Took the family Cosmic Bowling Saturday Night. Was greeted right off the bat rudely from i'm guessing the manager. We had to go back up to get shoes and the Police officer on duty in charge of getting the shoes was a jerk. I do a lot of reviews and customer service keeps me coming back. Rarely ever do I leave a negative review but it warranted it this time. Our ball on lane 19 kept getting stuck and the score board kept malfunctioning. Other than that it was a good time.
We were in town and were looking for an evening activity that grandkids through grandparents could enjoy. KC Bowl was the closest so we decided to give them a try. We walked in and they weren't terribly busy for a Friday night so we walked up to the counter to ask about their rates and there were 3 gentlemen working behind the counter. The first 2 we talked to seemed irritated and annoyed by our basic questions and made us feel very unwelcome. A third person was far more helpful, but as he was explaining th
Great, fun safe place. We took a large group of 18 and they were awesome with us. Worked with us and all the issues we had. We will go back soon!
KC Bowl is a nice clean spot family-friendly good food lots of things to do there add a real good time there having bowls in 40 years but I had a good time
The place looks nice but make sure you call them before you assume they have open bowling. Their Google maps profile mentioned nothing about league bowling, only that the place opened at 11am. We showed up and apparently, they do not have open bowling until the afternoon/evening hours. Disappointed, my family made a 2 hour trip just to have to find another bowling alley with open bowling so make sure you call them before showing up.
We came Friday night and were wondering what cosmic bowl included. Was immediately handled with rudeness and they were not amused that we were asking questions. We left and won't be coming back.
We went to KC Bowl for a little Sunday date and had a nice time. Friendly staff and very clean with automatic score keeping. 1 game for 2 with shoe rentals was less than $20. A great family friendly place for some good simple fun. And as an added bonus they have a wide variety of food and drinks available.
Clean, friendly and an all around great time! Went with my school for a professional development day and hope to return soon!
The lanes and balls aren't bad and it's not that expensive, It's a great place to have a fun time bowling in KCK without spending too much money
The staff were very nice! We enjoyed our visit there with family. One suggestion I have is maybe not using kids' heights as the standard for bumper use. Our kids are young but tall for their age and sometimes there are also circumstances for kids that make it much more enjoyable for them to have bumper use. But again, we really appreciated the staff and the facility. Thank you!
Went here with hubby and our 4 kids ages 13,9,8 and 6 and let's just say he rung us up then said "I'll be right back" & after he came back our total is magically 140 and let's just say o felt the vibe of being discriminated against and I will never go back and will never recommend to anybody in my family of that I know!
Son and i decided to come here to have some time as my wife and daughter were attending a ballet. Clean place and friendly staff. Very up to date scoring system. I did notice one could preset certain bowlers to have bumpers when their turn was up. They also have the ball slide for young children as well.
Great place to have fun with family. Food is good and they treat ya very respectfully
Nice clean alley. Great service. Decent alley food with great service as well. House balls are like most, pretty rough. Clean RR.
We had our staff holiday party here with mixed ages and abilities. It was great! They were helpful in planning, accommodating for logistics, and great hosts the day of. We ordered lots of food and drinks for everyone and used the back bar room for a gift exchange. I'm so glad we got to have the party at a cool KCK business and hope to return again!
Have great deals for the family. The staff always nice. The midnight bowl was filled with teenagers but that's to be expected. Very nice facility.
The service was friendly, the prices were great the lanes were plentiful as it was Saturday afternoon. We had a nice time.
Russ is very good.He is redrilling my ball that was not right for me.Very knowledgeable about measurements.
Great family atmosphere! Lots of fun for all age groups! Best video graphics in town! Planning next group outing! Great Concession too!
Friendly staff, and not over priced. I think the music videos were a little risque for a family outing and could be more tasteful?????
Pretty good. Felt kinda awkward as a minority with how many Trump shirts people were wearing. Absolutely LOVE their pizza, would honestly consider going back just for it.
Best bowling alley ever! Great staff. Great food. Cool arcade room. Good drinks. A very great place for a party. The prices are really reasonable. It also has a pro shop were you can order stuff and get tips.
2/16/24 Came for Cosmo night (9:30pm-Midnight) with my family. I recommend booking a reservation in advance. To be guaranteed a lane/lanes. Everyone was friendly minus the guy working the bar/snack bar. He seemed like he did not want to be there. The girl making the drinks was energetic and friendly. Overall, it was a good time for a very low price. I recommend getting the green machine drink with double shots added.
Absolutely awesome staff, I've only gotten to bowl here once but I can't wait to come back again.
Whoever the idiot who answers the phone is needs to be fired. I called a week ahead of time to make reservations for a birthday party and they said they didn't take reservations. They said they had open bowl and that I could just show up and get a lane. I do so, and the morons say they're booked til 9:30. Clearly they can't even get the basics right, dont waste your time
Here to celebrate my cousins graduation.... Really enjoyed it.. nice family place
Went online to make reservations for date night for us and went to do it and wants me to make a reservation for 4 people. I called to ask and that is their policy. You can also show up and hope they have a lane available but no promise. So for two people to go you have to pay 60+ dollars just to bowl if you want to have a guaranteed lane. If not show up and best of luck if they have one or not. Rita on the phone was not very helpful. I understand the policy that they have but have no option for couples exce
Staff was very nice and accommodating. We have been going there every year for our late family Christmas. Very far pricing on food and drinks. Bathrooms could be cleaner. We really do love it here
Bowled 3 games, few games of pool, and tried the arcade. All good fun, everything worked great. Fried mushrooms and loaded tots were both good. No complaints at all, place was well maintained and clean, and friendly!
This place is awesome! The community is super helpful and nice. My mom met someone here and now I have a new stepdad that I really like. Also, my brother is in a league here! Thank you all for your great service!
Great place to play pool and have a drink!
Love having this place so close to home.
I had a lot of fun. It was a packed house for cosmic bowling but any time with friends and loved ones are definitely great times and KC Bowl helped to make it even better.
One of the nicest bowling centers I have been in.
Cool place to bowl! And the bar is pretty cool too. The bartender Brooke is awesome. Had a great time there. Good food too.
Fun time especially for Birthday days
Great friend and family atmosphere! Looking forward to next round! Thank you!??
The food is amazing when the usual cook is there. The staff is nice and the place is clean but I only put 4 stars for one reason. There is an older lady that works there with glasses and a terrible attitude. Every interaction I've had with her has been awful. She's so sour and rude. I hope she finds positive energy soon.
I live pretty close to the alley but it took me 3 years to go here. Did the Saturday night cosmic bowl thing. It was awesome. Solid set up and system (scoreboard and whatnot) is easy to interact with. Also, includes fun graphics on the board for added bonus. Music is great with multiple genres. Not too loud which is nice. Food is standard alley food. Meaning it's awesome. Beer is good. MAKE A RESERVATION FOR SATURDAY NIGHT!!! They fill up quick and your chances for getting a lane without one are sl
Great time, nice and clean, food was very good
Fun place with decent bowling alley type food My only complaint is that they refuse to put up bumpers for the majority of young kids regardless of experience level.
The lady with green dyed tips was very rude and had an attitude. If you don't like your job that much then quit.
Horrible management. Rude as can be. And, unfortunately, a solution to our problem could have been easily fixed but was not. An immature and unprofessional manager needs retrained. Equipment was not working correctly. The manager spoke directly to my 7 year old grandchild instead of speaking to his mother. This place will most certainly never get our business again.
We arrived an hour before bowling leagues and staff made it seem like they were doing us a major favor to ?fit us in.? We were told we could only bowl one game. We were done within 20 minutes, so we could?ve easily bowled another. Additionally, staff was rude, seemed irritated if we had questions or needed something (different shoes, questions about bumpers, etc.) Our kids were not allowed to use the bumpers due to ?being too tall.? Overall, a very disappointing experience; next time we want to bowl we will
Went in to enjoy a Saturday night with my partner and kid. Got moved to a different lane since the bumpers don't work. Other lane they didn't work either. Asked for a refund. The manager comes out and blames US bc my kid is too old for bumpers? He's 7! No one told us that when saying it was okay for him to have them. We paid $40 and got $28 back and we each bowled ONCE! Worst customer service experience ever.
We loved this place. We were there for New Year's eve and could spend worth time on last couple of hours of the year 2021. There is a kids play zone if you are planning to go as family. The staff is really supportive. Prices are reasonable and food and drinks are good.
Me and my girlfriend bowl here every Saturday, we always get great customer service the lanes are nice and we usually spend 2hrs bowling, sometimes 4hrs. The staff is quick to clean up between bowlers and quick to respond to any lane ,stuck ball or pin issues. That is why we keep coming back even though it's a little pricey.
They have a good special that we like for 37.00 for 4 people from 630 to 830 on Saturdays that I know of includes 2 hours of bowling, shoes, large popcorn and 4 drinks cheap good fun. Call and reserve your lane pay ahead of time. They take your temperature before you go in which I think is great. We go here quite often and so do my kids with their friends.
My 9-yr-old granddaughter & I love bowling here, & we love their food!! They have THE BEST popcorn!!!????
Original:2018 The bowling alley has newer equipment and TV/ monitors. I can always get a lane even outside of normal open bowling hours. The food is reasonable priced. The kiddos will like the arcade area and they offer daily specials and discounts. Update 2019: subtracted a star. Came on a quiet Wednesday. All the workers were older and very grumpy. I sat next to the register and listened as they complained about every customer request. I asked for a small cup so the tokens I was buying my children for th
you guys have a great bowling alley been there a few times nice bar clean bathrooms all around good experience
The food was delicious the drinks was delicious they are very nice there's no judgment they're very kind and sweet they really appreciate their customers I had an amazing time!
One of the counter helpers was a rude impolite person. Didn't seem very happy to get business. We had a party of 21@$13. a head. Do the math...doesn't include another $70. plus for food and drinks. Also got charged for iinfants. Never again. Only plus about the place was wolder lady at the food counter. Glad to spend our $300. somewhere people friendly.
Clean and well-run alley. We had a small group and enjoyed a great value with two hours of lane time, shoe rentals, and popcorn + sodas for under $50. Would recommend for anyone from the novice/fun bowler all the way through serious rollers.
We bowled for two hours, one lane, six people for about $40. The package includes a big bowl of popcorn and a small soft drink. We ordered ??. It was good. Pitcher of beer $10. Special bowling for kids. We played angry birds. A lot of fun and staff was friendly. Arcade also.
This place has a great atmosphere. Great beer selection. And a great place to bring your family to have a really great time. my wife and my daughter had an exceptionally good time while they were bowling and I had a few beers from the bar. the people behind the counter were very nice and helpful I would recommend anybody coming to KC bowl.
As soon as we parked,we noticed 3 guys standing around a car drinking whiskey & smoking weed, not even trying to hide their activity. Then upon entering we noticed immediately a stinky smell. Then we were quickly turned away told they have a tournament going on & we wouldn't be able to bowl until after 3pm. This was super frustrating considering I called ahead & was never told anything about a possible tournament. I do not recommend this business!
I came in there on Wednesday night when the games are 1.99 and went to the counter to get some food and buy me a beer. The person at the counter ask me for my ID and the ID of the people I was buying beer for, I was the only one drinking and I gave my ID and ask for 2 bud lights, she then told me I can only get one at a time, that I would have to come back and purchased again. What is the difference if I was purchasing a pitcher instead of 2 beers? She did not say anything I said whatever I purchased the on
Bowling was fine. Customer service at the food/bar was great. There is always a but....after spending $50 in the arcade. We won 567 tickets. The older heavy gentlemen behind the counter says 500 tickets. I'm a 48 year old man and the tickets are not the point but I mentioned to him unless my math was wrong its 567 tickets not 500. He shuffles the multiple tickets and then says I just estimated. I replied well I counted 567. He said 550. I just laughed and said I'm not arguing over arcade tickets wi
I always have a good time coming here plus the food is good here. Try their chicken wings & fried potato chips it's worth the wait trust me.
I left this alley a review a couple of months ago with 3 stars...I'm going to have to take this place down to a 1 star. I'm not usually one to play the race card but I'm convinced this place is borderline racist. They told me one thing on the phone, that there were quite a few lanes open, but we get there 30 minutes after I call and all of a sudden all the lanes are booked for a popcorn special?! But we could pay full price to bowl for 45 minutes until the "special" that takes up EVERY lane starts? Ummm th
First of all, I do not like bringing race into anything. I am Hispanic and felt very discriminated against. My boyfriend and I went inside and asked the cashier for a lane. The cashier had a mask pulled down around his neck while walking around the desk. We asked for a lane and he looked at me and said,? You need a mask?. This was said while patrons, who were white, were walking around without a mask. One of whom was waiting behind us, also without a mask. I asked why they were allowed to walk around withou
Front counter Workers were rude every time we talked to them About something. Even though we called and were told open lanes were until 9 once we got there we were told it was until 7 and it was already 5:40. We could have planned to be there earlier if we were told this on phone. Prices were good.
This is a great bowling alley. They truly care about there customers and want them to have a good time. I previously had a bad experience there; however, the manager made it up to me with free games and apologized/ explained to me the issue they were having with the ball returns. I thought this was very professional and showed they want everyone to have a good time here. Thank you KC Bowl for taking care of your customers.
It's a very nice place my son bowls there and I love watching him bowl and the atmosphere is amazing everyone is very polite
Nice bowling alley. The front counter staff that I dealt with was kind of rude but other than that the place was nice. The arcade is really good. UPDATE: 4/21/18: Went back again, staff was better this time...arcade was still really awesome for the kids, they had a great time playing games while the husband and i got in some lane time. I'll bet the kids spent 2 hours in that arcade. I edited my review and bumped it UP from 3 stars to 4 stars.
One of my favorite places to bowl! Lanes are well maintained. Lots of league activities to chose from for all ages and skill levels. Snack bar offers a good variety of items without breaking the bank; but no salads or other healthy choices ? (wish they would add some).
Very nice and clean great food good cook ...
Nuisance to the community. Play loud music and attract people who deal smugs in the parking lot.
While I waited for a lane to open a guy comes to my table and stands in my face and says you need to pay $14 if you're going to wait inside or you will have to go outside. He stood there uncomfortably aggressive until I moved. Will NEVER bowl here again!
Great atmosphere! The place is very modern in design and has big ceilings and good lighting. The staff is amazingly incredible, especially the people at the snack bar. The beer prices are the best in town for a bowling center. I would recommend this place to anyone!
I have a bit of a complaint. Recently we had a surprise birthday party there for my special needs child as bowling is one of his favorite hobbies. We reserved/pre paid for 10 lanes and had almost 60 people show up to bowl, the vast majority of whom were buying drinks from the bar and lots of concessions so id say we were bringing in a fair amount of revenue. As I had stated it was a birthday party so we had a few older/elderly friends and family members that just wanted to stop by and see the birthday boy.
Dude taking orders at the kitchen has the worst customer service, from 7 to 8 30 till later.. If you don't want to work there then quit! Other than that, great place!
Went to Cosmic bowl, had people from another lane keep entering ours. Asked management to put us on a different lane. They refused , we left and will be looking for another bowling alley to spend my money at.
Very nice and cozy. I felt comfortable and we all had fun!
Most of the staff was kind and very helpful. Wasn't very busy so liked not having a ton of people around. Nice atmosphere!
The staff was Great and so was the bowling experience. We had so much fun thank you to the gentlemen at the counter
Great place for family fun! The staff for the most part is great. My kids love the pizza & the amount of balls avaliable is a plus when you you have a group of people wanting to bowl!
My son participates in a youth bowling league at KC Bowl. We've always had positive experiences here. the staff is friendly, and the facility is clean. They have updated monitors and flat screens, which are user friendly. The snack bar has your typical yummy foods, including a huge portion of team nachos, and one of my favorites - fried mushrooms.
Absolutely and positively never going here again. I came in with a family of four me, my girlfriend, and her two neices. They were very rude and not to mention they lied to us stating that they were booked and they had a waiting list with four people ahead of us with only an hour left of business. Well it was 8pm and they close at 12am. So we decided to stick around at the arcade to entertain the children. When we noticed a group of six walk in shortly after us. As my girlfriend stood in line to get change
Had a good time with the family. I will suggest the popcorn special, but you will need hand sanitizer after sticking your fingers into bowling balls before dipping into the popcorn.
Staff is unfriendly. Showed up at 8:15 PM to bowl. They wouldn't let us pay and bowl because they started the cosmic bowl at 9:30 PM and didn't think an hour and 15 minutes was enough time to complete one game...we will not return to this bowling alley. There are plenty of nicer, more customer friendly bowling alleys in the KC area!
During our visit from out of state we came here with resident family members, Saturday night special 14$ per person 930 till midnight they literally they turn off all the lanes 12 on the dot while you are still bowling. Concession food and alcohol was reasonably priced over all we had a good time
Arrived to bowl, was prepaid for the one game with the guy behind the counter saying to come back after the one game due to a popcorn bowling deal coming up. No problem sounds like a good deal. I go back after the game for a woman behind the counter to tell me no I need to go. All sold out she claimed even though the vast majority of the alley was open. The guys next to us that bowled league there got to keep their lane though. I'm avoiding this alley from here on, I don't like shady business practices. Plu
I couldn't do half of star or no star...but If you looking for rude, unfriendly customer service this is the place for you. I just asked a question about can I see where my family was as far as in their bowling and with a very rude tone dude was like NO NO.. it $14 for to enter...I wasn't even going to bowl. Just wanted to see before I pay $14 to watch them and if they was going to be done in twenty minutes I wanted to know.. Then went to pay for another family members and the same rude guy was like for tw
At the risk of sounding snooty. This is a dive bar with out the music and great service... plus bowling. The food is amazingly bad. We spent the whole nite remarking on how horrible the food was. Bar tender was cool. Thier ONE pool table is short on balls.
Very busy tonight. Had to wait over 30 minutes, so lost 30 minutes of bowling. Usually a very fun outing at a reasonable price. Six sodas, big bowl of popcorn, shoe rental, and all the bowling you want for $32. Good deal!
delightful! Family fun! Staff were awesome! Food was amazing! And the gal taking food and drink orders knew what a red beer is!! It was tasty!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
