Customer Reviews

Lots to do, we did the arcade, not huge but there was a good amount to do. Some of them were down though and one just flat out didn't work when we used our credits but the employees were super nice and gave us the credits back and when we used our tickets to get the prizes they rounded up from 68 to 70. Bathrooms weren't the greatest but overall still a fun time. Spent $28 total for one card with 100 credits plus 10 extra bonus credits.

My son enjoyed his time there! Perfect for kids birthday party and their entertainment!

My son and I did the ropes course in laser tag. Great experience on the rides. My son and I heard that this place had good appetizers at the at the bar and Grill. We tried it and the loaded fries were amazing. we first got our lemonades and the regular lemonade was missing. The lemon in the pink lemonade was over sugary filled with strawberry pur?e at the bottom. The manager came out and said he will give us two new drinks because he couldn't take it off the bill once he brought out the drinks, they were pe

It's quite nice and kids can spend easily about 2 to 3 hrs playing. The only catch is that all rides would require charge on card that needs to be prepaid before. We been there for a birthday party and for that I would definitely recommend as rooms are big and options available for large parties too

Been here a few times, foods never great but today it took forever, came out cold and all wrong couldn't even get myself to SWALLOW the burger I bit into. Games are fun but if your actually hungry don't waist your money or time

My kids enjoyed this arcade. It is spacious, and with arcades for every age. On the second floor there are 5 rooms for birthday party, on the first floor is a cafeteria. Besides arcades, there is rope maze on height and virtual reality laser tag. The parking is huge, handicapped accessible, with elevator to the second floor.

This is one of the most cutting edge Game Center?s and both kids and adults FUN Zones! I mean they have everything, Laser Tag , Karaoke Rooms, Adventure Climbing Park, Arcade Machines and so much more!

The staff was really nice and helpful, and the attractions were fun and different. We did the virtual reality (which we would have liked a little intro to, though), the rope climbs and the laser tag. They were all really fun, although quite a workout. We both enjoyed ourselves and definitely plan on coming back.

Very cool place! Nice variety of arcade games, plus laser tag, a big ropes course, and a VR activity (didn't try). Bartender was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere in bar/ restaurant area was fun. Fries are really good, and the 2.99 drafts were a nice surprise. Will absolutely visit again soon.

A lot of the machines were broken and kept eating up my points. The games were expensive. I got a $120 card and used half of it and left from frustration. The same money goes much further at wamesit lanes. I got two ring pops for my kids at $30 each.

We came here for the dueling pianos and dinner. Honestly not sure why they have dueling pianos here. You can barely hear anything over the sound from the arcade and diners talking. The food and drinks here were also quite mediocre. And the service was very slow.

The manager Mike was extremely helpful. He helped us out when we had confusion multiple times. Also or host was prompt and helpful. I will have a birthday party here again for sure!

Our first time here and we loved it!! A lot of different games to choose from and great selection for all ages. The store to redeem the points has pretty cool options to get stuff. Definitely recommend it

BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! We had so much fun at IN THE GAME in Peabody! My sons birthday is Christmas Eve and lucky for us they were open! Our immediate family about 6 of us, LOVED the laser tag, arcade games , rope course , and virtual reality!!!!! AND The food was SO GOOD! Managers Nate and Paul went way above and beyond to make my little guys birthday extra special!!!! We will absolutely be returning soon!!!! Thankyou Nate & Paul!!!!!

I had a great time at this new location. There is a medium-sized arcade with brand new, top-of-the-line games which even includes VR. Along with the arcade games, there is laser tag, a raised obstacle course, and a wall that can be scaled while wearing a harness. The staff was great, gave me honest opinions of what was worth my money and what was not, and overall they were very accommodating. I would definitely visit this location if you're looking for a good time with friends or family.

Pricey, some days do have deals to save $. But the food is good and the kids love it.

It was an amazing experience for our family. We are visiting from Germany and celebrated our daughter's birthday there. The staff was so friendly! Nate and John went pot of their way to make sure we had a great day.

For my first time playing the game it was fun and got alot of tickets. But the burgers wasnt good and not cooked all the way. Still red inside when asked for well done. The servers was slow.

Everything about this place was pretty neat. The have mini bowling, rope adventure, wall climbing, laser tag and virtual reality. Activities are fairly priced but the machines are too pricey. Place is also small for an arcade.

A kids magnet and a money magnet on so many levels. The space and the equipment is well kept and clean.

Just left in the Game Peabody. My family and I had an incredible time. Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Bob and Denise are a dynamic team. They made our experience today unforgettable. Our son is 6 and enjoyed his time here immensely. There was a kind gentleman working in the prize center by the end of our visit, he helped us navigate some ticket questions we had and really put the cherry on top of our visit. Can't wait to come back. Also considering hosting our sons 7th birthday here in M

Fun! A bit confusing as to how to get a card, what to pay for and what to do about food. We tried laser tag and played a few games, of course we ran through the power card too fast but that's not on ITG, that's how we do!! We'll be back, maybe rock climbing next time.

This place is smaller in comparison to similar type facilities however I've attended a couple of times for birthday parties and with family at this point and we all have enjoyed ourselves each time. Clean, and good variety of games. Staff has been friendly as well!

Best place to bring young kids food and restaurant was amazing with a menu and their drinks and the waitress everything was perfect in that the day we spent at the Game

Great food!! You usually have low expectations for on food at places like this , but everyone in our party of 15 enjoyed their entrees and apps. The staff was pleasant and helpful , and the manager Brett made sure we were taken care of.

Good place to have fun with kids. The restaurant side needs more attention. Please clean the tables after guests have departed and check your utensils before wrapping them. Got two separate utensil sets. Both were dirty :(. Overall, pretty decent place to have fun. Laser tag is great ??.

Matt was a terrific waiter! Chris(bussboy and or backwaiter), kept himself busy and did a good job cleaning.

Food is good. Staff is friendly. kids love it.

We've been coming since they opened and my kid will be 9 this week. If you've never been take note -Don't go hungry. When you arrive find a table and ORDER YOUR FOOD FIRST. Then go play. You can thank me later. No, seriously, they're understaffed and you need to go in with patience and humility to enjoy the place. Everything else is perfect. Birthday parties have all been a blast too!

We went here twice during our stay to MA. Laser tag and arcade were really fun! The woman that helped us at the front desk was very patient and friendly. We had a lot of fun winning prizes and playing games at the arcade.

Pulling up to the building it seemed huge, but once entering it was broken up to basically 2 rooms and a balcony. The lower level consists of a bar/restaurant and the arcade area. They have a big ropes course that cost 10 dollars each to do and a small vr booth. The rest of the floor plan is mixed with arcade games and games to win tickets. It was advertised to have classic games but didnt. They had basketball, ski ball but were newer iterations. I was a little disappointed in how few games there actually w

My experience at the video game house was amazing! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with an impressive variety of games for all tastes and ages. The team was always available to help and ensure that everyone had a fun and safe experience. In addition, the facilities were modern and well maintained, providing the perfect setting for hours of fun. I can't wait to come back and explore more exciting games in this video game house!

Absolutely terrifying experience today. Luckily my family was not hurt but the incident was extremely mishandled by their team until authorities arrived. Beyond frustrated for their lack of care!

Came with the family for a night out. The games are certainly kid focus which is great. The staff does keep the area clean. You load cards that can be swiped to play games and points are counted towards prizes. The restaurant/bar area is nice but hard to get the game you want to watch on the TVs. The waiter was good and visited the table often. Very friendly. The food was decent. Nachos and mozzarella sticks are good choices. Pizza is decent (like national chains blah), and the hamburgers are terrible. Kitc

Visited on a Friday afternoon. Games were fun, arcade staff super nice and helpful. Arcade was pretty clean. Got drinks from the bar and the bartender was super nice. As for the seating for dining area? Awful. Asked a server if we were supposed to seat ourselves, she told me to wait at the front for someone to seat me. Waited waited and waited, the same waitress kept looking my way but never notified or made an effort to have someone take our name down or greet us. After 15 minutes of waiting a bartender si

Your illegally charging with drink prices. Charging for alcohol and separately charging for the mix. Went there yesterday spent about $300+ dollars and you want to separately charge for drink mix and alcohol when you should be charging for a whole drink .

Nate was a great host! Definitely recommend this location

Great place for kids nice for enjoy and , so much fun and good games ?? ??, kids will be so happy visiting this place.

Came for a new year celebration, left with a concussion from a falling Lego display. Thank you for the memories which we can no longer remember due to our traumatic brain injury.

The arcade and activities are amazing! There are games available for kids of all ages to play, with a friendly and safe atmosphere. The only issue is the restaurant, where they are consistently under staffed, but they do their best. The staff is always amazing but I hope they are able to lighten the load for their hard working employees. This place is great for birthday parties, social events or school events.

Pretty fun spot, would give 5 stars but the Lego stepped on me my last visit

We had my twin nephews birthday party there today and Sarah our host was so nice and helpful! Something went awry with a bullying older kid and Shea the manager was amazing at taking care of things and making sure that everyone still had a great time. She also took the time to; help us find a lost card and then figure out things after some of the kids accidentally consolidated their cards. The birthday party could have ended on a sour note and she made sure they all left happy. Such great customer service!

I was an invited guest at a birthday celebration last weekend at the location in Peabody, Ma. My son and I arrived to a full parking lot and could only imagine the chaos that would ensue inside. Once inside I was inside greeted and very politely directed to where the birthday party was being held. The place was packed and it was obvious that there were multiple parties going on. I really enjoyed watching all the kids playing games and lining up for laser tag and the rock wall, ropes, etc. I even played

1st time here and the food was great and John was amazing even though he was by himself with other tables he still found the time to go above and beyond. Then we go over to the games and got the complete opposite. Her name tag said Summer but her disposition was everything but sunny. Obviously didn't want to be there. Then we saw the inverted cross around her neck and her dim attitude made more sense. Everyone else we interacted with was really great including the manager. The Karaoke was very fun too! We'l

Not that impressed. We went on Saturday night to eat & play games. We decided we were going to eat prior to playing. We sat down immediately. We waited 15+ minutes for someone to acknowledge us or come over to us. No one did. After reviewing the menu options + no one coming over to us - we decided to just play games and not eat. We went around and were playing the games. Many of them had little to no balls to play the games. I swiped for a bowling game and the game started but the bowling ball never came o

I was there on a Friday and they r open til 12( but not really just the bar is ) all the fun shuts down at 11pm because that's when I got there. I wanted to go on at least the rope course and it was before 11:30 and I was told it was closed and I would not b able to enjoy any of the activities. However the customer service at the bar was wonderful! It was my birthday and was waiting for 2 friends that didn't show up until 11:30 and they still were able to order drinks. Before my friends arrived they sent ou

Restaurant was just okay this time. Had to hunt someone down to get silverware for our table. I understand it's busy but it's basic service and if someone checked on us they would've known we had nothing. Some of the games were not working or partially working. That's the core of your business, so ensuring all games are working should be priority 1. Still enjoy coming here with the kids, hope things don't go downhill.

In the game is a great place to grab a drink and some food, whilst letting the kid(s) run around playing video games. I'd say a minimum of 60-100$ worth of "credits" ( each game costs credits off a swipe card type system ), to keep each minor occupied for the time it will take to order and eat. Kids can burn credits really fast on VR rides, etc. So be expected to spend a few dollars. Kids do really love this place though they can earn tickets where they can trade them in for candy or other toys, electro

Definitely becoming a frequent tonIn The Game! Love this place and the vibes.

Pros: i guess the prices are what you would expect all around, food was amazing not a single person in our party had a complaint, our waitress did a great job. Cons: the game machines are all sorts of wonky: some the swipe machines didn't work; some games ate our tokens to play, and they would tell you one ticket number but the screen would show you another (for the prices of tokens you'd think they'd keep up with maintenance) the prizes for tickets are mostly for kids not many options for the "big kids"

Fun time for the kids, ropes course, virtual reality and laser tag. Has a restaurant area for the parents. Pizza was okay. The updated review: Place was empty not a horrible thing. But the service really sucked. In the game area and the wait staff in the restaurant. Food was gross. Not many options. * The best part was the dueling pianos. I would go there again just to hear them.

I have a thing for those coin machine games and I have to say they had a really really good selection of those machines! This place was so nice and clean! I definitely will continue to go with my family.

I don't usually like to write about bad experiences, but my family and I drove from an hour away for the promotion today. We like to play the throwing games (the clown game, bean bag game, and the ring toss game). We played a few times and realized each game didn't have enough items (there was only 3 balls, 4 bean bags, and about a dozen or two rings). We asked one of the floor employees if they had more items for these games. When they came over, she said that these were kids games and that kids take stuff

We had so much fun here! The kids can't wait to go back and we can't either! Virtual reality and laser tag were great, my daughter loved the ropes course, we had dinner before we left at the restaurant and they were very accommodating, server and bartender were super sweet and the the food was great! We're already looking into party packages for birthdays after our first visit!

Had a private kids party here. Booking was a breeze. Only complaint is that online it said it was booked...when i called i was able to book the party. They organized everything well making it easy for party planner. All we did after that was bring gifts and cake. The kids had a blast! Host was lovely and helpful

Susan is a amazing waitress and bartender my cup was never empty!!! She took care of everyone here even when she was by herself. I will be back thank you Susan for everything!!!!!

My son and i had a very fun time. I kept my cool because i know it's a new spot. But it really was aggravating for the most part. Lost a couple rounds in bowling, lost one round of laser tag because the gun didn't work. The point game card system isn't clear enough. The restaurant experience was great. Our waitress Alyse was awesome. She definitely helped the situation. I will definitely try it again in about a month. Hopefully they are more ready

There's nothing interesting about most of the games. After scanning the card to play it didn't work even when there was enough points. When you keep trying the game will take said points but it won't start up so you end up wasting what you have on your card. The prizes are cheap and cost way too much, especially for the stuff that's actually worth getting. The food is alright, but the pizza toppings are skimpy so after two bites it's just a cheese pizza.

Fun place! Cleaner than most similar places. MY SON loves when I bring him here. Nice rock wall and they have this 3 story obstacle course for kid's 8 years plus the age is my opinion. It's kinda of pricey. My son and I spent about $100 in about 1.5 hour's but it was worth it. FYI I play the games as well.

Fun place with really taste bad for you food. Did win many tickets but had a good time.

For the price it's just OK. Best part was the Lazer Tag. Plenty of arcade machines bugging out, the air hockey table kept breaking down. Only solution was the technician had to kick it until the puck was free. They do refund game credits when games don't work. The VR wish has the biggest potential was meh, no sound , not a lot of game options and the employees handling it had no clue about the system. All in all just OK.

My favorite place for family fun. I come here often and am never disappointed. The food is always good. Service can be slow but it's efficient and I don't like being rushed. All the workers are friendly and helpful. I'm writing this review because the man working the ticket booth last night always goes above and beyond when he's there. Always making sure to answer all our questions and count our tickets and update our cards. I ask him millions of questions and help with random things and he is always fixing

The place is good, clean. Plenty of game options for kids.. please read fine prints when you're planning to go during offers.. [Tuesday's double tickets was little disappointing for kids as we were told only electronic game tickets are doubled and not the printed ones.. ] 1/2 price apps are good. Just sharing my experience..

My husband headed off to the Bruins playoff game tonight so I ventured to In The Game with my two kids (14, 9) and am SO HAPPY I did. We had the absolute best time. The entire facility is extremely clean and the staff is beyond welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious meal then set out for games. Every staff member we came into contact with was personable and friendly and helpful. Chris happily helped troubleshoot a game, Courtney patiently assisted the kids in ?the store?, the guys at the VR and Laser Tag were

I had my sons 8th bday party here and everyone (including the adults) had a great time . Special shout out to the bartender JONATHAN !! Not only did he perfect my drink that I am very picky with, but he was also very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back for my margarita fix thanks to Johnny ??

In the game was a great place for all of the kids to play and have fun! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Their food was amazing and large portions. The food price were great for such large portions. Everyone there made sure we had a great time. Everyone was caring and friendly . A few of the managers even approached us to welcome us at the new place and went to see what we thought of the place and made should everyone was having fun. We will definitely be returning there. The hardest thi

This place is fantastic. The games and experiences are all tons of fun, the food is great, and the staff is fantastic. My 13 year old daughter had a party at in the Game this past weekend and we included a bunch of adults too everyone there had a blast. I cannot recommend it more highly for a party for adults and kids!

I had my daughter 5th birthday here. The woman who was working our party was awesome! She was super patient with the kids. She was able to answer our questions and was super efficient. The girls were able to play laser tag along with myself and two dads. There was another party with some older boys that played with us. There were a few frightened girls, but again, the staff was awesome about it, and they had a blast playing. Even the girls that were scared ended up loving it. I would highly recommend this p

This was surprisingly good. They did a good job with the kids and the arcade was clean, well maintained, and extensive. The terrible chain establishment that shall-not-be-named could learn a thing or two from this place.

Attending a birthday party. Went in early to get a bit to eat. Stood at the counter for 10 minutes with no one in sight to take our order. Asked for assistance from an employee passing. Even then no one came out. Had to order our food with the birthday party. Event staff, young lady was very nice and attentive. Tater tots were good, hot dog looked delicious but it was just okay. Unfortunately a disappointment. The event had pizza, not good at all. Game area was a good size. Variety of games. Many card kiosk

Went here as an after school treat for our children. The kids had such a great time. The adults sat at the bar area and our waitress Alyse was so attentive and made sure our experience was great. This made up for a previous experience during April vacation that didn't go so well. The only reason we came back for another try was during our first visit we had a waitress named Andrea who knew what was needed to rectified a bad experience. I would recommend this place to friends.

Me and my son had a great time! Some of the games are a bit pricey, but with a groupon deal and maybe $40, 2-3 people can have a Great time with filling meal included!! The staff is probably the best part, for the most part everyone is so nice and helpful and super friendly! Will definitely come back when back in the area!???????????????

My daughter loves this place. I stopped there one time to get something quick to eat on the go, and to my surprise, something that should have been done in like 10 to 15 minutes! TOOK (38 minutes) I kept staring at them and staring at them. They kept saying something to me all. Let me check. they were just talking jibber jabbing, laughing. I actually meant to call the Manager, but I forgot at that time! But I am still upset about that time cause it was no reason for it what's so ever! For that I'd like to

This place was amazing! First time here tonight. The climbing course was Down and that's what we came here for but that didn't matter when back up and running I will be coming back to try it it out! My son and I did laser tag instead and games then dinner! The food was amazing! Every staff member was so polite and helpful with everything! When I first walked through the door NATE helped me and explained everything perfect and was so amazing! Thank you! Will be back!

Absolutely amazing service!! The owner is the friendliest guy in restaurant service I have ever met. HIGHLY RECOMMEND love this place :)

Its really cool! We were for a birthday party a big group of adults, The staff are very friendly. The manager was very nice too, he give to us cards with points to play. The laser tag was my favourite ! The food was good too!

I was completely in disbelief that all attractions closed an hour earlier than the arcade. I brought my assistant managers in for a drink and team building and was told at 10 min til 8:00 that they closed. I can understand a half hour early but if you have people wanting to spend money it's just bad service not to. With all the employees they had there shouldn't have been any reason to close things down. Very disappointing as I chose here over D and B and now will have to make another event to go there.

Loved it something to do for everyone had real food lots of fun

I asked the bartender if they could make me a mocktail and I was sternly rejected with a ?No?... not "no sorry" or "do you have any suggestions" poor customer service. Didn't make me feel like staying due to the lack of friendliness on top of the inability to make a mock-tail. (This place caters to children there must be some sort of juice available to work with)

This place is great! There's a wide variety of arcade games that fit all age ranges, and I'm 55. I tried the rope obstacle course and man that was a blast. Got myself some pizza and it was good, but, I have to say that the laser tag was the ultimate in fun. Overall, this place will not disappoint, everything from the food to all the variety of things to do is great. I will return here again. Oh ya, the prices are very reasonable too.

They have all kinds of stuff, very family friendly. Maybe it's just not for me, very chaotic and loud. Expensive to play games and not a good variety for adults who visit.

This place is a game changer for my son and I. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with the most friendliness greeting ever!!! My son felt part of the family instantly. The food and drinks were at a great price. Plenty of parking and an extremely clean environment for my son to play and roll around. All staff members were alert and helpful. If your ever here, ask for Chris as he went above and beyond to make sure my son was completely satisfied. My new favorite place thank you everyon

Took my kids here to enjoy themselves. Not to be addicted to games. But help there curiosity to explore the new games they offer here.its a maze of great attraction. It's a great way to allow a child mind to grow. To explore the possibility of searching can offer. Awesome place. Great food aswell try there raspberry balsamic salmon salad. Served with avocado. Awesome place. Great replacement of bonkers.

So we had a bad experience a year ago when the place first opened up...But on 3/8/21 we had a fantastic experience. Chris one of the managers did an exception job on a quiet Monday evening. I really appreciate the length he went to in making sure we had a great experience. This 1 star review goes to 5 stars because of him. Give it a second try, things are a lot better.

No quality food for the price they are charging. Food is microwaved and nachos don't even come with beans. $20 game cards lasted my three kids less than 15 mins so they came back to the table looking to reload them. Absolutely no value for a family! Advice: keep the kids entertained longer and parents will spend more money on drinks/food. Sadly, we will not be coming back.

Some broken games. Overall good for middle school and kids. A lot of what I call pseudo-gambling games. Coin trays, wheel of fortune, claw games. I didn't eat there so I'm not rating that. Laser tag was fun. Kids looked like they were having fun. Overall exactly what you would expect. Nothing exciting nothing offensive.

Amazing Place! My daughter loves it, had her birthday there last year. Very clean, nice staff, very helpful, & so much fun. If you sign up for their emails you get these deals like 1/2 off Friday.

Warning - possibility of food poisoning!!! I am writing this review after 2AM because I've just woken up and have thrown up all of my food!!! I came to this place for the first time early Saturday evening with some friends, and now never want to go back! We actually pulled into the parking lot earlier this evening and there was vomit when my friend stepped out of the car, and we dismissed it as kids being active and eating junk, but now that we both became sick, it's possible there was some bad food served

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?
