Customer Reviews

This is an awesome place for kids & adults. My granddaughter had her birthday party and they had so much fun. There are plenty of things to do here, from bowling to games and lazer tag to a play room for the younger kids. Food and drinks like pizza and beer. There were a lot of people having a great time. If you haven't been here you should take your friends or family and enjoy.

Bright and colorful and the arcade is nice. Bowling portion is very expensive and the bowling shoes are horrible. All the balls have so many dents and divots that you cant throw a strike. Ive never seen bowling pins with wires in top in order to set them back up.

Very professional establishment with friendly, accommodating and courteous staff. Overall great experience on a fun date night! The only thing that was absolutely TERRIBLE...chili cheese fries ???? and the chicken tenders weren't that great either. But because this is not a restaurant, I still give it 5 stars for a fun filled evening!

My family had a great time celebrating my son's birthday here! We had good pizza, and we enjoyed unlimited laser tag for just $13 each.

Had my kid's birthday party here this past weekend. Cost was about $200 for 10 kids in the Play Zone which is an indoor play place kinda like what you'd find at a fast food place but way bigger and a lot more fun. The price included a room with tables for 90 minutes, 10 slices of pizza, and lemonade. You can bring more kids and order more food for an additional cost and they bring anything you order to that room. You're assigned an employee to check on you and bring additional food, etc. They were very at

This is a super fun spot. I just wish it was a bit more clean. The bowling lanes are transitioned after each party with no cleaning what so ever. The tables will have stacks of plates and trash all over them and the floor when the next set of customers come. Other than that it's a fun place for the family and kids.

We always have fun here! It's affordable and there's lots to do! Staff is great! Adult beverages are available, as well as kid friendly drinks, fun snacks, and more!

We've been coming here for 5+ years and it steadily has gone downhill. I think today will be our last visit. There was an older/elderly woman working the front desk and she was rude, insulting, and clearly hated her job. We were not the only ones who noticed, multiple parents were complaining about how rude she was. She made my autistic child feel terrible and was very condescending to him and me. They also don't monitor the play room either and there were full grown adults running around the play area and

Still like going there. So far we haven't had to wait for a lane, no malfunctions either. The new screens on the lanes add an extra dimension to the atmosphere. It's reasonably priced and has other games and activities if bowling isn't you're thing. Still liking Hayden in food service!

It's just way too pricey. I get it they gotta make their money to operate but $35 for 2 bowling games is ridiculous no matter how you justify it. The arcade is okay if you have kids they'll probably love it, though it does smell really bad like broccoli or something in some parts of it. I've been to bowling/arcade places much better than this, if it's your only option I guess it would do ?????

went for a birthday party. the child was nine. the kids looked happy! happier than the parents LOL I do know that they had extra spots for the laser tag part and so they let adults willing adults play with the kids and we had a ball! I ain't kidding! (never trust the kids when they say I'm already dead....its a trap!) their pizza was horrible. but again none of the kids seemed to think it was. they were all smiling and shoveling it in. the staff was friendly. I would just recommend you know oh they

This is a cool place for kids! They have bowling, laser tag, a huge arcade, and a crawl and slide space. The bundle deals are reasonable. The arcade games are a little expensive if you don't get them in a bundle. Also, the staff isn't the friendliest...

We ordered pizza at 5:20 and it became 6:01 and a waiter hadn't even come out to talk to us. We were not informed on a delay and waited 40 minutes for our food. Everything else was awesome(ish).

This was our first time here and it did not disappoint!! We went today right after they opened. Prices for each game are very fair and so is shoe rental! Also, this place is extremely clean! Arcade side is surprisingly large for the space. We didn't check out the bounce area, but maybe next time!! Check them out!!

Absolutely an amazing time. They still have some things to fix like water fountain. Which speaking with owner and confirming it is in the cities hands now. Overall great family atmosphere

Great games, good bowling, amazing prizes to win and decent prices, but, smells like poop and also pee in most of the building. I'm told it usually smells like this so, maybe bring nose plugs? Otherwise great time! EDIT: I just saw a comment from the owner that says the sewage problem was supposed to be fixed in November, however, it's now January and still smells like raw sewage. I hope they can get it fixed!

Place is great. Has everything. Bar for adults and so much stuff for kids. It was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Big arcade, bowling and shoes were newer, bouncy and climbing area very nice. Very reasonable way to spend the day with the family.

My family has been going to this establishment for the last five years. My son enjoys the games, and many of his friends have celebrated birthdays here. Multiple times, I have gone and taken my nephew with us, and I was never told that there was a charge to go into the room that has the slides/ball pens or that it required a wristband. Today, my husband took my son and was approached in a very demeaning way by the manager. He was told that he stealing because it cost $8.00, and my son needed a wristband. We

Me and my boyfriend thought this would be a fun place to go and do something not too far away.. the bowling part was fun. There's a good amount of stuff to do, but we ordered a pizza, and pretzels and waited 45 minutes to an hour to just get our food. Waiting for the food is terrible. Don't know if we will be back. If we do, we will not get the food. The prices are not too bad? but you would think for the price of the food they would have it out decently fast.

Super fun place to bowl, play games and hang with the family! The space is huge and we always have a great time. ??

I wish I could rate this less than 1 star. Whoever the manager is should be embarrassed. Honestly it's Filthy, and smells terrible in there. The carpets are trashed and it needs to be deep cleaned and re-modelled. The Chuckie Cheese in Gastonia might not be as big, but was 1000 times cleaner.

Checked this place out before setting a date in late January for my daughter's birthday party. The facility overall appeared very clean and well cared for. I was impressed, can't wait for my daughter to enjoy all the games and activities with her friends.

Called to get some prices for a planned birthday party for the kids, the lady that answered was very rude when I asked I'm going to leave it at that. Doesn't sound like someone I'd want around my kids, I'll be looking for a different location

If I could no stars I would. Waitress at the bar was completely rude to me for no reason because the drink I ordered taste like faucet water and metal. I asked her politely if could get something different she stated it's Tito?s and cranberry very rudely and attempted to brush me off like it wasn't anything they could do. After going back and forth with her saying it's just Tito?s and cranberry like I did not know what I ordered. I asked if I could talk to someone else she pointed to the manager like s

My family and I have been coming since they opened. Hadn't been in a while. We came in today with out of town family. The customer service was terrible this time. The workers we dealt with were unfriendly and rude. The bowling was fun and they had added to the arcade, which was nice. Doesn't make up for the unwelcoming and unprofessional staff.

It was a great place for a birthday party. After bowling, there was a game room for the kids to play. I would recommend for a child's party.

Arcade and bowling were great, and the establishment was clean. Food (pizza & wings) however tasted frost bitten.

We had a blast at the Bowl N' Bounce. Great selection of arcade redemption games, super nice bowling alley, and a separate room with bounce houses. The large bounce house has very cool features, kind of like an obstacle course. My son also loved the laser tag session. I can advise you not to forget socks! I did and they were out of extra pairs, so I wasn't allowed to bowl with my family. Very nice, clean environment.

Why does the pizza taste like plastic? Every time I've ever had it, it tastes horrible. I've been here for 3 birthdays and every time it tastes like plastic.

This place is always fun for the kids. It's obvious the owners/managers take care of the place and employees are so kind. My daughter lost her purse here and we were able to get it back since they held it in lost and found.

Rolled up with my homie Marcos. With an S. Ate some pizza, thought about playing some lazer tag but didn't. Ps ABC store right next door, so win win right? Didn't go there either. Had a blast.

We had a lot of fun here. It was our first visitb and we went for my son's birthday. We took three kids 11 10 and 5. We all bowled first. They have automated bumpers. They have the thing that helps the younger kids gets the ball down the lane too.i ordered a pizza and drinks for everyone for about $20. The kids played laser tag and then went to the arcade. While they did that we bowled again. We spent over two hours and it was worth the money. We definitely plan on going back.

Awesome place for kids and grown ups. I took my 4 yr old to celebrate is his birthday and he had so much fun in all attractions. we did the play zone, video arcade, bowling and laser shooting. The staff were kind enough to join us for the cake cutting since it was just the two of us and we were the last customers in the building. It was great!!!!

Ordered food and my daughter got half way through her hot dog only to discover a massive blonde hair in her mouth. The establishment was willing to remake her food or refund the cost but offered no apology. Highly recommend not to purchase food here. They are clearly not up to code on their sanitation practices.

Great fun for the kids, and the adults. My only complaint was there needs to be supervision in the play area because not all parents watch their kids

I agree with previous posts - the smell in the inflatables area is definitely noticeable. We went for a 4 year old birthday party and it was our first trip here. My son had a blast, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and it was complete chaos in the bounce room while we were there 2:00-4:00 on a Saturday. Partly due to parents not watching their older children who were running rampant with no regard for smaller children or anyone else for that matter. My main complaint is that in an area wit

The young guy who just graduated high school had the biggest attitude during laser tag. We addressed it and he stated he was sick?not an excuse. Later on, he was delivering food to other customers in the bowling alley. This is not professional.

We have always received great service and even had our son?s birthday party here last year, which was wonderful. They have a wide selection of draft beer and food options. We have enjoyed coming here with our son for over a year now. He enjoys the play area and arcade games. However, I have noticed a sharp decline in the cleanliness of many areas, particularly the bathrooms (which need more frequent deep cleans on an ongoing basis) and the bathroom in the back has been out of order for months with a strong

Our cub scout pack had a blast playing laser tag. Staff was nice and friendly. Facilities was some what clean.

Excellent place to enjoy with the family, we spend a great time playing games and the food its delicious, i come back again

Bought the bundle of arcade and 1 attraction which was bowling. We had to wait some time for a line to be ready, but it was sufficient time to play in the arcade in the meantime. I was able to hear my number over the speaker, but everytime they said a number we had a hard time hearing due to the noise. I wish there was a way to keep teens under control, they act up and misbehave, something you don't really want in a place like this. The bowling went nice, the screen and pins worked great, we even took a pi

Most unfriendly staff I've ever encountered! You'd think a place designed for families would have a welcoming environment. They made my family feel like our presence was bothering their day. First and last time i spend my money there.

Play area unorganized at the place zone big kids running around next to the little kids I will not visit again

Great play place inside for the smaller kids to play plus they serve food while the children play.

Had my son's birthday party the other weekend. It was a last minute change because rain at the park. They took us in and accommodated us even though they didn't have the room. Bowling and laser tag was awesome. My son said it was the best birthday ever. I didn't get her name but the manager was so nice. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I wish I couldn't express how grateful we are in a review but five stars, should be ten stars!! She is a rockstar in my book.

First time here. The staff was friendly and assistanting. Didn't have any of the food there but, everything i saw looked delicious. Nice spot for the kids to play and parents sit back and watch.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. 6 EMPLOYEES PLAYING ON PHONES AND RUDE MANAGER. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN OR SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

Booked a 7yo birthday party, paid for 20 but they only provided enough place settings for 10 kids, who came with parents so probably close to 35 guests in one little room. Mgr would not let us open the doors between 2 party rooms to expand so a lot of people stood in the hallway. Ally (party helper) was great but mgmt sucked...would not recommend for birthday parties.

Shared birthday celebration. We had sooo much fun. It was packed but not crowded. Nice pleasant crowd too. Haven't been bowling for years and so glad we did this. We are definitely coming back. Pizza was delicious also

Lots of fun and the staff were very kind.

I'd say it's a solid three but could be a four. It's great for family and kids except it's not very clean. Men?s room smelled like a urinal, urinals had trash and dip bags in them. Floor doesn't look like it's been vacuumed. The staff overall is friendly with the exception of the older lady at the front desk. She could be a big rude. Can't speak completely to the food but it's normal bar food. We had the cheese pizza and tasted pretty artificial.

This is no longer ?bowl n? bounce? but more of a ?bowl n? play.? They no longer have any inflatables for the kids. It is now all indoor playground equipment, which the kids like-but we miss the inflatables they also had. I mean it's a nice place and all at least. Update 2025: Guess what, they are on their 3rd name change..what is going on with this place? How many times yall gotta change names.

Busy, great snacks, fun background to watch ....first time and have a lot of fun

What a great time with family however my score was awful as always! I loved the experience! Now, guess what is now next door! Transformation Church Lake Wylie! It's a win win!!

Always have a good time here. Open late which is great for us to find something to do when most other places are closed. Lots of lanes and also fun to play some arcade games.

Great experience for all ages. The bowling there is fun and I enjoy their big couch set ups compared to those old swiveling chairs that are at most bowling alleys. There are a ton of arcade games. I didn't try laser tag so no opinion there. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but overall very good place to go out with friends. I will definitely be returning

Fun for all ages. Yup adults can have fun too. Great value. Great place for families to have fun!

Awesome place to bring kids on a cold or rainy day. The bounce house is great and a lot of fun. They have great food too.

I got very bad customer service through phone. First call they hanged up second time I called the employee gave me a bad attitude

Had a great time bowling and playing games, but the good was absolutely horrible!! We got nachos, chili cheese fries and pizza and not one of them was even edible!! The chili and cheese was so cold and the fries are cooked in an air fryer or something. Pizza has no sauce, nothing but dough. Totally disappointed in the food. But everything else was good.

I would give this establishment zero stars if possible. The staff members were some of the most disrespectful humans I've ever met. The food was disgusting, the air conditioning halfway works, and again, the staff members were so rude.

0 Stars if I could. Employees were very rude, dismissive, and food was lousy. The employees did not want to serve me or any of my party. Very rude, would not recommend going here for any occasion.

Really good time with my children and inexpensive...we will visit again and tell others about it as well

It's okay. I go there with my four year old regularly and we had her birthday there. The reason for the lower rating is because half the arcade games are cheesy junk designed for stupid kids and/or stupid parents who want to gamble to get tickets or prizes they could more easily purchase directly. About a quarter of the games are claw games where you never get the prize and another quarter or so are basically gambling for tickets. On one you pay 1.25 to roll a dice for tickets. No skill or entertainment val

Fun environment; friendly and helpful staff

Whole place smells like dookie. I'm being serious and not trying to be funny. The restrooms are still out of order years later. The air is toxic filled with feces fumes. Most of the games don't work at all. I'm honestly disappointed in this place. They used to be a great place for families to enjoy . Honestly after years of your restroom being out of service and games being down all the time. (while still somehow operating )you guys should have been able to afford to fix both of these issues by now. I'm goi

If I could give 0 stars I would. As a parent don't have your kids party here. The manager made myself and my guests incredibly uncomfortable. certain rules only apply to certain people. Just from reading the bad reviews and the response from the establishment it seems they can't take criticism. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The ONLY good thing was the nice young girl who helped with the party who apologized to us for her managers behavior multiple times.

Great prices! I took my nephew for his Birthday and we bowled, played a game of laser tag and spent quite a bit of time in the arcade! We also got food and it was a great value with big portions, not to mention yummy! His favorite was the laser tag! Definitely coming back here.

I loved it! I hadn't bowled in over 15 years. So much fun!

This place has become our new hang out, it's fun for all ages, serving adult beverages too. The owners are local and very welcoming.

Good place for some family fun ?but customer service is no good ,we got tricked into buying 1 hour of bowling for $52 when they could?ve explained that there's a cheaper way ?they also charge you tax on the top of the price for shoes and socks. Great approach !

Love this place for a fun day with kiddos. Bowling, bounce houses, arcade and laser tag. Very reasonable prices and lots of fun for the whole family.

Lots of fun with the kids, but they have got to do something about the sewage smell coming from the bathrooms near the arcade.

This place is everything I want all the other bowling alleies and arcades around gaston county to be. It was so fun :) I laughed, I cried, I bowled and sucked at every game but it was so much fun :)

Reservations for a party of 30 people and they brought out only 1 pizza to feed everyone. Had to wait on food and after the long wait they made us leave the party tables because they couldn't extend our reservation.

Clean facilities, numerous sanitizing stations. Not a lot of people were wearing mask when we went. Overall awsome experience with laser tag, Arcade and Bowling.

I love Lake Wylie Bowl N' Bounce. The staff are so friendly. The food is delicious and well priced. The bowling balls have multiple colors and a selection of different sizes.

It's a solid place over all I'd say. The Lazer tag is a decent size and a great place to take your kids. They are constantly doing different deals. The bowling is good too but the balls are cheaper so they don't spin very well. Other than that it's a great place to go. Has a wide assortment of arcade games if that's your favorite as well.

Great facility, just extremely overcrowded. Even with a reservation, we found ourselves waiting, and the poor staff is simply overwhelmed. Food was not hot due to servers just being slow due to having so many people to cater to.

Great place to take the kids on a rainy day. There was another review I read that said the place was dirty, look Covid was rough on alot of small businesses, and it's also tough to find help especially in the service industry. Some folks need to adjust their expectations of a bowling alley... Bowl & Bounce has since improved the layout and freshened somethings up. I'm glad to have a place like this in my town for family fun.

Always a great local place to come back with family and friends. Kids have so much fun playing all the games. The prices are good, the food and drinks aren't overpriced. The stuff always helpful and nice. The only thing that I dislike about this place is that if you are coming for bowling only like adult attraction than the lines always covered with oil way more than it is must be for bowling, so if you have some professional skills to show in bowling this place isn't for you. But for kids everything is per

Overall the place is great! I would much rather go here than Dave & Busters. Food is pretty risky tho, except for the pizza and fries. Last time we went, I asked if the corn dogs had dairy in the batter and the girl behind the counter said, " If you have allergies don't eat here". That was it.... I was like ok... wow.... I let the 8 year old I brought know he can starve. Thanks. Other than that, they do a good job keeping the machines working. I've never seen one being cleaned and in a world of Covid, that

My son and I come to bowl and bounce all the time. He loves playing in their indoor playground area and I personally like the arcade. He always has a blast when we go and regularly meets new friends. If you or your kids get hungry while they play, bowl and bounce has you covered with some solid food options and good pizza to keep everyone happy while they play!

Had my kids party here today 4/2/23. Our hostess was amazing! But the front desk girls are very rude! They slung bowling shoes at my sisters. The older lady which I was informed is the head lady is very rude as well got attitude with my daughter because she needed to exchange for bigger size. Spent money for arcade and the lights will flicker in building and games shut off as if they don't have enough power to supply the games. Several parents weren't happy with the customer service from this business. We

We have a blast here! This is one of the last awesome places left for kids to go and just have fun. We will support them as long as they're open!

Great place! Took kids to do their thing for my sons birthday. They played I got served my food. This is a must visit. So many things for the kids to do here. And the staff is awesome! Amazing Hospitality and Customer Service under one roof.

Warning to parents who are looking for a party, don't have it here. Had a party today from 2 to 4. Currently walking out as they didn't fulfill their end, not serving pizza. The staff is completely rude stating we were aggressive asking for a manager. Thanks for ruining a 6 year olds party. Worst experience ever. EDITED they ended up bringing out the pizza afterwards. Turns out the person who said to leave was the bartender who stuck her hand in my face when I asked if there was a manager and just walked aw

Best place to take the kids on a rainy day. When all the outside parks are hard to enjoy in bad weather and you need to get the kids out of the house. Bring them to this place. The prices are pretty much what you pay for. The MORE fun you want, the more you pay. That simple. Several options to choose from and you can stay as long as you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
