We had a fantastic time at Lake Gaston Resort Family Fun Center! The Family Fun center has a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy including bowling, an arcade, mini golf, indoor racquet ball, and so much more! Check out their wesite for more information on the activities they offer as well as info on their local bowling leagues. Highly recommend for a fun-filled family day out!
Place has a lot of potential, you have all amenities that you would ever need for kids and adults.
I went this week to Glamour nails. I paid over $100 for a pedicure and manicure. I was shocked that Ben did not dry my nail polish dry enough on my feet. The toe nail polish was smeared on each toe. It was regular polish. But after my pedicure I had a manicure with powder. Time for my toe nails to dry. Where I come from that means you give the basic treatment like trimming the cuticle. He did no such thing. They told me it would be $8 more when I asked about it. I was very dissapointed as I have had a manic
This is a great place for all the activities! Mini golf, bowling, pizza, and more!
Played 3 games with my daughter and everything was great. No issues with the pins hanging up, or anything. The service was great. The cheeseburgers and fries were very surprising. Seems new staff since our last visit, has popped it up...
Had a great visit, thanks David!
Just walked around to check it out. Everything is indoors. Putt golf was eh. Bowling lanes were nice. 10 lanes? Plus food and booze. 11$/game. Saw a pool and racquetball court, but not sure who can use. Closed Thursdays. Other hours were odd. Bowling open only fri-sun to the public.
Went to watch my cousin bowl. The bowling alley really needs updating, balls kept getting stuck. Prices were high for bowling, food and drinks. People were very pleasant.
Took my step-daughter there
The picnic tables were all rotted out, the people in the office help was very uninformed, the bathhouse was just ok but no hot water for the showers don't know y neither did the office help
Had a reservation at 630...got initial water and drinks right away, waitress never came back. Others came in after us and got waited on before us. Huge disappointment.
This is a great little hide away. It has bowling, indoor Putt-Putt, video games, alcohol, and food. What more do you need.
We look forward to our family bowling day. Great lanes, good food and awesome employees.
Great place to go over for a good time and some bowling.
The staff personnel are the best???? Friendly, courteous, and they make sure visitors and members will want to return.????
Great place for kids and affordable. Indoor mini golf, bowling, air hockey, and arcade games.
Fun place to bowl. The lanes are fully automated and have automatic bumpers for the kids!
Good service. Nice bar tender. Reasonable price s. Steak was okay.
Staff is friendly. Food and drink were good. Will be back.
The bowling alley is perfect. Clean and good food at the snack bar.
Great Staff, and an all around great place to go. There is something for everyone.
Nice location for families and persons looking for one RV spot over time.
No air conditioning in game room and indoor pool heater hasn't worked in years
The bowling alley was nice . Fun time with the wife

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
