Wonderful time with friends bowling. The staff was great, Joe was fantastic and prices were fair and bowling shoes were comfortable. Great place to take your family and friends too.

We had our wedding reception at the Fifth Frame Lounge and I cannot even put into words how absolutely wonderful everyone here was. As soon as they saw our colors, they were on a ladder, changing the lights to match. Every little thing we needed, someone was there to help. And of course, they were incredibly affordable! Absolutely 10000/10, recommending SuperBowl to everybody I know for every event, forever. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Was there for a tournament. Practice for a set of lanes was only 7 minutes for 10 bowlers. Was disappointed with that. Every league I've bowled in has allowed 15 minutes of practice for 10 bowlers. 2nd complaint is the 44' oil length, we are all recreational bowlers, not professionals. Most recreational leagues are 38'. Positive note, was easy to find and the facilities has a wide range of entertainment from kids to adults on site.

My coworkers and I went last night and had a Blast! The prices were super affordable & the deals were awesome! Definitely recommend their fried pickles. SO GOOD! The game room was Lit too!

Such a fun experience for the kids. We brought in our soccer team and the staff worked with us to get the best prices for the lanes. They had the cosmic setup going and played some great music over the course of the evening. I highly recommend it!

Nice place to take your kids to bowl and enjoy the arcade afterwards. Pizza was good and the prices were decent as well. Glad that this place still exists, one of the few original gems of the Illinois Valley.

First time bowling there. Reasonable summer rates, shoes & 2 games only $8, over 55 discount $3.50 a game. Very friendly staff. Equipment all worked well i.e. automatic scoring, good ball inventory, bowling shoes, ball return etc... full bar and arcade available. Nice background music, had a fun time.

Fun place! Saw Tim Ajster band there. Good band, nice atmosphere. Family friendly as well.

I went to my first Comedy Show last night and it did not disappoint! It was so much fun! The food and drinks are all fairly priced. If you're looking for something fun to do and considering going to a show...do it. It was a blast. The bowling alley also is very well maintained and a good time. You can't go wrong going to the Super Bowl ??

Nice bowling alley! The mixed drinks are pretty weak so thank goodness they got beer. Also cant beat 3 games plus shoes for 26 bucks. Will definitely be back!

All i did was drive by going to menards. I ass ume its a great place...

Braiden was amazing! He was attentive and accommodating to help us get the most of our experience when our food was taking longer than expected to come out on a busy night. He definitely maximized our experience!! 10/10

Superbowl offers food and drinks while you are enjoying a great bowling with friends and family! They also service alcohol and have video gaming for older customers! Secondly they have an arcade for younger children. Overall a great place for any family night!

Great place to take kids it was fun packed but it was fun

Very nice and affordable place to bowl. Pizza was delicious for nothing fancy. They did not carry 6lb bowling balls which made it a little difficult for my little one but we managed. They also have a nice little arcade but we did not play any games.

Do not recommend. Was treated differently right when we came in. Was told only 6 people can bowl on a lane when there was 8 slots for names and pricing was different the. The people in front of us. Got a drink from and cashier wouldn't even hand the money to my brother but instead set it on the counter and walked away.( I'm guessing because we are African American) then when we had more than 10 mins left in our games. They told us our game was over and the balls stopped coming out of machine. Never coming b

Great house! Beautiful lanes and nice staff. Excellent price and customer service when buying a new ball and shoes.

Great Place to take kids and have some fun. The food is delicious, laser bowling is a blast, and it's the only place in the area with an actual functioning arcade.

Eric made sure that we had a great time and everyone was happy. Karen has to be the best bar tender! Smiling and a watchful eye! Great place for the whole family.

We had a fantastic time at the Super Bowl. Joe one of the owners gave us help and was very pleasant to us. The cost was very reasonable. We will be going back. Great time.

My granddaughters birthday party was held here. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They even let the kids play a little bit longer on the lanes.

Love the arcade for kids, little pricey but not too bad. Super great staff, very friendly and quick.

Lains are good and greased up, balls feel clean, place feels overall clean, and pizza is alright for a bowling alley. We seen many mechanical pickups on the lanes around us but nothing that took any time to fix

We have been there for 2 shows. We love the side room for the entertainment. The comedian and Rod Stewart shows were awesome. We definitely will be back.

We had a little birthday party here and got the $70 bowling package. It was perfect for our small group.

Great comedy show! The bartenders and wait staff were on the ball! Great people and lots of fun. If you're bowling, there are many options for all ages. Leagues, one night specials and laser bowling. There's also an arcade room for all ages!

We enjoyed the place. I like the whole light thing going on at night. Brought my kids there to bowl as well as for school bowling tournaments. ( This was a month or so before summer vacation this year)People are friendly and considerate. Only thing was, I went to get drinks at the bar. I approached while it wasn't busy to do so. And the girl working just walked away to have a conversation on her phone. Thinking ok, she's going to hang up soon. Nope! Just continued...so, I just left. Came back about 20 minut

Fun for kids and adults. Clean bowling lanes with a bar too. Check it out!

I took my grandkids there. One guy handing out shoes was rude and seemed bothered to do his job. Another teenager attempted to teach my granddaughter to day ?please? like he was a parent. ?????

I have been a patron of the IV Superbowl for over 25 years. The place just keeps improving! Not only do you have bowling, but there is laser/neon bowling. Also for adults is comedy nights! And now trivia nights and music events! It just keeps getting better. Thanks IVS!

I love that is affordable and the staff is very nice.

Eric and Joe are awesome we love this bowling alley. Buck and all the people that work here are very nice. The lanes are in great and they take great pride in the condition of the lanes. The pro shop is great and they know how to fit you with a bowling ball. We also love the comedy club. You really will laugh. Visit here it a great time!

I had my son's birthday party here on 10/3/21. I figured why not come here because we've been before and loved how they did things here. This experience was not the same at all and very disappointing for what I paid for. We didn't get a party room for one, my son didn't get a bowling pin for everyone to sign like they said he would, our pizza was not that great and top to it off the person who was making the food was not washing their hands and touching frozen product (hamburger meat) and then touching othe

Went to get ball drilled a couple years ago. Payed outrageous amount for it to be drilled. Drilled the thumb hole to small didn't allow to throw a couple on a lane had to do it on the floor. Asked to have thumb drilled out more got told it would is fine. Went back several more times for same issue got ignored. I never liked their lanes, and since then haven't been back

Go here every Friday for leagues and it's great. Everyone is so friendly and if something goes wrong the employees run to resolve the issue. Food is great and does not cost too much. Bowling cost is pretty high though. 22 dollars for 3 people to bowl 1 game is very steep. They have a wide variety of games in the arcade area. They need to change the ceilings, they are getting very gross.

Great family fun. We went as part of our Christmas Fun! First time there. The staff was pleasant. The building was clean. The pun setters and ball returns worked. What more could you ask for!

Worst experience ever. Kids were super excited to bowl, we got there at 11. We called and they said they close at midnight. We got there the cashier look at me I ask if they were close he said yes. I told him I called and they said 12. He then went to get the manager to make the story short was a very bad experience. Manager looked like he was ready to go. And they said they don't have any business and 1 lane was open so they close. I don't recommend to anyone with kids to visit this place.

Went for a birthday party and was rushed out of the party room and time was shortened on bowling due to them not bringing in the pizzas till the last 15 minutes of being in the room. We said it was a girl party and they decorated in blue! We had to take down all their stuff and re setup with our own! That also took time which they did not give us! Will never go back!

Great for birthday parties

This place is fun. It needs some more light balls for the kids in the bowling party. I feel that the price is reasonable for the birthday party. We all had a blast but you end up spending a lot more for the adults to participate. The game stuff kept having issues (like the cards and the prize machine). It can be really expensive if you dont do a party or quartermania. Shoes are uncomfortable. Also, you get rushed out of the party room. Like, they tell you a million times when you have to be out. Like, gon

Fun place to go! It could use a little remodeling, as it is looking a little dated and some lanes seem to have issues. But if you are looking for a place to have some fun with the family, this is definitely the place to go! So glad to have them here in our area!!!

Paid for the family fun pack. Also purchased two appetizers and a pitcher of beer. Wanted a pitcher of water for kids and was told I had to pay $2.00 for a pitcher of tap water. So I paid for the tap water, but noticed the bartender put it in a container next to the cash register rather than in it. When I questioned this procedure, he told me after they collect enough money, they use it to go out for dinner. Clearly not feeling the need to tip this guy.

The day we went was pretty busy but that was because they offered a really good deal. I would recommend calling or checking online for their specials. It's always clean and good family entertainment.

Staff were not very welcoming, didn't tell us about the price specials, had bumper bowling setup for 1 of our 4 bowlers, it kept freezing, we had to switch lanes and it kept doing the same thing. Entirely too expensive for what we experienced!!!

Great facility the atmosphere was very nice ?? , but the Chcken sandwich was not so nice ?? 4 stars outta 5 ????

Clean, well kept facility that welcomes all skill levels. Nice bar area. Long reputation for hosting great comedians.

Rude staff, crazy expensive 3 kids ages 2, 4 and 6 one game almost 30 bucks. No kid ramps available. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean a lane (easily 15 lanes available). Arcade is weak and ridiculous expensive. Definitely do not recommend this place for kids, or for adults

Fun place to take your kids in the winter. It is a little pricey, especially considering we paid by the hour and our lane messed up over half a dozen times and had to be repeatedly fixed by an employee.

Bowled a tournament here. There was no damage to my bowling balls that I saw. The lanes were clean as well. As I bowled a tournament, I can not say how lane prices were. The staff was friendly when I talked to them.

Had alot of fun. Prices weren't bad and the kids loved the gameroom too!

The bowling was fine and they had an arcade, but there weren't that many games. It was very modern stuff though. They had A special room for birthday parties and a money machine for the birthday kid. All in all a lot of fun and not very pricey.

Service was absolutely terrible on a Monday morning at 11:30 am!! Attendant was a complete jerk and we were only ones in here. Asked to order food and was told no they don't "usually" turn fryers on this early!

The kids love this place since there are arcades. The stage performances are usually not bad but the bar will get you through mediocre performances lol.

Went to comedy night. Great time and great entertainment! One of the owners even came by the table and chatted with us after the show to make sure everything was good!

The bowling alley is really good. Prices are good, too. The comedy club is the best thing about it. Check it out Saturday nights. Buy Your tickets in advance so you have a reserved table.

Will not bowl here again!! Review came from a good friend and his family So we decided to take Kaleb to the Super Bowl in Peru IL for his Birthday and to get his practice in for the Special Olympics. He uses a ramp to launch his ball from. So we go to the counter and ask for a ramp. The guy at the counter goes and gets it for us. Then another man walks up (The Owner) He proceeds to tell us if someone comes in that has special needs he is going to take it from us. We tell him our son is special needs and he

Fantastic experience... Have been there tons of times... Had a little Christmas party last night food was great wonderful time all around

We had a small birthday party for my son. I was impressed with the service, friendly staff, food and party package. I would highly recommend this venue.

Great family fun and when it is cold outside it is warm inside. We love the Quarter Mania on Sundays now....25c to bowl one game and another quarter for shoes with a buy in of $6.

Affordable, good lanes, good food, no complaints

Super fun had a great time good food

Very good family fun! Great staff & hometown family feel! Equipment is good & staff is VERY knowledgeable! Great packages available for birthdays, groups, etc! Nice arcade

Decent place to bowl, had a good deal going... Bowling balls were not easy to choose from seemed like the finger holes were all too small. But is cleaner than most bowling places around here.

Great bowling alley, lots of fun. The arcade area was awesome. The gaming area is nice.

It is a clean place but small and very unique.Good family fun place not much for above average bowlers.

I brought my niece & brother bowling for the first time ever here last night. We had some pretty bad service when we asked for a menu & the staff disappeared. Probably never going back as the kids were hungry & we just paid for 3 people to bowl, just seems unprofessional & impolite.

Not too bad not too good..service was good, no strange smells , overall Decent

Great customer service and clean.

The specials are great. Makes for some great family fun at a great price.

Fun place with new games and prizes for the kids while you bowl

The lanes were really slow to respond and a few lanes were freezing. A staff member had to go to the back a few times to get everything working again. Games in the arcade were broken, and the selection was honestly disappointing.

Great, affordable place for a birthday party! One hour of bowling, $5 cards to the arcade, private party room, pizza and drinks, a bowling pin to sign, and even a "money booth" for the birthday kid!

Bowled for the cause on Saturday night with my daughter Jessica state farm agent first time I picked up a ball in over 30 yrs Eric Acunsious was great if I was healthy enough I'd be bowling up there for sure

I called ahead of time they said the pro shop would be open til 3. Got there at 220 and it was closed.

I love this bowling alley! it is always a great time! staff is very nice and friendly, the place is clean, prices and food are great!

Laser Bowling Birthday Party. Kids had a great time and the adults got to relax. Great staff, really good pizza.

Terrible lanes. Machine gave you the points It wanted to. Employees could care less. Crazy expensive. 9 dollar shoe rentals. Two games three, people almost 40 bucks.

Fun lanes decent arcade decent prices. Would definitely recommend fries avoid the mozzarella sticks and pizza is good

I bowl on the Friday night league, the staff is amazing and the place is great to hang out and bowl a few games with friends and family.

We love having family night here the bowling lanes are clear of debris and the place is clean customer service is not that great but overall we love going there on family night

Fantastic place for adults and kids alike. We saw the comedy show and it was a total riot! Planning on bowling there soon!

We had a great time...very cool place and the staff is very friendly and helpful...will definitely be back

If you like bowling this is the place to go, the staff is very friendly, and always a fun time. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often

Small local bowling alley, lanes were ok and service was good. Really no big issues, had a gopd time bowling.

Bowling was fun, employees were very friendly. Food was sub-par, but you don't really go to a bowling joint expecting good food.

Its a fun place but the big bald guy who sits on the back office keeps staring at me everytime i go in there, he gives me r?pey vibes

We had a great time with a family reunion outing. They did a very nice job.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
