This is an amazing store and owner. I live across the country and placed a preorder for the Final Fantasy Magic the Gathering Collector Booster Box months ahead of time. By the time the set was release, the msrp of the item had nearly doubled, and Kens Comic honored the original sale, did not cancel, and got the order shipped quickly and safely, while many people across the country had their orders refunded by stores to reflect the higher sale price. Kens Comic Man took care of their customers and honored
They have custom graphics for tees and hoodies. There is plenty of gaming space. Staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended, NERD or not!
Ken's Comic Man is an amazing place. They have games, and comics for every age and genre. They provide an inviting gaming atmosphere when hosting their events and tournaments. This is a very family friendly environment.
Shopkeeper not only values and takes care of his customers, but also does his best to keep them informed without high pressure sales. Very much recommended for any gamer to visit, and check out! Great environment and extremely knowledgeable!
Customer service and knowledge was awesome. He is honest and extremely friendly. I took my family there during our vacation visiting family. I will now be visiting ever time we come to the area!
This place is freakin' AWESOME! Thank Googs there's a place where Planeswalkers can gather in Poplar Bluff!
I am a fan of yugioh son will go there when ever I need a card and they have lots of cards and cheap prices and these are just two of the cards I have bought from there
I just moved to town and got to check the store out. Awesome guy running this place. I haven't gotten to play MTG here yet and meet all the locals but I'm excited to do so once I can. Tons of stuff here. Absolute nerd and hobby collector Heaven.
Not much of a comic fanfic but the guys were REALLY COOL and conversed with me pretty much like as if I was a regular customer very much appreciated the two of you
Great community. I have played both the main games at the shop and both sides are friendly. Staff is amazing and willing to help always. Would advise bringing cash if you make less than 5$ purchase, but the ONLY issue being that, can't get really better
Always greets me when I come in. Very open and friendly place. Prices are always fair due to the use of TCG player for most up-to-date pricing. Good selection and is willing to order what you need. Overall really great shopping experience every time. Only place in town that gets my business.
A finally staff and a great selection. The owner took the time to get to know my taste. He's even set aside books he knew I would want for my collection. Prices are good too.
Awesome place to throw card board and hang with your friends. If you don't have any friends you can makes some there.
Good dude, good prices on Magic the Gathering products. Don't know about the comics because I don't want to pick that hobby up again. (Though every time I go in I want to look through the collection). Everybody seems to enjoy the in person events, wish I had more time to go. Highly recommend.
They didn't have any top loaders. But the employee was friendly and knowledgeable. And it's a very well maintained. The assortment of inventory was impressive.
Great place to hangout. NOT COMPLICATED AT ALL!!! And the ginger guy is super helpful and SEXY AS HELL!!!.... Never actually been here..... But a lot of nerdy hoarders. Seriously we welcome everyone to come and play, all we ask is for you to respect your fellow nerd and most importantly HAVE FUN. Please come and judge for yourself.
The shop is huge ! It has more than just comic books . Two separate areas for playing games . Snack & soda bar . All kinds of collectibles, trading cards , figurines , games , etc . Check it out !
They have a wide variety of hobby equipment and different types of games. The comicbook selection is a good variety of titles and brands. The staff are very helpful and polite, I've been going here for the 4 years and never been disappointed.
This is a fun place to go and play card games and tabletop games. They are friendly and fun. The have comics and shirts and dice and just a bunch of nerdy stuff. So if you want to feed your inner or putter nerd stop by and roll some dice and turn some cardboard with us!
Love this place. Kind of like a time machine. Takes me back to when I was 10 years old. Reintroduced me to a bunch of hobbies I wish I wouldn't have forgotten about. But now I have a chance to share with my boys. Good family fun.
Kinda Pricey!! Horrible Welcoming Manners.. Honestly I seen a few decent things but like I said price was to much, Look up on item that was price $50 and literally ordered while we in store ?? for 30 online!!
I was very impressed with the selection, and more so the thought the owner has put in his products and services. Impressively friendly like most local gaming stores.
Great place for yugioh dragonball super and magic tournaments. Great community of all games. Come join the fun. If your intrested in any of these games we have players from beginners to advanced that will help you learn these games.
As always, the experience I had today was awesome. Being a very indecisive person, it is refreshing for any retail store to allow me to browse for as long as I would like without being pressured to buy something, but also know (and use extensively) the fact that I can get their expert knowledge and opinion on not just items in their store, but on anything in the wide world of nerddom in general. I would recommend that everybody from someone who just has a new spark of interest in comics or gaming and is loo
The best place in the area to go for good variety and good service. Fair prices for buying and selling.
Great little comic store. Loved the way they treated my son as he was the reason we came in. It was a good experience
Ken is friendly, there's a good selection, and there are people playing a game every time I've been in!
Love Ken's they always have great pre release events love the atmosphere and to Steve love you man you'll always have my business.
This is my absolute, all around favorite comic shop. Steve (the owner) had amazing products, and there's now a skate shop inside for three people that are starting to skateboard.
Nice people, they are very helpful and didn't mind looking up back issues of comic books for me. Lots of collectibles. Spaces to play games.
They made a deal. Kept there word and for that reason the transaction went well and they are decent in my ?? book! This was a few years back! Thanks
Great local game and comic shop. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Stop by and nerd out!
An excellent shop that carries speciality board games, comics, trading cards, action figures, manga, plushies, and graphic novels. Do not be fooled by the name; this place will have something you're interested in.
Steve is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He has a passion for comics, and it really shows in his customer service. Plus, he has a great selection of comics.
Always has the manga I'm looking for, but I feel like their selection of comic trades could be improved. Super friendly and helpful staff, though.
Nice place for games and Magic cards. They're really friendly and have a mascot kitty.

If you want it. Ken's has it. At least when it comes to comics, games, cards, and fantasy. Tell em Roger sent you.
A great place to get your geek on without breaking the bank.
They were so helpful and super friendly. Thanks guys!
Friendly staff, location was hard to find due to the one way streets.
The gentleman was very helpful and polite. Will go back

Good, friendly atmosphere. Tons of back issues!
My daughter likes to dance on the video games here.

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
