We stopped by during Cavern Fest and were blown away by the vibe here! Inside was cool and air-conditioned?exactly what we needed after being out in the heat. You can tell this place genuinely supports the local community. So many game options, clean space, great staff, and fun for all ages. I hope they stay in business forever. Places like this are rare!
Had a great time. We definitely got the hang of it near the end of the first hour. I learned never to turn my back to her. We'll definitely be back and also recommend this place to those who haven't been here before.
very fun. I went there for the first time today, and it was cool. It's nice to have something to do here in Carlsbad, since there's not much to do here. I only tried the Photo Booth and I loved it. I went there with my friends and got a lot of cute pics. There's alot of arcade cabinets. Very cool you don't see those much anymore. It's definitely going to be a go to hang out spot with friends. I hope it stays for business.
We had so much fun our next party will be here! The haunted house was just long enough and scary enough to be fun without being too much or too little! The arcade was expansive and it was so refreshing to go to an arcade without a bunch of broken games. They have enough to do for so many ages that my family spent a couple of hours there and didn't do everything. I highly recommend it!
The place Is nice they have a rage room batting cages and axe throwing where you can not only throw axes but you can throw ninja stars batarangs and metal throwing cards
This is an amazing place! The kids loved it, the guys loved it. Safe and well maintained! So glad carlsbad has something fun to do in the winter months now too.
Fun stop! Super clean everywhere! Lots of games and activities. We will visit again when we are in town!
The staff were very sweet and friendly and the prices weren't as bad as we thought and they had so many fun activities and more to come
Although the place is great and you can tell a lot of thought and money was put into this place, I do not recommend solely on the fact that IM SURE I got food poisoning here. Their brisket and pulled pork is not cooked here and is cooked in A EMPLOYEES HOME! I'm not sure how they've got away with this but working in food service myself this is a big N-O! I wanted to like this place so bad considering my whole family had a great time and some of the employees were really nice. Although the manager that was b
There were not many games and kinda expensive.
Absolute blast! There is so much fun stuff to do. The rage room was so awesome!
So the prices a pretty fair and there's no entry fee to hit the arcade up. You use reloadable cards for the games. They have concessions in the back room like $2 hot dogs, killer. So a nice spread of snacks and grub. And plenty of Old school games to take you back a couple decades. My favorite is the 3 credit ski ball. You will find me dominating that most of my days off now. They do both half hour and hour prices for batting cages ax throwing and cornhole.
I take my son every weekend to the batting cages the people are very friendly always helpful
Great place surprised to see it in carlsbad actually. Hope they stick around!
Axe throwing and so much more. Juar'axe is a wonderful blend of the modern and the retro. A great place to have fun and unwind.
Fun place to have family fun nights!!!
this place is awesome and decently priced (pro tip: look for jlv on the leaderboards ??)
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
