Hooligans arcade is fun for anyone who enjoys arcade style video games. Wristbands for all-day play are $15/person. They have beverages & concessions (hotdogs, nachos, chips, pizza, etc.). They also have a couple of options for adult beverages. The dining area can be rented for private parties as well.

Great place! First time visiting. We drove a few hours to check it out for our twins 16th bday. All of us had a great time. Awesome games too. We'll be back. Highly recommend

Fun arcade just outside of Birmingham, AL. We had a couple of hours to waste so we gave Hooligans a try. We were immediately welcomed when we walked in. The representative gave a good overview of pricing and the all day wristband. Good selection of new and retro arcade games. Nice selection of pinball machines as well. Only reason I am docking one star is because a few of the arcade and pinball machines were not functioning correctly or needed repairs. Regardless, a huge selection of games to pick from.

I can't speak enough praises about this place. Other places it's pay to play, but for just $15 you get free play all day here. They have a bar and snacks on location as well so you have all you need in one spot. The workers are top notch and extremely friendly and helpful. Loved all the artwork on the walls as well! ??

What a fun place! All of the old school games from Ms. PacMan and Galaga to a number of different types of pinball machines. Lots of newer generation video game type arcade games as well-- plus a nice selection of adult beverages and drinks and snacks for the kiddos. All you can play wristband is a great deal- before I knew it I'd spent three hours here!

Always a fun experience for a decent price for unlimited play! Whenever there's birthday parties, it can be a little crowded, but there's enough games to go around. The games range from pinball machines to classic arcade games to modern fighting games and Japanese Rhythm games. There's bound to be something for every taste. Went there several months ago with the wife. We really appreciated an actual arcade being within an hour away. The variety of games and the armband were nice. The only complaint I had is that some of the games - though working - definitely needed some maintenance, like monitors adjusted/replaced, artwork replaced, etc

Think old school arcade but you don't need 100?s of quarters to play all day. Just 15$ you get an armband for the whole day. You can leave and return same day. Snack bar. Adult beverages. Love it. I will return many times.

My son had his 10th Birthday party here!! From the day we booked, they make it very easy and convenient! The guy who is talked to was very friendly! The day of the party e everything was set up and ready for us, all the games worked and our group really enjoyed themselves!! The staff members were super nice and i would definitely recommend having a party or just visiting them!! 2 thumbs up for sure!!????????

IYKYK!! This place is the old school game room of the 80s. We drive 40 minutes multiple times a month to enjoy the nostalgia. They have a crazy selection of the 80s classics and huge pinball collection. Pay one price (not expensive), get wrist band, play all day. Can even leave and go back, as long as same day and have wristband on. Small snack area in back of store. Food is a limited amount of can drinks including some beer options. And a snack machine.

Such a fun place! Pay 1 price and play all you want! I am not someone who likes video games or gaming in general went with family here. We had a lot of fun! I enjoyed the pinball machines. They have snacks and drink as well so you do not even have to go anywhere for those.

It's always a fun place to spend a few hours. My kids love it, and the price is extremely reasonable. I like having a set fee per entrance, and the games are free play.

This arcade is pay $15 for the whole day. There are plenty of old and newer arcade games. They even serve alcohol now. Personally, I would appreciate more modern pinball machines.

I really loved this place. Great idea and so many beloved classic games to play. The only downside was that about half the games we tried to play had a damaged gamepad. If it was a 4 player game, we were usually able to rotate to a working gamepad so both of us could play.

Really cool family place! A wide variety of games to choose from. Vintage to current. Almost all games are in good working order. Great value for the price. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, there was no changing table of any kind in the bathroom. The floor was the only option.

Best arcade in the state hands down! Go to Dave and Busters with $12 and come back after about 5 minutes and tell me how much fun you had. You cant beat the price of $12 for all day entertainment. Best place to go for rhythm games too, all maintained properly!

The whole arcade is a must go! Especially love that they got Tron in their arcade selection. I would like to see them promoting for Tron: Ares when it comes out.

A crazy great find. 12$ for unlimited play in this arcade with classic/modern games. The ONLY imported from japan Teken 7 and Dance Dance revolution machines in the East side of America! They serve alcohol and Light food choices! Birthday parties are able to be booked as well. Bumper nets and Dave & Buster can't even compete with this arcade. Show this place your support! We had the best birthday for my 8 year old! His Friends and their parents all had a blast. The staff was super nice and everything was just awesome!

Awesome family atmosphere that is very easy to get to with adequate parking. Family run and they are awesome. They have hot dogs beer wine nachos with cheese other snacks. You can have children's birthday parties there they provide a lot of the supplies you bring in the food tons of games including pinball air hockey motorcycle and driving games retro arcade. Had my son's twelfth birthday here. The party area was clean and had some awesome artwork. The arcade itself was full of cool older and newer games that were enough to help a dozen pre-teen boys busy for the entire party.

Amazing place lots of different arcade games,air hockey and wind it down with a game of mini golf,definitely worth the $12 we went there with our family and had a blast !!! Talked to the owner,he's on site usually with his wife, great people you won't be disappointed !

Looking for a fun time hooligans arcade is off the hook from classic 1970s to 2000 theres games here worth the fun any age welcomed this place is awesome. Pin ball your thing they got you arcade they got you first person shooterd they got you some are not fat people friendly but it's ok cause the rest are and are extremely fun games.

My family absolutely loves this place. The owners/staff are great. You could easily spend a whole day in there. It's now our go to!

This place is a rare gem that makes your nostalgia real. I feel like the only thing missing is the smell of popcorn to make it feel like my favorite arcade memories.

This place was incredible. A great escape from the heat and literally hours of fun for an affordable price. Even snacks and drinks are priced perfectly. Great place to get your arcade fix in!

Fun place. We played putt putt. It was a small course although it was fun with neon colors and reasonably prices. We did not have time to play the arcade machines but if you have the time it is 1 price for all day. The worker was very nice.

Love this arcade! Got me through some rough times and I came out stronger through DDR. All the arcade games rock so glad theres variation! Marvel V Capcom 1 & 2, Street Fighter, Virtual Fighter, 3rd Strike, Pop?n, and so many other amazing machines I could never get bored! Staff and community is so friendly and I never feel awkward! My family and I went here for the first time last month and this place is AWESOME!! There are so many games to choose from, and they're all in perfect condition! Having just a flat "cover charge" for everyone makes it so affordable to have a great time with your family without having to spend a ton of money or ration tickets or tokens to play games. Hooligan?s Arcade is a nostalgia wormhole. I am an 80s child, so it's no surprise that I'd walk in and drool (Not literally. Gross!) over cabinets housing long-unplayed staples of my youth like Centipede, TRON, Donkey Kong Jr., Frogger, and, of course, Galaga. This place is great! Really good concept in general. Pay an entrance fee, then all the games are free to play. No time limit! Games from Frogger to Guitar Hero to Hunting. Lots of classics mixed with newer stuff. Plenty of solo games and co-op. Place is also clean and well decorated. There is a snack bar in back that also serves drinks. You could spend all day there, and some people do! I've been twice now. And I definitely plan to go back.

Entertainment for the kids, retro games, and a bar!! What else is there to say? The owners have revamped the place and I think it allows for a more pleasurable experience as an adult. As pictured, the hours show that they are open late. This could be a cool date night or just a chill time with friends. I visit Birmingham at least once a month and I always make the time to come here for a while. Great selection of games with stuff you aren't gonna find at just any arcade around here, for a price you really can't beat. I personally come for the great selection of rhythm games, especially WACCA! Plus everything is always clean and the art on the walls is so much fun.

This is a great place to spend some time. The single entry price takes the stress away from managing quarters and allows you to get some great value if you are hardcore. The only downside is that some of the games dont work particularly well.

Awesome place! I had been meaning to come here for a while and kept putting it off, but I must say I am very glad I went today. I was immediately excited by the games I saw and pleasantly surprised to find out that they serve beer there. They also have some superb retro games off to the left and right-hand sides of the room. The people that worked there were friendly and chill which helped me enjoy my experience more. I will definitely be back.

This place is cool. They have lots of old arcade games, pinball machines, an air hockey table and several shooting games. Some games are really dark and just not any good to play, but not many. It's not to often anymore to feel like you get your money's worth on something but for all day fun for $12, I absolutely did! Everyone had a blast and we can't wait to go back! Worth the money and worth the hour drive for how much we all enjoyed it. This place probably just became our go-to for all 4 of my kids birthdays.

Great laid back experience attending a birthday party

Went for my first time with my daughter and had a blast, the nostalgia of the old games and pinball with a lit of great newer games for 1 great price and cheap but delicious snack bar. The beer selection was huge and we will definitely be going back frequently

We had a good time here. Unlimited play on classic arcade games. We played Ms Pac-Man and pinball. Played around a bit on various driving games. Crazy Taxi is just that, crazy. Some machines were out of order and some were in need of maintenance. The artwork/murals are top notch! Must see. They have a bar/concessions that we did not try. Bathrooms are not fancy or immaculate but not bad.

How I haven't written a review here before now is beyond me. Definitely the best arcade in Alabama. Great staff, incredible game lineup, and an unbeatable value. Go check them out!

I've been coming here for years. The atmosphere is so much fun. I've had my son?s birthday party here twice and I couldn't have asked for a better place to have it. The owners are so friendly as well.

We spend our money here regularly to support this small business and spend time with our kids. Games are amazing. Makes me feel like a kid again. The bar is cool. Snacks, drinks, anything you need to spend all day playing your favorite arcade games from the last few decades. We're never disappointed. Table Top Hockey, Tekken, and Terminator are among our favorites. My wife loves Dance Dance Revolution. But there is something for everyone. Pinball machines will blow your mind. They're in such good shape.

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. We came to visit a few weeks ago as a family to check it out. We ended up booking one of our sons birthday parties there and we all, children and adults, had a BLAST. The video games are elite and are blasts from the pasts for us adults and the kids have just as much fun! We plan to visit over and over and absolutely love it here!

I took two teenagers and an under 10. Everyone had a good time and got to experience a retro arcade. If you go to this arcade, you need to go with the expectation that for the most part, it is retro gaming; however, the price of admission is much cheaper than going to D&B. Very few of the games don't work. Some of them do have screens that are too dark or too zoomed in, but even D&B has machines that are not 100% and again you are going to pay at least 100% more at D&B. Came in for the first time today and had a lot of fun. The staff was nice and the prices were not too bad. The mini golf is only 9 holes so you would be better off buying the day pass for a few more dollars and playing several rounds. Most kids and teens should have a lot of fun, but for the younger toddler age there isn't much to do besides the mini golf. We will most definitely be back and as this place continues to grow with more attractions I imagine this will get changed to a 5 star.
