The food is Horrible Stuff dried out salad bar understock really the whole thing is understocked. Went to go get a mocha both cups were dirty. A lot of the games are closed. Food is dried out this most of them. My grandson?s reward from school wow.?? Incredible John Pizza was horrible today. My grandson got a award in school and he also got a free pass to eat at incredible John?s Pizza in Modesto. We went about 2:45 pm today. The pizza was dried up and they only had a few slices there to offed. Looked at t

Ghetto and unsanitary. The buffet was very dirty and had a bunch of kids put their hands all over the salad and there's kids inhaling helium from the balloons just like LA activities. This place definitely needs new management.

Highly disappointed far too many of the games were not working the food was mediocre and the workers were standing around not doing anything they weren't replenishing the food

We went to a paid room birthday? not worth what the birthday party host paid. Plus, the majority of us adults paid to get in! I feel if it's a party for a kid adults should be free with the child counted in the party! The food was not fully stocked at all! Barely anything matched at food stations.. like pasta noodles but NO sauce! And half hot pizzas were being served while being put out from oven!! But in the end children who attended had a good time?running around playing games and riding the one ride a

Definitely not worth the price! We went at 5:30, which you would think would be dinner fully prepared, but there was barely any selection. The food area was a mess and no one was cleaning it. The tables in the room we went into were dirty and no attendants anywhere. It was a busy Saturday night and barely anyone working. The bathroom was so dirty, no paper towels. We were there until closing at 9pm and they never refilled the dessert area or cleaned up any areas, the ice cream machine was a mess and floor s

It's been almost 8 years since I visited here, never brought my youngest, but the place could severely use some changes and is in need of maintenance and restorations. The food was always empty and needed to be refilled, and the salad bar could use some help. The staff was the greatest part, with some looking like they just wanted to retire, and I'm talking about the elderly individuals. The arcades needed repair and were out of operation, but my kids had a good time and didn't notice all of the significa

?? 1 Star ? Never Again for My Family I booked a special birthday party for my daughter Liana, who just turned nine, expecting a fun and memorable day ? instead, it turned into a total nightmare that's unfortunately going to stick in her memory for all the wrong reasons. The management at this location is absolutely terrible. We witnessed a manager fighting with a customer right in front of families and children. Completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. On top of that, the food stations were constantl

Despite some of the games being out of order and losing more than a dozen credits. Despite nothing in the pasta section looking appetizing and my older son getting a stomach ake, and despite missing the bumper cars, the kids had a great time. They were disappointed at first because they wanted to go to rocket jump, but after the first game, they were sold. "Best day ever!" All day. They loved the rides, but unfortunately, it was the lack of credits and time that we missed the bumper cars. We also missed the

My cousin recommended this place! it was the bomb!! especially for the grandkids & adults too! cant go wrong .. for $11.99 Seniors & $8 for kids.. under 2yrs. is free. All you can eat.. buffet which is pizza...pasta..salad bar..desserts.. soups..i mean what a deal!!

I went to my grandson's birthday party. The staff was really friendly. The private rooms for cake and gift exchange are really unique and you can actually hear each other talk. The food was good as well ,it's like a buffet where you can get what you want and as much as you want ,( within your groups package), not just a couple pizzas and a pitcher of soda dropped off at your noisy table and half of your group are "who knows where" it's easy to keep the group together and security looks like the kids aren't

I would give this place a 5 if the restroom were not out of service when i took my family there.. i mean come on now, how could you have a business like this without a restroom... Also the food selection were laggin in my opinion not that much to pick. The kids had fun tho with the games so thats where the 2 stars rating coming in if not i give it a minus 5. Fun place, food sucks, and wish the restroom is not out of service. I wouldnt recommend it. There u go.

Extremely disappointed. Food trays were mostly empty, sugar cookie was almost as hard as a rock, brownies & cheese cake was salty (words can't describe), & most ice cream dispensers were down & the working ones tasted funny. There were 15 of us & none of us will be returning.

Sunday Fun Day. Thank you to Jerome and his whole Sunday Crew. We had a Party in #8 and from the moment we entered to the moment we left it was an awesome experience. It was all smile from each and every team member encounter. Thank you for a memorable day.

We love JIP , it's always clean and the staff is great. I made a mistake reading the app offer and they were so great about helping me out. We came in for my son's birthday treat. The customer service is great, and as expected they are great with kids and families. I recommend asking a member to ring you and and help assist you when redeeming offers. The manager and staff were especially helpful and we had such a great experience despite my mistake today.

Had daughters birthday party on Saturday 19th 2025. Our host was amazing. That was the only shining star was our host Delila. However, The ceiling fan in the party room was loose and shaking like it was about to fall. Food selection was not great. Half the games were not working and long wait times due to workers working other rides. To top it off..the restrooms closed down leaving everyone to walk to Walmart. I can say so much more but this is long enough already. I will not come back ever again.

Took my daughter here on her birthday which was on a weekday. I put 2 stars because the employee that greets you was nice, however the food was disgusting . It was like left over food from lunch, I came at 4. We went to play games because I was thinking they would make fresh food, but when we came back it was the same food that was out there. The food was limited probably only 3 pizzas and the deserts were rock solid from sitting on the food warmer for so long. Maybe it's because of a weekday, but it should

We don't come here much. It's fun don't get me wrong but it cost way to much. You should be able to go back and forth between the food and arcade because kids don't really eat much with excitement of games. The ticket payout is not great either. We spent over $100 in credits and won less than 300 tickets. The kids didn't want anything in prizes. I'm sorry but Dave n Buster's is much better.

This place was fun. For $60 my daughter and I had all you can eat buffet and 3 rides plus credits. The food was actually better than I was expecting. The biggest ride was down as were some of the games but that's always the case at places like this. We will definitely be back it was worth going.

You need to come early if you want to eat all the veggies from the salad bar, long wait for pizza not friendly staff place need to be clean

My sister n I took her grandkids to your establishment. We've never been there before. The lady up front was very helpful and polite. We went on and got or good and sat in one of the rooms. They kept the rooms picked up after people were leaving. It all started down hill from there. The women?s restroom stalls all had all sanitary bins full n not cleaned out n no paper towels. Then we kept finding a lot of games out of order. I hate to say but I don't think we'd go back.

Very busy Saturday afternoon, my first time going to Johns Incredible Pizza since the pandemic. Now when you walk in there's a kiosk we're you enter the number of people in your group and add any extras like tokens for games. Food is okay and there were a lot of games out of service. Kids still had a good time though some games didn't work. And for their prizes I think they should add more options like candy ?? or other thing?s for the smaller kids.

Really impressed how some of the arcade games were more generous on jackpots compared to the one in Fresno but the only downside no 4 cheese pizza.

This is tue January 2 @ 6:42pm on this day it wasn't busy @ all the halve the rides were broken the 2 pot empty were empty from 4:00 to 7:30pm the manger was there people complaining about the mess the no food on the counters & how much money we spent to eat there it was so Disgusting how does a manager not care on how an appearance of his restaurant look on his watch so I decided to post it so everyone can see for them selfs on how it look maybe he will care a little bit more to see that everyone can see h

They don't top up selection of food there. Some plates are empty maybe because you only pay small amount of money to eat there. I got one piece of fried chicken and other piece look like someone just bit and leave it there. I got acid reflux or heartburn after that I am not sure if it was the coke or I ate too much. The food made my stomach upset and it was so heavy ??.

1 Star I honestly don't recommend John's Incredible Pizza. The place might seem fun at first glance, but most of the arcade games are constantly broken. It's super frustrating, especially when you've already loaded money onto their game card only to find out half the machines don't even work. Even worse, the employees don't seem to care at all. I asked for help a couple times and just got shrugged off or completely ignored. It feels like they just want your money and don't care if you actually enjoy your ti

So we bought the $30 groupon deal thinking we were getting a deal thinking it was better than buying a package from Johns Incredible Pizza only to find out you only get 40 tokens, 3 rides and pizza/food buffet and a drink, from this deal and everything costs tokens. The $30 package from Johns gives you 160 tokens free with free rides and games all night with the pizza/food buffet and drink. We told the manager and she actually gave us more tokens and took care of us since the Groupon deal is trash. Dont buy

Place was clean; However, food wasn't ready. We went there Wednesday and they were only serving pizza, salad, two different cookies, and two different cakes. Paid for three and ended up getting what I could have gotten at Chucky cheese. We went around 12:30. When we left around 2:30, they were still serving the same thing. There was a significant amount of people scheduled to work. However I only saw 4 people actually working, while everyone else was just standing around and talking to each other instead of

The best place for kids and big kids as well. We thought it was going to be the little ones having fun no, we had a blast. Birthday parties, graduation parties, new to the neighborhood parties, first dates you name it. It's perfect for this place trust me. The buffet is even better, THE BOMB!

Went to incredible John?s for my granddaughter?s birthday party. They had a whole three pieces out there you had a choice of pepperoni, ham, and pineapple Pepperoni, sausage salad there's nothing there no pot Harley any pasta it was a total waste of time if I could give this places zero out of 10 I would very disappointed don't waste your time or money

I have come here quite often with my Wife, usually this place has been pretty good, decent food, decent customer service and cooks. Today coming here, I'm not sure what's going on in the back, but the food has been either under cooked, over cooked, the pizza that came out wasn't even fully cut or cut with any effort and the pieces had to get practically torn off to get it. The Salad bar is good as usual. Though deserts were old and left out, much of the hot plate area was the same, the pasta was dried out.

Always fun. mini golf, laser tag, bumper cars, spinning swings. So many fun arcade type games.

Roaches and food is disgusting. Not worth the money you pay you're better off going to Chuck E. Cheese. Staff is extremely rude and got mad we asked for a refund due to the roaches and would not let our kids play laser tag.

So sad that my kids don't get to experience this place the way I did. For the price the food sucks. The price for games sucks because you don't even win much to get prizes n the worst part is the lazy workers not wanting to work. If people choose to work at places like this they need to have a way better attitude especially when kids are around. Workers will stand around n see lines forming for the rides then all of a sudden they disappear lik if yall don't wanna work then why even show up. HONESTLY SURPRIS

Selection is low, no more fried chicken, also the TVs in the rooms are literally going out. Static and blinking. Couldn't even enjoy my nephews bday in the toon room, no tv maintenance.

A fantastic location for an "All You Can Eat" pizza restaurant, really like the eating rooms as there themed for kids with Disney characters, Nickelodeon characters, and Hanna/Barbera. The buffet gives you plenty of pizza options of all flavors including a spicy peanut butter flavor, and other wonderful flavors, an awesome location to bring the whole family.

This place has been a family fav for over 20 years!!! Love it! Yummy food, great games, fun for all ages. Their New Year's Eve event was fantastic!!!!! Our fam of 8 lovvvvvved it! Huge thanks to all the staff who worked tonight to make the event so special for our family! Ernie, ty for running such a fun night!! You and your crew did wonderful! We'll treasure this memory for years to come!

We love everything about this place especially their food.I must say that they have one of the best salad bars in Modesto. When we bring our grandchildren here they always enjoy the food, games and rides. We really love seeing them happy.

Asked if more food was coming out and 30 minutes later still no pizza, just a few dried out pieces that have been sitting for the longest time. Food stations are a mess. Honestly eat somewhere before you come and just enjoy the games. The chicken was dry and not very well seasoned and the rest of the food sat on hot pans too long.

Most fun I've had with my niece and nephew. Food was great rides and games were awesome. Laser tag, spinning swing, bumper cars, blacklight mini golf, blacklight bowling, and an arcade...what else can I say.

Everything was disgusting food makes you sick, might as well just got to McDonald?s because at least there food is actually heated, everything was dirty place looked like it hadn't been touched in years, barley any games were open, paid over 200, rides were closed and poor attendance, chucky cheese is better.

Omg this place has really gone down hill. First time coming here in years and it was terrible. I have a stomach ache as we speak ?? literally NO clean tables to sit at in any of the rooms. I wish I had taken pictures but since I had got there around 8 I was just trying to make the most of the time left since they closed at 10. Food trays were all empty, I literally came back around to check if they would fill the pasta or soups within a whole hour and nothing. Salad bar was messy, spills everywhere and vegg

Visited on a Sunday afternoon at 12noon. Great variety of pizza. Full salad bar. The staff was very fast at cleaning off the tables in the various rooms. The party rooms offer 2 hours time limit. Several of the arcade games were out of order. The rides were great! Lots of fun! The prize options had a lot of good variety.

Food is ok for kids but needs to have some grown folk options beside salaf

This place is so disgusting. Poop smeared on the toilet seats, the pizza was raw, ice cream machine like sprayed at me, the games would shut down randomly and reboot. This place is not how I remembered it as a kid.

My son came here for a birthday party. He had an amazing time. My family has thrown parties here before...attended parties. Always a great time!

Place needs new leadership. The games are filthy. My grandson got robbed from the Air hockey game. Table wouldn't even blow air. Picture are worth a thousand words.. Cannot believe how filthy the game area is. Discussing to say the least. Tried to get a manager to help. That was useless as well..

Overall fun for the kids Skepticism for adults Empty food bars Dirty restrooms human waste and excrement on floor and over toilets Lack of ice for the beverages And numerous machines/rides etc out of order or not attended during a weekend

Went to celebrate mine and my sons birthday. We went on a friday at like noon We used coupons to get in and save some money. Food was good. If I could give the employees 10 stars for customer service I would. They were so attentive and kind and great with my kiddos. There was on attendant running all the rides and she made sure everyone knew it would be a.min before she would be back..communication was great. The arcade money went a long way. My son had a blast. My only complaint is it was very dirty. Just

It used to be good.. continues to go down hill while they raise their prices..games not working and the place looking dirty..food is not much.. ice cream machine broke and no deserts..tables were cleaned by us so we could use them

The buffet was ok and the arcade were a little crowded. We definitely went on the wrong day! Your family will have fun here!

A fun place to go with the kids. They have a blast. Just wish they had more staff to help and a little bit more positivity

It was nice and calm during lunch hours on the weekday and my family got to enjoy it and play alld the games and rides available.

We had a purchased entry for our family of 4. The kids were able to get a 2hr arcade and full size ride pass. Included with the 2 hrs of playtime our entry costs also covered an all you could eat buffet. I'm the food and drink section was a wide variety of pizza, chicken nuggets, pasta dishes, soups, nachos and salad bar. The also had an assortment of desserts including cakes, pie, cookies, brownies and soft serve ice cream. For the drinks they had sodas, teas, coffee, icees, and beer frozen adult beverages

Was expensive for no food games suck ripoff on prizes my 6 year old had 2 cards and nothing was working with the games also to do a claw machine was bull didnt even work right food was no options also ice cream didnt work

A wonderful place for Birthday Parties and fun for children in Modesto. I highly recommend trying all the family fun activities that they offer here.

John's incredible was horrible the staff had attitudes like they didn't like their job the ran out of food at the salad bar and they didn't replace items and the games were mostly broken never will go back there again

This place was my childhood. I went there all the time and loved it. I was in Modesto yesterday and needed a place to eat. John?s Incredible Pizza immediately came to mind. I went there for the first time in years and was extremely disappointed. It was not the same place it was during my childhood. The place was extremely dirty and there was barely any food out or being made, all the while employees were just standing around socializing with one another not doing their jobs. In the arcade, half the games

The Food wasn't that great this time. The WAIT TIME for our kids to get on the few rides available was 15- 20 minutes. That's crazy when I purchased 4 unlimited tickets, 2 hour starts when 1st put card in game or ride. But because wait time, kids didn't like going on Mondays. The weekend is probably better.

We went here for my mother's b'day and a large group of Muslims were allowed in free by the manager who allowed them to put huge amounts of pizza and cookies in there purses, also they were allowed to take all the vests to play Lazer tag, we weren't allowed to play nor did we get any cookies and very little pizza, this place sucked and they were very rude and everything was broken, games etc. we've been here many times before and spent a lot of money but never again.

Went for my sons 4th birthday ?? just for a couple hours our first time here and it really was fun pretty expensive for alot of the arcade games to be broke down and he really wanted the bumper cars but those too were out of service but we made the best of it

Nice place to take the kids and have fun with the family, has plenty of games and a couple of fun rides, the food is ok i guess, overall it's a great place in town to visit once in a while.

Went here yesterday for my nephew's birthday party didn't think I'd have pay just to get in. I paid $13.47 and that is for adult buffet. I would have had to pay an extra $3.00 for a drink. For $13.47 I thought I would be able to get at least one small soda but not there. Pizza was good but the other food wasn't that great. But I didn't pick that place my nephew did and he had lots of fun. Here check it out....... I added my receipt just to show that I'm not trippin

Most of their arcade was down when we went, like half at least. the pizza was good, not the best I've ever had but good. When a child got sick no one came to help clean it up tho...

The pizza is really good. Not just good enough for kids. Salad bar is fully stocked with the goods. Really good pickles. Lol. Pasta and potatoes station. Soft serve ice cream and good selection of drink. The arcade is really modern and there is bumper cars and bowling. Laser tag and a carnival type ride. Small kids have a small ride very youth friendly. A few games worked but had issues so they suck up your credits to find this out. Other than that it was a fun day for the adults and kids.

Multiple family members from different cities went here Saturday for a birthday party and ended up in the Emergency Room.

I have taken my 3 kids and my 4 younger brothers and sisters here so many times in my past and with our any complaints other than the kids whining that they didn't want to go yet they wanted to stay longer and this was the way every visit here ended.b lol we all really enjoy this mini amusement park in our very little to offer teens and pre teens places to hangout and parents feel safe with the boundaries our loved ones have set for them to roam around and have a blast in. The hey offer a great place to ho

Personnel was super friendly. They have a good number of videogame machines. Their laser tag experience was good, and their small bowling section was perfect for my two small children.

It was honestly great and I had fun the best ride by far was thriller I'm coming back

DONT come at 7pm .. barely any food left. Ladies Bathroom was dirty. Place closes at 9:30 and you can't use the bathroom by 9pm because they turn off the lights.

Almost everything was empty at the food area. Ice cream machin was so dirty and disgusting. They need to clean a lot more

I would have given more stars, but whomever was in charge shut all the bathrooms down for over 90 mins. How can management do that when there are at least 50 to 75 patrons still eating in your establishment. There are little kids here needing to use the facilities, yet you have shut them down. What idiot would do this ?

The restaurant area was clean, but pasta bar was under stocked the whole 30 to 45 minutes I was there. The pizza bar was mostly stocked but not a lot of variety. It was mostly peperoni with a different added topping. The Salad bar looked good and fresh. The arcade was busy and gave the carnival experience expected.

No longer a reasonable place to eat. For seniors it's $20. Honestly I don't see how families can afford to eat here. The salad bar no longer sparkled. Some of the salad bar containers were empty. The Theatre room tables were dirty. Food on the floor. The TV had poor reception. Children shouldnt be allowed to help themselves at the beverage bar or food bars. There should be attendants watching & helping them. We only came as our children's school gave reward certificates to them. This place has run down a lo

Kids had a fun time until they realized 1\3 of the machines weren't working.

Kids had fun. Kinda dirty and a lot of broken games.food was decent.

It was okay? but very many safety issues and concerns which is employees needa keep their eyes on the floors being wet or something that is spilled needs to be handled. The food was okay but the ice cream machine on both sides is either melted or doesn't work at all! I get it kids suppose to grab their own food and such but at the same time it has so many violation of touching foods and putting it back and it's just super horrible. Also the arcade side it was decent but so many games are broken or do not wo

We drove over 70 miles to this John's Incredible Pizza. So glad the buffet was back! They had the nicest salad bar that I've seen at John's, but missing French dressing or something and the hand sanitizer was out. I notified them that only one worked, but I didn't see any replace them. Most games worked, but some sides were shut down due to COVID restrictions we couldn't play them together. Overall, it was worth the drive because we all enjoyed ourselves & felt grateful for the family and friend time!

Used to be great, now it's whatever. Food is below average

Great place for kids and adults. Lunch time during the week is the best time to go because otherwise it is completely packed. Plus you get the best deals at lunch time. I love taking my son here he has a great time playing games. We eat pizza in the kids room where he can watch cartoons.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Had a birthday party for my son and I was very disappointed! I will never have another party at this establishment. We paid over $400 for this party and the room was not big enough to accommodate all my guests! I spoke to the manager and they did nothing to correct the issue during my party. Half of my guests stood outside the party room during the party. Most of the rides we not working and a lot of games were broken!!! The food area was really empty and not stacked during most

I celebrated with family here for my daughter?s 1st birthday. I spent a lot of money to enjoy our day for the party room and fun cards. The only ride my daughter was able to get on was the train ride which is fine but the worker told me no because her father who is petite 140lbs couldn't go on and sit with her. She said it would have to be another kid, so my 16 yr old cousin was going to go on with her but the worker said no again. We witnessed another teenager getting off the ride while waiting in line. I

I'm disappointed. Theres hardly any workers on the arcade floor, we had to hunt people down just to go on the rides, and half of the arcade games are broken.

My son enjoys John's Incredible pizza. He loves being able to choose a section within the food area to watch his favorite cartoons while he eats and has his slushy. Once we're done we head over to the games area we usually load the same card ( I save it for him as it holds his tickets ride credits and his coins to play. I totally recommend to sign up as vip we get free meals every so often. ??

It was alright. Lots of the games were broken. So every time we scanned a card, it would deduct it but you wouldn't be able to play or earn tickets. The booths to buy the cards at the entrance were broken as well. We were halfway in paying when the front attendant went rudely to grab someone else's receipt and opening the machine we were using without even saying excuse me. So there was no privacy while paying. Honestly, I wouldn't go here again. It was my kids first time and they were mostly walking aro

I have been going to this place for a while, and it has never been this dirty and disorganized. Tables were dirty and sticky. I had to clean it. My self plates had stains forks were dirty, the floor was sticky and trashy. The arcade most of the machines were close, and some other ones would just take your credit away and wouldn't work. Plus, they give you only a few tickets on each game is so ridiculous ?? three to 5 tickets. And on top of that, you pay almost 18 dollars now it's used to be 12 not worth it

I always enjoy this place great arcade. The all you can eat buffet is decent as well and worth it. You can spend all day there if you want eat play and snack again later, its fun for the whole family they all had smiles on there faces the whole time.

It was only 6ish on a Saturday and... *they already had more than half the food cleared. *I asked one of the employees for more potato salad, and she seemed quite upset that I interrupted her conversation. I only interrupted because after a couple minutes of me standing there, she wasnt looking like she going to end the convo any time soon. *In the eating areas, tables were not cleaned, floors were not swept, and TVs werent wired properly. *The restrooms were STINKY and 2 of the 3 soap dispensers were empty

We came here for my grand sons birthday party? We rented a party room for a very large group of 50 or so. The girls who came to help with the party or wonderful! They did games with the children, and even offered to help us set up for the party! The kids all had such fun, playing the video games and even riding the indoor amusement park rides. The food was good? Not great because a lot of it was empty and they were slow at refilling. The salad bar was amazing but again, a lot of empty containers that we had

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
