Lake Bowl

Reviews Summary

Overall, Lake Bowl receives mixed reviews with many praising its fun atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff, particularly for bowling and arcade activities. Positive highlights include excellent service, good food, and family-friendly entertainment. However, several complaints mention poor customer service, long wait times, rude staff, and issues with food orders. Customer Reviews

Lake Bowl is a great family environment. There are activities for kids and adults, and the entire staff is always so friendly, no matter what area you are in. My daughter and I love coming here for lunch/dinner ( I haven't tried breakfast yet), bowling, mini golf, and the arcade.

We actually played the new mini golf course and had an amazing time however I recommend bring or applying sunscreen not much shade while playing. They had FREE ice cold water

Great staff, great atmosphere, love the bar. The arcade section was dope. I'll be back if I'm ever in lake chelan again

Twice now I have driven the 45 minutes to go bowling at this establishment and ended up driving home. The website says you can call and reserve a lane to which I was told it is first come first serve, but you can be put on a waitlist. Isn't that reserving a lane?? Last trip told us 2 1/2 to 3 hour wait and that is after I had called was told an hour. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Customer service here is disappointing. The waitress here treat their friends better than the paying customers. I overheard them talking about why people don't tip. I know why they dont tip. Waitress here are not self-aware of what their doing.

Super fun place to go bowling also they have alcohol while playing and food place is connected to the building.

We took our grandkids bowling when they were in town and we all had a blast. Easy to use equipment and very nice and knowledgeable staff. The prices were good for bowling and snacks. I would highly recommend Lake Bowl.

Very friendly atmosphere. Clean shoes and area. Definitely recommend! Used the kidsbowlfree coupons and they didn't judge or act rude at all.

We had our 2025 Airshow kickoff dinner early this year to get on top of things earlier to accommodate she amazing changes to the show!! We all love TEN PIN!! Thanks for being a gracious host for our meeting!! You all Rock!!

Super helpful and kind staff. Had 0 issues even with a late night large group!

Always fun to go bowling here! Arcade is also awesome

The party area where the group tables are is located adjacent to the arcade and is extremely loud. Nearly impossible to have conversations due to extreme loudness of the arcade. Also, be aware when ordering, the person taking food order will automatically select a higher priced menu item If YOU ARE NOT EXPLICITLY SPECIFIC. IE, an order of chkn wings is $14 but there is also a $23 dollar version and that will be the item chosen without mentioning anything to the purchaser Be aware!!

Bowling alley and snack counter staff were great! Bar staff could use some customer service training! Stood there waiting for a beer and they whispered to each other, looked right at me and still didn't help me. I guess they don't need my business.

We just spent a fun little afternoon at the arcade. They must be rearranging and changing out games. Some of the games were extremely slow and others stole the money from your card. Kids still had fun. Hopefully they can get the problems worked out.

The staff are wonderful. I've been here several times and they are consistently awesome! Thank you so very much.

Food was good staff were suoer friendly the only bad thing was that while eating our dinner there was a dad antagonizing his kid into screaming for 30 min. Or dinner party all work at a daycare center and after work that was the last thing we wanted yes i know this is a family friendly place and a little bit of noise is fine but high pitched screaming for that long was just frustrating.

WOW,the manager at the arcade was very unprofessional and rude to my grandsons and myself. We walked in ,laughing, I was having a wonderful day with my 8,10 yr old grandsons, I had drove 6 hrs to visit with my family for the weekend,we were going to do the arcade again and then mini golf. I had bought my family pizza, and arcade passes the night before. The staff was wonderful. We were staying at Tenpin hotel for the weekend so we could be round all the activities. Thats a great place! And we will be back the

Entire place is good environment ?? food amazing

Been there before had fun tried to make reservations for my son's 18th birthday but wouldn't let us. Waited 45 minutes and then left because they wouldn't give us a lane even tho there were 2 open and reserved but we couldn't reserve. Must have to be tight with the owners or something.

I'm from Miami and to me, there's not much to do in Moses lake Washington, after I had dinner with my friend, we went to the lake bowl and had a good time!

We love bowling here and the food is awesome!

We've went for the past few family holidays and a few times on our own for fun. This place helped create lasting happy memories. We all had fun, enjoyed our food, and the arcade! It was a overall wonderful experience. Would recommend.

I like the arcade everyone there is polite, helpful and kind, but the bowling alley staff is rude and they older white people were racist. I saw in the comments that they've been racist before too but its unacceptable its 2024. I wouldn't recommend people of color going unless you want to be treated badly by elderly white people because your not white.

Bad service do better . Food also bad rather eat a McDouble than any hamburger served at this establishment.

The person taking the food orders was extremely rude and had an attitude horrible customer service, made out whole crew feel unwelcomed and to ask for anything more

As we begin to celebrate my son?s visiting from AZ a waitress approached our table threatening to throw us out and that there was cameras watching us and she was carful watching us and demanded to see identification of only the 2 Africa American boys sitting at the table. To give you a clear picture of the situation. They were 25 and 23. Along with 4 white caucasians, ages 12,two barley 21 ,43 and one African-American woman 40. The ones that had Alcohol were the 43,23,21 year old. Mind you we had just arr

Excellent food and service

Cool place for a family!

Great prices and staff. Family had a blast!

This is a family and kid friendly establishment. There's an arcade there for the littles. A small restaurant, bar, vending machines. If you use your debit card on the vending machines they will charge you double the price of whatever you are buying. So just use cash. They also have a small casino which I didn't go into. They have plenty of parking and ADA accessible. Very friendly establishment. There's always lots to do especially if you have littles around 2 or so.

Celebrated my nephew's 5th birthday there and it was wonderful.

Took the family for a close friend's kid's birthday and we had an awesome time. They have the updated bowling lanes with the automated bumpers for whoever needs. Food was great. Prices were great. The arcade had the perfect selection of games. The staff were all friendly and on top of things. We've been to a number of similar places and (Papa's) Lake Bowl is a top rate facility. We plan on going again.

Bowling is fun, kids love the arcade, food is good. Service in the restaurant still needs improvement though.

I have always loved LakeBowl but this past weekend was the worst experience I've ever had! My niece passed out and was unresponsive for 10 minutes. She was found to be dehydrated and due to the conditions in the arcade, I definitely think it was a contributing factor in her having have passed out! AC definitely has to be fixed with so many kids in there!

This whole place rocks! Rare to find a venue with so many entertainment options and accommodations. Very interesting menu choices all are great. 10 years I've frequented and the only issues I've seen are the unfortunate few terrible employees they suffered through. They have everything going on though. From casino table games to bowling arcades poker nights a restaurant a bar and even a hotel. Covered smoking and the best arcade!! Arcade games are ever changing and updated. Love it!! Fun for everyone lite

The food is great, especially the pizza, and the prices are very affordable. They cook to order, but the wait time is short. The employees are polite and helpful. We even love the arcade, and we're 40+ years old!

Fun place to spend an afternoon with friends or family. If you don't mind all the birthday parties that are happening right next to you. Good food and great customer service, but there were a lot of dirty/uncleared tables while I was there. Not a huge deal though. Awesome and inexpensive entertainment for a group, highly recommended.

The food was very good, kids had alot of fun with the arcade games & prize selections at the store with their winnings. The tables were nice, however the benches at the tables for the party attenders were difficult for grandparents & older people to get seated on, our bodies are not as flexible as they were when we were younger for climbing over to become seated...chairs please. The service was good especially for as busy as they were with several large parties going on at the same time.

Love coming here to hang out with friends or to have a date night with my husband! Very convenient offerings to have a bowling alley, brewery/restaurant and casino all within the same building with a hotel very close by. We will continue to come back!

Four lanes out of order so there's a huge waitlist that doesn't move. So we got our kids excited to go bowling and couldn't even bowl. To make the most of it we took them to the arcade. Which was small and expensive. When we traded in our tickets the toys selection was great EXCEPT the girl at the counter cheated each of my kids out of ten tickets because she can't add!! I was so mad. Even my first grader knew that wasn't right but we were ?all set? she said. What a HUGE disappointment all around!! I'm leav

Great looking place, great food. Went down to check on the place for a tournament, did a few games very reasonable. and big arcade room. my only downfall was the steps to the lanes with no handrails. But loved the bowling screens and looked very well kept

Lots of fun!! Family friendly and good drinks. food did take a while to come out but that was it. I definitely recommend this place!

We had a great time. Food and service were great. Server was very attentive. We sat and talked for quite a while after after our meal. Pleasant environment.

the workers there are mean to me and i dont like it

Had awesome time visiting Mosses Lake. STAFF WAS very friendly. Thank you Lake Bowl.

I had such an amazing time with my family tonight! There was a bit of a wait to play, but it didn't bother us at all, it gave us time to head over and have a drink at the bar. We played some games at the arcade before we paid to bowl, and that was fun, they have a decent amount of games to play AND a photo booth ?? my family and I bowled two games and ordered a couple pizzas...Zach was our server tonight AND WAS AWESOME, this guy knows what he's doin'! Beer, pizza, service and atmosphere were all amazing.

Affordable even for large family's. Well taken care of lanes and shoes and allows food and drink service right to your lane! The stuff is amazing and went out of thier way to make sure we left happy!

This place has angels working. At least some. My 11 years old kid had hockey tournament in Moses Lake and his team had bowling reserved for families. While playing he placed his precious T bird jacket and left forgetting it. He did not disclose it until yesterday almost month after the event. I had no hopes. To my surprise when I called them they kept it. There are angels amongst us. No doubt. I am planning to go to Moses Lake from Seattle just to play in their alley again and collect the jacket. Nice work

This is a great place to go during days off with my kids and date nights with my hubby. But get there early in order to get a lane because it fills up fast!

Great place for an Employee Party. Thank you everyone.

Love the new Mini golf course!!! Simple, yet good long 18 holes to play!!; fun and cheap!! LOVE it!

Great service and food

All the staff is fun and friendly, nice screens, good prices, especially the two-fer Tuesdays! Sometimes the music is too loud, but that's the only downside for me. Fun family establishment.

Great prices!!! Nice staff!! Had cute little ramps for little kids who can't throw the ball yet! So the whole family can get involved!! Definitely will be back!

Loads of fun if you like to bowl, also an arcade and party room for your guests. There's also a good restaurant and sports bar.

Great family fun! Bowling was alot of fun! The establishment is very clean. The beer from the Tenpin brewery was delicious! We ordered food from a very nice waitress named Jenny, which was overall pretty good. A young man brought us our 4 entrees bbringut brought us the wrong pizza and had to remake it and never did bring us the ketchup we asked for. I would have given Lake Bowl 5 stars if it wasn't for the mess up on our food and the service when the food was delivered. We will be back though :)

The manager seemed racist. Won't be back. The manager was rude, but the rest of the staff was great

It was super fun on New Years Eve :) we got drinks relatively fast, and they held a raffle, which I won a card for the arcade in. the taco bar was good and the beverages were fast, all in all a good family experience!

We are on a league here and like the atmosphere let alone Nick is a really good server and I would hire him if I owned an establishment in a heart beat and Ed is an amazing person

The games never change, but the prizes do. They have a lot of different modes on the bowling screens. The food is usually pretty good, but I had one bad experience with the food when they left the skin on my onion rings.

I have been a couple of times, but this last time was terrible. We asked the gentleman at the counter to pay for 6 team mate. A friend backed out and we asked for 5. The gentleman leaves the 6th player on the bored. We named the ?6th? player a mixed round. Half way through the second game, the gentleman stops the screen and says we need to pay for the sixth player? we had already played a round. So there we are having to pay for another player? another 8 dollars for a non player and their mistake.

Friendly service, clean lanes and seating and an always fun atmosphere. Prices are pretty reasonable and they bring out and serve food to you in the bowling area. Great place for some family fun all around.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is always hot and tastes great. And the prices are very reasonable.

I went to a Vasayo taste testing event.

Busy but food came out fast and was amazing. Best bar food ever. Our lane was glitching and they kept fixing it with out complaining (and gave us a free game). Thank you

I haven't been bowling in years! I can't believe how much fun we had. We waited all day due to a tournament, but let me tell you it was well worth it. We got a lane for the hour, along with shoe rental, nachos, drinks anddddd the absolute BEST pizza I've had since I moved here. I've always hear the vest pizza in town is at Papas, now I can tell people it's true! Service was fantastic and they were very informative on specials etc. We had such a great time. I can't wait to come back afor moonlight bowling!!!

We have fun here normally. This time we had issues with the Ball return a lot and never finished the game. They were helpful however it seemed that we were an inconvenience. They did make the issue right with coupons for free games.

My grandson and I went with youth group after church and we all had such a blast. We will get rid of the winter time blues here for sure!!

They've added a full 18 hole mini golf course just outside of the bowling alley. Tried it out already and was pleasantly surprised. Great job Lake Bowl!!!

The bowling was great, impecible service. Although, the restaurant they have inside is a joke. I waited at the bar for about 10 minutes watching two bar bunnies chit chat with another co worker... who probably should have been cleaning up the drink I had accidentally just dropped and broke. When confronting the unbelievable situation I got the most absurd response " YEAH!? It's gonna be a minute'. I'm sorry, what? The bartenders they currently have employed are completely incapable of succeeding at

Great place to meet others interested in bowling, drinks , food. Leagues bowling every night just according when you can bowl. Casino, poker room, arcs gif the kids and restaurants. Even leagues for the kids. Birthday parties. JUST A GREAT PLACE FOR CLEAN FUN FOR ENTIRE FAMILY

Awesome for arcade games and bowling of course! Nice that they bring you your food, but they are a little slow, can't imagine how hectic it would be to throw a party... give them a big head ups and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Very small and crowded bowling alley. It's strange that this whole complex (hotel, casino, brewery, restaurant) is named after the bowling theme but the tiny bowling alley is so.... meh. The minimal selection of house balls are all drilled the same making it impossible to find anything near a functional fit to bowl as a guest. This place is always absolutely packed and leagues take up most of the lanes during nearly all the business hours every week.

We visited lake bowl on 3.13.2021 and our daughter was so excited to go bowling with her family. We placed our name on the wait list at 5pm and was told we would be called around 7pm to bowl with our group of 4. We waited until 9pm and went back to our hotel with our daughter in tears because she couldn't do the one activity we came to Lake Bowl to do... which is bowl. It is now 7am on 3.14.2021 and I still haven't received a phone call. What an absolute joke.

The arcade was terrible! 5 different games that my daughter loves to play were not working at all and she was very disappointed. When I asked when they were expecting those games to be repaired an employee told me they were not aware that they were even broken and didn't even want to know which games were the 5 that were malfunctioning. That being said I won't be returning to papas arcade to spend any money at all for a longtime if ever again at all. Had the employees atleast pretended like they cared about

Employees are great. There is 1 questionable manager, however they just following the rules. Great family place really. Has a bowling alley, bar and Casino. Also the food makes me SSSSOOOO hungry

Nice outside patio for relaxing and enjoying beer from their own Ten Pin brewery. Reasonably priced restaurant with okay food. We always stop by whenever we are in the vicinity.

Our party of 20 was turned away an hour and a half before closing because the manager closed the tills because they were were slow. When I asked him if I needed to call to see if they were accepting customers before I brought them my business and he said yes. BTW we had reserved 3 lanes. We were late for the reservation but had called to inform them and they said no problem we'll see you when you get here.

The service was great but a little sloppy, the servers were of good attitude towards the customers. It was a good time with the family, even though they messed up with our party they still have us a space that was promised to us.

Great place to come with the family, or a group of friends and play a couple of games. Theres also food that you can order. You can also reserve to have a birthday party! Kids can play at the arcade, earn points and get prizes. Definitely a great time to spend here!

UFC is on here and the selection is great I had fun.

Food is great went to play games in arcade a handful of them didn't work and most where not very engaging just like a casino set up with pretty lights and noise to take money

I mean, what can I say, bowling brewery and pizza!

It suck the games toke money for card well not give card tickets emples are rude won't give back money they should go out of business.. And don't get me started with the manger who suck at that and very rude disrespectfull to kids adults and even baby's.. Just don't go they just lost 20 people from going there in under 30 mins!!! Now that's sad

Disappointing. I've gone there before for thunder alley but this time they had almost no lights on. I couldn't even see down the lane. And one of the workers there, his name was Will, had a terrible attitude and snapped at me when I didnt tell him my shoe size right away because I was talking to the other employee. Probably the second worst 70$ I've ever spent.

Food is great, friendly guest. People around was happy and enjoying them self. Happy folk of all ages.

Never stepping foot in that place again. Sat there for 1 hour and all I was offered was something to drink. I was giving a menu but waiter never came back to get my families order for food.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
