First stop from my own beer crawl, took the train here and it was 3 minute walk from when the train stopped. Ordered the hoppy papi I believe it's called, and could not drink it any slower, the taste was so good. They even had super smash bros on the tv to play! If you are in the area, don't miss out on this place.
Best brewery in the Arcadia/ Monrovia area. Stargazer hazy is great and if you like stouts the peanut butter stout is with trying
Fun place. Entrance walking in w/o a car can be challenging but inside is great (TVs and beer).
Hard to spot at first, but it's literally right off the Metro stop. Worth while place to grab a IPA. They seem to focus mostly on IPAs few Stout's or other darker and lighter brews. Excellent overall tho. Highly recommend for any brew connoisseur.
It's a small spot in an industrial complex. They have an extremely diverse beer list! And arcade games! And switch games! It is on the small side and warmer than I'd like to be, but it's also worth checking out! They have a free popcorn machine!
Friendly beer tender, the beers were honestly pretty good. And the setup was small, but nice. Arcade and video game setup. Highly recommend a visit here!
So fun. We played Mario Kart battle while sipping delicious local craft brew. It's tucked away and a little hard to find, but super worth it. Brewer on site!! My fave was the hazy!!
Nice small brewery with a cozy environment and friendly staff. IPA selection was decent and the flavors were good. Prices are good for what you get. They have games and tvs so you can relax and enjoy some good brews with friends.
Checked it out this past weekend and had a great time! The owner, Gary, is a long-time home brewer with a commitment to quality beer. Not a bad one in the bunch. My favorites were the lager and IPA #002. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere and great-tasting beer. I'll be back soon!
Delicious hazy IPA and pastry sour Pint Life Passport for the win
Dog friendly. indoor only. You can bring your own food. Great beer. I had their chocolate hazelnut stout and their starhazer hazy. Both of them are really delicious. The stout, nutty forward and malty, with a hint of cocoa at the end. Not sweet at all. The hazy is citrusy and hoppy, with just a very tiny almost unnoticeable bitterness at the end. Very refreshing and well balanced. They have free fresh popcorn with lots of different flavor topping. Will definitely come back.
February 2022 - Party of 3, Friday 9pm. No wait. They close at 10pm. Slightly difficult to find but wouldn't be a brewery if it wasn't lol. Food/Pricing - Depending on the beer, 5 oz is $3-4. 10 oz is $5 ish. A flight of 4 cost us $11. Super reasonable prices and the selection of choices are unique! Loved the ones that we got! Service/Ambiance - Service was super friendly!! Bartender was chatting it up with all the guests and very attentive. Will I be back? Definitely! Need to try the rest of the options
Staff is amazingly friendly! They are super dog friendly as well! The rotating menu of beers brewed on sight means that you can try new flavors and varieties on a regular basis without breaking the bank.
We love this brewery! Been going here for years. The ownership is personable, the atmosphere is fun and after going a few times you'll feel like this is your ?Cheers?. They have great IPA?s but also, seltzers and other creative brews. Also, dog friendly, video games, tv?s and so on.
Love the beer! Beer tenders are nice. The palette of beer always slaps. It's a bit small. Bring your own food. Plenty of parking and right by gold line!
Good beers at a decent price, have some fun board and video games. They even have Pokemon red.
Always amazingly friendly and professional. Extremely friendly towards dogs which is a huge plus! Beer is always amazing and staff is beyond friendly!
Good collection of delicious brews. A place to hangout with your friends!
Perfection. This tiny Monrovia brewery produces the world's premier beers. The sour crumble seasonals are world-class incredible. Their Starhazer IPA is immaculate. Help yourself to free, fresh popcorn. This place has it all! Go. See. Taste....N' don't forget to tip your tap professional.
I always feel so welcomed here. Staff is so friendly they seem like family. Beers are amazing. Great lil diamond in the rough. Look forward to going everytime.
Gary is a perfectionist and the beer is freaking great. Very cool spot, good selection and place is perfect to hang out. Worth visiting!
Small place, but good beers!!! Great service from the beertender!
This is a great little brewery. It's located right next to the gold line stop in Monrovia with tons of free parking across the street. We came on a day that a friend's food truck was here and will be returning. Their IPAs are excellent.
WOW, Trader Joe?s found a Real Good One.. Hop Secret .. is like the Fine Wine of Beers .. smooth and Refreshing.. Highly Recommend, at Trader Joe?s ??
Intimate brewery with very knowledgeable staff. The people patronizing this place are also wonderful and we had a great time talking to other people at the brewery. Beers are solid and do not disappoint. Very happy to stumble upon such a great place and will return if we're in the area!
Great Beer & friendly service. What more can you ask for? There's free popcorn with an assortment of toppings or you can bring food in or have it delivered if you want something more substantial. The new artwork is awesome!
Quality beer brewed with quality people. Cozy lower capacity spot where delicious local beers are brewed on site. Deeps Space is my favorite if you want a high alcohol IPA that doesn't overpower your nose or tastebuds!
First time visiting, and the atmosphere is cozy/small however the service was phenomenal! Jen the bartender is great she did a great job recommending drinks that I wanted, and made me want to visit again!
this has been one of my favorite spots in all of the LA area. i've been here when it's busy, empty afternoon or right before closing. they are top notch when looking for an IPA or stout. it might be a bit difficult to find because of the surrounding area but once you do, i'm sure you'll be coming back time and time again like me.
Solid beers, with NEIPA hazy available. Good service, say hello to the owner - great guy and artist. They just started serving a double hazy made from el dorado hops and a delicious addition of watermelon. Great local brewery.
Hop secret has dinner if the best beer in SGV. Don't sleep on them. The watermelon cream sickle is killer. Let alone every other beer on tap. Drink up!
Good local craft Brewery. Small and off the beaten path. Around the corner from the ? gold line. Great price on beer selection. Very good flavorful tones in the beer.
My favorite local brewery. Never lets me down. Easy to get food delivered; video games and several big screen TVs
This is the next great brewery. The owners Gary and Sean are passionate about their beer. They are amazing people with great knowledge and their beers prove it. The brews are a secret..sshhh so you need yo check it out for yourselves. ????????
Great tasting beers! I tried four different beers and was unable to choose a favorite as they were all fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment!
No joke, best brewery in LA county
Awesome beers! Friendly and attentive staff. Wide selection and have loved everything I've tried (which is most of them). Would put any of them up against your favorites!
Fantastic beers and friendly staff. Nice smallish taproom with video games, TV's and music playing. No food, but fresh popcorn!
Delicious beer. Love the selection. People are awesome and the brewery master/owner is super nice. Definitely coming back.
Has a great feel to it. Very friendly service. The beer is phenomenal! Yes thats right, phenomenal! I would reccomend to friends and family. Thanks for the great experience! Btw did i mention the beer is phenomenal? Cheers!
A tiny bar hidden away within storage buildings. I loved their beers. If you love IPA, try their Dark Space DIPA (8.1%): awesome.
Hop Secret stands out among any of the newer breweries in the area. It certainly holds its own with some well received established brewers in wider L.A. Another plus it's a thirty second walk from the Monrovia Goldline station. A perfect start and stop to Pacific Plate and the new Wingwalker breweries via Goldline. All walking distance. Sant?!
Great Beer ?? and great location, just a short walk from the Monrovia Gold line station. My new favorite stop on the Gold line. Strong work Gary!
Awesome place with a great staff. And the beer is delicious. I recommend you check them out
We love bringing our pups here!! Everyone is always so friendly and the beer is amazing. Highly recommended!
Really nice place, very friendly owner, everything looks so clean (including restrooms) and an amazing citrus IPA.
I really like the beer. It's much better than Mt. Lowe or Pacific Plate. Place is a little small, but I am sure it will get bigger with time.
These guys know what they are doing as far as brewing great beers. All very interesting, fresh and delicious! Don't change anything.
Awesome bar tender Drew. Very personable, great service, great conversation, and very good beer!! Drew made our experience so great! Awesome place!!
Delicious beer, great friendly staff, family and dog friendly, cozy
Small place with free popcorn, arcade machines, and board games. The beer being good is an excellent plus.
Clean fermentation, plenty of different styles, very cozy.
Great beer, customer service and atmosphere
Forbidden Barely was delish
Small place with friendly Brewers. Beer is great and I'd definitely recommend.
The customer service was very good! The other customers are also nice. AND most importantly the BEER is great!
The firs pale ale and IPA place that places flavor and complexity above bitterness!!! Amazing!
Love The Hops!!! Keep It A Secret...
Awesome staff and great beer selection, a great recommendation I believe
Amazing beer. Amazing people. Love this place!
What a hidden gem ! Gary is very passionate about his beer. Fantastic!
Best west coast IPAs in the area. That's all I got to say bout that.

Just a great place????
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
