John's Incredible Pizza - Carson

John's Incredible Pizza - Carson

Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews are mixed but lean positive. Many praise the fun atmosphere, variety of games, and decent food (especially pizza), with some highlighting good service and cleanliness. However, frequent complaints include poor maintenance of arcade machines, inconsistent food quality, slow or unhelpful staff, and cleanliness issues in dining areas and restrooms. Groupon deals are recommended for better value. While families often enjoy the experience, poor management and hygiene at some locations deter repeat visits.

The pizza and pasta is very good. We came here to ride the Crazy 8 coaster. A school group was here too and they did a great job busting out tasty food fast. I think the key is to get here when everything is fresh at opening. Lots of games, mini golf, & bumper cars also. The staff there was friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival at 7:45pm the manager Jorge, informed us that the store will be closing soon and the buffet only had half of the normal items. I asked are you encouraging us to leave. He responded,?no I just don't want you complaining about the lack of food because the buffet closes at 8:30pm and we aren't bringing out anymore food. The buffet didn't have half of the normal items. We had no where to sit after making our plates. All the tables were dirty. The entire buffet area was nasty. Stuff everywhere, floo

It was really fun I went on the roller coaster multiple times (despite with they say for the fun cards you can use credits to get on the rides as well)

Saturday 04-26-2025 Around 7:30pm there was a shooting when we were there to celebrate a birthday party, pls everyone be safe out there and be careful. John?s incredible pizza you guys need more security service on this kids place. This place is to have fun not for the kids to run for their lives.

Fun place to play but not to eat. Salad bar was disgusting, salads had water in them. Waited over 45 minutes for chicken nuggets and when we finally went to get some they were all out. This was our first time here and it wasn't fun food experience.

My daughter enjoys John's Incredible Pizza. I love that they always have fresh pizza within a few minutes. They also have other options live salads, spaghetti, dessert, coffee, slushy, and all the fountain drinks. They charge an admission fee (depending on what time you arrive) plus game credits. They also keep the buffet area clean and there is ample rooms to dine in. The arcades are pretty great and I love the small golf course and the spinner ride. I created an account for the perks. Free admission for b

I went to the Carson location today and got there to find that there aren't many options for someone like me who is gluten free due to an allergy. Outside of a salad and/or soup, there wasn't any options for me to enjoy. We (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc) should have the same options as someone with a regular diet as we are all paying the same price. But instead, I was told I could purchase a gluten free pizza a la carte even tho I have already paid the ?entrance fee? that includes the buffet. It's un

Best place for pizza and games. The birthday party hall is good, you get a dedicated host and room to have good time with family and friends. The 25$ card gets you unlimited food and games worth playing for more than an hour. The buffet spread is good with so many unlimited pizza varieties, pasta and atleast 10 different sauces and gravy. Checkout the video to see full buffet spread. They also have a counter for Beer and wines. The buffet also gets you unlimited ice cream, dessert and soda. Well organized a

Our first time here and it did not disappoint. Walking in, the place was so organized and clean for such a large establishment. I loved that the restaurant part was on one side and the games were on the other. The buffet selection was amazing. Along with all the other pastas, soups, salads, desserts and much more. The staff was really friendly and there were so many games for the kids to enjoy. If you haven't been here, you must!

It's been a while since I went to John's, the one I went to before closed when COVID happened so this was the first time in this location The staff was super friendly and kept the dining areas very clean ... They just need more personnel at the front door so when it picks up one can attend the people needing help in the screens as the other lets them in. Other than that I'm willing to go again.

Gotta get there early my son had a blast everything was fresh and the bathrooms where still clean

Definitely a Bang for your Buck if you got Kids that wanna Eat Crappy Food and Enjoy Game/Entertainment for a good few hrs. As for Cleanliness, Weeeelll? ... Let's just say they CAN start that. The attempt to enter/pay was an issue. The machines don't accept tap or chipped card, it's old school so put your cards in. Then there was no receipts so you gotta wait in another line for that. Theeennn, there's never any clean plates up at the buffet. As for the restroom ...DO NOT ENTER cause clearly no cleaning cr

This place can be pretty chaotic with kids running a muck! I did have a great experience, and the workers tried really hard to make it a positive experience. I booked a party for 100 people and the capacity in the cabin fever room is for 95. I was told we could add chairs, but this was wrong. I recommend you physically go check out the room and look for the max capacity because they will not add tables or chairs to the room. I was offered to move rooms but our party was hunting camo theme so we dec

So this place is really great price wise. It's all you can eat and drink buffet. But you have to buy game cards/ credits.. cheapest credits was $25. It's actually not too bad and for the first purchase it gives you 1 free ride. You can use that for bumper cars or roller coaster. It's pretty great. Moving on, the food was surprisingly really good. Like REALLY good for cheap food. My only complaint this visit was the restroom... The restroom was really dirty. Feces on some toilet bowls and toilet paper with f

Really great place and much cheaper than chuck e. chess?s or Dave and busters. The games all worked and were maintained. loved the mini golf and roller coaster. And the buffet wasn't too bad, pasta and pizza were enjoyed and great eating space with multiple options on where to eat with different scenery. Overall amazing place and definitely choosing this over other arcades.

The game verity is great! Some games give out and not much staff available to help! First two hours pizza is very lacking in quantity & quality, and overall close to half the buffet is empty at any time. Also wish they had more food options for parents! But overall is very fun for kids and parents seeing kids happy

Not bad, went here for my birthday with some friends. Wished they had more food options though in the buffet. Loved the deals they have and the different theme rooms playing different channels! It's clean and fun, especially the cute robot that passes by to collect the dishes!.

Took my family in for some food and games. All dining rooms were dirty, all tables had dirty dishes from previous customers. We had to clean and push all the dirty plates to another table in order for us to have a clean spot to eat while the employees stood there and gossip about who knows what. At about 7:30 they stopped making food. So we were very limited on what to eat, keeping in mind they close at 930. In the games area. I would say half the arcade games were broken down, trash everywhere, and again,

This was my 1st experience with my granddaughter and some friends I'm friends didn't even know this place existed but wow is it fun great buffet of choices of food. I do think that they need more pricing specials as far as the buffet goes because when you pay for entry on top of games and rides it becomes a Disneyland expense. But on occasion it is still a reasonable outing. We had a great time although the food did make me sick. There are really no healthy choices. I did have salad they need bigger salad t

Worst experience ever. I took my nieces and my boyfriend's brother today 4/26/25 and to begin with the drinks tasted like sink water there was not a lot of food options, staff were all in a bad mood and to top it of there was a possible shooting everyone started to run and we had exit through the emergency exits and cops arrived. This place was very ghetto

We had so much fun! We stop by here cuz it was close LAX. And we're dropping my brother and family at the airport, we spend 3 hours here and we had so much fun! Cheap for lunch specials $12 for adults and food was good! Loved the mashed potato?s the rice and the pizza! The MANAGER KIM she solved an issue we had with a play card and she was super nice and quick! Shout out to Kim!

Not even showing half of how dirty this place was ?? Arrived around 6:30 pm and this is what it mostly looked like thought the whole night. Most food items were out. Big lack of sanitation in the food and play areas. A few of the games were out of service. Cups and trash all over the place, on the floors and on the games. No child or staff supervision whatsoever kids climbing on games. Place needs better management.

So Welcome to Our part of town. This one is so much larger, and plenty of new games and ride. The atmosphere is electrfying. Unfortunately, there is a lot of customers, and not enough employees to keep it functioning at A standard that is acceptable. The right management team can take to a level of satisfaction

This is 4 stars for just the Groupon discounted price visit, I don't think it's worth paying full price and I have it DOWN for you guys! Get the Groupon 2 hour all you can eat and play!!! Once you are inside DO NOT use the cards yet go straight to the food and stuff yourself NO RUSH you are allowed to eat as long as you want they are not going to kick you out. When stuffed now swipe the 2 hour all you can play card with everyone together and play as much as you can do not play mini golf until the very very

I like that this Incredible Johns is a bit closer to us but when i went for my friends daughters Birthday it was very dead their was hardly any food to serve and out of the 3 roller coaster rides there was only 1 available to use. I do plan to give it another chance and go during the weekend to see if its a better scene but none the less if your gonna be open for business you should have everything up and running and food available epically when your paying $20.00 per person

Place was clean but the atmosphere was not all there. Employees seem to be bothered when you would ask them for something. Food was ok but not that great. I've been to other locations and this one wasn't just that great. Will give them a try if when I do go back to California just to give them a second try and will see.

Just nasty. Came here for a birthday party and let me tell you, I will never come back again. All the workers were standing around even when we asked for help with cleaning a table. They never came over. The whole bar was DIRTY and the manager that was in charge of kept coughing over ther food. My daughter dropped her plate and I offered to clean it up, the manager told us she would take care of it. 20 mins later the food was still on the floor. Also, the chicken was cooked in OLD GREASE BUT NOT COOKED ALL

Fun place for the kids. Visited on a Thursday 5p, buffet has lots to offer usually, but probably not the case on a weekday. My favorite pizza there is the garlic pesto, none being served when we arrived. Spoke to the person managing that area and she had my favorite pizza out in less than 10 mins. If it's listed and you don't see it, just ask them to make it. Please offer better quality prizes.

Food is good alot of choices....lots of desserts. Fun for the kids.

Love pizza! They kids love the games and of course the pizza too. They use to have chicken; they should bring it back. A bit messy at times , people need to be more careful with the food , not dropping it . Specially the kids ; parents need help the kids with there meals.

My family and I went and it was ghetto from the start. Paying for our entrance was a mess, had to wait for our receipt to get scanned so we can enter for about 10 min. We were a party of 6 and 3 out of six got food poisoning and had to go to er. Half of the games did not work which was a total loss for us because they should?ve told us before purchasing that half the games did not work and we had bought 4 $35 cards to play. This whole experience was just horrible.

It was a great time spent with my family, even it was busy because was Sunday I didn't see difficulty to get in and to get the food because they have a lot off different foods, pizza, pasta, salad and dessert. They also have different thematic rooms to get the tables to sit. About the games they have games for any kind of age and different size and stiles to play. The price is fair for quality they offer and you can go trough them website to see some promotions or get some Groupon deal on the Groupon websit

I came to this John?s incredible pizza on Super Bowl Sunday with my son. We played games got on the small roller coaster. Everything was fine until we went to go eat. This is supposed to be a pizza buffet? There was only three pizzas available and the other options of food did not really look too good but the sausage and peppers looked great, but there was no sausage only peppers???????

Either it's extremely crowded or the food quality is poor. We were excited to see it wasnt busy after school but the food was dried out and cold. It must have sat there for hours. Update 3 yrs later....... this place has gotten even worse. Machines are all broken drinks and ice cream. Food is empty, there is no ice left to be dispensed and everything is a mess. see photos!!!!

3 star because the food is not what it use to be they Removed some entries from the buffet. There is only pizza and pasta and chicken nuggets

I was tired but it was my grands bday so went to Johns and yes he acted out and had my daughter ready to go. But I said no I'm going to play these games. So my youngest child and I continued, played them games and had a ball. But my grand and his mom and my youngest did get on the roller coaster and they all enjoyed it.

Johns is the kids and I favorite place to go but lately meaning in the past 6 months or so they have been having very low service. The place has been nasty with trash scattered everywhere, the pizza is good but barely coming out the utensils have been dirty, the attitudes from the staff has been terrible and lots of customers have been complaining. I have complained once and got a free entrance but I need to call management again because this pass Saturday customers were complaining about no clean plates fo

Had a blast. Pro tip. Go to Groupon and check for discounts. Saved $51 dollars per person on the 2 hours all you can eat + 2 hours play time. Be advised the deal is only for games that doesn't give tickets. Hope you can save some cash and have a blast with your family.

1st time to this location arrived at 2:06pm and it was barely any pizza out there all the cookies were gone, I don't think they ever refilled the brownie, no forks or spoons, took about 10-15mins before an attendant came to the bar (i was ready to go get a refund from waiting so long), took 20mins for a attendant to the bumper cars andni had to go find one. The room in the back to the left where you sit and eat never got cleaned it was trash n dishes on every table, we had left for hrs to play games and cam

Food trays are all empty you literally have to find a staff member to refill each item (you have to request the ones you want they are not very proactive) the games are not maintained (alot of them are just off, broken, or for example when playing air hockey, it took my credits but no puck came out. I asked staff & she said she would look to see if she could find one & never came back. Another machine took my credit, but the handle was internally broken, so it just sat there excitedly pressuring me to spin

They have a variety of food but personally I'd stick to the pizza and salad bar. Dessert section could use more variety. Fountain drinks and icees tea and coffee. The game room was big. Had a roller coaster , mini golf course and bumper cars along with many games. Bad part a lot of games didn't work or took your money. Will be back but no time soon.

We went to spend some time and wanted to have fun and enjoy the food and games but unfortunately the experience wasn't what we expected. The floors were so dirty and sticky, the stations tables were clean but not the floors. We've been in other locations ( Montclair, Buena Park and Moreno Valley ) but this one it's the worst one.

This place is huge it have a roller coaster bumper cars and a place where you can play games it has a gang of rooms that you can have parties in even have food bars and the people that work there are very nice

It was ok. To get in, you have to go to the kiosk. Nobody helped until you looked for someone. The food is ok. Mostly empty stations, ice cream machine needs service. The eating areas need to be swept, there's food on the floor. The only thing that is good is the playing area.

Everything from play ground was fun looks good inside. but the food was cold and they just have few options from the menu the pizza was raw the Cesar salad it was going bad far away! I do recommend to go only for fun

This place was great. The main area and buffet was clean. The staff was nice and helpful. We had a group of 15 and the group package was great choice. Friday was a great time. Not overly crowded and once time was up in room, seating was available in the front area.

Either I haven't been to a kids birthday in a million years (kinda true) or this industry has stepped their game up...at least John's has anyhow. Yeehaw's to the food: I mean their pizza game is on point as is their salad and healthy gluten free, dairy free, guilt free alternatives...I mean who does that at a pizza spot...THESE guys do BIG ups!! Brought a gaggle of little's with me and they all enjoyed everything; side note never show kids the games before you eat...big surprise..they wanted to get back to

Update 02/02/24 John's Incredible Pizza is at its worse they need a new creative food team no more fried chicken no potato wedges no tacos no cheesecake the chocolate cake is old and wet worse than last year white cake is stale as always and the best part THE UTENSILS ARE NOT CLEAN bring your own forks this is disgusting!! Only thing eatable is the pizza. Last year it was great! Went back on 6/10/21 it was so GHETTO like a bunch of little animals running around dropping food all over playing with the food

Great place for the kids to eat and have fun will the adult enjoy food and drinks as well. I love it because we all get to enjoy in our own way. I recommend the Carson location.

My wife and our 2 boys had tons of fun. I recommend buying the groupon deal, and just enjoy your time. Be a kid with your kids.

The food used to be very good. It's now just for 5 year olds. If I wanted chicken nuggets & cheap pizza. This place has gone down.

The diner place is so dirty. Dishes on top of the tables. Food on the floor, sticky floors, and employees still walking thru there and not doing nothing about it. I wouldn't go back and I'll let people know that this place is dirty

Super fun, we went during lunch and it was cheaper. There was not alot of food selections since it was not busy but we were able to request pizzas we wanted to be made. Clean.

Staff is just a bunch of teenagers who really don't care about their jobs. The buffet area is filthy, and my family and i have horrible stomach aches after eating here.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet absolutely the best time ever if you wanna be able to bring in your own decorations, even your own cake!! Do it here at John?s incredible Pizza the kids have fun for hours the food is analyst I will definitely be back. My daughter loves it here thank you so much and to the girl in the front that day you were amazing. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, but great job on your guises management and teamwork

Really nice place for kids. If I'd come here for a birthday as a kid I'd never want to leave. Lots to do and the buffet has a lot of options. It got crowded but still there's enough room to move around easily even with a large family. Lots of parking available.

Great service, friendly staff and over all a great experience. I took the family for lunch in the middle of the week. Not too crowded. Can't wait to go again.

Attended a kids party last week with my daughter and I have to point out our hostess. Mariah was very sweet, attentive and seems to really enjoy what she does. Thank you for your time with us Mariah, and good luck with USC! You got this ????

A fantastic place to celebrate your kids birthday party and hand out with lovely family and friends. Staff is wonderful keep up great job. Will be back again my kids lots fun. Thank you.

Good place to spend time with family and friends, highly recommended, good food and good customer service

The buffet wasn't the greatest but I think it has a lot to do with it being a weekday. I feel like the prices should be adjusted for weekdays. The + was that there weren't too many people so my kids were able to enjoy the games. I feel like shakeys has a larger prize selection as well. There was also a door in the WoMens restroom that wouldn't close.

First off, my kids had fun?.despite the poor service. And that's what ls important. But I don't think we'll be going back. Almost half the games on the floor were broken. It's not possible that someone is maintaining those machines on a regular basis. We sat down and ate food. After going out to play games, we came back 3 hours later and our food trays were still there on the table. Literally every single table had trash and food trays on it. Very poorly managed facility. Maybe a different location

This place was clean. The whole staff we had interactions with were FREAKIN awesome my son's 3rd glow party was here 8/12/23 we went back 8/15/23 on his actual birthday and still the staff was awesome clean food was great sloppy Joe pizza is a must!!!!

The place was so much fun the food was mainly salad and pizza n chicken a black man employee found my bank card so happy he did I don't know his name but it wasn't the one with the dreads it was the other black man with the black nice car I'm definitely going back

This was my first time going,it was my grandsons 10th bday,& I had a great time watching all the kids run around to the many different rides & games, & the birthday party host was so polite & good with the kids??the food & dessert assortment were really tasty??and the menu changes from lunch to dinner items. Our party started at 4. I will be going again, just for the fun??

Horrible experience. This was their slow time. The place was deserted. There was more employees than customers. Spent over $500 for their bday package. Which included attitudes hostility and disrespectful staff. There were no staff on the floor to service the rides. Employees and management talked bad about their customers. Offered no help and disrespected customers. Not to mention when you pay for the party package you will not get to exhaust all your credits. They will take your money and will not provide

We had my sons 8th birthday here and we had a ball... we booked a party room and had Kevyon Smith had our host and he really made the kids day... he made animal balloons and was amazing with the games and keeping us all entertained... thanks so much Jon?s we'll see you soon...

Way better than Chucky cheese. Food was great for the kids. Has a lot of games kids could play.

I highly recommend Not coming to the establishment!!! The cleanliness of this place is extremely poor! I along with my family complain to the Management and Nothing was done !!!! This place should be closed permanently!

Went here for my little sisters birthday The kids love it here, the food was fantastic! The only complaint i have is looking for staff to open up rides or bumper car. But we will be back! (Those bread sticks were amazing!!!!!!!)

The food is MID at best. No massage chairs to relax in like at Urban Air or Sky Zone for the parents.

This place was awesome. Has a different ride than their Buena park location. It's a roller coaster. Place is clean, food great and for the month of august kids enter and eat unlimited for 2.99! For two kids, each having a 25 dollar fun card (which included two free 2 rides) and my adult admission I paid 76 dollars to be exact. The kids played for two hours and ate several times. They had a great time!

???????????? It was a great time to eat, game, and Ride ??

Great place friendly customer service and the food was good along with the entertainment ! Great spot for kids and adults

Ice cream area was ??. Tables were and needed a little maintenance. Seemed like the manager but he was going up and down maintaining a lot of areas and employees not to much. Games were good , 1/5 not working.

Don't waste your time or money on this joke of a place! I paid almost $100 for two tickets that was supposed to include unlimited buffet, drinks, rides, and $20 game card. My daughter has many food allergies and chronic celiac disease (severe wheat allergy). We specifically went there because of her allergies and their site lead us to believe that many choices were available to those with food allergies which is why we chose it in the first place. However, the only gluten free item offered was gluten free p

Great place to be for kids and adults ?? lots of fun. Believe me bring urself with ur kids all you can eat play with ur kids then eat. Clean place ?? respectful managers and Employees.

I had never been here before but decided to throw my daughters 4th bday party here last minute. I'd definitely do it again. 10 guest , full buffet and cards for games under 250!! Food was good, fresh and clean. We got there at noon and it was so chill. Crowds started arriving round 230pm. We left at 330pm and it was full at that time. I'd recommend the earlier the better.

What a treat for children and adults! Affordable, fun and delicious, a must we LOVED it!

This johns is bigger than the one in Carson and much cleaner food was good but I got there a lil late so obviously a lil dry but good

The food is very good ..the games are a bit on the sack side some of the games don't work or are off they need maintenance

It's a kids and family fun zone. All you can eat for a minimal price. Lots of games and rides for the kids.

It's good for the games, but the food and table service were terrible. Took my kids because of the school vouchers, I would not go back on my own dime.

Not too bad. A handful of games were not working. The food was decent. The silverware could be cleaner. However, everyone enjoyed themselves. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I think it's worth the drive to either Anaheim or Montclair. This place is so dirty. All tables are full of dirty plates. No employees are cleaning. Most of the food trays are empty. You are stuck eating whatever you might find. Had to wait 20 min for them to bring clean plates and spoons. Recommendation to the owner of this place. Hire all new management, as the management now is unable to do their job or just doesn't care.

The food is a 6/10 the soda fountain was water instead of soda! The ice cream machine all dirty with cones they need to pay more attention

Staff, super helpful - food areas were pretty clean considering there are children everywhere, overall nice experience.

It's nice big and clean has different theme rooms to eat in my kiddos like the sports room and the play area is nice

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
