This place is so awesome! This is so clean. The gentleman that helped my new phew was so kind. He helped my nephew get oriented on the games and VR. He showed him how to use everything and was funny! I totally recommend this place. We started with the 30 minute Groupon, then upgraded. Since no reservations were made, we were able to add 60 minutes. What a dope concept! My nephew totally loved it. They have decent priced snacks and drinks too.
Amazing experience and time together with kids!!! I was skeptical at the beginning, know nothing about games, especially VR, but kids (12 and 14) insisted, so we went to try it out. It was surprisingly great, and I need to confess that I [mom] enjoyed it probably even more than my teens :). Staff is very patient and respectful. My recommendation for parents would be to give it a try - you and your kids might love it. We are definitely coming back again and will have dad as well this time.
I heard about this place from a banner ad at work. Finally got a chance to check it out. The location is relatively small, but offers much. 7 VR areas are set up along with 10 computers for online gaming. The price seems a little high for a single hour of VR, but one can cram a surprising amount of VR games into an hour, and perhaps it would be less of a blow to one's wallet if multiple people chipped in. The cost can be lessened somewhat due to the loyalty program, but one would have to pay a fair amount
The games were incredible, however the staff explained the instructions and mechanics for way too long!!! It seemed like they were stalling to let some other customers finish up in the stations we had reserved, but instead of telling our party they just gave an extra long tutorial. Once we started playing though, it was absolutely incredible!
Welcome to the future! The technology of games really took a leap. As an adult, I enjoyed playing non violent VR game slicing blocks to the beat of music. We came for a birthday party and really enjoyed our time. This could be a corporate team building getaway or family event. Drop ins are also welcome. The guys who run it are super nice and take good care of their machines. Everyone had something to do, from youngest kid to an adult! Prices are quite reasonable too. Highly recommend to go and check it out
Went a while ago with my sweetie and had such a blast, we stayed for hours. We brought our friend from out of state to try VR for the first time and took her here. Was so deeply disappointed. They removed several of the fun games that made our first experience so great, games were laggy and two just didn't work at all. Not sure if they restart the system after each use cause it doesn't seem like it, seems like games just ran for so long they stopped working.. Could be anything... But we payed for an hour an
Our kiddo says, "staff is nice and helpful." Their equipment is easy to use with a variety of VR games. Parents can wait in there as seating is available in most VR spaces. You can access your steam account through the computers. One hour of fun can cost you $20--which is pretty standard.
This place definitely needs rebranding, its logo and website look pretty low-quality, but the place itself is really cool. I love the lighting they installed inside, the staff is friendly, and game selection they have is great! Hardware and software works perfect, had no issues so far. If you go there, try Beat Saber with Bohemian Rhapsody, and Bloody Mary
Great experience, this place is definitely worth checking out, even for those who haven't done VR before. The helpful and friendly staff were especially appreciated in getting us going and offering tips along the way. Bring friends for even more fun in multiplayer games. Highly recommend!
4 of us went for my (adult) nephew's birthday. This was the first time doing any VR. We were about 10 min late to our reservation due to traffic so instructions given were pretty fast. The 4 person player game was a lot of fun. My only issue was, I have to wear glasses to see and the goggles applied a lot of pressure against my face. I wish they had at least one set of larger goggles for eyeglass wearers. I might try again without glasses to find if there is a sweet spot. Just not sure I want to pay
My family had an awesome time at this place. The owner is amazing. His knowledge of gaming and how the software works is what makes this place fantastic. No glitches, everything was explained in detail to a kindergarten level. I will go again.
Learned of this place thru an email coupon offer. Upon arrival I learned they'd been open for almost a year. The staff was very nice and helpful. Slev took the time to have my kids go thru the tutorial plus helped them get setup for their four-player game. He didn't start the timer until they started playing, which was nice as we had taken about 15 minutes to get all set up. They have a variety of games and the space is nicely open and easy to sit and watch while your kids or other players play their ga
The staff was great!! Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The game selection was extensive! I haven't had such a fun time at an arcade in a long time. Would recommend for anyone looking to experience VR for the first time or experienced players!
Too pricey for just an hour. Staff are not really that helpful somewhat neglectful. I would come back if the price or length of play time changes other than that I'll stick to game works. 1 star. Game is great but just wasn't enough time to play plus they charge $25 for a tutorial.???????? yeah probably won't be back unless things change.
We have been to Kaboom VR on MANY occasions. My family and I have always left with smiles on our faces! We've been to another VR facility, but will not be going back to the other facility. Kaboom VR has much better prices, many more headsets and a lot more games to choose from. The employees have always been helpful. Thank you Kaboom!
Pretty cool vibes I'm glad that people are doing this, I know it's not necessarily the most profitable endeavor to get into so you only do this type of arcade if you truly love gaming and I respect that a lot. but it does kind of seem like they probably would have more business if their rates were more affordable. It feels weird to say that given what I just said, but if you're only relying on "whale" customers who have the money to drop, you'll probably find that your earning reports are often inconsistent
I have been here several times, as part of a large group as well as with a single other person. Every time the staff is friendly, quick, and super helpful. Great selection of games too, both VR and on their PCs.
This place smelled like old hoagies and there was literally a guy yelling religious slurs the whole time while he was gaming. The owner wasn't very helpful or enthusiastic. If you're experienced with VR and don't mind loud distractions disrupting your experience then you'll probably enjoy it. Also i did the 20 dollar vr experience and some games were broken. My boyfriend did the 40 dollar one got stuck and received no help so he was just stuck wasting time. I get it some people are experienced with vr but
I played Arizona Sunshine (zombie shooter) cooperative with my sons to kill some time before flying home. Great experience! Nice owner onsite. Would definitely go back.
Went on vacation to this place with my bf and I did not regret it at all. We had so much for I had to go again before out flight back to Dallas. Now I'm addicted to VR Games. Plus it wss my first time playing VR so it was an adventure to me. The staff their was ok. Seem very monotone other than that it wss awesome.
The owner was super nice and welcoming and very patient with us since it was our first VR experience. Very knowledgeable staff & clean environment. I would highly recommend this place over any other. We also tried a different VR establishment & was no where near as impressed. Kudus to Kaboom!!!! Will definitely be back when in Denver again.
Friendly staff, very willing to explain how things work if it's your first or second time and you need a refresher. Lots of fun, they have driving and regular VR, computers set up for co-op gaming like Overwatch and the like, large tv in back for watching the competitive E-gaming leagues. There's plenty of space in the booths so you don't bump into walls all the time. Can't wait to go back!
A hidden gem just off Alameda near Lowry. So much fun for all ages and skill levels. There's sure to be a game/genre for everyone. Certainly the most affordable of the few VR places in Denver. We'll definitely be back!
Went today with a friend, it was a lot of fun. There's different things you an do like VR Racing, but me and a friend reserved a party room ($35/hr I believe for a single person, and $45/hr for up to 4 people sharing a VR headset) which had different games (like JobSimulator, shooting games, rythmn games, a horror game, etc.) . It was fun, and the people there were really nice! Hope more games are added like Unturned or BeatSaber.
A great place, the staff is incredibly nice, the facility is very clean, organized, nice looking and peaceful. You can come and play with your friends multiplayer with the VR that's what I did and it was a really fun experience, I can't wait to be back.
SO much fun!! I am not a gamer and this was amazingly fun!! My family was able to play games together. I totally recommend this. So clean and staff super friendly!
We had such a fun time playing here! The gentleman was very helpful and explained exactly how to use the VR system. We played Eleven Assassin and had SUCH a blast! We will definitely be coming back to play more games!
DONT GO. Waste of money and time I was misled by the advertising on thier website . States 1-2 per room. When I got there the Employees were too busy playing their games on thier computers to be welcoming . They weren't friendly. Weren't smiling faces. They took a while to even acknowledge my existence. They didn't greet me and asked if I ever been here. (Cause I haven't) They didn't go over any options or what was available They knew I was there with another person but didn't bother explaining the rules
Roomscale booths had plenty of room. Computers powerful enough to run games like Raw Data without any lag. Great setup with couches and tvs to let friends see why you are flailing around. They also have car setups to allow for multiplayer racing. Prices are the best I've seen for VR experiences. Decent selection of games but I wish they had Space Pirate Simulator and Valve's The Lab.
This place was a lot of fun. I am loving VR! The guy working was very helpful and explained how everything works, he even stayed near by to make sure I didn't get stuck on anything.
We had a GREAT TIME HERE!! Staff is SUPER nice and professional and the facility is the perfect size. We did virtual room AND racing and loved both! Definitely will return here!
If you like VR, this is a great place for playing 30min, 1 hour or more VR games at a good price. And there's a great coffee shop next door. They offer veteran and senior discounts.
I took my kids there yesterday, the attendant wasn't wearing a mask and the place was filthy. I don't really think they even sanitize the equipment. Kids had fun tho.
Just finished my 2nd VR experience, and msn was it awesome! I could play Arizona Sunshine, Beat Sabre, and Job Simulator all damn day! The people here are great, they set me up explained everything, and left me to my VR gaming room. I had a blast, and will be back very soon.
Went with my family today for our first experience with vr. We tried the vr racing and played a couple amazing vr games like beat saber. Overall very friendly staff and great experiences, everything worked exactly as it should. I thought that their prices were very reasonable for what you get and I will be returning
We found this place in Groupon and I must say, WORTH IT! It's super cool. If you're not exactly sure what to do the staff are there to assist i your great experience! It's worth every penny try it out!
Cool place to play VR games or just game. I visited to VR side by side with a friend. The Staff is friendly and helpful. All their machines are high end. Rates are reasonable. 10/10 will visit again.
Went there today lots of fun but a couple of small problems but other then the fact that every now and then the headset would black out for a little bit it is fun I played beat saber on expert+ and won staff are nice and helpful to when I got an error also played superhot has some awesome fun also the prices are the cheapest around this is unbelievable! Another recommendation for the company is to get rooms with the oculus rift s or valve index oculus rift s is a good price aswell! Also a new release I thin
First off the place is dirty. The bathroom had pee all over it. I would rather use a 7-11 bathroom. I was afraid to sit on the couch for fear of getting bugs. If you've never done VR this is not for you. The time starts before you get your instructions. The staff is very Condescending and rude. They don't ask questions about your experience with VR. The experience was not worth what we paid.
I know the owners Awesome guys. Haven't been in yet but my son says it was fun and well worth the money. I will be trying it for sure
Played multiplayer Zombie game, and it was WAY to real...lol...left that to the kids and husband. Did Google Earth Solar Eclipse, and was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Could definitely see using the Google Earth for relaxation.
This place has great customer service. The pc and vr are good and you can play anything you want and also they clean them after every use so I feel safe playing
Solid VR stations with good games that also allow for multiplayer! Beat Saber is amazing by the way. Make sure to play that if you use VR.
Brought my nephew to the arcade to schedule a time or even walk in waited 15 minutes no one came or even had a bell to present ourselves. We walked to the back didn't see anyone and No one was up there so we left. It was kind of disheartening because my nephew really wanted to come.
Arrived at 1045 on a Saturday night when the website says they are open until midnight. The employee inside locked the door as we got out of our Uber and did not have the courtesy to at least open the door and explain. Unfortunate and rude experience. Will not be coming back.
The place as clean, the equipment was new and there was a good selection of fun games. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of Fun!!!
Just took my 3 boys and they had a ton of fun! People were really nice and the place was really clean. We will be back!
This place had fantastic setup and systems for my entire group. Equipment worked flawlessly and I cannot wait to go back.
It was great! They had interesting games and it was an overall nice time. Maybe with time there can be new games and it will get even better
I went here for my birthday and had an amazing time. Very fun, lots of different things to do, I recommend coming here.
On vacation when we found Kaboom VR. Not familiar with what it was (don't have them where we live). We decided to give it a try because of the deal on Groupon. So glad we did. I wish we had more time and another day to go back.
It was fun watching my kids have a good time. Next time I will be better prepared so they can all play at once.
First time doing virtual reality and the guy explained and helped us pick a great starter game. One of the coolest gaming experiences out there!
Great place to play VR didn't have to wait very long, staff very nice and knowledgeable, not too expensive
Something interesting to try. My teens had a blast. No water fountain, bathrooms need some attention.
Had lots of fun with first VR experience. Great variety of games too!
Amazing experience... Definitely coming back. Alot of games to play... Friendly environment.
Great prices, offers private rooms, friendly and helpful staff, overall a very fun and comfortable environment
My man loves it great gifes thanks guys .we order a extra 1hr and was happy to stay a little late..we well be back
Alot of fun. Wheels and pedals are sub par. But overall a blast. Thanks guys. Will be back
Very fun. Very nice equipment and family friendly. Great staff
We had a great time. My son played job simulator and I tried circuit racing game.
Perfect for those just want the experience, but aren't wanting to put the money towards it. Pretty fun!
First time ever with a VR and the guys staffing the place are amazing. They explained everything very clearly.
Helpful staff, comfortable atmosphere. Nice rigs, fast and good collection of games
Nice place took my kids and had fun escaping the room was fun going tomorrow
Great place to come play PC games. I am here often, cool atmosphere.
Had a ton of fun! Friendly and helpful staff!! Will be going back!
Unimpressed and poor quality system. 1/2 of our time here was spent waiting on games to load. I won't be coming back.
Rented the whole place out and had a blast I would recommend this to anybody
Great and very friendly stuff.my favorite place to play computer games
Awesome experience. Plenty of different ways to enjoy vr.
Great service and a great selection of games in the VR section.

Convinced me that VR is good enough to have fun with now
Iss pretty good, lil expensive.
Excellent place to just chill and play games
Had a good experience! Thanks for being open
Great experience. Must try in person
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
