I didn't play anything, but I watched other people play. I did see some people were able to win small prizes. So many of the machines had super cute little prizes. The smaller ones were easier to win than the larger ones. It does take some skills/luck. I wasn't down for the gamble, but i was tempted on the little tempura shrimp keychain. I think i saw it was $1 for a token and it starts at 2 token for one try for the small ones.
This place has so many cute plushies!! But it wasn't easy to win. We spent $40 and got nothing. We did see people win though. The trade up prices look ridiculous though. Fun but a bit overpriced compared to other places.
Took my little sister here and she had a blast playing the crane games! They have great prizes, the best part is they have Pok?mon! Highly recommend for your family while you're visiting Japantown!
You can spend money here and not gain anything. It is almost all claw machines, so it's basically gambling. It could be rigged, too. I don't have kids, but I wouldn't take them here because I wouldn't want to disappoint them if we managed to leave with nothing. Even Gashapon, a similar shop downstairs that offers prizes from machines, is better. The prizes are randomized and the pricing scheme is bad, but at least you are GUARANTEED to get something for your money. You are not guaranteed anything at Kiddlet

Cute Japanese style crane arcade. The cost is about $2-4/try. Good selection of prizes. There is a second location that just opened in the Japan Town Mall.

The machines are set extremely difficult to win from. I spent $15 and only managed to grab two small items worth $1-2 each. The store is fairly clean, and the lighting is very attractive. Overall, it's disappointing given the difficulty and value.

Kiddleton is a great place to bring your loved ones! Lots of crane games with different characters to choose from. My favorite is the Pok?mon and mario characters! Highly recommend!

99% of the claw machines are rigged, two weak to grab anything. I visited the place multiple times and it's very sad seeing kids leaving empty handed, my kids always get frustrated

Do not play here. Out of 10 tokens the game ate 6 and didn't allow play. There is no one around for help, you have to fill out an online form for help and they require video evidence before they'll consider it. Scam.

TLDR: like all the other 1 star reviews, rigged The claw machines have tiny toys that probably aren't even worth $1 but on top of that, they rig the machines to have little to no strength. Some of the claws don't even close around the toy. I spent $10 and wasn't even close once, some of the claws are too small for the big toys as well

Don't spend money here. On June 1st I bought 20 tokens and was charged $5. There was no staff at the time, so I thought it was only $5, then I bought 60 tokens and was charged $15 that day. Today I checked my spending record and found that another $60 was charged back yesterday.
