I came here mostly to hangout. Turned out to be a pretty sick dive bar. Lots of arcade games options out here. Definitely played lots of games. You can exchange dollar bills for quarter coins and play arcade games. Pretty cool spot to hangout during late evenings. The cocktail options are limited but good. Didn't really try out any Pizza or food. But ambience is really something worth checking out!

By far one of my favorite bars in Seattle. They have amazing slushee drinks, delicious pizza, karaoke on certain nights, loads of games, and amazing service. I have been here a couple times and it's always a great time. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun night or a relaxed environment.

Love this place! Always great service. Never no attitude or the feeling like you're unwelcome. Decent priced drinks.about $8-$10per drink & frozen margaritas!-$10???? Food is a little over prices but convenient if you're hungry. Booths by the bar have domino sets. back room is an arcade filled with new & older games. Pac man, pin ball, mario cart, a few shooting games & a few more. Front Patio. No smoking in the patio but it's never been a problem if you do. Recommend the frozen drinks. They let you mix the

I really want to give Jupiter 5 stars! The pizza was amazing, and the pepperoni on them was perfection. There is a good selection of tasty beers, and pinball is always a blast. However, the cocktails are not great. They are extremely sweet and generally poorly balanced. If you want good pizza and beer with a side of pinball, though, I recommend this place any day.

This retro style arcade bar was fantastic during our business trip. It was open late in the perfect place to unwind and play some games. The drinks were awesome and the bartenders were friendly.

I'm sad the taco place isn't there. The pizzas were very tiny and 14$+ a pop. They should make larger than personal pizzas for that much money. The pizza is still good though. The pinball is great and all the machines we played were fully functional and played very well

The bartenders are slow and don't seem to care about moving the line. Prices are competitive with other Belltown establishments, which means they are generally overpriced. The ambiance is oppressive. The pinball machines are well maintained but set to max speed. It's hard to leave this place in a good mood. Would recommend coming here for about an hour before going down the road to Shorty's.

Great bar/resturant with lots of retro videogames and pinball machines like Galaga, Donkey Kong, Ms Pac Man, etc. There is no cover to enter and the games that I played cost 50 cents per play. A great place to have a drink and play some retro videogames from your childhood.

Absolutely visit this spot if you come to Seattle. It's a crazy living art show and there's a lot of really fun events such as karaoke, DJs, pinball tournaments, live music and art openings. It's also a 21+ arcade. It's one of the very few places in Seattle that is home to the art and nightlife community.

A great place for some late night entertainment! Didn't eat any food here but drink service was quick. Apart from the pinball machines, there aren't too many classic games. Spent most of the time playing Ms Pacman on the tabletop which was a lot of fun. The physical pong table is really cool, but expensive at $1 since the games are very short.

Such a fun bar in belltown! On entry you'll find one of two bars that is great to just a drink at. Behind that bar is an arcade! With multiple pinball, racing, and quirky games! Great place for a date if you are looking for something fun and inexpensive.

Pretty fire pizzas, cool arcade vibes, but there were some absolute creatures running pinball. This is probably the most Seattle place I could visit from the east coast, beanies galore. Heavy pours on the drinks are wonderful with great service. But I want to emphasize the creatures that dwell here can be scary, but don't worry it's all about the vibe. Overall cool place I f widdit

Good scene. Whether a small group or a party always something to do because of multiple spaces, and an extra bar in back for the weekends sometimes or when needed. Plus there is the entertainment a plethora of all sorts of pinball and arcade machines and on select nights awesome karaoke in the Xorbos lounge near the front! Pizza too.

Great music, friendly staff and quick service! Never waited more than 5 minutes for a drink and the bartender did several laps around the bar trying to find keys to the vending machine when my vape got stuck in the chutes. Great pours too, 2 drinks and I was good to go. Dj also happily shared whatever album they were playing, all in all 10/10 will be coming back next time I'm in Seattle

Very cool bar with good selection of beers. I was pleasantly surprised with their food. I ordered vegan and vegetarian taco and chips and pica.. Their tacos are deep fried and delicious in taste. Keep your ids ready to enter the place..the graffiti and the paintings on the wall were also great and appealing

Moody and exciting atmosphere, that scales nicely with crowds. One of the must-visit places in Belltown. A very "neon noir" blend of urban arcade into a funky cocktail bar. Pinball machines lined up in neon rows with small tray tables between?your drinks go here. They did a great job selecting these machines, expect local references like the Foo Fighters game. Try the Killer Queen game in the back. Up to ten of your friends + strangers. It's fun, and easy to learn. Pinball games are 75? each. Try the pink

Came down from BC for a vacation, this place was recommended by the elevator operator at Smith Tower. Gotta say, props to that guy, Jupiter was awesome. The drinks were LARGE. I ordered the rotating cider and the bartender filled my glass full. Like, I don't mean "leave a finger or two of space", nah bro put er right to the top. Cheers my dude! And the pizza. The pizza literally gave me flavour nostalgia. Like the exact taste of a really amazing pizza I once had years ago back home in BC but I can't remem

Nice games! Pinballs Arcades Mario Kart Vibes are retro and ambience is strong good

This place was so fun. There is a bar in the front and games in the back. We were there for the pinball and a few drinks. Lots of classic pinball arcade games that take quarters. Really fun place!

Jupiter is an experience. Part functional gallery, pinball bar, venue, and recently adding Karaoke, it offers a little bit of something for a lot of different people, surrounded by gorgeous art on the walls which provides a rich atmosphere and immaculate vibes. The bartenders are great, even if it can get pretty packed at times. Pinballs tournaments Tuesdays and Thursdays run by a great MC, Karaoke has been added in the newly opened side room, also on Thursdays. Come get toasty, drink, get some of the best

Friendly staff, cute space with fun arcade games. Only thing that was "bad" was it was extremely loud. Felt like I was at a concert lol. Would definitely come again if in the area. Make sure to bring quarters for the games!

I love Jupiter bar. Great selection of games - pinball, racing (Mario kart), shooting, etc. Free entry, food and drinks for sale. Games are a couple quarters each at most

This was my 2nd time in. I love this place! I caught the end of happy hour, enjoyed a Narrows Brewery Porter (Half shackle?), and soaked in the ambiance and good vibes. The food looks good, too ?? haven't tried it yet though lol, next time

Really good bar and they have two bars one on the side and one of the back. They also have a pizza parlor inside. Really good to go check out food. And a lot of vintage arcade games.

Excellent Belltown bar. Plenty of space, good bartender ratio, and clean-ish bathrooms. But the taco bar! Awesome! Not even by drunk food standards, her tacos are crispy and excellent. Careful there are toothpicks that hold them all together. There are 15 signs that tell you so. Excellent to down with cold beer.

Totally enjoyed my visit to Jupiter. Visited the place with friends and we spent 2 hours just playing pac man and trying to beat the highest scores on different pinball machines. Loved individual themes of each pinball machine. Decent beer and food. Pet friendly. Good music and really vibrant atmosphere.

Ben, our bartender was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. This is a Bar-Cade with a great dive bar feel. The accoautics were great at 5.30pm. I heard it gets a little loud (fun) as the night goes on.

Fun bar. Love the vibes. Love the arcade. Ping town punch ???? - slightly too sweet but honestly it works

Incredible Belltown bar in Seattle! Awesome place! Bartenders are friendly and nice. Been coming here since moving to Seattle and I love the atmosphere. If you haven't been I would recommend you check it out and definitely play some arcade games!

Such a fun bar! Very lively. Great drinks. Great employees. Absolutely loved it. Most people were actually very respectful of the games and such, so that was awesome to see !

Jupiter Bar was so much fun! We were from out of town and wanted somewhere fun to hangout, good atmosphere, games, and drinks. They had lots of options for games- TONS of pinball machines, Mario Kart driving, and other variety of arcade games. It was kinda packed when we went, but overall were able to play games as we pleased. The place has limited places to sit, but in the same area there was a side space with tables and chairs with someone playing music which was cool. We only got one mixed drink, no foo

This place is amazing. It has it all. Live music, food drinks, arcade cabinets and of course pinball. 4 rows of pinball at that. It has a great selection of tables from vintage retro tables like hard bodies to some of the newer stuff. Plus Adam's family pinball. As well they have brand new arcade games from. Indy developers. This place stands out in the scene for sure. If your into pinball or arcade bars it's an absolute must. Take the trip and you wont regret it

A dive-ish Seattle bar with games, booze, and food- what more can you ask for? I enjoyed the drinks (strong, but balanced), the bar decor, and as a pinball aficionado, I 100% loved the back area where they had rows of pinball machines and retro arcade games.

This a great place to stop by, play some games, have some drinks, and get some tasty food! Drinks are Seattle prices for sure, but the cheap price of the games evens that out completely! The interactions we had with staff were ok, but I would go back again in a heartbeat!

Being an Italian from the northeast, my partner and I have spent the last 2.5 yrs in Seattle looking for great pizza. I have found some pizzerias with good pizza, but Jupiter is, shockingly, in the upper echelon of Seattle pizza . The dough is perfect, creating a light and fluffy crust while the undercarriage is nice and crisp, the sauce has the perfect amount of tang and the cheese hits just right. My only gripe with them is that the pizzas are the size of a paper plate, smaller than most personal pizzas.

By far one of my favorite downtown hangs!

Duhhh! Hands down coolest bar in Belltown. Arcade games galore. Cokd Rainier beers. Beautiful art covering the inside walls. My favorite stop after midnight. Dont worry, they have ample change machines for getting loads of quarters. Try the Rainier Beer games near the back bar. So hard to get to even level 4!!! Good times!!!!

Good selection of drinks. A must visit for pinball enthusiasts! They have plenty of machines that dispense quarters. Average cost of game is 75c.

Really fun pin ball arcade with a bar and food. They have a mix of new games and old. Bring lots of quarters.

Awesome bar and games room?if you love pinball and video games this is the place for you! The machines are extremely well maintained and the beer selection is good. Friendly staff and patrons, highly recommended:)

This is a fun spot for drinks and games. They have two bars, a kitchen, in and outdoor seating and ALL kinds of pinball and old school arcade games. The drinks were great! The atmosphere is super chill with funky murals on the walls and a cool graffiti style bathroom. They have an ATM and quarter machines on site for your gaming pleasure. These guys have you covered!

Good one for quick outing. They have retro style games there which operates with coins, loved those.

Good selection of old and new Pinball machines. I haven't tried the food or drinks yet.

For all arcade lovers, Jupiter is an excellent place with an incredible variety of machines to play from the newest to the oldest, a Super retro atmosphere and drinks to hang out with friends, it is a rather nerdy place but at the same time it is It becomes very cool when you spend some time and have fun with the video games that there are super recommended located in the best areas of Downtown Seattle is a great place super recommended please bring change bills or coins since the machines use that

Great pizza especially. Wish they had PBR on tap, but that's on me to like PBR. ??

Was there Celebrating my bonus daughter's 21st Birthday! Loved the vibe and the old school pinball machines.

We were there for my cousin's Celebration of Life, along with Shorty's. He loved it there and I can see why. I highly recommend it.

So much fun to hang out with good beer and fun arcades.

I do not recommend this place. The service was absolutely terrible. I am sober right now and I received the dirtiest looks from the bartender for ordering a Diet Coke. Then when my partner went to get me another, they refused to serve us. I would never return to this place again. Plus, their pizza is lame for the price. There's plenty of better options in the area, trust me.

Great low key dive bar-Esque pinball joint with good beer, cocktails and tunes

I've come here for drinks and games constantly and the it's the best! My most recent visit involved food which I had low expectations since it's ?bar food.? It was great, surprisingly! Jupiter has a great selection of beers and ciders as well.

Cocktails $12-14, most games 50 cents. Nice staff, clean bar

Very cool place, very good food! If you're not in the mood for a loud part, this isn't your place. Very good slushy drinks

PINBALL!! Great spot for a night out to play pinball or SE classic arcade. Jupiter's staff are super nice and are really good at serving everyone. I don't feel like I have ever waited to place an order. They are also pretty kind about drink glasses breaking

The pinball and game selection were top notch. Great time overall.

Visited this place a couple of times during our stay. Love the atmosphere and the pinball machines. We went during the week and on the weekend. Weekend was definitely more packed, but still enough space to get some games in.

Super fun bar with pinball and arcade machines. If you have enough people or find a group, try your hand at Killer Queen team arcade game! The bartender pours heavier on the liquor and uses slightly nicer bottles for cocktails.

Eclectic mix of music and games (mostly pinball) - beers run about $8 and cocktails are pretty average - but they have a full bar.

This a cool arcade place, drink are good but not actually any food.

Wow! Best pinball arcade bar in Belltown. Our bartender Todd was so nice! He went above and beyond helping us pick a silly shot. We wanted something special and he made us the best butt-nipple shot. 10/10 for Todd. The Goodshape pizza was choice. The bar had a tag in it though..

The music here is so amazing. I'm not a huge arcade games fan but I had a blast with the friend I went with. Steep drink prices in my opinion, but still good spot.

Stopped in after a mariners game and found this place to be an excellent place for late night pizza and laid back drinks and games. Retro games and more modern arcade games are present and the live DJ added to the vibe. The pizza here is also quite good, a bit pricy for bar food, but the folks that work up there were super nice and accommodated a few dietary requests with a smile.

Great experience. One of the better arcade bars, with a surprising amount of space without seeming too open floor. The food quality was good, though the weird "don't eat the toothpicks" thing is... odd. I'd say stick with the nachos rather than the tacos. Though their coleslaw is made with a balsamic vinaigrette, which is unique for bar food. The fresh salsa is fantastic. All in all, come for the games, stay for the games, and might as well enjoy some food too. And, of course drinks. Can't comment on thei

Yes, they have pinball here, but the FOOD! This place has freaking delicious food, try the soup, but also games. Unlike much of nearby Sesttle, it's open late and delicious. Stop by, you will enjoy yourself.

Went with a coworker after work, 10/10 bar service and good pinball machines

Really cool venue with a ton of pinball machines! The staff were really nice and the general vibes were great. Unfortunately, the music was just unreasonably loud. Jupiter was possibly the loudest bar I've ever been to, and I'm no spring chicken. Blasting it so hard seemed like a bit of an odd choice for an arcade bar, I wouldn't think you'd want the turnover. I know our group left pretty quickly. I hope the staff are allowed to wear earplugs.

Fun vibes. Pinball & arcade games out the back. Great drinks and food up front. Highly recommend.

The coolest pinball place we've been to in Seattle. Awesome vibes and the best nachos in town. It's in a "sketchy" part of town but high quality, good people inside Jupiter Bar. We can't wait to return.

An old cinema converted into a pinball arcade and bar. Something you shouldn't miss while in Seattle!

Insanely fun pinball!!! You will not be disappointed (unless you decide to buy food- the price is VERY disappointing for the food, but it's a bar, so what do you expect?) I absolutely loved the variety of pinball machines here, and there's amazing unique art all over the walls drawn by local artists. I'll be coming back here again and again- staff are very friendly and so are all the patrons. There's also arcade games if you run out of energy for pinball. If you're thinking about coming here, absolutely do!

Come to the pinball tournament every Wednesday - you give Dwayne $5 and you keep playing until you lose three games. My coworkers know how well I did without even asking based on how hungover I am on Thursday morning. You can win baseball cards on the baseball game.

Lots of cool vintage pinball machines, grungy vibe, good tacos and fun drinks!

Tons of pinball machines to play. The bottle drinks are kind of cool... and delicious.

Loved this place. Dark and moody with good music, probably more than 30 people machines plus other arcade games too. Very fun.

Good selection of pinball machines, friendly staff, great atmosphere. I can see myself becoming a regular here.

good selection of pinball + a small amount of other games! they have an ATM and coin exchange on site. games run about 1$ each so a bit pricy. drinks are a little weak and expensive. overall a fun time just on the pricier side.

After getting kicked out of Gameworks for getting to close to Sean?s man buns. My friends and I came straight to your wonderful bar and proceeded to get ripped to all hell. Great place can't wait to come back next year

Fun place to go to, have some drinks and play some good old fashioned games! The selection is great and the staff was super nice. Would definitely recommend this spot to others!

We had a great experience at the Jupiter. We ordered pizza from up front, that was delicious, and order drinks from both bars. All the staff were welcoming and offered great drink ideas when we didn't know what we wanted.

Good drink selection, pinball selection and pac man. Lots of art.

I am hesitant to call this a dive bar. But it is dark, cheap, and pretty damn great. Lots of pinball games. Wide selection of newer and older games. Friendly staff. Check it out!

My friend and I visited for some drinks and pinball gaming. Overall, our experience was great with lots of fun gaming and drinking. The pinball machines are not too expensive and makes for a fun night. The bar is also quite lively. Only complaint we had was with a bartender in the rear bar who was short and rude to us when we went to open a tab. Other than that, very fun place.

Cool punk-esk arcade bar with slight space theme. It also features a taco/nacho place inside. Bar staff are sociable and pretty attentive to those sat at the bar. Drinks are good and moderately priced. Lastly, I definitely recommend the nachos.

Changing my vindictive review, having been here a few dozens times now, it's a good place. They have several dozen pinball machines, and standard prices. $8 beer and 75 cent pinball. Seating could be a bit better, they have two very interesting micro booths, besides that nowhere I really want to sit. As it is I almost always stay standing to play pinball the whole time, so not really a place to relax. But that's fine if you are trying it primarily as an arcade. The only real negative is for some reason

Surprisingly tasty food, and their unique and delicious adult slushies were exactly what we needed after a concert at the Moore. We were very impressed. It's also close enough to other bars that the young folk will cruise through and provide entertaining people watching. The arcade in the back room was a complete surprise and when we decide to go out specifically to bar hop, we're definitely coming back here!

This spacious bar has a fun vibe with a bar and kitchen in the front and a bar in the back with plenty of arcade games and pinball machines. They also have a patio in the back and seating in front of the bar on the sidewalk. The food was disappointing and pricey (they stop serving at 11:30 pm). I had crispy potato tacos (all tacos are deep fried with corn tortillas and very crispy which was awesome and $4 each) and chips and guacamole ($14). The food was mediocre and lacking seasoning. The potato tacos had

Nice place to drink and play pinball. Patio and indoor seating, tacos and nachos are available, the pint cans of Rainier are $4 at the time of this review, which to me makes it reasonably affordable. Haven't tried the nachos yet but a friend insists they're dang good. I mostly go for the pinball, lots of good machines, like Medieval Madness and Black Knight 2000 as just a couple examples. I'd estimate they have 25-30 machines, something is always open. Did my first pinball tournament here, which was fun.

Great for pinball. One of the larger selections of pinball compared to other bars. They have about 7 older style pins with about 21 more current pins. They had two Killer Queen games with some other fun arcade games available. DDR would be a great addition to this place. What's nice is Shorty's is just down the block if you are looking for more pin to play. Bouncer could be friendlier, but the bartender we had was really pleasant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
