Kawaii Klaws of Cedar Park

Kawaii Klaws of Cedar Park

Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the friendly, helpful staff who often rearrange prizes to improve winning chances. Many customers enjoy the fun atmosphere and quality prizes, with several reporting successful wins. However, some criticize the machines for being overly difficult or rigged, with claws frequently dropping prizes or requiring excessive spending for minimal rewards. While many rate it highly for entertainment value, others feel frustrated by inconsistent payouts and high difficulty settings. The overall sentiment is mixed but leans positive, with frequent mentions of excellent service offset by complaints about machine fairness.

Customer Reviews

Awesome spot, a wide array of claw machines. They are on payouts but we always felt like we had a good chance to win. We got a great bang for our buck, we only spent $50 but we were able to stay for a long time and got many prizes and still had credits left over for next time. This is a great spot to go with friends and family or if you just need to play a bunch of claw machines!

This place was really fun! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Can't hype them up enough! If I was ever stuck and having a hard time grabbing an item they would happily rearrange the items in the machine. Most machines paid out quickly but the ones that didn't I got help with and won within a turn or two.

Took my 6yr old daughter. She loves crane games but the selection of places are limited. She did pretty good for her first time here. I did load her card with $100. Same amount we do at Mt. Playmore. Difference here though...the stuffed animals are not cheap quality. I was surprised. Will we be back, yes for sure!! Also...... The girl that was working there was very helpful, even asked if we wanted the animals re arranged.

staff is SO FRIENDLY and helpful. just expect play as any other claw machine but the workers will help you try to win if you ask! :) my kids enjoyed it and so did I.

We visit claw machine arcades whenever we are in a city that has them. We saw the reviews for this one saying how it was impossible to win anything. At first, we were feeling that way but then the awesome employee working helped to rearrange some of the machines so my kiddo had a chance to win a few. We were so thankful and left with a bag full of stuffies.

I'd rate this place 0/5 if I could. Spent $20 and literally picked up an item every single time (apart from once when the claw didn't even drop) and I watched the claw open at the top everytime. Very rigged. Ik these places are but I figured we'd win at least one thing? Especially after seeing influencers promote new ?stronger claw settings?. It was difficult to explain to my intellectually disabled daughter why it was literally letting go after grabbing something everytime. Huge disappointment for her, and

Service here is exceptional. The clerk working here will do pretty much do anything to help you have a good time: rearrange the one you want to have a fighting chance, swap your winnings with anything else in the game. Sadly that's where the good things end here. These games are made to lose hard. My wife and I are seasoned claw gamers and go way out of our way for a cool claw arcade. Finding out there was finally an alternative to Pinballz in the Austin area got us excited, then really let down. 22

I went in with my kids, setting the expectation that we were going to waste our allowance, win nothing, and leave angry. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Most games work out to be $1 a play, which is steep but not outrageous as arcades go. For that price, though, staff are very accommodating if you need them to shuffle the prizes in a cabinet when nothing is winnable. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty packed. Despite that, Blanca was very attentive and helped us buy new ca

I felt like this place was a rip off to be honest. The machine itself moves so much as you are controlling the joystick, the card reader isnt stable meaning the machine will constantly restart, payouts pretty high (7-8 tries to get 1 plushie), and not that many choices either. This is where I felt like I was ripped off. I asked if the labubu plushies they had for the trade up was authentic and asked to see the sticker label and the employee said it was authentic but they removed the stickers. Thinking that

We visited Kawaii Klaws today and it is fun even for adults. If they served booze and food I would come here all the time. The games are a little difficult, but we ended up winning a bunch of games. Don't listen to the people in the reviews saying is a scam. Klaw machines are meant to be a challenge and the jerk at the top is all part of the game.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but ever since I gave this place my phone number for "if you lose your game card," I've been getting upwards of 6 spam texts every single day... Aside from that, it's a fun little place, although it's blazing hot inside. Also, as usual with claw games, these are rigged, but these are rigged in such a way that the claw will literally open itself back up just enough to drop your prize. It's not just that the claw jostles around a lot or that the claw is loose; the claw is solid when

It's very cute in here! I don't know much about claw machines but this is seems like a fun place to kill some time. They also sell blind box things like labubus which is nice since there aren't any Popmarts in Austin.

The staff was super chill and sweet. Thanks Blanca you are super awesome. Spent 64 dollars and won 15 plushies. Me and my fiancee are avid claw game players. This is the first claw machine place to be pretty lenient in adjusting the plushies to help you have better odds in winning. The machines do have a lot of bounce when reaching the top. Strength in the grabs do get the plushies it's the rise that is tricky. Hope to come back when they have a restock on plush. There is a trade system where you can put yo

Brand new place! Working out some of the kinks in their machines but working with customer feedback. They'll reposition prizes for you to make it easier to win. They've got massive plushies on the back wall that change out every week from how often people win them. Bags stuffed with plushies bigger than the kids winning them.

The claw machine arcades in Houston are set such that you can win a prize every few tries. Went here thinking that it would be similar, but even after spending $50, we were only able to get two prizes, and one of the prizes the worker basically had to give to us after the plushie not falling in all the way.

I was very surprised by how much we liked this place. We walked out with like 6 different items and they even let us swap one stuffed animal with another in the same machine. I tend to absolutely hate claw machines as a scam, but for once they were actually legit.

We went last weekend and we had a good time, they had a balloon animal maker there and it was free so the kids got some balloon animals, we spent about $100 for all 4 of us to play and walked away with 10 plushies. It's about the same we would pay at any other place just to get crappy plushies however these are great quality. They had a pretty good selection, got some Kirby, hello kitty, Pok?mon, stitch and other cute looking ones. They are easier to get than most claw machines the key is to know when somet

As a claw machine fan I was excited for one to finally open in Austin, but like others have said the machines pick prizes up but they jerk so hard when they reach the top that it flings it out of the claw. Payout is set extremely high, higher than most of these style claw arcades. Will give them another chance but I hope they take this feedback seriously and make some adjustments. Also the machine that gives out game cards was not set up properly, hopefully this is fixed in the near future.

Been to the ones in Houston and you all ways felt like you were gonna win something. This one is a rip off save your money. The claw machine will pick up items and right as it's about to go in, the claw will open and toss it back into the pits of plushies. We tested it with every machine and they all did it. When we sat at a machine for a long period after a while we noticed the claw would no longer randomly open and fling plushies. After we won a plush it went back to flinging plushies. I was super upset b

Besides it being nice and clean and some staff being friendly, The claw machines are like an actual scam. I've been here twice and spent over 50 dollars and barely walk out with anything. Place is hella rigged , just save your money and go somewhere else IMO

We brought our two kids here and the manager, Stephanie, was extremely helpful! They helped reposition several claw machines to make it a little easier and we left with two happy kids!

This place is pretty cute. They have multiple pricing options and a variety of cute prizes. It's definitely worth a stop to add a little bit of fun to your trip to the mall!

Always have a blast coming here. The prizes are good quality .

great time, you definetly get your moneys worth, and there are lot of prizes to try to get! the workers even allow you to move the prizes to your liking! great place!

My daughter and I enjoyed playing the claw machines. It is possible to win, but you have to pick up many times waiting for the one that doesn't drop the prize. $2 for a card and $20 in play credits, and we got three prizes, which we were quite satisfied with! The plushies are very cute. Much more fun than other arcades where it seems like the claw machines never pay out. Also, you can ask the staff to reposition the prizes, like you see in YouTube videos of arcades in Japan!

Came to this place again a few weeks after opening. The machine settings are waaaay different vs the opening weekend. The machines are at a different settinngs. Now the claws jerks so much after picking up an item, that the whole cabinet shakes hard. The shake is so strong that literally the claw opens and drops the item, only to go back open again just to drop air. I know this kind of places are meant to be slightly rigged, but wow, these peoples went all the way to rig it. I could really tell that nobody

Great claw place!! Great variety, and amazing prizes to be won!

i went a couple times and had a really good experience, i won two authentic labubus and the employees were all super sweet and helpful in making our time enjoyable

Yay we got a lot of plushies, staff friendly and would rearrange plushies when requested, fun time

Great value, supportive, and kind customer service! Also has a very uplifting environment.

This is my new favorite place in the mall. So much fun and so worth the money. Even my 15 year old son started wanting to play after a while

Plush toys are not regularly restocked. Hard to catch as well. Does not give you the sense of satisfaction for catching.

it a fun place to chill and win prizes from. me and my friend had a blast coming to this place. I would recommend coming if you haven't came to the place yet.

Great machines with a wide variety of prizes

My son really enjoyed playing. It was our first time here

So fun! And the claws are strong. You can definitely win some toys.

I'm not sure who could go in this place and then have anything good to say. I've got to believe any positive review is fake. To say this place was a let down is not strong enough. Such a scam! Do not waste your time or money.

This place was so much fun! Won plushies and squishys! #

So many prizes to try to get! Definitely a place to go to!

Rigged with absolute trash odds. Look at other customers and notice nobody is walking around with any wins.

Very clean and very friendly. My son had a great time!

I grabbed something every time and then watched as the claws open the second it gets to the top. Pretty disappointing to not even get 1 even after spending 150 credits

This place is awesome! The whole family had a blast and staff was so nice!!

Great experience. Had fun dropping claws.

This place is so amazing I recommend for some fun!

Me and my kitten had lots of fun!

So cute, so many machines and helpful staff

The manager was so sweet, definitely coming back

Its so cute and family friendly!!

My kids and I love this place!

It's a scam guys don't waste your money.

I didn't know stores like this exist! A fun experience and the staff is very friendly :)

These claw machines are not rigged and have tons of prizes. Had a great time and will definitely come back.

This place was awesome. You guys should all come here!!

If a 13 year old can win 11 plushies in 15 dollars, you probably can too. Definitely going for my 14th birthday on the first of July.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
