Awesome place for Glendive they are Lucky to have it too. And even get your storage needs meet there too.

We've bought two birthday packages from them. The first, nobody ever knew they didn't have axe throwing anymore, I will take the hit on that one. However, that night, we talked to everyone we knew and people we didn't, they had no idea they didn't have axe throwing anymore. The damn owners told us it was on their website they didn't have it anymore. 3 months later, it's still on their their stupid phone system. Joe and Dee?s told us everyone knew and it was in their website that they were moving towards par

My first time bowling there, not bad for old lanes, the biggest downfall is you definitely got to watch your step, you will trip if not paying attention.

Go place to bowl watch movie and even have a socal drink

Super fun place to go to get the family out of the house. considering it's the ONLY place to go in Glendive, unless u go to a boring museum or the grocery store... ?? kinda pricey for food /drink. But what movie theater /bowling alley isn't

Joe and Dee's is a great place to go. Whether is the movies or bowling. The theater is clean and comfy (love the seats, plenty of room). Had fun bowling with friends and enjoyed the food they served.

Great place for all kinds of entertainment! Joe & Dee are great and one of the only places I know of that still show The Rocky Horror Picture Show and let you participate as an audience! (Of course we had to our own cleanup)

One of the few places for entertainment in Glendive! Clean place, definarley something for the whole family. From drinks in the bar for adults with a pool table and a little variety of gambling machines. to the kids arcade games and claw machines.. as well as a movie theater with some snacks and if throwing bowling balls isn't your thing,, you can go hurl some axes!

nice little place! been here a couple times to bowl- the young man at the front desk is always friendly, quick with everything and has a great attitude. thank you! will be back.

Perfect fit for the town. Joe is super friendly. Theater was clean, sound was good, but the screen was just a shade too dark. Look forward to my next visit.

It's a great time, doesn't matter if your at the arcade, watching a movie, bowling, or throwing axes! Plus it's a bonus you can take your drinks anywhere from the bar!

In town from ND and found this spot - threw axes with my daughter and had a blast! Reasonably priced and clean facility. Thank you!

Not what we expected but it was fun for a small town. Owner was great and super helpful. You can see a movie, bowl, play games, and eat!

Always friendly staff, and fun environment. Movies bowling,bar/casino, game room, and axe throwing

This place has a great atmosphere. There is bowling, movies, games, and axe throwing. I have always enjoyed my visits here

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible place to watch movies, people was rude and it was super expensive. Cost us 50 dollars for 3 adults and one student, plus three sodas. Never going back again. ): plus no senior discount

Always a good time! New axe throwing was awesome! Really liked all the updates... Haven't been in awhile.

Fun place for everyone esp. for family. There is something for all ages to do. This has been a family run business and the same family has owned it as long as I can remember.(I'm 63)

Pretty good spot for a small town bowling alley. Only one theather, but better than none! Wish they advertised their movies a bit better.

Great family bowling

Had fun bowling with family- this place holds a lot of memories.

Fun night of bowling with extended family. Only one employee, so concessions took longer than expected. We will go again.

Spare Parts is worth the change! Funny, realistic and powerful. Even met the wife of the hero of the story. Go see Spare Parts this weekend. Jan 24-25.

It was horrible The ceiling in the theater leaked on our food then we asked for a refund and they refused to refund The guy was a jerk and the girl was eating popcorn out of holder while serving customers They served a lady beer who stumbled around saying how drunk she was and then the lady went outside with a bottle of beer breaking the open container law in montana Place is a law suite waiting to happen Will never go back

The place to be! Bowling, movies, mini storage, casino, and more! Friendly family environment! Locally owned with cheap prices

Great family friendly environment. Bowling, movie theater, and upstairs bar all in one place!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
