Went early on a Tuesday and had an amazing time.. Game room is reasonable as well. We spent several hours there. Love this place and the people are always pleasant
I recently visited Jurassic Zone Mini Golf in Burleson, Texas, and had an absolute blast! The prices were very reasonable, making it an affordable outing for families or groups of friends. The course itself was incredibly well-maintained, with lush greenery and detailed dinosaur-themed decorations that added to the fun. What really impressed me, though, was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and welcoming, happy to answer questions and provide assistance when needed. They clearly took
Incredible place, really nice, and good prices, i wish you can have some food.
I brought my son here on March 16, he had a great time on the mini golf course and loved seeing all the dinosaurs. After I paid and went out on the course, Garret (the employee that checked us in) came outside to ask me if I had dropped anything. I realized I had dropped a $100 bill on the ground and he quickly noticed and brought it out to me. This is a great place to spend with family and the little ones love it. And Garret was a lifesaver by finding me and returning the cash I dropped. The employees were
Took my 7 and 4 grand boys. We had a fantastic time. The course is very nice with great carpet. The holes are interesting with the dinosaur theme and very challenging but fun. The clubhouse was clean and felt we were able to play many games for the price. Also thought the credits per game were wonderful along with fun prizes. Drove from Waxahachie but worth every mile. Best miniature course in the area
It was a cool one time go... It was kinda crazy in my opinion to be charged $3.50 per person just to enter and then $6 for one round of golf... The games went that great in my opinion but I wasn't there for me the kids did have a good time but I don't feel like I got my money worth out of it we were there on a 100? outside it was really hot by the 16th hole I think if you change a entrance fee that should come with a bottle of water...
Not a bad spot to take the family for some putt putt dino fun or some video gaming. Snacks and beverages available on site and some pretty cool dinos to be seen as well. The course is very kid friendly with mostly par 2 or par 3 holes, a great layout and fun to be had by all. Take your time and enjoy the fun. Costs aren't bad at $10/person for 18 holes of putt putt if you take you time and enjoy yourselves.
It's really small. Mini golf is fine but there's not a soda fountain and the "arcade" only has about a dozen games. Definitely worth a visit if you are close but don't drive 30 minutes for it.
I like how small it is. I was able to see my children at all times and that is a plus. It's clean. (a little zealous with the air freshener) and far less expensive than other places for a family of four to just go have a little fun. The kids really loved the dinos in the mini golf area.
We have had 5 of my son's birthday parties here. The price is better than anywhere else in town! The games are cheaper than other places, so the kiddos can play longer before running out of credits. The mini golf is well kept, has a fun theam, and the kids love it! 10 out of 10 recommend!
Had a wonderful time. Great game of put-put and the updated and new games were awesome. Great hidden gem in Burleson. Will be back soon.
Jurassic Zone Mini Golf & Arcade is an excellent place for a family outing. The layout and time it takes to play each hole is well worth the cost per player. The day of our visit was quite hot and having the indoor arcade to come in to cool off was just what our kids needed. The assortment of arcade games should have something fun for all ages.
The course is very clean and the worker are friendly and helpful. Only issue I have is the price, but it's convenient and something to do for hour or more. The arcade value card is priced well, just wish the course had some sort of special or discount at times. I probably would come back if they did I would come back. I would recommend at night some lights and sounds of ?? dinosaurs as an added special feature.
It's like $3 to get in and all the games are a nickel. We always get a cup of nickels for $5 and it last a good hour. Most of the games are redemption and you usually win a good amount of tickets. Me and my family played on 3 cups of nickels for over an hour and got 2000 tickets. The prizes could be better but they were good enough. There's also a large party room and you can bring your own food and drinks.
Awesome locally owned and family fun. Very updated and clean. The games all work and are a great value. Everything is in great working order and the lights are great. Perfectly lit at night. Pro Tip: you can redeem tickets for free mini golf so make it a goal! Fun date night. Good prices and value.
So much fun! This is our 2nd year in a row to celebrate my sons birthday. Awesome prices, awesome staff, and fun working games! My only suggestion is to paint the party room walls in dinosaurs like the main lobby! Thank You!
Loved this place it's like a small entertainment place. Not too big but my kids enjoyed it a lot. We never played golf so it was an amazing experience there and the staff was friendly
Very nice, clean, putt-putt golf.
We took our grand boys and had so much fun. The staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommmend for an entertaining good time.
I just got back in town and wanted to do something with the kids. We had so much fun!
Some of the games don't work and there is a limited selection. Many can't be reached by toddlers unless you hold them up. Does have fun games though and the golf is a good time. Your nickels will go a long way here. Most games cost 4-6 nickels. Overall it's a good deal and your child will enjoy their time there. My picture reflects 95% of the game area. Would recommend.
Super cute lil putt putt place, the staff exists but not for much. The putters were sticky, one of 3 were falling apart. The course was great, they give you a score card and pencil if you ask for it, it wasnt offered. Prices were fair. They have dinosaurs everywhere and obstacles and a waterfall feature. They have a little tiny arcade but we didnt play. They have restrooms but i did not use them. We were the only ones playing and one of the staff came out and stood near us for a short period of time which w
So we were having a good time already, but Employee and Nick made it even better when we had something low on our card can you give us a little bit more credit so we can place specific game all the employees here are very nice
Loved it!! We didn't have much to splurge on activities, we spent $40 (2 adults, 3 kids with 1 under 2) and 5 buckets of nickels! Spent an hour and a half, kids had a blast and so did we! Every game spits out tickets! This is our go-to activity place now!
Love the new update! The games all work now and my kids had a blast. You can now use your tickets to purchase a mini golf game which we took advantage of. The mini golf course was a blast and the set up was really fun.
The mini golf was great. Fantastic decorations, clean, and well kept. The holes were creative, made good use of the space, and we're surrounded by excellent water features and amazing dinos. An excellent experience all around. Highly recommend.
This place used to be awesome, $5 used to get you about 17 to 23 games with a good 500+ tickets I bought a $5 card today, and realized everything went up in cost, by roughly twice the amount I got a grand total of 8 games with $5, and barely 50 tickets won What a scam
Not busy at all. My 8 and 3 yr old loved it. Fun little game room too
This is a great place, fun for the whole family. We stop in here everytime i visit the family,a few times a year. You can have fun on a little amount of money, the kids love it.
The stuff is close together for sure, but what fun we had! I've taken my grandsons here twice, and we have had such fun!!! The price is amazing, though we usually go through two or three cups of nickels easily, but still, $20 for an afternoon of fun? Totally worth it. The miniature golf course is extra, but actually a really nice one. So, bring your family and have a blast! And we always walk out with some random extra treat from the tickets.
Fun time with the family, fair pricing, and cool decorations. Will come back again!
Hosted our team party ?? here. The kids had a blast and loved every moment. This is a nice clean quaint place to go have a little fun. Loved it and will visit again.
Mini golf was a lot of fun! The "arcade" left a lot to be desired, but the kids seemed to enjoy it.
Updated review: my family has been coming here less and less over the last couple years. They've done a lot of updating... which is nice, but they charge almost as much as competitors for games AND still charge an entry fee for everyone. I know they reply to all reviews saying "it's 'only' $3.50", but when you have a family of 5 and kids' friends, that adds up quickly. It might be time to update the entry fee thing... none of the games are a nickel anymore. It's now like everywhere else, where you get a
We had a great time at Jurassic Zone Mini Golf & Arcade. It is clean and well taken care of. Our dino-loving kids enjoyed the fun models throughout the course.
Had a blast at my grandson's b-day party! They have everything! Miniture golf, arcade games, pinball, party room, etc.
Great prices and fun for the whole family or just a date night! We will definitely be going back! The dinosaurs are awesome!!!!
Super fun! Great outing for the whole family.
Kids liked it a lot ages 3-9. Staff was nice and very patient ?? Games were fun!!
Great value for the amount of money you would spend. Good for booking birthday parties too! EDIT: 11/10/24- this place has unfortunately went downhill. Mini golf is still the same, which is good. I wouldn't call this place an arcade, as the only games they have are for ticket wins and are rather expensive. 9-13 ?credits? for each game. $10 game card lasts about 15 minutes. We will not be back.
We went for a birthday party and were asked to pay an admission fee. I let the employee know again that we were there for a birthday party but we still had to pay admission fee for myself and my 4 year old ,the birthday guest. Odd! Never had to pay for entering a birthday party.
I love supporting small businesses. However, I just think it's excessive to charge your guest $3.50 per person to be inside the facility whether you're playing or not. I brought my daughter so she can play a few video games while I watched, but I was still going to be charged for just watching. I'm happy to pay the cost of game cards and refreshments. If your business models requires you to charge for an entry fee, you might want to revisit your business model. Thankfully Chuck E. Cheese, Dave & Buster's
Great place! The video games are affordable.
We had to pay $15 to get in to MEET OUR FAMILY THERE FOR 10 MINUTES THEN LEAVE. We even told them we were just coming in WAITING on them to finish. Great customer service. Charging people a fee to walk into your building. Makes sense. Guess the kids didn't need to play games while we waited on family to finish up. We needed to use their game money to walk into a building instead.
Such a cute and fun place!!!
We have a great time every time we go. Check out Annalynne Magallon on YouTube for the full accessibility review
Great for date night or for kids 15 and under. Nickel arcade was fun and inexpensive. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest but it is a popular place for kids so that's no big surprise. The golf course is fairly maintained, though the water in the waterfall and pond area could definitely use a chlorine tab or two. Overall a fun place to play and a definite must for must young boy's birthday parties.
Mini-golf is in pretty good shape overall, lots of ticket games for the younger ones trying to hit the jackpot. Good value for the cost.
It was so fun.... not crowded.... people working are so sweet...
It was rainy so we didn't golf. Played around in the arcade. Only one game was out of order. Everything was clean. TONS of customers! We had a lot of fun! Lots of bin toys to choose from, big prizes were mostly inflatable. I'd love to see more Dino-themed prizes or some branded merchandise. Will be back to golf this amazing looking course on a dry day.
Unfortunately, this is the only mini golf in the area, it has a nice course, but the games are a rip off. Multiple of the claw machines don't work as they should, when the clog goes down to pick an item up, it doesn't close until it's halfway back up so that lets you know that it is rigged as well. They can have the younger employees have less attitude
Affordable fun, just a tad small and no matter when we go there are always a few machines that are out of order. The service we receive is good in general, especially when there are actual adults running the counter. We celebrated my daughters 8th birthday here and the kids had a blast! it was one of the very few venues where you could host a birthday party for 15 kids and spend less than $200 total. Gotta love that!
This is a quirky, fun, family friendly and affordable mini golf place. Our three year-old is obsessed with Jurassic Park right now so it was a smash hit
Great Fun! Even though it is outside there are enough trees for some shade. The course is easy enough for young kids and hard enough for adults to get some bogeys.
Hard to rate this place. My 3 and 5 year old grandkids love it. Although they don't understand the value of a dollar yet. I've always been charged for them and told only under 3 is free. That may have changed from these other posts that say under 5 is free. All in all Chucky Cheese is much more a value for what you get. Your owner/management customer service skills absolutely suck. Everyone that has a poor opinion is retaliated against as you make them feel as it's their fault and stupidity they had a poor
Great place for family fun. The staff here is super friendly and helpful and my family really enjoys having outings here!
Nothing against the employees but I recently celebrated my child's birthday and I usually play the games and then give my tickets to the birthday child because it's all about the birthday kid. But I do believe the cards and games have a glitch reason being I was playing the stacking game had to swipe two times to get one play but the system subtracted the credits for both plays anyways. I also hit scratches acorns 4 times reward is 500 credits but when I checked my balance on my card to get my child his pri
We have been going here ever since buffalo nickels and we love the new updates! It's a very kid friendly place where u can have fun! It kinda sucks that they are closed on mondays but still it is a fun to go on a summer day, weekends, and even rainy days! I love this place so much! Thanks u for reading my review! :)
Just had my daughter's birthday party here! The staff was fantastic and it was very affordable! Highly recommend!
Great place for younger kids. Our kids (oldest is 8yo) love it. Yes, it's a smaller arcade/mini golf, but we appreciate how we can watch our kids without letting them out of sight. The entrance fees are minimal... still a very economical outing because the games are cheap (nickel) to play.
This place has been so run down over the years. I still love it because it is local and it is cheap but they have youngsters in there who do not keep up maintenance or basic care. While we were there with my baby great nephew five or six the machines were down and the floors were just sticky. The golf cart is still halfway decent and it was fun and it's a great setup with tons of potential. I still give it five stores because it's something close to home that you can take smaller kids to that doesn't cost a
My kids absolutely love this place. It is a bit old and dated and can get very hot when its crowded and busy. A lot of the machines need proper maintenance and tend to "eat" your money and not dispense tickets. The prices for items are a bit outrageous. You can select a 25-50 cent oriental trading wholesale item for 200-300 tickets. Any item worth a second glance costs upwards in the thousands range of tickets. Regardless of the cons, my children still love the place and it is a great place to go have fun.
The arcade is almost shoulder to shoulder and if you putt while they are busy you have ppl right on your tail, it's a small place, so when it gets crowded, it gets hot. Other than that it is fun and affordable! We will be back but maybe try for the days/hours it's not so crowded. It's $3.50 for admission, $6.00 to putt-putt, and 1 cup of nickles to play at the arcade is $5.00.
I want to take a moment to address one of the earlier reviews that seemed to attack this business...I completely understand if you were unhappy, but I also know that you can voice your opinion without getting personal... I know the owners and the employees as I work next door, they work hard and to say such terrible things as "they will only get to Heaven" remark is completely uncalled for. You say your grandkids loved it but they don't know the value of dollar yet....I get that..times are tough for so man
Fun and cheap but small not many options for arcade games and prizes, mini golf course is also pretty small. But overall fun and good value. Great for kids 5-8.
This place is over priced and the management is poor. I threw my children a joint party this past weekend to much dismay. It was hot as hades in the facility. I was running late by a few minutes there was no compensation to my 2 hrs of time for sitting I paid 120 dollars for because apparently you have to pay to sit down at this place. I was advised incorrectly by staff members that the party pricing was inclusive of nickels for children because never would I have ever paid. 120 dollars for 24 people to sit
Cheap and the kids always have a good time. The staff are mostly young high schoolers but they are always friendly. The golf is challenging without being too hard for kids to complete. Smells a bit from all the sweaty kids running around but overall a good place for the kids. They have coin games for those of us who like to gamble a bit.
It's a pretty good mini golf place. My kids really enjoyed it, especially with all the dinosaurs decorating the place. It's pretty small, acreage-wise, but it flows well. We didn't try out the arcade inside, which seemed pretty popular, yet crowded. There was at least one birthday party going on, which made it a little crazy with kids everywhere, but it was a Saturday, and it seems to come with the territory. All in all, we'd visit again.
Hosted a birthday party here and it was THE BEST for our 5 year old. He and his friends loved it so much they're all following suit and having their parties here too! So much fun and the games are easy enough for little ones to play too! They love getting so many tickets and changing them out at the end for a prize.
Took my son here for his first ever mini golf experiance. He loved it. Wish they had more games in the arcade that were strictly for fun and not so many to earn tickets.
One of the Biggest rip offs in Burleson. $15 for 2 adults and 2 children just to walk in and $10 for 2 game cards. The kids were even asking "that's it"? The games were over in no time. This is definitely just a business, and a business only. Consider that before going. I have given a lot of 5 star reviews to the establishments that are deserving. Jurassic zone gets 1 star because that's the lowest on the scale unfortunately.
Great place for the whole family although little kids (under 4) might not enjoy it as much. The mini golf course is 18 holes with many types of challenges. Inside there are all sorts of nickle arcade games. The games typically cost 4-6 nickles. Most give tickets that can be exchanged for small prizes.
Jurassic Zone is a great place to host a child's birthday party, or to visit for a round of miniature golf and games. The miniature golf course is well maintained, with a quality supply of dinosaur replicas, and includes some good landscaping - a nice course and fun to play! Inside is a spacious party area that can support several parties. The party area is a large shared space. I did not see any private party rooms, but the birthday parties I've attended there were wonderful. The arrangement works well.
Little crowded and unruly when we first arrived but it calmed down after a bit. The kids had a blast spending their nickels and I liked the price tag! :) most of the games were in good working order and they did have staff that would come out and look at something if it wasn't working right. Little small but good way to let the kiddos play on a rainy day.
This is a great place to go with a group of friends! The games are fun and minigolf is engaging. It's a lot smaller than Dave and Busters or Alley Cats but that can be a good thing if you are trying to avoid crowds during the pandemic.
VERY impressed by the remodel!! Love the dinosaur theme, and the mini golf course feels brand new. There are a ton of new arcade games, but it's still a nickel arcade. They have a ticket counting machine now, too, to speed up the prizes. Super clean! We had a wonderful time!
Tons of new games added since it was Buffalo Nickel, same price though, which is nice. A few of the games need some maintenance, and with as hot as it is outside during the summer, it gets kinda toasty inside as well with all the games' cooling fans blowing their hot air into the building, but its tolerable. Definitely will be back.
A rip off. Hasn't been here for years but decided to give it another try since they've updated the golf course theme. Course is decent and the inside seems a lot nicer than it was last time we came, but the place is a total rip off (we used to call it the Buffalo Nickel-and-dime) because you have to pay a cover charge just to go in PLUS the cost of whatever you want to do. I'd much prefer they increase their prices and do away with the cover charge.
Had a lot of fun. There was an unexpected charge for an admission fee but seeing the games were only a nickle, it wasn't that bad. For $20, I got 4 admissions and 2 cups filled with nickles worth five dollars each, but one of my kids is free admission for 5 n under.
Been here several times with my kids....they love going!!!! This particular time we were told it would cost 13$ just to enter... was also told they have always charged a door fee. Not one time have I ever been charged to get in the door. Just found this odd and we took them somewhere else and probably won't return!! It's not the issue of the 13$, however the rude reply I received when I asked about it!!!! Great place for the kids and very cheap entertainment.... but could definately work on Customer Service
Fun mini golf course! I love the them of the area and decoration. Courses were pretty interesting as well and some felt unique. Loved the use of water in some of these courses and then ending is spectacular if you can get a hole in one. Came with a friend and I had a good time. Arcade area was compact but plenty of games. Mostly ticket prize games but it was missing skeeball!
Family fun on a budget. I've been here for birthday parties and just to get the kids out of the house. The games run on nickels, what could be better? Just keep in mind that the price is a point that draws in crowds on the weekend. With that in mind, the ticket counters will be over worked and there WILL BE A LINE to count your winnings. Other than that, the course is fun for families.
Very fun place, especially if you want an outing with the kids. Their games take only nickles and give tickets for prizes. There is a $3 entrance fee and the first round of golf is $3 per person. The course is very fun and creatively designed.
Had a great time celebrating our son's bday party. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Pricing was fantastic and the golf course was well kept. Very pleased overall with the whole experience!
Total Rip Off!! This place charges a Admission Fee of $3.00! What do they think they are a night club? That's $15.00 for 5 people just to walk in the door. Then I'm dealing with teenager's thinking everything if funny? $6.00 a person so $45.00 later. Then they don't pay attention to how many people they cram into the course so you're being rushed to play! They should at least pause a 2 hole entry before they allow a patron to start a new game. No revisit for this out of towner.
This is the best place to have a childs birthday party at on a budget. They allow you to bring your own food and drinks which my mother went all out with a cooked brisket and rice and beans dinner. The games give out a very generous amount of tickets ( unlike chuck e cheese and Peter Piper pizza ). Even the adults in our party had a blast here. It is a somewhat low key place, therefore less congested than other family fun places.
Me and my grandson absolutely love this place. We've been going since he was about 3 years old he will be 10 on his next birthday. He still gets excited when I tell him where we are going. I've been going so long that there is no way I would put a $1.50 in a game when I can put .30 in the same game there. We give it 5 stars!!!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
