The Tiberbeast Burger is pretty much what you'd expect from a standard burger. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out either. The burger is topped with their "famous" beer cheese, which, unfortunately, didn't live up to the hype. It had a noticeable bitter taste and was quite curdled, giving it a grainy texture. I've been Wing Wednesday at JD's twice now and I have mixed feelings It's supposed to be $1 per traditional wing but my partner and I both got a 10 piece and three beers between the two of us and we ended up being charged $60??? Very confused. It just definitely isn't worth $60 for bar food. Maybe we were incorrectly charged but we couldn't get the servers attention to get a receipt. Not the end of the world but not worth it

The food may look good in the pictures but it was awful it took forever to get our food and it was cold! The margaritas were good. The waitress basically ignored us. The kids cups were actually just coffee cups. Worst place ever!

We had Nikita as our server today and she was phenomenal! She was alone handling a crowd and worked the room like a pro! Our cups were never empty and we didn't wait long for her to check on us! Great experience!

Went here for my birthday, Abel made it super fun and enjoyable. Would 100% recommend, especially if Abel if working. 10/10

I am seriously impressed! I am from Kansas City and have relatives living in Altus. It is one of the best restaurants in the city. I hope they consider building one in Kansas City!

JD's Hideaway is so much fun. I've never been axe throwing before. The Axeman drink was absolutely delicious as well as the mozeralla sticks. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a great time!

The burgers and fries are tasty. The pool tables are such a nice touch! They have other games to play, such as shuffleboard.

JDs has the best hot wings around. The best ones are the Ghost Pepper & the Carolina Reaper. The staff is awesome. If you're looking for some good hot wings, JDs is the place to go.

Food was fine. The waitress never came back to check. I had to go get her to get a to go box and our checks. Service is bad. You shouldn't have to go find the waitress. She put the checks in front of me, she didn't bring them over.

It was a relaxed atmosphere. We had nachos and a couple beers. They have breakfast items on the weekend.

Ordered delivery for lunch on a Sunday. Gyro was really good, full of meat. Hamburger was good but they forgot the pickles. Not a big deal. The fries & wood chips were over cooked/burned/maybe fried in old oil. The wood chips were not edible. The club sandwich bread was soaked in butter, not in a good way. The pretzel sticks were hard. The kids wouldn't even eat them. Most of the food went in the trash. Not sure if it was an off day, new cook, or what but wasn't good overall and probably won't try again.

It was neat to try out a new place with my wife for sure. The atmosphere was pretty interesting. The food was tasty (but the burger was quite dry and we had to wait for an hour for the food). We had a friend at the restaurant who told us it was the first time she had to wait so long as well. I'm sure we will be back.

Visiting family for Thanksgiving, and stopped by JD?s the night before. Looks to be a neat place, and plenty of space to hold large gatherings. Food was very tasty and we especially liked the fish tacos. French dip was great as well. When in Altus make time to visit!

Our food and service was exceptional here! The cheese curds and the staff never disappoint, if i could rate this 6 stars, I would!! Best place in town. Jessica was our server and we could tell she really cared about promoting a positive atmosphere and prompt service. The manager was every disrespect. She was very loud and rude with use when she was trying to hustle us by trying to charge me for a large party on my ticket and did the same to my sister on her ticket. When she had realized we wasn't as stupid as she thought we was. She apologized and had the large party charge took off my ticket. The food was absolutely perfect, after a long day at work the burger hit my tastebuds in the right spot. Also our server Bekah was amazing give that girl a raise!!

This was our first visit and we enjoyed the ambiance. The music and sound system was awesome! I took advantage of the Bloody Mary bar!! Eating breakfast out was a treat and we will be back to try the burgers or gyros or the fish tacos! So many choices.

Shout out to the waitress I had, Cass, she was really good and definitely deserves a shout out. My table was a little crazy. Got together with some old friends and brought her into our shenanigans. We ordered takeout from here 3/25/22 and Meredith assisted us. She was SO helpful and went above and beyond. We had forgotten to order an appetizer, and she went ahead and let us order it on the spot and had it out very promptly (despite it being an extremely busy Friday night), as well as went to the back for a side of ranch when asked. I was impressed by the service, and then on top of that the food was delicious! 5 stars for sure! Altus is lucky to have this place.

The first night I tried, the kitchen closed 2 hrs or so before closing. The second time, I got in earlier and had a couple of drinks and a prime rib sandwich. The fries were excellent and of the fresh cut most likely double fried to get the end result (I could be wrong). The meat was good but it could have been sliced thin like it should be. There was some rather thick chunks. It was still good though. Definitely would eat there again and maybe try my hand throwing an axe!

Went to JDs as a group, due to an overbooking error everyone in the group was supposed to be charged a reduced rate??..we were all charged full price. We love this place! Buzz is the best - he is attentive and personable. He is the brawny man of the southwest - beard and all! The best choice, no doubt! Truth be told - great atmosphere, fun games and axe throwing. Good food. It's a great stop in this small town.

I've been to this restaurant twice. The employees there were very nice. But I was very disappointed in the food. The food didn't taste anything like it sounded like it on the menu. So I have to just give it a two star. I did get a drink that was very good. I really want to give this place a good rating but as far as of the food concerned, I just can't.

Walker was absolutely excellent. Our family will definitely be going back. Food was superb and alcohol drinks were even better. 10/10 out of the park for our server though. Best server our family has had our entire lives and we've been to plenty of restaurants! Ask for Walker!

This place is a really nice little gem. When we went it was a nice quiet relaxing environment with only a few people. The food, music, and staff were really good. Had a few flies in a dining area which were a little annoying. But can't count that against him for it being Oklahoma. I would definitely recommend checking it out and they also offer ax throwing, pool, and air hockey.

Came here during a week visit to Altus and had a blast. Rubi the bartender was great and kept a good conversation. The rest of the staff was great as well, if I ever find myself back this way I will For sure stop here again. The food was good and the drinks were great as well. We have been at this establishment 3 separate times. The first time the staff wasn't rude per se, but I wouldn't have called it good customer service either. I ordered a burger and added on the jalape?o and onion sticks, which cost extra. I didn't get them. I also ordered sweet potato fries, another extra charge, and they were cold and very few. My husband ordered the French dip, it was mediocre at best. We had really been wanting to try this place but won't be back. This was a to go order.

I had the Prime Rib French Dip & fries...good flavor, bit too much fat on the prime rib however it tasted yummy. Fries a tad greasy/oily but I'd definitely return....if someone else invites me and they cover the bill. Loved our server. More then just a server Very friendly and funny. Kept us entertained She really loves her job. She's the ax thrower expert. Our food was fast and excellent. Thay prime rib sandwhich was tender and juicy. The au jus was a bit salty even for me the salt queen but everything was great Loves the beer battered fries. We all loved it. We've been to JD's Hideaway three times since they opened last summer. The first time service was a bit rocky. We then went to JD's before a Mavs Hockey Game just for aps and drinks. Last week we had dinner followed by axe throwing. Overall a great experience, axe throwing is a lot of fun, the service was great and food was good.

I ordered two charcuterie boards. Extra meat on one. Extra cheese on the other. What happened to the differ types of meat and cheese. Meat seemed like just one type. Cheese was just two types. Cheddar and the other didn't have much taste. $42 for a generic product. I wouldn't recommend ordering any from them. I won't order again.

We got the double meat burger, egg burger, regular burger, splinter sticks and chips with beer cheese. Every item we ordered was amazing. This is the best thing to happen in Altus in years. The restaurant is clean, with pool tables, axe throwing, shuffleboard, darts and air hockey. This is our new go to favorite. Hopefully the other restaurants take notice and update their places and menus or everyone will be here!

I really didn't appreciate that the bartender came out the bathroom without washing her hands and then fist pump everyone at the bar also told the server and she just smiled at me like it was no big deal like .I'm not going back also the drinks were weak period.

Had a great birthday lunch for two of Altus' most admired men. Sixteen of us. Food was superb. Service was beyond excellent. Our waitress took care of each individual and didn't miss a beat. Super fun lunch.

This place has hand made burgers that even this 6' 3" 300 pound dude could not eat completely. However we were only one of two tables during off hours being served. Had to request my beer twice over near 15-30 minutes. Other than that nice clean and fast seating.

I had a gyro, but replaced the lamb with chicken. They were happy to oblige, and it was DELICIOUS. Holy cow- and their beer-battered fries were incredible; I almost ordered a second plate! Definitely one of the best places to eat in Altus

Decided to come visit since we lived in walking distance. Craveable bar food, great drinks, alchoholic and not, delicious deserts and axe throwing! It was very affordable and the customer service was amazing. We were served by the general manager and she was extremely friendly and made it an all and all awesome experience! We will be back very soon!

I had such an amazing experience!! The environment and service was phenomenal. Our particular server, Jessica went above and beyond. You can tell she is very passionate about her job and making sure her customers are well taken care of.

If you get Victoria as your waitress, ask for someone else. Absolute worst service I've seen, and she short-changed me to ensure she got tipped. That said, food and environment is great and bar selection is decent. I'll try again with any other server.

I love it when I come to JD's. The food is great. The staff always greet you with a smile. And the waitresses or servers are wonderful. _You have just got to try the food. Everything just melts, every piece, in your mouth.

Place is ok they have a good drink selection. Staff could use work as well as wait times and the prices are way to high for the quality of food they are putting out as well as the wait times. its on average 45 mins to and hour, a pretty long time before you get your food. Axe throwing is fun but expensive.

My patty melt on sour dough was a patty with cheese on regular toast no grilled onion no sourdough bread ??? My husband got prime rib French dip which and sweet potatoes fries the rib was very dry the dip was just broth more than French dip sauce and he got less than a handful of sweet potato fries... it was over priced the food definitely was worth 32 $ that for sure but the waitress was friendly

Great atmosphere. Clean place and friendly staff. However, majority of the food is way over cooked. The wood chips appetizer was just burnt potato chips. We all had chicken of some sort or other and the chicken was very dry and overcooked.

The service is terrible here. It's either extremely slow service, even if your the only customer in there, or they have an attitude while serving you.. the food would be more worth it, if the servers were treating customers better.

The food at JDs is great, they hosted a packed event this weekend and the GM Kaylee is AMAZING!! She went above and beyond and made our experience one of a kind in terms of customer service!! Highly recommend

Husband and I like to have a beer and dinner every now and then at JDs, and we always have a great experience. Tonight was a bit different, in a good way! We realized they had some new faces working, which we didn't think anything of it. Terrible food was cold drinks served 1 at a time. And the Dr pepper never got served after 30 minutes Brandy went and got the guys their soda. Food came out after an hour and the steaks were cold don't know how long they sat there before serving them. We had a table or 7. After a 14 hour day at work got there at 8 stayed til 930 not once did they come to refill our drink. I went to the bar 2x asking for another bud light bottle.that font take 15 to 20 minutes. Didn't get to through axes either.

Great food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Great local ties to the community. We experienced the Oklahoma Sports Network Altus Football show last night. One of our favorite places to eat.

Pricey and the burger I ordered was no better than any other burger around here. Buns were falling apart as I ate, they seemed a bit dry. Cheese Kurt's were great, but maybe because I didn't pay for them. On the same level as Vals curds.

For Altus, this place has about the best bar style food around. Been twice now and both times the servers were friendly and the food was good for what youd expect from this type of venue, definitely going to be a regular place I go when in town.

We went to JD's for a friend's 40th birthday and what fun was axe throwing! I had never done it before! What a workout! We had lots of yummy appetizers that we shared and delicious drinks. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

JD's is one of our favorite places to eat and play in Altus! Our 4 year old loves to play while we wait for our food. The staff is always so polite and friendly. They truly have THE BEST WINGS IN TOWN!?? They have so many food choices you won't be disappointed!

We waited 45 minutes for our food to be cooked . Long wait considering they was not busy. My fries was cold and the chicken strip weren't good at all. Took most of it home fed it to my dog. He smelled it and walked away Lol. Only gave one star cause I had to in order to give a review. Needless to say that will be the last time we eat at JD's Hide away.

JD?s is the place to be in Altus. Food is very good, aesthetic is the best in town, and service is decent. Axe throwing is a must and they are very accommodating to customers. They also have a golf simulator! Best place to watch football on the weekends. What more can you ask for?

We love JDs!! Its super clean and bright and the food is good. We have been waiting for Altus to get a place that has a large draft beer selection. We have always had excellent service (shoutout to Jessica who also flawlessly serves our energetic 2 year old). Definitely a regular spot for our family.

Waitress very slow in taking order on hand-held device. Music was horrible! Not into rap--know your customers. Boneless wings were awesome.
