Great experience! The staff was friendly, and both the track and go-karts were in excellent condition. Definitely a fun and well-maintained place to race!
Fun place for my kids to race and have a good time. They had a great time. And the staff was friendly and helpful. When a car had an issue for my youngest, they paused the race and brought him a new car so he could enjoy the race with everyone.
Have to buy a membership in order to race, we called 30 minutes before and were told it was a hour and 30 minute wait. Decided to come early and no one was here. Literally empty. Chase our cashier was very short and a snappy with us when we had questions and wouldn't even look us in our eyes. Wont be coming back.
K1 speed was a great experience. A group of us from NSBE visited as a networking/social event. The staff was superb at facilitating our group of 12, keeping the races moving, and balancing safety with fun. The facilities were clean and spacious. The other arcade games were a nice diversion between races. We were 12 adults so it's not a space just for kids. I'd recommend!
I had a great first experience with electric go-karts! If you're a racing fan, this place is a must-visit. The helmets are clean, the go-karts are well-maintained, and the staff is helpful. My daughter loved racing here. I highly recommend this place for the whole family.
I took my 10 year old son here and he had a blast! He asked to have his birthday party here this year, which they offer!!
Amazing energy! Maybe the best entertainment in North Dallas! An experience that will stay with you for a long time. My friends felt that the cars were very exciting! I tried it as well and I was impressed with acceleration as well! I have driven many fast cars, but I still enjoyed it immensely!
I've been to this location multiple times and each time has been pretty good. They widened the track a few years ago which made this location much better than Arlington. The staff haven't been a problem, the facility is not bad either. Almost every time the karts have been fine with little difference between them but a couple times I've gotten some wonky karts, brakes not that good, tires a little worn. I personally bring my own helmet so I can't comment on their loaner ones.
What a fun way to spend time. Be aware that ride purchase packages are PER RIDER so you can't buy a 5 pack and share rides. You have to buy separate packages per rider. However, if you have a teenage or almost teenage boy you can't go wrong. They love it. A bit pricey.
Nice place to enjoy indoor karting with arcade games. It feels little expensive to me as they sell you membership for a year per person. Also, go karting prices are on higher side. Overall karting is fun here, arcade games seem secondary business within this place. Pool table is good alternative but have to buy gaming card to play!
The go-karts were fast and in good condition, providing a fun racing experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time there. Buying multiple races at once offers a better deal, and they don't have to be used all in one night. We had a great date night and will definitely be back.
one major downside. The staff member giving instructions?his name was Curtis?was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was yelling and not at all friendly toward the kids, which really killed the vibe. My daughter was nervous because of how aggressive he was, and it honestly turned what should?ve been a great memory into a disappointing one.
GREAT TIME!!! Girls/Date night fun! This location doesn't serve alcohol or fountain drinks. Bar type food, mini arcade area, and great race track photo opportunities. Really enjoyed K1 and will return to this location and try out the other one!
I took a date and we had an excellent time. It was on a Wednesday evening and we were the only two on the track. Everyone there was very helpful and answered questions. Would definitely recommend when you have the need for speed.
Nice indoor race track, but the staff could be more helpful and a little nice. The space feels mostly empty, and overall, this branch doesn't quite justify the price? still, it was fun!
Me and my boys had a great time. All of the staff were so very nice and helpful. Go-carts are fast and fun. Since there were five of us we got the cheapest race plan each, which gave us two races, 12 laps each race. My boys were satisfied and grateful for the two races, all felt like we got plenty of racing time. Experiences with your kids leave longer-lasting memories than traditional gifts. We will do it again.
We had so much fun. Our son was leaving to go to France and the owner really made him feel special. It was a great experience and we will absolutely be back!
Great place to help build kart racing/driving skills. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. A few hate their jobs and need to go find something that makes them happy. The karts are in pretty good shape and seem to run well.
Super fun!! Got the membership pass $70 and some change you for 2 sets of 12 laps and shirt or hat. They do have drinks and snacks and an arcade!! Lots of packages and single races to choose from. Junior and adult karts.
The carts here are very nice and fast. The racing is very fun here. We had a great night of racing. The staff was very friendly and helpful to use as it was our first time here. It is definitely not our last time. The more races you buy at once the better the better the deal and they dont have to be used all in one night. We had a great date night here!
Very cool indoor racing track. Unfortunately the communication between employees was very poor, and they were pretty unhelpful and rude to our group. We waited over 2 hours, despite it not even being crowded! Can't imagine how long it would have been if it had been more crowded. My cart was deactivated/partial power for almost the entire second race, which was a bummer for the price. We still had a fun time in the end though.
My son and his friends wanted to go kart, took them to K1 speed.. overall it was nice, track was short which doesn't match value of ticket. But kids loved it.
The place was clean. The staff was helpful and nice and it was a really great place to have my son 8th birthday. 10/10 recommend.
Absolute blast, I took my 11 year old son and we're both avid NASCAR fans. It was the best time we've ever had. Amazing staff and excellent safety protocols in place. I would definitely recommend to anyone that likes a speed thrill.
Having visited several K1 Speed locations throughout the US, I can only give this location 4 stars because of the older go-karts that they are currently using which are slower than the newer ones used at other locations like Columbus OH and Knoxville TN. The staff is knowledgeable. Track is fast.
We called the day before and we were told their employee to come at opening so we don't need to wait too long. I took my son and his 3 friends at 10 am on Saturday and it was more than 2hours and a half wait. Very displeasing and disappointing experience. We wouldn't buy the package races if we knew it's going to be such a long wait.
Karts are fun and perfectly engaging for the track... which is also great. Staff was super friendly and we got in and out quickly with our races. My biggest knock is value. It's very expensive with some one-offs for new visitors and you have to select how many races you want for best value before even giving it a go to know what it's worth. The price alone would be fine if there were more laps. My two runs averaged 5 minutes. It was ~$65 with fees for the two races... so $6 a minute? Neither race did I get
Thanks guys for making our experience so great. We arrived mid day for an arrive and drive and my two kiddos were the only ones on the track. They ran one race together and then ran one race each, separately. We didn't order the food or drinks as it was a quick stop but still so worth 5 stars just for the great attitude from the guys working pit. Thanks again.
Upon booking a group. I was given a different time than what was put on my email. Also, told her it was for kids and she put it for adults. When we arrived, the staff had no idea it was for kids which they said the cars would have to charge the cars. The staff accommodated rhe group. They said if it would've been on a weekend, it would've been a different story. I appreciate their help because the kids had a blast. This was at the Richardson location. Thanks team! I gave it 4 stars for the staff and experie
Very Rude staff, the operator was making very sarcastic remarks about everyone and everything. We went for the first time yesterday and it was very hard to enjoy the experience because of him. There was one young man that was very nice and the other staff looked annoyed with the operator like it was nothing new to them to see him act like that. We will not be going back. Don't recommend coming there.
It was great. the cars were fast as hell. It was funny to watch the kids races the cars were as fast as the adult onesm one race some kid was going mach 8 into a wall. Didn't even try to stop or turn just straight into the wall. It took a little while to get our race ready. The price is about 25 a race gets a better deal more races you buy. P.S. look out for Dakota Baum.
This was a thrill ,i felt like a big kid ! The race track is a decent size and they have enough karts for a decent size group . I do feel like it's overly priced for the amount of time you get to go around the track . They also have a pool table and a another game table as well as seating . if you choose not to race . Some of the karts go real fast and some are slow. You do have to register and sign a waiver and they did pretty good at making sure everyone was safe and knew how to drive the kart. Very cl
Editing to adjust my review?our experience was even better the next time we came back. The manager was so helpful and communicated the line up so we weren't just sitting around. I see the shift and it makes taking our girls up there to race enjoyable. OG POST Joseph was able to assist with the renewal fee we were charged even though we paid that in July and he helped with another account issue. Management clearly wants to make things right and keep their customers.
Great place and great atmosphere and fun karting. I was not satisfied by the fact that on 2 occasions our runs were cut short because others kept crashing or not following the rules. That meant that out of my 10 laps 4 were at full speed the rest were spent stoping and starting. That was not great for the amount paid.
If you love speed and being competitive, this is the place for you. Its worth every penny and second spent.
It's a nice place for you get kids and teens for go karts, quite expensive but fun place to take kids.
Having been to some of the newer K1 franchises and being spoiled with the newer karts, I can only give this location a 4 star rating. The course is alot of fun. The staff is great.
We came in on a Friday late afternoon, had minimal wait time. It was not super busy. My son did a couple of junior races to try it out for the first time. The guys there were very kind to him and explained the carts to him. Overall it was a good first time experience. The place was pretty clean, the arcades area is on the smaller side but enough to entertain in between races. We will be back.
So normally we go to Andrettis in Grandscape but decided to try K1 because it's much closer. I have to say there are alot of differences between the two but K1 really is awesome. The karts here are much faster and took more skill to run. I was definitely surprised at how much more fun I had. My son was racing juniors and he absolutely loved it. The system had a glitch and the workers went way beyond to make sure he knew how he did and even credited him another race to make up for it. That meant alot to me
We called to make sure there was no wait, and that wasn't true. We waited about an hour until our turn and the check in staff was very unprofessional... however the man teaching us about driving was very nice, welcoming and helped us out whenever we needed. Front desk people need work, but overall experience is good. This is great for a date or family fun.
Very happy with our decision to choose this Indoor GO Kart facility. My daughter & nephew(his 1st time here) had the greatest time!! Staff was very helpful & very informative while providing safety protocols before the race! We will definitely be back soon & will suggest to all of our family & friends!!!
Place is fun and racing is great. Only thing I would change is to separate those that have the experience from those that are new. One of the races I was only able to run about 2-3 good laps before someone would spin or get stuck causing everyone to slow down.
my kids had a lot of fun time. The cards were fast and they were my kid got in first place. He was very happy.
We had a great time only comment I can make is the one part of the track at the Richardson, TX location that had a large pothole in it made taking that curve challenging.
We were visiting from Los Angeles where there are also K1's. My 12 year old son and husband LOVE this place so imagine our surprise when my son Googled go kart racing and found K1. One of my favorite features about driving here is that no matter where you race in the US, your scores and rank are kept in the cloud. The race operator noticed my son's record and gave him props. Another cool thing is that we were able to drive pretty much back to back without much wait time in between races. I'm not sure if i
All the guys were great. Friendly, helpful, informative and seem to really like what they are doing. Great experience for me and my son.
The racing experience was great. The staff was very helpful in getting all the participants ready to go. The kitchen however was not capable of meeting our group of about 30? needs. Food kept coming out very slowly and it wasn't till our party was over that they began to bring enough food. Overall it was a good experience.
We had a corporate event for The 20 / Roland Technology Group. We had an absolute blast. First ran 10 or so cars. Then split up into groups of five or six and that was much more fun, we were able to open up the speed and really have better racing. Much fun here would love to come back with the family
Great experience. The gentleman at the counter was extremely nice and helpful - awesome customer service like his is rare these days. We will definitely Be back.
BUYER BEWARE WHEN BOOKING BIRTHDAY PARTIES***. I booked a birthday party for my daughter for 8 people. If you party is above the height requirement by 2-3 inches be prepared to go into secondary safety checks. I had two people in my party pass the height requirement but upon safety investigation their legs were too straight. So they wouldn't provide a refund and corporate is non responsive for refund for two people who couldn't drive. Very horrible customer service and book your go kart party elsewhere!!!
Great place to take the children. This was my children?s first experience in a go cart and they had a blast. We had to register since it was our very first time here and the process was fairly simple and quick. The best part of the visit was the way the staff was soooo patient with them giving instructions and helping them through the learning process. 10 out of 5 stars to the staff. Rose was very helpful at the counter and all the gentlemen in the pit area were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly reco
Very disappointing experience. We came for my son?s 8 year old birthday party. We looked online before booking the party to make sure what the height requirements were. All we saw was that you had to be 48?. We made sure all the parents knew that in advance in case there any kids shorter than that. All parents confirmed their kids were at least 48?. We had 9 kids there. 6 were well over 48?, 2 were just over 48? and 1 was about 49?. The 3 kids at the 48-49? mark were told that yes they were 48?+ but
me and my bf went for their lil valentines deal. it was a great deal. it wasn't busy at all so we didn't have to wait for other races to be done. and after we raced we we got to share a pizza, which was bombbbbbb. like srsly the pizza is really good
Our grandkids had an awesome time! Staff was polite and helpfull.
Once a good place for karting, not really any more. I did the Teen League for about 2 years, when I started it was genuinely really fun to compete against other drivers in large races, but around early 2024 I assume the location swapped managers and it became much worse. All karts started having worse performance, sometimes in multiple different ways, the speed at which races were carried out dragged on for seemingly no reason, and in some cases they didn't even have any officials actually watching the race
Nice place for go Karting however karts not same speed or readiness.
K1 is a really fun place to hang out. Management does a good job watching over the racers and other customers. Good treats and food are available too.
Small track. Older karts are not adjustable. Had some issues with race control. They told me I was bumping into people when it was clearly some kids bumping into me. They had me on speed 2 setting which is slow. Walked away in the middle of the race. I would avoid this place if you are looking for real karting... They did not refund my race... I contacted Customer Service twice and have not heard back from them.
Had an awesome time! Great place, track was good but it wasn't perfectly smooth.
Fast enough to have a good time as an adult. Great atmosphere & fun staff + reasonable prices & a free bday race!
It's an awesome facility! Great track, clean, fun, and fast! We went as part of a bachelor's party and everyone had an an amazing time (from the first timer to the one who races karts). The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and real. Overall an exceptional experience and would highly recommend!
Great time as always just wish all the karts are maintained better and are evenly powered. Doesn't really matter about driving skills when the cars are under powered. Makes having consistent times almost impossible.
Took my son and his cousins for a little Spring Break outing and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves! I got a special discount through the NTTA toll perks program which included one race and a annual membership for only $17, which saved me $11 apiece since the arrive and drive for one race is $22 and the membership is six dollars. The membership is worth getting as it includes a free headstock the use of their helmets for free and a five dollar race on your birthday. The staff was very friendly and helpful a
Awesome time! Hugely helpful staff, great experience. My son also loved the tenders. We'll definitely be back.
WORST EXPERIENCE! The most boring racetrack ever! The track sucks! The people suck! The track is just a couple of u turns. Waste of money!
Great place and service. The safety instructor should speak louder since he's wearing a mask. It was impossible to hear or understand what he was saying
Great time with the kids and they had a great special running for Valentine's Day!! Will go again if they have promos like that one again.
I had an amazing time at K1 Kart Racing! My friends and I had an absolute blast, and it was such a great way to kick off my birthday week. The facility is spacious and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot for some high-speed fun. A special shoutout to the staff, especially the gentleman who assisted us. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic experience. To top it all off, they surprised me with a free race as a birthday treat, which was such a th
Eva was attentive and patient explaining how it all works. Can't wait to come back!
I was rear ended by one of the racers and suffered significant whip lash. It is now three days later and I am still experiencing significant neck pain. I asked the race manager why the driver who hit me was not flagged off the course like I was told would happen in the pre- briefing and he just smiled at me and said we usually only do that if it happens more than once. So don't worry if two people are injured they might do something about it.
Very nice entertainment place for a group of adults or kids. My favorite was the race car track, me and my friends must has driving those cars about 10 times! Lots of fun.
Staff was very friendly, informative and professional. Handled our group outing great. We will be back for additional team building events
A good experience for children and adults alike. We have been twice. The gentleman that runs the races was very helpful and nice to our children.
I came to this place around 10:30pm with my boyfriend. The doors were locked and a worker came to the door and said some people "rented the place out". We were quite confused as we've never heard of people renting out places of entertainment, but they also said when they leave we could come in. We're not from Dallas, and we already drove to this location so we decided to just wait to see if they leave. Not too many other places were opened around here anymore. We waited around 40 minutes, and we saw a group
I recently planned a sorority sisterhood event at K1 Speed, and we rented out the entire venue ? it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group and ensure everything ran smoothly. The go-karts were so much fun, and the competition brought out everyone?s inner racer. The facility was clean, well-organized, and the employees were friendly, professional, and made sure we had an amazing time. I highly recommend K1 Speed for any group event ? we cou
So much fun and friendly organized staff. I would definitely visit again.
Definitely a guy place. Fun to watch grown guys and boys enjoy their adrenaline rush. Electric go carts and air-conditioning makes for a fun event.
The staff at the Richardson is so awesome! Very courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend!!
Great experience. Took the 9 year old for his first karting outing and it's all he will talk about. Employees were awesome and the facility is amazing. Food was good as well.
Was a really grate time staff was easy to talk to
Cars are not powerful they said 12 laps but I did 5 laps and it is done. They said someone completed 12 laps this is the reason it is done but I was fast and no one passed me. Don't waste your money on this place
We came on a Tuesday and had a buy 2 races get one free which is a great deal and comes to around $50 ($16 a race) + plus a 1 year membership fee of $7.95 which allows you to keep your scores and pays for a head sock which is nice. The staff are super helpful, nice and busy all the time. It was not that busy and we waited about 45 minutes in between races on a Tuesday at 5pm but then came the leagues so we had to wait around about an hour and fifteen minutes before our final race. Not bad but would have bee
We had a team retreat here and it was such a wonderful experience to bond with colleagues around racing. Our group was quite competitive so when we started racing it was all about winning. I had a great time and would happily join a K1 league. For those wondering, the karts are electric and very fast. So fast that I wouldn't recommend bumping anyone because you'll both feel it. Go race and enjoy!
Great place and super fun! The staff were extremely helpful and made sure you were riding safely; perfect for a bachelor party or any party. Definitely will be go back and will recommend.
Such a blast! Highly recommend 2 races at a time as it takes at least 1 race to get in the groove. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. The manager, Joseph, was very engaging and really seems to take pride in his work and crew. Can't wait to come again!
Expensive for one race per kid but great fun. Wish they could do more races.
I went for my first time to K1. Unless you go as a group and can only race against the members of your group I would not recommend this place. As an individual they will put you in a slower go cart and you'll spend part of the time on the course that you paid for being flagged to let the other go carts pass. I suspected the staff had reduced the power to the go cart when I would see other people braking and I never needed to. Could have been an enjoyable visit but at least I know now not to waste my time a
We caught it on a good night. We got our races in quickly. Excellent service. We will definitely be back.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
