Reviews Summary

The consensus is mixed, with many negative reviews criticizing the claw machines as scams with weak grips and unfair settings, making it nearly impossible to win. Complaints include wasted money, broken machines, and lack of staff assistance. However, some positive reviews highlight the fun atmosphere, cute plushies, and occasional wins, noting that patience and targeting larger prizes can pay off. The venue is polarizing—seen as either a frustrating scam or an entertaining, albeit expensive, experience.

Customer Reviews

Really cute plushie varieties! Card only for the token machine, and each claw machine costs one token (a little less than $1 depending on how many you buy). Personally I think the larger plushies are much easier to win than the mini ones, so I went for those and won 2 with $20. Is it expensive? Yes, but entertaining and definitely possible to win. Just be patient as the claw machines are programmed to have a strong grip once every few plays. If you want a guaranteed win, they have gachapon as well, but tho

Very cute place! There are only a few claw machines but the vibes are welcoming! Unfortunately I couldn't win anything ?? I still had fun though!

I should have listened to the other reviews where they say stay away, waste of money. My review and recommendation: stay away, waste of money. Absolutely nothing to be won and the pay for stuff is ridiculously expensive; the Gumball machine prize that is valued at $ 0.10 is $5. It's definitely for tourists, money grab for the owners.

Spent $10, claws don't even close on the plushies and are very loose. Stay away! Should of read reviews before purchasing. 0 ?

Won a bunch of cute prizes! Didn't need to spend too much money and some machines have guaranteed prizes. Super fun :D

This claw machine location was very disappointing. We tried multiple machines and it was evident that the settings on the machines are so weak that it wouldn't even lift the items. We won't be coming back.

Interesting spot but might need more variety of stuffs

Please don't wast your money here it is complete scam and they make it very hard for you to win anything

S C A M. I mean... I knew it would be but sometimes you can win a claw machine right? Well I'd bet serious money no one has ever walked out of here with a prize. It's literally just a room of claw machines.

Extremely fun! Glad that there's a place like this in Chinatown. Awesome toy selections for a claw machine venue.

my family came to here when they open, we love the cute production ?We like the comfortable environment here and I will come again

Place is a scam. Machine ate tokens without giving plays and machine also shuts off randomly with no replay. No staff in the store to fix the issue.

Really cute set up and prizes

The claws are too weak to grab and hold anything. Do not waste your money here. Don't do it!

Do not spend money here. The machines are calibrated to drop items before you ever have a chance to win.

Terrible, have never seen someone win money here

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
