Kings Dining & Entertainment

Kings Dining & Entertainment

Reviews Summary

Kings offers a mixed experience with strong polarization in ratings. Many praise the fun atmosphere, bowling, and some excellent servers, while others highlight poor service, overpriced items, and inconsistent food quality. Positive reviews emphasize friendly staff, good drinks, and enjoyable bowling lanes, but negative feedback focuses on long wait times, incorrect orders, and billing issues. Food receives mixed reactions—some dishes like burgers and wings are hit-or-miss, while pizza is often mediocre. Service quality varies drastically, with some staff being attentive and others neglectful. Cashless payments and split-check limitations frustrate some guests. Overall, it’s a decent spot for group activities but suffers from inconsistency in execution.

This is great for fun. The food was okay. The different items were a hit, and others were a miss. The burgers, including on the kids menu was good. The Mac & Cheese on the kids' menu did not look homemade. Now, the bowling it is truly a great setup, and the price is based on the number of people bowling. My advice if they don't explain how it works. Your time starts the minute you pay, so make sure you find the bowling ball size you need first. Make sure you know the shoe size, and if you have kids, move i

I had a great experience hosting a private party for my son?s 26th birthday party. Rebbecca, the event coordinator made the planning process very easy and was very detailed. I asked for the private room for my event because our party consisted of mostly young adults with intellectual disabilities. Upon arrival, the private room wasn't available (which left me a bit frustrated) but after talking to the manager, Joe, he made the switch and made sure we were taken good care of the entire time. Our server Monse

Pizzas were ok, they ran out of fries and they were substituted with tater tots. The hot chicken was very good. The fish sandwich needs work. The waiter did not offer refills nor did he advise us that they had ran out of fries.

Pretty boiler plate so far as a sports bar goes. Only got food and drink, beer selection was good and food was decent. Took us a bit of time to get service and there was no one minding the front when we came in. Definitely better than the brew pub across the street.

My experience at this place was top tier. I dealt with CJ at the front desk. He was extremely informative and had a great attitude. Felt welcomed speaking to him. My serve was Mike and he was on his game. He was constantly checking on us and hyping us up while we were playing. And might I add, there was little to no wait time with my food and drinks for a Friday night. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend.

I was there today for a company event, the actual event was smooth. Food was good. The servers were awesome very attentive, but what disturb me is that I was standing at the front desk with a bunch of my colleagues and we witnessed their manager speak rudely to their host like we totally felt bad for her. He embarrassed her! As a man with authority at my company as well I would bring my employee to the side and speak to them in private about what it is that they're doing wrong. I wouldn't scold them in fron

We came here today, 7/23/2024, at about 4:15pm hoping to catch a Happy Hour. The place was almost empty. Immediately walking in there's the restaurant to your right and the gaming area straight ahead. We stood at the hostess stand for about a minute, but there seemed to be nobody manning it, so we just walked in. The bartender, Darien(sp.), was wiping tables and said we could sit anywhere. He appeared to be the only one handling patrons. There was no Happy Hour menu ????. We ordered drinks and I was initia

Very nice location. This was my first time there. They have a sports bar atmosphere on one side and bowling with arcade games on the other. I believe they had a private bowling room in the rear for parties or celebrities. I didn't eat, but my friends enjoyed the cheese burgers so much that they had seconds. Overall, this was an extremely pleasant exp. Staff were friendly and very attentive to the guest. It was a mix of families with young kids and adults just enjoying themselves. If you are in downtown Chi

This place has great food! The seats are a bit too high off the ground, so it might be difficult to seat children or people with mobility issues. Otherwise, the vibe is inviting, and the drinks are delicious. We ordered the pepperoni pizza which was terrific. They do not accept cash.

Wow! What a joke this was. To start off, it was my sisters birthday. My boyfriend and I originally asked for our own checks and we're originally told by our server she would do it at the end cause it was easier and made more sense. Well, we begin our bowling, more people came, we tried to get drinks from her and that was a lost cause so we had to go to the bar and get our own drinks. It was only when I made eye contact with her she actually got us our drinks. The bill comes and she tells us she can't split

Kings Dining is the place to go for late-night dessert and cold drinks. We went there after the Boy Band Night concert at Parkway Bank and enjoyed lemonade, iced tea, and a mocktail with key lime pie. The crust of the key lime pie was a bit hard and difficult to slice, but the flavor improved. It was very sweet! Overall, it's a great place for dessert and drinks after the concert. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a nice spot to unwind with friends.

Had great fun with a group of folks? food was good, great service. Bowling was great!

Easiest $100 tip for a poor service. I got a party package for 9 people 2 lanes. Server was not aware of party package to start with. . She brought the food and soda, took first order of drinks and come back for final bill. We had to get drinks from bar because she didn't show up to check on table. Might as well wait for Lane available with such a poor service. Not booking a party again this way. Food is good, great time with friends but your money is worth a good service.

I wish i could give zeros stars. I came in on Saturday May 17th with my boyfriend and we were immediately seated. We order both an appetizer and entree and did not receive neither after sitting for over 30 minutes. We noticed that there were people who were getting seated and served after us however. I don't think that it was a coincidence that my boyfriend and I were the only black people in the restaurant. I never experienced this at the downtown location however.

We were going to an event a few doors down but wanted a drink or two beforehand. Every other spot was PACKED and there was a wait time or no spots at the bar open. We stopped in King's and saw it wasn't full and the bar was completely free. I have to say this is the first time l've ever had my bad searched for a restaurant/bar lol But security was super nice! Ended up getting a few drinks and they were delicious! We came back after the event and honestly I have no idea why this place wasn't busier. The vi

Had a great time. We chose the VIP lanes for bowling ??. Our Host "Dejean" was really helpful and down to earth. I will definitely be back when in CHICAGO. ??Wings were torch ??

Top notch service and the food was amazing!! We happened to be there during Happy Hour so all our food was half off. Definitely will be going back and on top of that they brought me a cupcake for my Birthday which is made in house!!!

My company worked with Rebbecca Park on an event which took place last night. We received nothing but great feedback from our attendees. The food was great, everyone enjoyed bowling/the arcade room, and the staff was super helpful and was very on top of food replenishment. All around a great experience and would recommend for group events!

The Black and Blue burger was just ok. I did not taste the cajun season on the burger. It tasted like a regular burger that was a little too much char. The waffle fries were excellent. The egg rolls were a bit bland. The guacamole was decent.

The food was great! Our server, Tamara, was super nice, helpful, and amazingly attentive to the needs of our special needs daughter. We will definitely be back!

Had a good time and our server was very attentive. Not sure her name, she didnt say but was good at her job. Food was pricey, barely any cheese or meat on the fries but was definitely delicious in taste just couldve been more. Wings were very fatty and soft wish they were crispy but they were also good nonetheless. Everything I ordered was seasoned and the drinks were all just as strong as they should be for the prices!

Very nice environment. A bit like a High-end sports bar yet family-friendly dinning. The food is very very good, I was pleasantly surprised. Their Nachos were amazing, yet everything was delicious!!

We had a fantastic afternoon at King?s when our flight out of ORD was canceled. The location was convenient, prices and discounts were good, but most importantly, the staff was amazing. Sincere appreciation for the young lady who served us pizza and helped us find the best place to wait for an Uber and the young man who got us set up with bowling. Pizza was average; bowling was fun. Really great option close to the airport.

I came to Kings Bowling for a birthday celebration & might I say, it was a complete MESS. Let's start off that our fairly large group had just one server who moved very slowly and looked confused & overwhelmed most of the time. Many guests including myself paid for unlimited drinks for a certain amount of time. I had 2 drinks during my unlimited package because of the very slow moving service & then I was notified that we could no longer order alcohol with no explanation as to why. The manager , the waiter

Won't get a bang for your buck here. Overpriced even for a simple beer. The vibe is not for anyone born after the year 1990. Cocktails might as well be soft drink.

Our server added his own tip onto our checks which we were charged for (party of 3, 3 separate checks). EXTREMELY unprofessional. I've come here for years with no problems.

I went to Kings in Rosemont for the first time for my very good friends birthday. She had purchased a party package that included bowling, food, and open bar for 2 hours. I was extremely excited to check this place out but unfortunately was disappointed with the outcome. Although I know we had a pretty large party over 30+ people; you would think that since this was an event that was pre-scheduled that the establishment had enough notice to be able to accommodate us with what could have been a very smooth e

I strongly recommend Kings for family bowling. They had great service, all employees were extremely helpful, patient, and kind. We ordered some drinks and appetizers and they were delicious. They gave us waters for the group, checked in on us, and the entire vibe was perfect.

I attended the kids noon years eve event. My toddler loved it and that's why I scored it so high. The service was great. The buffet was basic but nice. The sliders should've been kept in a warmer and maybe cookies for dessert instead of the weird chocolate things. The logistics of the event should've been thought out better. I wasted my money on the bowling which was expensive because it was on the other side away from the event. My kid kept running back and forward because he was waiting for his spot to g

Fun atmosphere! My boyfriend and I came here to bowl and had a great time. Nice high tech lanes. Our server Anthony provided excellent service. Defiantly will be back!

This place was Great for a date night with my husband! We ate at their restaurant as we waited for a lane. Our wait was about an hr or hr an half BUT it WAS a Saturday night so it's to be expected. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. We ended up with a lane in the back room which we loved because the main part was really crowded. There were small parties in that bowling room as well but still had alot of room, we weren't crowded like we assumed we would have been on the othe

I was there Sunday evening and there was only one server, felt so bad for her she looked so overwhelmed! Got the unlimited drinks but only got 2 drinks in 2 hours due to the short staff! SMH! Not even worth getting the unlimited. I wouldn't recommend on a busy day.

I was at Kings Bowling in Rosemont this past Sunday for a birthday party, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Our reservation was supposed to start at 4:30, but they told us our time had already started?even though they didn't give us our lane until 5:00. We only had the lanes until 6:30. We paid for an open bar package, but with only one waitress, the wait time for drinks was way too long?I only received one drink the entire time. The next round of pizzas didn't arrive until our two-hour w

Where do I start. We went today on March 30th to go bowling it was 8 of us and we had the most horrible experience! FIRST ISSUE: EVERYONE PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!! No server was coming to our booth, so we went up to the bar ( bad idea) the guy who was working there was absolutely horrible. He had an attitude from the beginning of the conversation. We usually keep the tab open, but closed it out right away. When we checked the receipt he added himself a 20% tip without our consent!!! We asked him why h

This place is deceiving. I order boom boom shrimp and they gave me popcorn shrimp. anywhere else that has boom boom shrimp, gives you regular size shrimp and not popcorn shrimp. If it said popcorn shrimp I would not of ordered it. This ruined my whole meal. Corporate food starts with the eyes first then the tast buds, this was not eye appealing. Please do better.

My wife, myself and some friends went there to play pool, as well as bowl. The manager stopped by, very nice and welcoming. We got there early so we were able to play pool. We had some food and some beverages, and enjoyed the music throughout the night. People started to fill the place up starting around 9:00 p.m. Had a very nice time.

I booked a birthday party and everything went really well. I had the pleasure of communicating with Rebecca and she answered every question I had. Everything she said translated exactly as she said it would. The food was good and even though we didn't have a private room it was really nice to have our two lanes closed off with the red curtains it made it feel private. Our server Monse was really great and very sweet! She also helped with getting birthday candles for the cake. I would recommend this place fo

really wanted to like this place, great location and screens but the wait staff is unattentive and needs improvement. it's a bowling alley with a large bar and beer selection. hate having to wave down servers when at the bar. nevertheless beers are cold but food overpriced. 10 wings @ $16. portions are small compared to comparable restaurants in the area.

The atmosphere of the place is definitely what attracts people. From looking around, there was bowling and a little retro arcade. For food we got a few items. The shrimp and brussel sprouts were great! The wings were just fine - they were a little dry. The drinks were pretty good, but pricey. I got the coco mojito, and I heavily recommend this. It was delicious! We also had the Pirate (?) Cocktail, but agreed that the coco mojito was better.

This is a pretty fun place! Staff is really kind and welcoming! Food is great! The kids loved the arcade games. Overall we had an awesome time and will be back!

We Missed our Flight and we went to The Kings Dinning and made Lemonade out of the Lemons! Staff was Accomendating even let us put our bags in the coat room! We had drinks and played games while my name was on the waiting list for Bowling! We stayed their and Bowled to the closed! Great staff and we had a great time..

Very family friendly. We took our son for his birthday when we walked in and checked in all of our names we had asked them if they accommodated anything for celebrating a birthday they said no. But then our wonderful waitress Liza made my sons birthday special we had told her we wanted a dessert to celebrate a birthday she had put a candle for us and sang happy birthday she had also gave my son a complimentary birthday cup and arcade cards. We really appreciate her service she really made my sons birthday

We ate. Burger was great but it's very loud

Great food ,wonderful entertainment for everyone bowling, arcade. Makes you feel like a King or Queen my nephew and niece enjoyed their school winter break .

Call and make sure they're open. Hours on Google maps are incorrect, but still verified by them. Wasted the drive, and the $15 for parking I couldn't get validated, for the bowling I couldn't play, because they were closed during posted hours.

Company Holiday Party was lit- Good time. Might do it again for 2025

Great food! Waitress was very nice and took care of our every need. Tacos were absolutely delicious and were filled with shrimp. Awesome food and a great place to dine.

The food and the atmosphere was perfect. Mike was our sever and he was excellent as well. He made the whole experience worth it. My food was good, although, I asked for a well done burger and it came out a little under well...it was still good. The drinks was excellent as well, whoever the bartender is, does an awesome job. I did not like that I got 5 wings for $13 but they are good as well. Will definitely visit again!

Rosemont IL is a great location. Clean and staff are friendly. Anthony was very accommodating and reliable. The whole family had fun celebrating 2 birthdays here. Would recommend it.

Food was good, service was extra slow, i ask do you guys have a tea - she brings me tea without asking... oh Yesss I forgot guy on entrance was looking my outfit and i he is like we don't have tables available and i saw that there is half empty, and i said check and i see one table empty places and tables without reservation and he tried to put me on bar , but i said no, then he tried to out 3 of us on some small tables and i said that is not okey and finally he just pointed with hand this table and left, t

Very cool atmosphere. Large screen tvs in the main room with a sports bar vibe. The bowling area is very neat.

My first time visiting Kings Bowling in Rosemont and we had a fantastic time. We had a dinner reservation and our waiter Justin was AWESOME! We went on a Monday which was my birthday. Justin found out it was my special day and went above and beyond. The food came out quick and it was delicious. He even gifted me with desert. If I had to rate my overall experience it would be a ten. My family and I have no complaints. We will definitely be returning. If you dine in, ask for Justin you will not be disappointe

Attended a private party there. Bowling fun. Food was good except for the chicken on the screws was cold like they just came out of refrigerator.

Great food ! We had a nice time although I think they should be particular when seating people because it's very close. We were clearly heading to the club afterwards and we awkwardly got sat next to a family with a bunch of kids. Which made us keep our coats on until they left.

The ?chicken wings? were the same size as my thumbs!! Never saw em that small before! Had to check to see if it was ?baby chick wings?.. insane.. The ?macaroni? is Kraft? no leg room at the table tops, kept kicking each other all evening?

Excellent for a small group event. Food is good. Good time bowling with friends. Lots of fun. Different options for games

The wife and I decided on King's after going door to door reading menus trying to figure out our eating situation. It turned out to be a decision we wouldn't regret. Tina was our waitress and right out the gate she was pleasant, conversational and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and things to do. Our experience was so epic! My wife mentioned to Tina that we were doing a sta-cation for our 7th wedding anniversary. Little did we know that Tina was next-level when it came down to waitressin

Awesome place to hang out and even any type of celebration. I had my birthday there, turned out great. The staff is always on top of things and will work with any of your request. ??. We got way more than expected. Everyone left satisfied. The food is also great. The waiting list moves fast.

Great food, the servers are great..! Restaurant it's very clean Fair prices Fast services Love the outside dining

Me and my friends had a great time bowling!! The food was fabulous!! I definitely will be going back!!

Chasity the bar tender at the draft room = phemoninal. I was in a bad mood when I arrived, Chasity turned that around. She offered up samples of a few beers then recommended just the right one. Then we tried a most delightful Old Fashioned. The Endeme was to die for. Spring rolls were very good. We will be back.

Not only do they make you give them a credit card when you order dinner they also charge your card without asking you and before you see the final bill. they also add tip in for a table of 4 with no upfront notice. we asked for an manager but one never came. last time I go here.

John was a great bartender! I loved how he took care of me and my friend , seeing how it was our first time at this location;I was so happy with the patience and the customer service.. 10/10 would recommend! Great location also; so many great things to do !

How they have fallen, i walk in there with a few friends they seat us and we wait there for about 15 minutes before our waitress shows up. and she only showed up because i complained after i saw a party recently seated get a waitress instantly. . That was only the start of this horrible experience, not only are the prices jacked up compared to the last time i was there which was last summer. Maybe its to pay their new remodeled area with 3 giant screens. Anyway when they brought me my pizza it was not e

On a slow (weather-impacted) evening, we had to work to get the attention of the staff, and once that connection had been made, every interaction...I MEAN every ONE that we had until leaving left the sense that we were a bother...inconvenience. Really offputting and just crap especially after a near $200 bill for 2 people! Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Pretty standard entertainment mix, including bowling. But 5 stars for the well-crafted local beer list on tap, including Revolution, Maplewood, and 3 Floyds.

The server and atmosphere was extremely welcoming and awesome. We didn't particularly care for the food. Mediocre at best. I've had bar food at lower quality places that were far better than there selection and taste. I would definitely visit again though I most certainly would eat elsewhere first or after your bowl.

Food was delicious! They had vegan friendly options! Freshly made to order and service was excellent.

If you are a serious bowler...this is not the place for you. It was very humid in the building and you could not slide when bowling. In addition, it was very dark on the bowling lanes which made it hard to see farther down the lanes. If you are coming here to drink and just have fun with bowling this is your place.

Took the kids here for a night of bowling. Atmosphere was good, food was meh. I got chicken wings and they were not good too dry/overcooked. My son had a burger I tried it but it was too dry too. My wife had some vegge wrap and she said it tasted great. I did not try the pizza but you usually can't go wrong with pizza.

Increadibly overpriced sodas. 4.50 for a small glass of coke, but other than that... the food was good and the service was nice! However, be warned they don't take cash.. which is crazy.. and you are forced to only have 2 splits in a check. All in all, things were good

We had such a great time at the 2024 Noon Years Eve party! The food was great, so much for the kids to do and service was amazing. Definitely will be returning!

First time here at this place my friend Recommended. We seat at the bar ?Charley? was very professional/ Friendly. Food was very wood. Great place bowling and dinner ?

The service was great. The food is typical bar food. The drinks were strong and priced well. Huge TV's to watch the games, which was a positive. The food was mediocre at best. I got the hot Nashville spicy chicken sandwich and it was way too oily. The Moscow mule pitcher was great. I probably wouldn't eat here again, but would come back for drinks and entertainment.

Coworker and I had fun times here! Enjoyed the bowling and food and drinks, staff were polite and helpful! The large TVs were great! We would come back again for this!

We held a corporate event at Kings and everyone had a wonderful time! The food was absolutely delicious - Kings was even able to accomodate gluten free and vegan options, which were equally excellent! We loved the private space and lanes, it really allowed for us to relax and have fun. From start to finish, beginning with the planning of the event, the service at Kings was fantastic. My questions were always answered quickly and in detail, which gave me peace of mind as planning these types of events can be

The place had great recommendations, unfortunately, we got there and the service was unsatisfactory and unpleasant. The food might be good is you have the opportunity of getting it warm, my pepperoni pizza was greasy. I'll hesitate to come back!

Stopped in for an app and dinner while the wife was working near by. The bartender was friendly and attentive. She was alone and servicing a party on another room so it took quite a while for service (I was the only person in the bar area). I ordered wings and high is frustrating because they sell them large and small with no indication of weight or count. The wings were only slightly better than frozen air fryer wings. Very disappointed with the over priced generic wings. Clearly helping cover their massiv

Fun place. Son loves the pool table. You can reserve it as long as you want for $20, or get it as someone else leaves. Air hockey table was down, though always fun as well. Food and drink expensive, though for $65 the sangria pitcher is a deal if you have a group. Food was OK, not lt great. Good service. Validate parking on the way out. No kids admitted after 9.

I've been here several times, it's open late and serves good pub food, we often go here after movies. Our waitress was super nice to us, even if they were a bit busy. However please be aware that they fry fish and chicken in the same oil, so your food will taste like fish. My chicken sandwich tasted like a fish sandwich, which is disappointing.

King?s validates your parking, which is a great! Problem is, their validation machine wasn't working properly. The girl at the front desk gave me a replacement parking pass. Very nice! Problem is, the parking garage charged my credit card $273.00 to park for 2.5 hours. I called King?s right away and they were very dismissive and told me I had to take it up with the Village of Rosemont. I will NEVER go back to this place, the manager was no help what so ever.

Everything was great. Service could've been a little better. Took a while to get our drinks, then took even longer to close our tab. But overall, we had a good time.

Everything?s was amazing! The staff was so friendly and did everything I asked for! Will be back!

Went bowling here during the day with a friend before they flew out. Atmosphere was what you would expect, but we had to track down a server to get drinks/order food. Drinks came out fast, but the food never came. Staff was apologetic and offered us free beers to make up for it, but we had to get going so he could catch his flight.

The location and set up is impressive, it was a nice spot to hang out before the concert we were in town for. Our group did bowling and pool. I loved the open air dining and effort put into making it a nice space. Unfortunately the people working there at noon on a Friday all seemed miserable and "checked out." When we entered, no one greeted us, or explained the layout, or offered menus etc. We wandered. We asked people for help and got bits of information. When we moved to the dining/bar area to get

I used to watch Ramsey's shows all the time and I was always interested in giving it a try. I was beyond impressed with everything. Atmosphere, the rest room -nine. But the food? Definitely out of the box ??. I really recommend it and I'll be back soon to try other options.

Holy smokes this place is GOOOOOOD! I never order burgers but the Sunny was calling my name. It was perfection. Our waitress (Liza??) is the best. I want to be her friend. Lol! Also, the Strike fries are a must have.

The atmosphere food and Ambience is great and then there's the bowling :) Servers were amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
