Customer Reviews

The park is a pretty good time. I can only speak to the arcade and mini golf areas. It's a pretty affordable place for a date night. The only reason I couldn't give the place five stars because the mini golf nature area needs some landscaping love. The arcade has updated games were nice but they do cost around $1.75 a game. It's a nice little gem.

It's better than not having a water park but lacks in some areas. The kiddie section is really small and not much to do for the cost.... but still my 2 year old grandson had a BLAST and 2 and under is free, so there's that.

The kids had a great time. The area in Where the food is served, was really hot. The fans were off. Staff members continued to make sure the water park was clean. The lines were not that long for the rides.

It was a great experience. The slides were thrilling and fun. We did not do any activities except for the water park. They had a wave pool, a lazy river, and a kids area. The wave pool is on around every thirty minutes and was not too crowded, likely because we went in the afternoon on a weekday. The food is average, what you'd expect at a water park.

Had THE BEST time with grown-up kids (29 to 35) and grandkids (2 to 6). There were safe pool activities for the little ones and a variety of fun waterslides for the adults and kids, plus a relaxing lazy river to enjoy. We were there for 6 hours on a weekday, and it was surprisingly not too crowded. The food was also tasty. We did not do any dry activities. A little pricey, but worth it to me.

Me and my family had a wonderful time today! I wanted to give a big 5 star review to the team operating the go karts this afternoon. They were so helpful and nice and helped accommodate the steering wheel for my toddler. We had an awesome time karting! Thank you!

Came for the go carts and mini golf. Go carts were fun. Mini golf is always a great time. They also offer an arcade and food. A rock wall. The waterpark is not open yet.

Just had an amazing day here. Fun water sides, lazy river was good, good wave pool. Pizza could be better but it worked. Life guards were friendly and attentive.

we're traveling and wanted to take our family to a water park. we found this one close to our airbnb. it was a great time. fun for all ages and wasn't overwhelmingly big either. we only did the water park, but theres so much to do there. wish we had something similar near us. its a tad pricey, but everyone was friendly and it was a great time.

I honestly hate this place. Sorry it's the truth. The birthday room has no air conditioning whatsoever just a ridiculous fan that's not enough and when there's a private party they still admit everyone else in the play area. I wonder if all those plastic balls get washed. The games at the Arcade are always messed up and take they money from your card because you have to swipe twice and if you notice then you have to complain so they recharge your card back again. Why do I even bother to go to this place? Be

Our day was perfect for my husband and myself and 3 grandchildren, ages 9 to 12. The wave pool, slides, lazy river, cabana, frozen drinks, snacks, and go carts and games made the entire day fun and memorable for our kids.

This place is just awesome. My family and I first discovered it 2 years ago and we visit Wilmington a LOT. I can't believe we missed this for so long. The water park is awesome. We picked up season passes this year! Definitely worth multiple visits throughout the summer ??????

Usually come here for the arcade and most of the machines are fun but of course rigged. Rode on the go carts one time and that was fun but then found out water park is 60$ for entry and that is way too expensive you don't really get what you pay for and it's not even worth the money. it's sucky and bad but everything else was good.

My fiance and I had a wonderful time. They have an arcade a children's place clean restrooms and a beautiful mini golf course. They also have go karts and water slides (seasonal ). If you've never been. Check it out. Highly recommend.

The Park is great. The kids section is amazing. The water park is great. But the arcade is seriously missing the mark. You guys have it full of big flashy games that all are really trash. Retro arcade games are way better. They take up less space. More people can play and they give you more bang for your buck. Make Arcades great again. Trash the flashy shooters. Put in street fighter, pac man, the good stuff. You have that little section in the back you could make it the retro corner.

Mother?s Day weekend rained down here the whole time. Online website said they opened at 10:00. We showed up at 10:30 (drove 26 minutes). When we got there cars were waiting outside and so were employees bc there was no manager to open. The employees waiting outside said they opened at 11:00 and we decided to wait, only for the manager to then show up 5 min past 11 to open the doors BUT then come to find out they actually weren't opening the place until 12:00 noon. No signs no updated website. Other people

We had such and fun time here. They have lots of activities to choose from. We did Go-carts, bumper cars, mini golf, and laser tag. They also have arcades, a full Waterpark, and more. My kids loved shooting me up in laser tag. It was so much fun and I got plenty of exercise. There is also a kids jungle area where you can watch as your children run and play. We spent a lot of time in this area. It was parent rest time. :) We ate pizza, nuggets, and nachos at the food bar. It was a fun time for all.

One thing that we don't like is the mini golf course because there is no exit in between. You have to go thru the end of the course just to get out if you don't want to play anymore. Some people thought we are bypassing them even though we have politely asked that we are leaving and just passing thru. I highly suggest that there should be an exit in between for people who wants to leave the course without interrupting those people who are so serious about the golf course.

Top tier experience. Clean and kid friendly. Very attentive life guards I lost my som and they were so very urgent and understanding.

Good place for the kids but to be honest I was not impressed. Thought it was a little over priced. $10 per activity per person stop for a family of 4 to play mini golf and ride the go carts, just once, and the kids to play in the jungle area was almost $100. The facilities was clean staff was friendly and helpful mini golf was somewhat challenging. The games are $1 to$2 a play so $20 on a card doesn't last 15 minutes. Water park might be worth the money but it was not open during our visit. The kids had

Summer Fun, It's that time of year again. As usual plenty of things to do sick as arcades, water parks, go cats, food, beverages and plenty more. I definitely recommend it as we have gone every summer for the past 4 years. It's hot so go and cool off.

This is a good place to take the family for a day of fun we got the all in package which allowed us to go to the water park, get lunch, and we played putt putt and rode the go karts. Good time for the price and the area.

Nice mini golf course here! We went in the evening and finished up just before closing time. We had so much fun! The course is clean and well kept and wasn't crowded when we were there either. The staff person was friendly and helpful. Loved the hole with the water feature!

Cant even explain how good our experience was as today 07/18/2020 even with COVID thing. Stuff was amazing. Drove 4 hours to get here. Way worth it. Too much fun. Cant wait till all the arcades and slides open up.

Our first trip this year. We usually visit the water park every year and and we all love it. We played putt putt for the first time. It was about 9pm so it wasn't hot and it was a beautiful course! My 15 yr old twin boys told me that I was not going to provide a challenge for them so they weren't feeling like they would be worried about my game. I played the best game of my life leaving them in disbelief. It was beautiful!! Point ?? parents!! I even had two holes that the ball popped out on first strike! Fi

It's a great place for Kids. The only downside was that there was a thunderstorm and we couldn't keep enjoying it. The policy is that if there is a thunderstorm they need to suspend all activities and wait for an hour and if it is not safe to resume activities they'll give you a raincheck for another day to come back.

Monday and Tuesday is truly the best day to enjoy the water park. If you show up early and are feeling tired just hop on the side-winder half pipe slide for a quick pick-me-up!

My first visit to Jungle Rapids Fun Park and I was not impressed! On the contrary, it was very disappointing. Although we arrived after 7pm and the water park was closed, I was quite surprised to see some of the amusements inoperable/not in use or even staffed. These were main amusements (see photos) that make the visit and time spent at Jungle Rapids worth while. Without access to these amusements?. Boring! The water park wasn't as big as I thought and definitely looked more inviting and exciting from

Fun little spot even during the off season. The staff really took care of my kiddo during the rock wall so they earned five stars. Keep up the good work folks.

I took my son to celebrate his birthday.. we had a total blast.. love this water park!! ????????

Very fun place to hang out with your kids. Lots of games, a rock wall and go karts. There is a nice putt putt golf area as well Nice size rooms for birthday parties though I would be very pro active on where you let your kids climb on on area of the jungle gym. The water park isn't open until May but I'm sure I will have lots of fun when I go.

We only played golf on this visit. It was fun. The course has 18 holes that vary of easy and challenging. The course is NOT WHEELCHAIR OR APPROPRIATE FOR THOSE WITH WALKING PROBLEMS though. The course is made up of stairs and steep hills you must walk to get to the next putting green. If you go during school and works hours the place is extremely empty. Which is good because it's a small place and since it's the only place like this in wilmington it fills up very fast on weekends and evenings. It's a cute

Fun place for mini golf, but the rest of the arcade and bathrooms are gross/dirty. The bathroom had just overflowed maybe recently? Smelled to high heavens!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. We played putt putt golf and they instructed how to play and what iron sizes we would need as I am taller than my wife. We had a great time but was pricey, cost $20 to play a quick 18 holes.

$98 dollars for 2 people at the water park. as soon as we paid they pulled everyone inside because of thunder. they refused a refund and then would not give me a rainy day pass until an hour later. do not come here.

This place is absolutely fantastic. It has something for everyone from parents to children of all ages I had trouble finding things to do for both my children since they have a 13 year difference in age but this place was perfect they both just loved it. You can purchase everything individually choosing what activities you would like to do or purchase a game card that you can refill at any time for the arcades which you can also use to do things like the bowling or AirHockey. Everything is a little bit pric

Family-oriented fun zone which has a challenging but fun 18 hole putt-putt golf course. During our visit we chose to only play putt-putt, however they also have a large go-carts track, water park, and various arcade games inside main building. **Some important things to know specific to the putt-putt course- it is not handicap accessible so if you have someone in your group who has challenges with walking up and down moderately steep or narrow elevations then there are certain parts of this course which may

Had so much fun here with my family! The toddlers we brought here loved it and the play area was super affordable. All of the staff was very young but helpful.

Jungle Rapids is the best place to cool off in the summer time. Be prepared to spend some money though. If you want to do everything that they offer you will be spending a good bit. They offer individually priced plans as well. You can do just one activity or do them all. It's up to you. The mini golf course is in great shape. It curves and cuts through the backside of the property. It's an 18 hole course with water hazards on some holes. The go-carts are average. Nothing to special about them. The water

It's definitely worth it. 60 dollars all in is the best price definitely if you got kids

Half fun, just don't pay to do anything because they will close it from a light rain and then never reopen even tho it's 85 degrees and sunny. Then tell you no refunds and lead you on about it reopening.

We love Jungle rapids ??

We went today to be told the water park isn't opened to the public today even though it does not say that on their website or Facebook page and it's not on their website?s calendar of events. This should be posted so people don't waste their time. Our 6 year old was very disappointed.

Had an absolute blast here! Had a family gathering in Wilmington and we ended up here. Turned out to be a great value for the money. We played Laser Tag and Mini golf and then messed around in the arcade. Everybody had a great time! We'll definitely go back if we have the chance!

Great day with the kids at the water park. The only downside is the cost. I really wish they would support locals by giving us a discount. Even in the off season.

Fun times with the family. Was late as we went after dinner so didn't hit up the Waterpark. Arcade was full of great redemption games and arcade games! Really neat battle games and coin pushers. All the kids and most adults in the party rode the outdoor go karts. We had a blast!!!!

Affordable and clean ???? staff is awesome.

This place is fun for all ages ! The staff at Jungle Rapids really impressed me today during opening weekend of the summer season for the water park. They really rolled out the red carpet for us patrons. Purchased the All-In Pass for the best value. Enjoyed the Water Park, 2 dry activities and A Meal voucher included. I must mention how clean the property is. Absolutely spic and span. From the bathrooms, dressing rooms, arcade area, cafe to the water park patio furniture. All clean and well kept. The staff

150 dollars for two parents and a 6 year old to go the Waterpark and it's not even made out of panda,Mickey Cohen didnt sign my kids life jacket so why is it 50 per person to ward out the lower economical structure of society?to push your brothers and sisters in arms lower onto the totem pole.

A little pricey BUT totally worth the smiles, laughs, and memories of my kids!! Precious moments!! Clean, safe environment and very family friendly! I would recommend and so would my kids!! Will be going back!!

Great Waterpark before it got too packed. The lazy river was great n so was the big pool that randomly give big rapid waves that's pretty fun. The food was overpriced. Had the pizza and it was bland n tasteless. Lockers were $15 plus $15 deposit which is very overpriced for the lack of space they have in it.

Had a great time with son and grandson only issue was the group in front of us was a party of 8 and they had no respect for the parties they were holding up. All in all great family fun.

Lots for everyone to do. Kids area inside and at waterpark. Lazy river and wave pool were wonderful. Lifeguards everywhere, always on point. Many arcade games inside (around $1.50 each). Couple of snack bars, they closed hours before park did....not sure why. Many outdoor activities available, we did not do those this trip. Waterpark was $45-$50 per person. Price is discounted 2 hours before waterpark closes. Plenty of seating throughout center. Would definitely go back.

The go karts and mini golf were so fun and had a great time. Great atmosphere

It has alot of games however not as many for the little kids and alot of machines only give u one try they also need more machines to win tickets

Had so much fun with Mini Golf! The course has a lot of shade which was great on a sunny day. The holes are pretty fun, the full course took just about an hour to get through. Things could use some upkeep but the price was fair for a local place!

Love this place. I've had my kids birthdays here for the last 10 years. Super excited for the Waterpark to open!

Very fun and exciting for the entire family. We have been twice and they even gave us free passes for taking our pictures! Really nice people and environment!

Be sure to call ahead and check times. Hours for arcade and water park were inconsistent and misposted. They have a lot of rules you should read carefully. However, once everything was opened, we had a very fun time. They provide life jackets for younglings and their food court was yummy though I wish there was a quicker way to access the main food court from outside. Laser tag was fun and had creative scoring.

Great water park, a bit expensive, but clean and not too crowded, lots of different slides and pools for every age group. Food is horrible, especially the pizza! Food is expensive, everything is high priced here actually. But my son loved the park, he really loved the wave pool and basketball hoop in the wave pool. Lifeguards were really on point, they stay on the whistle and for good reasons, and prevent lots of accidents and injuries. The arcade is decent but expensive, gocart track is fun for sure, prett

We enjoyed our time here! We took our 2-year old son to the kids jungle and he had a blast. We stopped to eat a hot dog and some nachos. Then we went go-karting which was super fun! My son didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back!

So much fun. We had 3 & 4 yo and they were able to do everything except for one slide. 2 kids & 2 adults cost $160. I think it was worth it!!

Good place to go with the kids for a few hours .. we usually just do the indoor jungle which is fit for our little girls the only time it's not so fun is when the indoor jungle gym is over crowded... I would say the best time to go is during the off peak time during the week .. overall it's a pretty nice size place and there's options for children and adults to be entertained.. I would recommend this place for some local fun!

My 11 year old loves it here and I do too ?? we had rainchecks fron 2019 but hadn't visited since Covid but they still allowed us to use the raincheck ..I was grateful..so the three of us made a day of it..there are multiple slides but we stayed in the wave pool and lazy river ...it was an awesome day..suggest going early to get a chair close to the umbrellas

We loved the park. It is smaller than parks we are used to but the layout is efficient and it was pleasant. My favorite part was the ample chairs in the shade. I was able to allow the kids to play all day while I was tucked away in the shade. We will definitely be back.

Awesome place and even gave us a rain check because of the storm that we have to use with in the year

This place is WELL worth the money including the Arcade! To be honest I hate water parks we just kind of wound up there since there was no beach access. I did the toilet bowl slide and it wasn't bad! My husband had a blast. It's a big enough park that even busy it wasn't to packed. They have bands for 60 a day that includes water park all day, 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Then 2 dry activities. We did mini golf and go carts. Definitely planning on going back there at some point!

Great experience! Went down to Wilmington and stayed in a Airbnb with my girlfriend and friends not to far from here. Looked at the pictures and activities before coming. Way better than expected! We had an amazing time and experience. Enjoyed everything from the pool, water slides, aracade games, and go carts. If your looking for a good time with family or friends young or old this is the place!

Fun family night out. There were a few games not working, but a medium sized selection of the rest. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

A nice place to go for the family . 4 adults and 3 kids $347?. Price is crazy high . But it was a one time thing and the grand kids enjoyed themselves !

Spent about 4 hours here with the family, we drove go karts which was $12 per ride. They have a mini bowling area for $3 my 6 year old loved. Next to that they have rock climbing area. Outside is mini golf next to the go karts. In a seperate area by the arcade they have a jungle gym, small bounce house & inside the jungle gym is 2 ball pits, one for kids 3 and under and another for older kiddos which was perfect for my kids. You have to purchase tickets at the front desk/drink area. There is small party roo

My fiance and I were going to check this place out mostly because we have been wanting to go since moving here 5 years ago and just wanted to find somewhere close to go and get out of the house and have some fun, sorta like date night I guess! We went to play games in the arcade mostly, particularly SKEE BALL but I would have definitely done the double or triple play, because I really wanted to try their go karts out, which that would have included two activities or three plus a ten dollar arcade card, but

What can I say? My kids are part fish, and they love to express themselves here. Looking for a fun time with the entire family? If they don't have what you need, then you are a hard person to please. We have loads of fun for hours every time. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

Never experienced the water park but my son loves the arcade and play area indoors. We love the mini golf!

First time ever coming to this place and boy did I have a lot of fun. Did some putt putt and would definitely recommend. Reminds me of a place that I enjoy back home. Definitely look forward to coming back in the future. Wanted to do the go karts but was a little chilly this evening. The staff are very friendly and polite.

There are some pluses and negatives for this place. Positive: 1. Not crowded, u will get to ride multiple times 2. Convenient location 3. Plenty of parking 4. Fair pricing Negative: 1. Horrible food, bring ur food and step out to car 2. If they close dry activities you will get location credit to use them in year. It's ok if you plan another trip here, if not you will just loose it.

Great, fun family activity if it's too hot for putt-putt golf outside... Cool inside. Games for all ages, but the total price adds up for necessary Game tokens.. For Unused tokens.. Kids can choose prizes at the end... Snack bar fast-food on site..

Excellent place for families to enjoy a while day of fun. There is plenty to do between the water park, laser tag, the dry rides and the arcade. The offer food and plenty of eating areas inside and out. Definitely a place to come visit and enjoy a while day as a family.

Just took our 4 kids to Jungle Rapids and had a great time! We played arcade games and laser tag! Can't wait to come back and ride go carts and play golf! Kyle was super helpful and helped us choose activities for our family.

We took our 2 little girls (2 yo & 9 months) and their cousins went with us (13 yo, 9 yo, 7 yo, 4 yo) while we were on vacation at Carolina Beach and we all had a great time. Bought the all-in passes and it was an excellent choice. The kids all loved the waterpark, regardless of what age. The included pizza and drinks were perfect when we were ready for a food break and we played laser tag and raced to-karts. We all agreed that we wished we had a place like this where we lived!

This was a fun family trip for a birthday. We did the discounted at 4 pm special but honestly this place is VERY pricey for a whole family. Still the kids had the best time and we could have stayed longer. It's just not something you can do a lot for the price. Lifeguards were great and the food was reasonably priced.

I come here quite often with friends to play putt putt or race the go karts. Everytime we have so much fun. The mini golf course is quite long and has many various types of holes. The go karts are fun but they are very strict about bumping. Kind of ruins some of the fun but I get it. Overall, jungle rapids is a great place and the prices are reasonable

Pros: wonderful staff, well run facility, good selection of activities, clean, most everything is maintained, the dry activities are fun and well thought out. My main criticism is that it is a jack of all, master of none. The water park is smaller than it seems, with a small wave pool, simple lazy river, and only a couple of slides. The arcade is small and oddly laid out with typical maintenance issues common to any arcade. They did credit us when we paid into a game that had just recently quit working, and

We went to Torment laser tag last Friday and it was an amazing experience! It was a little scarier than I had expected, I think us adults were screaming more than the kids. I would definitely be coming back next year they get a 10/10 from me.

We spent the Entire day here! I was super excited there was fun for babies too! We put my lil guy in a life jacket and he had the time of his life! I absolutely LOVE this place and I'll be back!

This place is exactly what my family needed! It is so much to do from video games, to outside water park! The staff was wonderful and very helpful!

Very clean. Could use some more double tubes. People were hoarding them at their chairs because there are fewer. A nice lifeguard let us know our three year old could go down the slides with an adult holding her. So glad we were told this. I will say it is more of a "free for all". The lifeguards are not like most water parks I've been to. You must watch your kids closely, especially around the wave pool. They do get you with the opening time. We were first timers this weekend and see on the website that p

This is a wonderful water park and "dry" activities are fun too. We did the water park and two dry activities and they were both gokart racing. The water was clean and had a nice chill to it on the really hot day. I only give this a 4 instead of a 5 star because there was not enough shaded seating areas. There are shade spots for rent though and with a severe weather warning for the heat index I was thinking it would have been good of the park to open the rental spots up that were not being used. Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
