This place is fun and great for family, but the customer service sucks. Multiple of the bowling lanes broke on us while we were playing, while it was being fixed it took the time we paid for. They had to move us to different lanes 4 different times. We asked front desk to put more time on our clock. And the Asian lady with glasses who wears a mask, proceeds to raise her voice at us and tell us she added more time, when time was clearly how it was left, even though we kindly asked. Chubby?s has good eats and friendly staff! The staff at the counter for bowling, not so much. They always seem irritated that you're there and wanting to have fun. Slow confusing service on the phone and difficult to book parties. Great bar atmosphere though, especially on the weekends!

This place is fairly nice. It was clean and had clean bathrooms as well. But in the arcade section, they had quite a few games that were broken and out of order. The food was good but pricey for a bowling alley Cafe. Overall, this is a good place to hang out with your kids and friends.

Well and truly one of the worst customer service experience possible. The lady running customer service in particular be mad you exist but absolutely hate you came in. Imagine the McDonald?s ?ice cream machine broken? speech but for literally anything you might need. The idea of this place is great. Karaoke, arcade, bar, and bowling. We went on our last night on the island. It was $83 for an hour for 5 people. Our first lane kept shutting down so they ended up moving over to another lane once it opened up. It worked well for about 10 minutes and then we started having the same problem. We were very disappointed and ended up leaving early. There are a lot of things to do on the island so if you're on the fence, I would skip this one.

Food was so delicious. Came quick and the service was great. Sat behind the bar at a booth and ordered from the restaurant using a barcode on the table. Took maybe 5-10 minutes for the food to come.

Food is great. But, if you order a plate lunch or dinner, it is quite a lot of food! If you are very hungry then you're in luck. They have a nice variety of foods. And you can go bowling if you like. Weekends are especially busy!

Not bad considering its a dave&busters knock off. Very noisy, almost to the point of way to noisy but gr8 for the kids to burn some hard earned vaca funds. FULL bar and a busy little eatery that draws big crowds so it must be good. Lots of D&B video games, pool and bowling. How can u go wrong.

Took my Son for his 17th Birthday. What a blast. 2 hours of bowling, clean and organized. Bathroom was clean. Hand sanitizers all over. Fun arcade games and decent food too. Great place to bring the family.

This place was great for bowling on our last night in Hawaii. Seeing as it's likely hard to get parts for the alleys, it makes sense that they would have reoccurring malfunctions. We had to switch lanes because our first lane shut off and dropped all the pins after it had been dropping them for a while. Luckily, the manager on duty was more than happy to switch us over to the adjacent lane. I can't be too critical of the lanes seeing as I'm fortunate to come from a state that had many good bowling alleys so

Chubby had some delicious food, but the people in the bowling alley, especially that one Anteh, wanted to force us out early cause we were just having a fun time and that old ladeh manger take the beer that WE had paid for. The pint was still full, the manager never liked it when we wanted to finish the beer and leave. You old ladeh, retire early; you don't know how to have fun and you bowling alley staff gotta hop off our boto?s and mind your own business!

Bowling here is great for the whole family. We didn't have to wait for a lane and the prices were really reasonable. They need to add more ramps for handicap or children that would be my only recommendation to them. The music is great and not over powering. They have a great arcade with a large selection of games. This is a must do for any families visiting kona.

My husband and I had a wonderful date here playing arcade games and pool. Pretty reasonably priced, and hours of fun! A great activity for a rainy day on the big island. Hopefully next time the bowling alley portion will be less crowded, so we'll be able to play, but we still had a great time!

Was vacationing from Florida and wanted to try locale food and was told to come here. The food was absolutely amazing ?? ?? staff was absolutely fantastic and our server La'e was very helpful recommending dishes. The rice is a must have. The Manager Nako was very helpful in recommending other locations to see and experience.

The kids enjoyed the bowling and atmosphere. Much more upgraded than that of which I have been used to, which is a positive. The food was good but the service line to order was a long wait, arcade prices are average, which is kinda high. Pins often would not set right and kept having to go to counter to have it fixed without screwing up the score board.

I came here for a relaxing time to get out of the sun for a day. My experience was terrible. While I did have fun at the arcade, when we were ready to cash out our tickets it took twenty minutes to get any help. Two people looked at us, but didn't come over to help us. Great family fun. A little pricey but very entertaining. Regular price was 1 lane for 1 hour up to 6 people $40 and did not include shoe rental. They do have a late night special during week M-Thurs @ 9pm $25 for the last hour includes shoe rental. Always call ahead for reservation recommended! Kids love the arcade side with all the games that win tickets for prizes. Also they have party packages.

I hate to leave this review as food and bar were great! However, checking into bowling on Thursday 11/10 felt very uncomfortable. At one point the person checking us in stopped and stared at me a good 3 minutes of uncomfortable silence. It was a very weird experience. People joining us felt just as strange when getting their shoes. The person checking in bowling this night was very rude and short. Definitely wrong position.

It started off rocky with me calling for 2 days with no answer. Im actually still here and I'm writing this review. Not sure if I've done that before. The place is decently clean and offers some fun options like arcade, bowling, bar, food. But me and my girlfriend went here and spent $100!! All we did was the hour bowling, 1 meal and 2 sodas. Doesn't matter how good this place could be, that is just unacceptable that an hour of cheap bowling, ok customer service, drunk people, and sub par food costs that much!

Finally found a place with all maintained tables to play pool! They have so much more though. It's a good place for the whole family.

Nice friendly staff. Lanes are packed so reservations are good if you planning to bowl. Awesome food. Bar opens a little late at 12... awesome concerts .... but could work more on service as in more staffing.

Staff was nice, and facility is decent. If you're going for the bowling, you will be disappointed. We played 5 games back to back. The lanes are prepped poorly, and without much use there's too much oil on the lanes and balls so bowling well is not an option. Also, 7 frames had only 9 pins drop, 4 times the machine got stuck and needed fixed to drop any pins, and 3 frames had random pins drop from the machine into the 10 that were set.

We used to love coming here a lot before, but with the changes to the arcade area, it makes us not want to come back. The new card system they have is a tap system. It's not a slide one like fun factory. So for my little ones, ages 2, 4, and 8, it was easy for KBXtreme to "steal" money from their cards because it was a simple tap and money was taken out. We also went to bowl, but the wait time was so long, we waited 2 hours and eventually went back to our condo. I give 3 stars because the food is always goo

Went here for the super bowl party they had going on and also to play arcade games. I was thoroughly pleased with the atmosphere and the selection of games. Some of the games were out of order, but they were games that weren't real ticket winners so not a huge deal. The games are fairly priced compared to other card based arcades and the prizes aren't half bad and are manageable to get to if you're willing to put the time in. Didn't have a chance to bowl but the lanes looked nice and they have a projector

I love this place. I normally don't bowl nor do I play the games they have though I will on other visits. The bowling lane look well maintained and the game look fun. I eat there and I play games located on the back bar. The food and beverage prices are reasonable and thier customer service is personable. The food is always great. They have one pool table and a person can even do some singing in the karioka area. Very nice.

We had a great time as a famiy group. Where KBXtreme fell short was the lack of enthusiasm from the employees and the food was somewhat bland. Also, i took my son over to the arcade area and most of the things he wanted to play or could play were out of order.

Great bowling alley, a bit of activities for the whole family. Clean and aur conditioned. But they shortchange minors during afternoon bowling. Don't have videos and great music until after 5 p.m. which is a bummer for afterschool bowling. A little pricey for per hour bowling & food is a little pricey too. Bring $$. For adults? Expensive but a good time. The bowling computers were fun! You could take pictures and add them to the bowlers. There was an option to change the screen so that it'd put your face on characters and it would play funny little videos. Great time with the family! Best part by far was the restaurant they had in there!! Chubby's! Most check out regardless of bowling.

Their deals are advertised a bit incorrectly and they seem very overpriced for bowling. Not to mention the Karaoke room is 21+ which is not stated anywhere and incredibly unfair and ridiculous. Nowhere else in the states or even on Oahu is it a problem to have someone 18+ with you for freaking Karaoke. Highly dissatisfied with that. The only redemption was the arcade was fun.

This place is amazing! The food is sooo great! I had the fish n chips and it was so moist and delicious. Lots of cool arcade games for kids of all ages and of course bowling which is always lots of fun! Will defenitely be coming here again!

The best place to take your keiki's to enjoy a day of bowling and games, or plan ahead and have a Birthday Party. There's a bar area for the adults as well as karaoke. It's an awesome place to go for sure. They have a restaurant with anything from pupu's to an actual full plate. I have a many occasions taken my kids and enjoy as much as half a day there, and will continue to go!

I recently ordered a chicken katsu loco moco and the amount of chicken I got was way less than before, everything was good except the amount of chicken. Towards the end I was just eating gravy and rice. The most annoying part is that I still spent the same amount. Don't eat here unless you want proportions that change with every visit.

No management or order of any kind. All the employees are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Definitely not worth the headache. And the karaoke was a total lie.

Expensive, but I guess it makes sense given that it's the only bowling alley on the island. Alley is very new and has cool scoring computers. You also win tickets based off of your score during a game which can be redeemed for prizes by the arcade area. Pretty cool. I had an issue with my ball getting stuck but was comped extra time for the inconvenience. Overall had a good experience.

Bowling lane kept malfunctioning. Understaffed (staff that was there was trying their best), had to wait forever to claim ticket prizes. Unfortunately we won't return unless they fix some of these issues

Great place to bowl. Double check online to make sure there's not a league playing when you go or there might not be lanes available. There's also arcade games and a restaurant inside. Google maps still thinks the parking lot connects at the post office, but it doesn't.

I go here quite often to play pool and shoot darts their food is really good for a bowling alley and game room is mostly local dishes I think some of the stuff I've never even heard of but I've ventured out and tried a couple dishes I can't even pronounce and it was good the staff is usually helpful and courteous and cleaned and uniforms nice place for a family

So get this we walk into the karaoke room which looked like it was full of boring people , me and my sisters were ready to spice this place up. Then they procceded to ask for our IDs... in a BOWLING ALLEY. the bar wasnt even in this karaoke room (and mind you we called earlier and they said we would be allowed in under 21). Hubby n I went to meet Ohana here Thursday afternoon 4 days ago. Just to eat and catch-up as we live on Oahu and haven't seen them In quite a while. We ordered so that we could eat Ohana style. They really have fun for everyone in mind when they update and upgrade our kona bowling alley. Clean, safe, fun place for all ages to let loose and have some laughs, one grinds, and leave with some really cool prizes too.

It surprised me how nice this establishment was. It's a little hidden, but once we found it were haven't stopped going. I love the arcade and my husband's plays pool (pool table could be better).
