It's always such a fun place to take the kids! Their salad bar is loaded as well as their pizza choices, not to mention their dessert options plus some alcohol options for us parents to unwind as well as tv screens to watch the games. The arcade games are all fun to play, and the rides are also a must do. I always keep coming back for more family fun!
Loved it, two rooms to play games. They have bumper carts and multiple ride kids can get on, bowling and even glow in the dark golfing. The food is very limited and I would definitely recommend eating before you get their or after.
This place sucks!!!! If I could give a zero I would super extra charge on food and drinks even with coupon. They take forever to attend the rides! And worst attitude ever! What happened to customer service??? Don't spend your money or time here!!! Ohhh and forgot to add their ice cream machine doesn't work!
Place was filthy. Waited almost 2 hours and the food was never refilled. Food bars were trashed and nothing restocked. My granddaughter did have fun playing games, but went home hungry. You would think in the 2 plus hours that we were there, that they could cook some chicken strips and pizza. They definitely need more employees when the place is busy.
This place is 100? better than ChuckECheese. Must visit! Food, drinks and desserts were great! It's definitely worth it!!!!
Nice place to hang on with friends and children?. specially with children. Lots of food and beverages to choose from. Children love the games at the arcade, and of course their food? which is mostly intended for kids. Ambience is cozy specially the rooms with a unique theme on them. If you need a place with the children on a Sunday and don't want to be under the sun?. well, this is one place to go.
Buffet is great. Loved the pesto pizza. Salad bar is pretty good. Rides and arcade have plenty of options. Really enjoyed it thanks.
Good place to go with the family if you have nothing to do or your board. Pay entrance fee includes buffet. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed ?? in the arcade areas just in the eating rooms. They have birthday party areas. Some what pricey because the food is not all great, and it's hard to even get food when there's a lot of people. I did not like there breaded chicken ??. I did they the mash potatoes and gravy that was good and the bread sticks were also good. The pizza wasn't that bad. The pasta was no
We went for a birthday party and the kids had fun. Many games have issues taking credits but not allowing the play, or malfunctioning games. The beer, which was not cheap, tasted like soap.
It was an hour and a half drive but worth it. For my husband and me, our 10 year old and 4 year old It came to just over $200. All you can eat pizza, pasta, salad, dessert and drinks, including icees and the pizza was amazing. They must of had at least 15 different kinds of pizza and they were all amazing. The games gave a decent amount of tickets. We eat had our own game card with 3 rides and 160 credits for games on each. They kids loved it. Overall it was a lot of fun, good value and well worth the driv
They have definitely changed it up since the last time I had been in 2007, it's 2022 now. It's very spacious. Has many things to do. My kids really enjoyed themselves. Honestly they didn't even want to leave. I was so happy they had a veggie lover pizza. You have enter you the regular line or if you a guest of a party you can got through the party line door.
Although the food was delicious their weren't many options in the fruit section however the dining rooms still remain the same. I will say that it was rather empty to say the least and as far as games go their weren't many in my opinion and if their was one that I liked the remote would be busted or it would be out of order. So I would recommend this place to those that just want to dine out with friends or family.
I visited this place this Sunday. Let me tell you, it was a mixed bag of experiences. Most of the games were either broken and deducted your credits, or they required you to swipe your card twice. I was about to play one of the games and spent credits on it, only to find that it didn't even matter or work. And don't even get me started on the tickets system! We received 260 credits and a balloon for 100 tickets. It's a complete scam!
When we first got there, there were literally no clean tables, no silverware, and most of the pizza was not available and in its place were cardboard pictures of pizza, salad dressings were watered down and slushy machines not working, most games and rides were out of order but still charged my fun card. John's Incredible was incredibly disappointing.
I have been to multiple locations, the Newark CA location before they closed, the Fresno location, and now the Bakersfield location. Bakersfield was the cleanest one I ever seen. They are ran by awesome managers and the staff is on point. I would take the drive to go to this one again.
Tables were filthy. There were plenty of staff members working to be able to have that place clean. I'm in town visiting and decided to take my kids for some fun. I will say that the estaml
The food was okay but the best thing of all is the kids had a great time. Couldn't believe how big it was when you got in there and how many toys and games there was. Truly incredible place to have fun.
If i could give zero stars i would. For starters. There was no pizza other than one garlic pizza for a good while. The marinara sauce for the pasta was spoiled u could even smell how sour it was. Overall food options were bad. The seating area had 2 tables available the rest were dirty. I had to call someone to get them cleaned up. Girl in the front looked clueless and said idk who to call... and most games werent functional. Like what happened??? I remember Johns being the go to place... this sucked!. $2
Great experience! They kept a clean, organized, and family orientated environment along with excellent customer service. Will definitely come back again.
First time visiting and our family loved it. The food was surprisingly good. We went during the week, so it was not busy. We had a great time and loved the variety in games and rides for our toddler.
I dont know where to start, I had a coupon available that was scanned and use for one time use kids had unlimited rides for o e hour for up yo 4 kids. It was never brought up any further details. The young lady up front knew that. Food is great and fresh and the spicy peanut butter pizza was interesting ?? The game card starts for the timer the moment you use it and it is frustrating when the low amount t of available staff to actually be available for the rides is complicated. My first interaction was with
John?s Incredible Pizza is a great place and it's a full day entertainment place. This place also have enough space to accommodate parties, get togethers etc. they have Monday to Friday and weekend prices for entry. Once you enter the food is completely free and they do have good vegetarian food options. Fun is endless they gave lots and lots of play areas and different kind of entertaining games. They have small train rides, merry go round many more.. Great place for kids with lots of food, play and fun
Had my sons party here and our experience was great. We had a host didn't catch her name but she was very attentive. Johnathan was great as well very informative and helpful and helps with a smile on a crazy day.
I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the supervisor at this place. My children got a student of the month teacher?s choice award certificate for John?s Incredible Pizza and it so happened that my 8 years old daughter & my son brought it to me and we decided today Tuesday December 31st would be the only day to take them since they're not In school and work isn't conflicting. Called to inform them that I did see at the bottom it's expired yesterday December 30th. How much more mean can u be to say no
Ten of us showed up plus two under two. I had a few guests that I ended up telling to not bother coming due to the fire hazard of a space that was given to us. I should?ve walked out upon entering. You pay for ten guests no matter what. There should be pictures of the rented spaces. The rate of pay versus how much space given when booking online(they can manipulate the size with dividers). My hallway is larger than the room provided. With considering the seated guests, gifts, and overall set up of th
I hate to say this but the place was disgusting. The floors the surroundings around the food. The bathrooms. The worst was the ice cream machine. I will probably never go back. And that's a shame the food is still good.
This place is pretty big. Love the golf but some of the games were broken or needed repair. The buffet is unrealistic because it was not busy and they wanted us to wait 45mins at a table with a 2yr old.
It was fun. I drove from Van Nuys to here as my great neice had her 1st birthday. The arcade was awesome. The buffet was ok
I really enjoy coming here for more than a family gathering and fun entertainment. They also have a take out option too. Inside the establishment is a order to go pizza company called Boss pizza. Try it asap! highly recommended
Great place for the kids and adults. Food is always on point.
Fairly older a lot of the items don't work or response. But overall good time with young kids. The food is really good.
My daughter and I and my husband always fun love the food. It is a great service friendly and family event
They need more food QA.The variety of pizzas was not offered on this evening. There was a lack of keeping popular foods stocked. The kids enjoyed the rides and games.
Nice place to have your kids have fun. The food was good, the chicken was kinda dry for me though. Overall we had a great time here. We will be back for sure.
Very friendly, mostly clean for how big it is. The only problem I had was I went on a Saturday night it was fairly busy, outside was hot I'm in Bakersfield and inside was noo better my family and I found ourselves kinda of rushing to get out to the games area where it was more fresh air I understand there is alot of people and it's a big building however it was really hot the people around us were fanning each other as they were eating. Aside from that it was awesome, lots of games to choose from and the pr
$250 bucks for full fun card and 3 rides for 4 people plus full buffet. Food was actually really good and service was good. I give this a 3 stars because most of the games were partially broken or completely. Laser tag you couldn't see the lines so it was pointless. Lost credits on that. Transformer game one gun didn't work, so couldn't play against each other. Lost credits. Basketball glow neither worked all the balls were in the basket and it took our credits. The motorcycle game the one on the right woul
Haven't been here n years and the upgrades look good both adult and kids friendly
Surprisingly great food from an entertainment place like this. The pizza buffet has great options, with so much more than pizza. The pizza is not mediocre and has great flavor. I urge everyone to try the cinnamon rolls as they are amazing. It's impossible to overlook the great game options, like the 4 way pacman game!
John's has been around since I was a wee lad. If I were reviewing as a child, I'm sure it would be highly rated. You walk in and are greeted by warm smiles. If you're lucky, you'll be helped by an enthusiastic and cheerful Emma. I was trying to use gift cards and ran into some errors, but after some help from her supervisor, we got it resolved. I remember the unusual pizza combinations as a kid, and I'm kind of glad they are only made by request now, I mean, come on, peanut butter?? Lol. So they have a hug
Pizza was ok, salad bar was great and the games were fun
Too expensive and the service was terrible. They never had any pizza out on buffet and the ones they did have did not taste good.
Kinda sad the rides operate with 1 person on it money oranited go figure rides should allow 1 parent or sibling on ride
Great for the kids and to make friends. Is pricey but still makes people happy.
The pizza was good also the meatball soup arcade it's a really big place looks really fun for kids I recommend it
Pizza is good is just that to earn points for kids prices are hard to get.. or they ask for a huge amount of points for something small... workers are nice, place is clean. Mt kids love here but they get upset because most of the time they left with a little tiny plastic toy haha.
Great family fun! Mini golf, bowling, laser tag, bumper cars plus other fun rides. So many great arcade game. It was clean and the food was fresh can't complain about a great afternoon or evening.
The restaurant was clean and well kept. The food was yummy. The selection was great. Some of the machines were out of order. Most machines worked well and are perfect for kids of all ages. Plenty of seating for families. All the soda machines worked and we're stocked. Plenty of parking.
Fun great time party room was awesome had a host to help with everything thanx guy cant wait till next time
Great to see John's is open again. I missed playing and eating here. Their buffet here is open and as far as I can see everything is still being served. The food is good as before. It's really full since they opened, the only draw back is. They don't have all of the arcade machines out. They have some good ones. My favorite ones that I make a lot of tickets were not out. But I did manage to score over 1500 in tickets in one afternoon. So it's still good if you know what machines are the good ones. Over all
A bit pricy and a little run down, but it is a family friendly place and you get all the pizza you can eat. The food is mid tier, buffet style quality, but you can't really complain at an all you can eat restaurant. Wouldn't go by myself, or even on a date, but I'd take the family here when they visit, or with a group of friends.
I went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. After we finished we developed a appetite. Just as I was about to eat I found a roach at the food bar. I notified the management immediately. The manager killed the roach didn't seemed concerned. They left the bar as is and allowed other customer to continue grabbing food from the bar. I the customers not to eat because I had found the roach and asked for my refund immediately. I dont recommend this place until everything is sanitized.
Pizza that was out was hard as cardboard. The spaghetti noodles and fettuccine noodles were hard. The sauces were disgusting. Stations were not clean at all. For what you charge your buffet should be SUPREME!!! won't go back.
Food is horrible I found a hair in my pizza. The ice cream machine sucks, the ice shoots out and makes a mess.
My granddaughter and daughter went to John's last month and saw cocaroachs on the drink glasses they told a worker not sure what was done . But this needs addressed
It had been a while but the food has gone way down hill. I would not recommend spending ur money on this.
Had a great time with the family! The food was fresh and really good! We had a blast!
The food was good and the prices overall were okay. A lot of the games could use some maintenance. A lot of wear and tear or completely not working. It was not too crowded and overall we had a decent time. Solid 3 star experience.
A great place to take your kids and family you will have lots of fun plus you can go early I need twice I like it because you stay there you could stay there all day
Second time coming back! Nick was professional! Polite, clean,on time. Thank you
They charge $16 for adult and $11 for kid for the buffet the buffet is a junk food buffet and I am a healthy eater, I will never get back to that place, I recommend Bulevard, Chuck E Cheese and flight fit n fun if you want to spend a good time with your kids and friends
It was fun but the food was not fresh enough to eat.
Good place for grown children. My son turn 15 so this place was perfect to celebrate his b-day. They've lots of games to enjoy. The buffet was good plenty of food choices . The place was clean and staff is very nice.
I love this place. The twister and bumper carts were amazing. The only problem i kinda have is the party rooms are kinda bland. It has a tv which is nice! The buffet is amazing. Healthy, vegan options are there and foods kids could want are available. Although, i haven't been here that much it's a nice place.
It was good the main bathroom in the front had throw up in the man's but the ladies was good
This place is disgusting. Pizza is fine for what it is but, it's not worth 20 bucks to eat here considering they only air condition half of the building which is the louder section where the games/amusement are is. The dining room was a sauna. Sweat was dripping from all of our faces. It stunk like BO. The carpet and tile floor are utterly atrocious, lots of food on the floor. The busboy just left the trash can right in the middle of the dining room, tons of messy tables sitting for too long. Every game in
The buffet was clean, and the food was good. The price to enter has always been a little higher than other places but the food is actually good quality and unlimited, so it's worth it. Okay, but for a place called ?John?s INCREDIBLE pizza? they had the most normal pizza options ever. They used to have some wacky flavors like spicy peanut butter. Perhaps it's ~sometimes~ available but i was there on a Monday in summer from 4-6pm and never once saw any specialty pizzas, just default options like pepperoni or
Johns incredible has been part of bakersfield as long as I can remember my parents use to take me here back when skate land was next doors and they had go karts but now I take my kids and my kids always have a good time, prices are fair , they're pizza is alright , sometimes they're on top of it sometimes they're not but if I could change something it'd be carpet clean their carpets maybe a cleaner environment and fix they're games if not upgrade them but overall good fun experience
I had so much fun with my sister and her friends. This place reminds me of my childhood and I would highly recommend if your looking for someplace retro. Bumper cars were the best 10/10 staff was funny
A lot of the machines ate the credits lol but other than that we had a blast. Employees were so dang kind. That's why we keep coming back.
My favorite pizza buffet. Great for kid's parties.
Celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday here. Our assigned host was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were well attended. There is a 1-hour limit to the party rooms, but you can book more time for an additional fee, there is also unlimited access to the food bar and you can choose from different packages that include payment for guests and or game cards. I recommend this place as an alternative for birthday party's. You don't have a mess to clean up and your guests get to have fun and ea
Yesterday on Thursday 26th 2024.. my family and I were having a great time and I noticed that some employees have been watching us getting pizza we felt so uncomfortable the manager or supervisor standing there eyeballing us. Those who work at John incredible Pizza you all have a bad behavior the way you act towards people you should be ashamed of yourselves ?? and the food was not even cooked right the chicken on the pizza it's not even done the chicken was uncooked .. the counters the floors and where the
We just went yesterday June 27 at the Bakersfield location and I would not recommend it. I'm not exaggerating 75% of the games either didn't work, poorly worked or had extremely short turns. The sights on the shooting games were not accurate. And many games required multi players and every player had to swipe credits, even the 4 person air hockey which all together to play would be 24 credits and if there were not enough players it would still take your credits without letting you to play. And if you want a
Not a fan of this location. The buffet was mostly empty maybe 4 pizzas although they have room for 15. It was early dinner time but that hadn't prepared enough food. There were lots of customers so not quite sure how they calculate bringing out food. We were a party of 9 and were in the dining room almost an HR and no one ever came to pick up our tables. The variety is also lacking in comparison to other locations we have visited. We will probably not visit this location again.
Family friendly, variety of choices in the food made everyone happy. We had problems with several of the games not working but taking credits, which is the reason for only 4 stars
Nice place! My little cousins birthday was held here and it's got a really neat layout with lots of games and some rides. The pizza isn't great but it's not terrible.
A lot of fun games and rides for my little one only complaint is the food variety but other then that the pizza was good
Great place for kids, can have a beer and watch a sports game too. They have added glow golf and mini bowling. Lot of fun, safe, food good for kids, nice salad for adults, soup is OK,
It was super packed, and in the open dining room by the games, there were about 10 birthday parties going on and extremely loud. I didn't mind it much because I love their fried chicken, and once we are there, I FIND OUT THAT THEY DONT HAVE FRIED CHICKEN IN THE MENU ANYMORE!!!!! That was the last time we go for sure.
Took the kids, they love the games. I liked their salad bar. The food is ok but the smiles it brought my kids is priceless.
Always come here for family celebrations, particularly birthday parties. Today was my mom's birthday so just the 6 of us went for a small b'day dinner. It was fun and we enjoyed the food as well as the games. Definitely a night my kids will always remember and I'll cherish the rest of my life. Thank You J.I.P for the great memories my family has made there for decades and for the ones we will make in the years to come. Definitely worth a perfect score 5 out of 5 for sure! ??
We had so much fun! Come here with an appetite. I didn't have high expectations. It was pricey though. $86 for 2 adults, 5 year old and games. I honestly just came to stuff my face and entertain the kids and that was a success. The pizzas were tasty. I love the variety. They kept running out of ranch though. The place probably needed a deep sanitation but who cares, the kids had a blast. I was fed, YAY. The end :)
Great place to come eat with the family ??. I would recommend it to anyone who has kids to come here and enjoy the best time and eat all u can eat pizza ??. Great service and always clean. I will always come back.
The food was good, the staff was friendly, and my daughter loved the rides, which was good because there were A LOT of broken machines (some would take credits from our card and simply do nothing, some were out of service, and others were literally broken). The toddler play area was really nothing more than a little fenced off area in the corner with a little playhouse and slide, but it also had a pipe coming out of the wall that had been taped over so kids wouldn't bust their heads open?.. the kids all sti
Great place to take the kids, lots of games and great food, we had a party room which was very nice. Place is pretty crowded but worth it
Lots of stuff to do for kids and adults but very pricey. The pizza was yummy, fresh and hot.The salad was fresh with lots of toppings but the salad dressings were nasty. And about 20 minutes before they closed they turned off all the drink machines. We wanted to get something to drink after we got out of the game rooms because we were thirsty and couldn't take our drinks in there. But everything was turned off. No Bueno
good for lunch during weekdays. Manage your expectations, this is not fine dinning but a kids playground. If you accept that, you can get a decent food buffet for a fair price.
Pizza is very delicious! Their Chicken nuggets are a must!!Tip:This place is busy in EID! 5 Stars!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
