Imagination Zone

Imagination Zone

Reviews Summary

The Imagination Zone is a popular, affordable spot for kids with bounce houses, ball pits, and arcade games, though many note it's run-down and needs deep cleaning. Reviews praise its fun atmosphere, decent pizza, and value for parties, but criticize hygiene issues like dirt, mold, and broken equipment. While some dismiss complaints as unrealistic expectations, others warn of glaring cleanliness problems. Most agree it’s great for burning energy, especially in bad weather, but quality varies—loyal visitors love it, while first-timers may be put off by its dated, sometimes grimy condition.

Imagination zone is the best! We travel 45 minutes to come here instead of local climbing places. Imagination zone used to be $3 a child parents free. Today we found out it's all free now. The local place charges $14 per child and $2 to $3 per adult and adults dont even go on the equipment. So then how do they make money? The food! The food is extremely good and made fresh. So the prices must be high then right? For $6.29 you get a stromboli with sauce, cheese, and 2 toppings! Its not small either! The food

Attended a birthday party here. Had a great time. Food was good. Clean. Kids had a blast. Only thing I might mention is the prize selection for redeeming tickets was less than so-so.

Went here in a pinch to keep the kids busy for a few hours. Overall, this place isn't too bad. Plenty of games for the kids to play, and the games are fairly priced. Pizza here was reasonably priced, and to be honest, was pretty good. Kids had fun, and it kept them occupied for the afternoon. Went during the week too, so it wasn't that busy. Only thing that got to me here was the cleanliness. The play area was pretty dirty. The ball pit area was down right filthy. You could physically see the dirt and gri

Been taking my kids here for years. Small, but still lots of fun for littles. Great place for birthdays too. This is the party room where I had my sons birthday this past weekend. Prices can't be beat!

My kids love it! They have a bounce house and a ball pit. The pizza tastes really good too

Like a knock off chuckle cheese but much much cheaper! My kids LOVE it here. Games, pizza, ball pit, bounce house ,what more could a kid want!

Great because it's free. Food is sub par and is very poorly lit in the play area. Also looks closed and rundown from the outside

The BBQ chicken pizza was excellent. The workers were all very nice and very attentive. I was nervous to come here because of some of the reviews but I'm glad I went with my toddler. I think maybe some people have a different expectation for what this place is. If you're looking for a newly renovated and up to date indoor playground, there are places like that around but you pay to get in. This is more like a pizza shop that offers free bounce houses and a decent ballpit and climbing zone, with a dec

I took my daughter(5 and with autism) here today because it was raining out and new to pa still, it was nice that it's free play for the kids, but due to Covid the main attraction (for my daughter anyway ) was closed due to Covid which was the huge ball pit and the mini ball pit which also means the main and only slide that connects to it too. The bounce house got all the glory since the balls were a no go! She went in and out over 5 times in sessions from playing arcade games, air hockey, collecting ticket

Your kids a little dated but my kids loved it in the guy William that was at the counter was awesome

Great Place for family and friends, been coming here for 7 years... awesome place, and the food and service is Presidential ??????????

My kids love this place We appreciate the new bounce house. The pizza seems to have gotten better. The food is decent however the fries were cold/old last time we were there but normally pretty good. The price is worth it. We love this place. Let's The kids have fun on a budget...I recommend

Do not like military veterans with service animals. Got kicked out because we had a service animal.

My son absolutely loves this place. He is 8 now and still enjoys it.

We come here every once in a while because it's the only indoor play place in the area that I know of. Kids can play for free- making it the only reason we come. I would never pay to play at this establishment. I'm giving you two stars for convenience and pricing alone. If I could give ZERO stars for cleanliness I would, everyday until you hire professional cleaners. These are children playing in your space. You're entire establishment is centered around child play. And I would bet your place, rarely- if ev

The pizza was fantastic and on Tuesdays, there's a special, making it cheaper. We just went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and we had a blast. My kids had a lot of fun pretending to play games while I spent all their coins on the gambling games to get them tickets. There was almost no one there on a Tuesday, so they had a lot of room to run

It was soooo fun I played fun games with my dad and it was fun

It's pretty dated. I believe the sign currently says "IMA ATION ONE" because it's burnt out. But the pizza is good. And the kids have a good time.

This place is worth the visit. The staff here are always professional and extremely pleasant. The pizza is always hot, fresh and delivered right to your table. My kids love jumping in the bouncy castle and running around in the tube maze. There are plenty of arcade games to play and they are pretty cheap. All around great place to spend time at so your kids can have fun.

Went for my grandsons birthday and it was horrible I know it was for the kids but it was crazy the workers were not very friendly and they even had to drill out the lock to get a child out of one of the games every time I ask the workers for something they had attitudes and they did not want to do more then they had to if they brought you something they were very miserable I wish it would have a better time it was the first time he wanted to leave a place were there was kids playing and there was games and

This place is pretty cool my kid likes it a lot we've already been here several times since we discovered it. However I have to write this review because my kid went with her dad and another patron swiped her winter coat. I hope they needed it. It will be hard to go back there though because she loved that coat. It was her favorite and reversible. She called it her fuzzy coat. So yeah if you go don't leave your kids? coats on the table unattended.

Kids love it here. No more ball pits to play in, if that matters. Food is pretty good. And bathroom was clean. Birthday prices seem a little high for what you get, but that's my only complaint.

Owner is extremely rude. My husband and I spend no exaggeration hundreds of dollars here weekly between pizza for our kids and the games. We are here every single Thursday. Since my child was recently diagnosed with a few different allergies I wanted to minimize our risk of dealing with those issues and I packed them ONE peanut butter and jelly sandwich to share and a cup of watermelon... Not to mention the only food they offer here is pizza which is extremely limiting to people with gluten and dairy allerg

This place is God sent. Please support this business. Kids play free and the food is great. The staff ..outstanding !!!

Staff is always friendly. Pizza is always good. However, this place needs a deep clean EVERY NIGHT especially since they're geared towards smaller children who are often on the floor, ballpit, and tunnels then putting their hands in their mouth. They need a total makeover job and newer updated games. Maybe add some games for older children so that this place could be enjoyable for the whole family.

I have no reason to give it less than 5 stars ... maybe the bathrooms could be cleaner? But anybody that gives this place less than 3 stars must've had a 1 time bad experience and they are salty .. the kids can play for free and have cheap pizza .. whats the problem? Ok so sometimes it's a little dirty .. but what do you expect from a ton of kids running around daily ? Stop disgracing small local businesses over your higher unattainable expectations Bring the kids and let them have fun .. you'll never hear

Run by teenagers, staff appeared to bully our party server she was such a sweet kid. They all acted scared of the 16 year old in charge of bounce house duty whom clearly doesn't have the patience to deal with kids.

Had a birthday party for our great granddaughter and grandson. The food and service were good. The price for the party was reasonable. Will do it again come August for our other grandchildren.

Place is very dirty and dated. Kids leave with black socks, there's 3 inches of dust growing on the ceiling fans and the place needs updating. We went for a party, we wouldn't actually choose to go here on our own. Pizza wasn't terrible although I question the cleanliness of the food prep area just because the rest of the place is so dirty.

Gross. I took my children there today and I was shocked by how dirty everything was. The ceiling tiles were 80% brown from either water damage and or mold. The ball pits balls had dirt on them and one had a used bandaid stuck to it. The high chairs had old food on them as well as the tables. The tunnels in the slides had large amounts of hair which totally grossed me out to the point we finally had left. I do have to say the two woman working there were very nice and you can tell the one was very over worke

We had an AWESOME fun time!! My only complaint is the toys they offer for the $25 in tickets my grandson won are REALLY CHEAP!! We spent $25 on tokens and the toys he got w his tickets we could've gotten at the dollar store for $5!! But on a positive note, we had a good time playing the different games etc....???

We brought our kids there to play, their was a birthday party going on in one section, the parents gave us the dirtiest looks when our kids wanted to jump in the bunch house, which no one was in at the time. The birthday party made it an unfriendly place to be. Maybe when there is no parties going we can play freely.

Best $3 you'll ever spend! My 2 year old loved it. Bounce house, ball pits, climbing slide adventure, food is good and inexpensive. Arcade for older kids. MY only complaint is they need to have someone climb through the slide thing and clean it, the sides are filled with gunk & hair.

This place was great! Only 3 bucks for a child to get in plus we got a personal pizza and soda which totalled under 8 bucks. My daughter barely needed tokens because she was so busy with the ball pit, indoor playground and moon bounce. I really dont think it was dirty like people say, definetly not worse than any McDonald's I've seen.

The pizza here isn't bad for a game place for kids. If not for the amazing employees I wouldn't rate this as high. But the young guy that fixes the machine, clears ticket jams and helps the kids cash in their tickets is awesome!

My children love this place. It's a low buget Chucky cheese. We do go often. The food never really sits well if you know what I mean! Unfortunately this weekend I took my family there and we did have a great time. Ordered pizza and chicken wings then, came home with FOOD POISONING.The chicken was disgusting off the back. We couldn't even eat it. I ate one chicken wing and we ordered about 24. Each of us eating about 1 trying to give it a chance. It was so slimy, I believe it may have been under cooked tha

Enjoyed another fun night at Imagination Zone. The ball pits are closed off due to Covid 19. My daughter was really bent out of shape over this. I understand this is how it goes with pandemic restrictions. The other play areas were just as fun as always. Really great to see this place open and serving customers. Food was delicious. Calzone and veggie pizza are our go to... Fun for my small children to have. Arcade games, slides, & bounce house.

This place is run down, quite dirty, and smells like feet in some places. The play areas have a residue that feels like it doesnt get regularly sanitized. However, on a rainy day, it's a place to let your kids tire themselves out. The price is decent as well.

The imagination zone sounds like an amazing place of adventure for kids. My son was excited for weeks to attend his friends birthday party. It had 1 small bounce castle and 1 jungle gym with tubes. Accompanied with a basic arcade that spits out tickets for cracker jack prizes. The good thing was that the pizza was above average in taste for those "kid place" type dinners and the kids had a blast with what they were given.

Whether you're a full grown adult or a small child, this place is awesome. Plenty of games to play, plenty of tickets to win. All the employees are very cool. Definitely recommend this place if you happen to be cruising through the Brodheadsville area.

I think the adults have more fun than the kids. They have games, food, tickets to earn prizes. The employees are so down to earth and they really do the right thing!

It's all you need to keep the kids happy.

Great pizza! Pizza hut but way better! Poor arcade though, in a dire need of some repair and upgrades.

It's a very nice place to bring the family and have fun. Could be a little cleaner though. The pizza is in my view tied for the best in the area. The employees are very friendly and that is a big plus in my book.

I've been taking my God children there for over 20 some years now. They always loved the play games and bounce house, ball pit, tubes and ext... And can order food from The Big Cheese pizza among other foods as well!!!

My kids like it. They have bounce houses and a ball pit. Your kids will have a great time. Don't wast money or time on the games they all suck and the prizes are sooooo terrible.

Great safe place to take the kids for a few hours

McDonald's broke my daughter's heart when they tore out their playland. Then a friend told me about this gem! It was EXACTLY what I was hoping for, and more! It has obviously been around for a long time, and has seen a lot of love! I find that much more appealing than a sterile corporate establishment. The arcade was fun! I would definitely rent out a part room for my kid! And we are going to make it a monthly or bi-weekly outing! If only it were closer to Stroudsburg... But the trip was worth it!

We took our daughters are last weekend for her birthday and as always she had a wonderful time it is inexpensive and the food is also very good and inexpensive as well. We've been to this establishment numerous times and plan on returning.

This place is really fun but it's a shame how dirty, musky and disgusting everything here was especially for young children to play on.

It's a family fun environment, cheap price (3$ per kid) hours of fun for them , Mom and Dad too !!they also offer birthday party packages at a fair price . Oh and pretty decent pizza (THEY DELIVER!!)

For my 2 1/2 year olds, it was a great place for them to expend some energy. They loved it. The pizza is good as well. Will be returning.

It's cheap and kids have fun, pizza is good. Check expirations on salad dressing and sodas, and some of the games don't work but like I said it's cheap and the kids have fun.

A fun little place, some games like ski ball, and other skilled games for tickets!! Bouncy houses great for little kids , pizza and snacks available!!

From a mothers opinion this place could use some serious cleaning. There were dead bugs in the soda cooler & by the register. From my sons point of view he loved it!

This place is great both kids and parents. We had a blast. Fairly price party deals as well . Definitely coming back .

They are rude, unfortunately. We got our foot from home because of religious restrictions but they did not allow to eat while we are watching our daughter. We thought that there was not room to eat and said okay. When we got inside we saw almost fifteen empty tables. We become so sad.

Fun for kids, kind of run down. Decent food. Staff isn't very friendly, but my kids love the place. Just bring lots of hand sanitizer.

Complained because we didn't tip them. Well I'm sorry but if I don't make an order, you won't have a delivery. And your employer won't get any money. Oh and don't y'all get paid like 18 an hour or something.

Alot of games don't work, place needs a deep cleaning, no hand sanitizer to be seen in the whole place, place hasn't been renovated in the last 10 years. It's a shame to see this place slowly deteriorate. Not to mention the sign out front has lights out for 5+ years.

Super cool place. Free entry. Really reasonably priced food and arcade games. Kept my kiddos and hubby busy!

Both token machines were broken and employees acted as if it was a hassle to hand count them at the counter. Ticket eater not shockingly didnt work either. Lastly its unfortunate employees refuse to step in when kids are acting up in a harmful manner. All the summersaulting and trying to scale the sides of the bounce house resulted in a kid getting kicked in the face/bloody nose. I even made the effort to say something at the counter before said incident and the girl at the counter just shrugged her sho

Super cheap, $3 for your kid to play. However, it really needs a cleaning. It's also a bit dated, which is fine. The lack of cleanliness is my only gripe.

I'm not to sure how this place is nowadays but I do know that when I was a kid, My friend and I use to love this place and get super excited when our moms told us we were going here

Imagination Zone is regular local place for children to play in bouncing rooms, video games, and arcade style games to earn tickets for various prizes. They also have food for purchase available ,.. ( all types of pizza, stromboli, fries, beverages and helpful friendly service. Easily accessible from Rt.209 and plenty of free parking. Affordable prices and a good release for the kids to burn off some energy.

dude this place is like straight out of the 90s. its so ghetto but its really fun. im 14 and damn i had a blast when my older sister brought me. so yeah. if you like 90s aesthetics go here definitely

Been taking my son here since his 1 year old, love that you pay 3$ and play all he wants, they have food, playgrounds, a bounce house, etc. Really a friendly place.

pizza was good but the bounce houses had holes in them and we're very unsturdy. would recommend games but not bounce houses.

I would give this place 4 stars because kids have fun with the bounce house and the games and tickets are easy to get but the amount of money spend on the games is more than the amount you would spend to buy the prize without tickets.

My son really likes it there. Pizza is great. But they could use an update and a good cleaning.

Great prices lots of fun for my kids. Pizza Is good not great. Love some of the retro games.

Great place to take the kids . Alot cheaper then Chuckie cheese . Was great food was good too. We all had fun too.

Friendly staff in a nice friendly atmosphere. 1st time here and my girls loved it. Will be returning, and oh yeah the food is good ??

Not geared towards parents having any fun in the bounce house or the play area but pizza service and fun for the kids was definitely nice!

My toddlers love this place

Imagination Zone in Brodheadsville is an excellent place to go if you have little ones. Great atmosphere, very pleasant staff and the food for a recreation spot is very good. I recommend this place highly.

It's fun for a kids party and all but it is very run down the ball pit does not have enough balls but it is good for kids up to 6 years of age

Recommend calling first in advance. Drove a half an hour here and they had a piece of paper on the door saying they closed at 4 even though it shouldve been 8. Kids were all excited just for it to be closed

Always order pizza from here and had no idea they had an arcade so we checked it out and it's so cute, and the staff is super friendly!

Great for parties for the kids and love the parmesan breadsticks with butter dip the most!!!! Or just a great way to get those kids burning off that energy if its colder out!!!!!

It's an ok place to keep the kids occupied for a couple hours. Definitely need to be cleaned properly. And a updated is needed its stuck in the early 90's

Really like this place! Pizza is good and everyone is nice and polite! Also great for the kids!

Clean but had virtually no proces for the kids to pick from and the gentleman got agitated with how long my kids were taking and didn't let us use our last 200 points

Lots of fun games tho the prizes are definalty from the dollar store that cost 300 tickets kinda silly if u ask me

My kids love it here and the pizza is good

Attended a birthday party here kids had a great time and the pizza was great

Great place and atmosphere for my daughter's party! She loved it!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
