling, the building just feels lived in it feels disorganized. The seat I was at was not in the greatest condition, as well as some wear and tear on the tables at the lanes. I drive by this area constantly i see a lot of "new" in the area, and im aware of the alleys location my eyes rarely catch the

I didn't go here to bowl, I went for the most amazing ice cream! This location as a drive through which is nice for us lazy people! The ice is very creamy and rich. They have a variety of different flavors of hard ice cream and dip toppings. The employees are friendly and accurate with putting together your order.

I just held my husband's 60th birthday party at Lakeview Lanes and it was a wonderful experience. Greg was so helpful and took care of everything for me to ensure I could enjoy myself as well. He sat with me and helped figure out a menu and then he and his staff took care of everything from set up to clean up the night vof the party. The food was delicious, our bartender was wonderful, the kitchen staff were amazing and the price was VERY reasonable!! I highly recommend Lakeview Lanes if you need a fun, pl

Firstly. Lakeview is a sports complex ,not a dessert shop. It has bowling,a large pool room with 7 ft tables and a large arcade room with plenty, noisy machines. There is often the delightful squeal of kids playing the machines . There is also a recently built patio for several outside activities . The pool room hosts the APA pool league, and there are games Sunday thru Thursday. Alternatively, you may play for cheap on the tables ..on non-league nights ,or days before 5. Lakeview has a decent menu going wel

Went on a Tuesday for all you can eat wings and had a couple drinks with friends. We didn't bowl, there was a league going on and it was really busy in the alley area. The bar area has pool tables and TVs and we stayed in there. Our food was good and prices were great, bartender was sweet and attentive.

The food service was terrible. Took an hour to get a ten piece wings. Food is over priced as expected;food service should be better so it matches the price. The bowling experience was wonderful and the kids enjoyed it. The chairs are uncomfortable. But really the rudeness from the food server was the defining fact that my bowling experience was not the best it could have been. I may come back again, and if she (server) still has a attitude and dirty look I'm done with this place.

The current kitchen staff undercooked my pizza and wings after I explicitly stated to make sure they are fully cooked. There use to be an older lady making the food it was significantly better then! The bar tender use to make my drinks well and the last three or 4 visits in 2017 and 2018 my drinks were very weak. I then watched closely as the bar tender out 2 half shots in a double drink, really for $10 you get a watered down double. So much has changed in the last 5 years. Very very disappointed.

If they are busy they won't bring your food out forever or forget half of it. If you order an alcoholic drink it tastes different each time. So consistent is not something you will find here.

Took advantage of the No School Special today with my family.....it was a lot of fun for a great value. Everything was well organized, from the bowling, arcade, and the concessions.

Same Lakeview Lanes I remember from high school! Great family space, music and screens to keep score for you. Child friendly (we had kids age 3-16 with us). Food could be better, but that's to be expected.

I was there for lunch.. we waited almost an hour for a sandwich .... I had to I get back to work. Needs to be quicker...other than that. Food was tasty.

Pins stand up at the end of the lane. Some balls are shiny but don't dodge the pins. Pool tables are good to pocket some balls. The drinks and food are great. Ice cream is a short walk away with mini golf.

Never been there just drove by.

Awesome atmosphere very Friendly's. The food is not what you normally expect for a bowling alley they go above and beyond. Many choices. Best bowling alley around

Employees are very friendly. Very nice family time can be spent here. All the employees I had the pleasure of interacting with were very patient as I had a big group of people with me. Thank you.

Loved the staff. Great food. Great games. Fun time bowling. They have alot to offer. And great specials. Travel over an hr to go. And was way more satisfied then any of the bowling alleys in my watertown/Adams/lowville areas. Will be back for more bowling, food. Arcade games. And to check out the mini golf. It was a little warm but that's besides the point.

Went for a benefit the bartender was very nice had a good time thank you

Ordered jack and coke received a jack fire and coke then found a fly in my pitcher got alot of attitude when I asked for new, just make it right and we would of been fine.

One of the best places I've ever been too, they have the greatest staff, amazing food and I can have so much fun everytime I come between the bowling, the arcade, and the pool hall. I enjoy every visit here!

There was a deal going, I guess it's a regular thing, on Tuesday you get to bowl for two hours for only $6 a person! Great deal, had fun with the hubby and another friend ?? and after we finished bowling we went out front where the alley has an ice cream stand!! Bonus!

Their steak dinner are the best. Just ordered the cheese burger tonight for national cheeseburger day WOW Just Wow is all I can say.! Thank you Lakeview for awesome food and great staff!

Great place to go bowling with or without the family. Food was good, and prices were fair. Would have gotten five stars if the staff working had been better at their jobs, or at least acted like they cared.

I really enjoy this bowling alley, staff is always helpful and friendly. Prices are fair.

Used to really like this place but the last few months it's gone down hill were are all the old staff they treated everyone well with the same respect they received these new people just don't care about this place or the people who come here

Love this place. Staff is friendly, and their Thursday Bowling Specials are amazing, making it affordable for locals to utilize the lanes as family outdings while not breaking the bank. They also have some of the best food I have EVER had at a bowling Alley. The Only problem I have encountered is that you can no longer go to the counter to order food, and therefore must wait for a waitress, unfortunately trying to get someone's attention to place an order is a nightmare, as there isn't any sort of button/wa

Called and made a reservation for a specific pool table and they said I was all booked. When I got there and went to go to my pool table after paying and telling them I have a reservation for that table there was people there when I went back to ask them if the could do anything about it they told me ?no it's a free for all back there? what was the point of making a reservation and then telling me I was all set TWICE?

The Alley Steak salad was fantastic! You'll be more than pleasantly surprised to find such excellent food at a bowling alley!

Fun place to go. Didn't like how dirty it was. Young people at counter helpful when asked for garbage bag to remove garbage off tables when all garbage bins around us were full. They really needed more help on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Great service, good food, the lanes are well kept too.

Nice bowling alley. Clean whenever I'm there. We enjoy the leagues and regular bowling. They are big supporters of the Fulton Red Raiders bowling teams (high school), being their home venue and providing lessons and pro shop support to the teams. Lakeview has the best "real" pizza in Fulton. There is also a bar, pool tables and a few arcade games.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
