We had a lot of fun in the arcade and took home some candy. Spent a good hour here.
Super cool place! Tons of fun movie props and things to look at outside of the arcade. It's connected to the candy store so you can find something for everyone while you are there! I love that they have candy and food themed socks, much cheaper than socks found at other stores around town.
Aisles upon aisles of candy and amazing statues around every corner, and heaps of pinball machines in the lower sections.
This place is incredibly cool! From an awesome candy shop to a nostalgic old-time diner section, along with numerous collections, it's a haven for exploration. And, of course, there's pinball! A fantastic spot for the whole family. Don't forget to bring your quarters for some pinball fun!
We have been to this location several times but the most recent was a little disappointing. The majority of the machines were out of order and the ones that were supposedly in order often accepted the quarters with no gameplay. It's understandable as they are antique machines, but it was a bit disappointing for my grandkids. Of course, we will return because it is a unique experience.
If you go to Omaha, this place is a must go to. Between all the candy and cool collectors items to look at and buy, there is a bunch of old pinball and arcade games
I love coming here! We make the trip at least 3 times a year. The selection constantly changes, but you'll always find what you're looking for. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Visited on a Friday night close to closing. Was moderately busy with small crowds filtering in and out as they wandered through the connected Hollywood Candy & Antiques complex. The museum is in the back of the building beyond the antiques area and is not to be confused with the other preexisting Hollywood Candy arcade area adjacent to the malt shop. This museum focuses on the older electromechanical reels-and-bells pinball machines from the 1970s and earlier as opposed to the computerized ones more famili
Really awesome nostalgic overload of Candy, Diner, Vinyl and most importantly a massive vintage Pinball Museum! My only complaint is that many of the pinball games were out of service and they don't do a play pass system, it's pay per game. All in all a great place for a vintage throwback or for Pinball Enthusiasts!
Ultimate flash back for candy lovers. They have everything that you forgot you used to eat until you see it on the shelves here. It was funny remembering the stuff you used to eat and play with as a kid.
My family loves pinball, so this was a blast for teens and adults alike! It seemed very kid-friendly, a variety of ages enjoying the arcade. The pinball arcade and museum is directly connected to the giant candy store, cafe, and vinyl shop. This is the largest collection of ancient pinball machines I've ever seen. You can play lots of them for just twenty-five cents. Almost every pinball machine was working great, but we did notice a couple issues and wished there were attendants available we could have not
Wow. this has to be one of my favorite spots to visit. It was like a trip through a time machine. Was it a candy store, a soda shop, an arcade, a thrift shop, a maze, a museum? I guess all of the above. I liked the room filled with old school electro mechanical pinballs. Some of them needed some TLC but it was still a great time. Definately glad I went. Only wish I had my son with me as kids would love this place.
Took friends from Saint Louis there and they were really impressed with all of the candies from our childhood. The pinball machines need a little work as they're getting a little slow but was still fun
So much memorabilia that it's overwhelming. But so very cool!!!
My 20 something-year-old daughter and I had a great time playing pinball and arcade games and looking at all the cool memorabilia. For this baby boomer it was quite a trip down memory lane!
Cute arcade of vintage pinball machines in excellent shape, located within Hollywood Candy, which is quite the experience.
My son loved the pinball machines and the variety of items they sell.
Been years since I played pinball. Large selection of older 1950's machines, I prefer the 70's of which they had a couple. I had a great time playing them as well as looking at other items in this museum and candy shop.
Pretty cool games here. Good place to kill a little bit of time
Disappointed as I was looking forward to playing the old retro pinball machines from my past. I made sure I had a pocket full of quarters as I headed into the arcade. Of the 35-40 machines only 1/4th of them took quarters, some took your money and ate them, others turned on and worked. These machines are very old and need a lot of maintenance. If you're going to advertise about working vintage machines then they should at least work. A few that did startup the bumpers were weak or a flipper was broke. A d
Very cool place. So much to see. Lots of vintage pinball machines. A very large area to explore. The whole family enjoyed it.
A unique experience escribe should check out!
Wow, never seen so many working wooden pinball machines that you could play.!!!
The arcade is closed due to covid visited May 17, 21 but a lot of really cool stuff to look at, was here for an hour just looking around.
The machines were working. I was skeptical after seeing other reviews. The majority of the machines were on and played great. Will be back again
The 1960s and 1970s childhood pre digital age is here
I love this place every time I come here!
This is a great and unique attraction. Candy store full of nostalgic and wonderful candies and baked goods. You will find your childhood favorites. Plus records. Collectibles. A movie theater. A working diner and ice cream shoppe. Home made fudge. Room after toom if antiques. Movie and Elvis items. Local nostalgia. Fun fun fun.
We had a lot of fun looking at all of the older games. Unfortunately the old pin ball machines were down, but we had a lot of fun on the newer games!
It is a great shop! So much candy! Pretty expensive but most of it is candy you can't really get in any store so we get it. It kinda made me feel clostrifobic with how much is in there. We spent about $55 of a small bag of candy but we are excited to try new things. Glad we went.
I was in town for business and stumbled across this place this afternoon. Lots of stuff going on here but the highlight for me was a 20 plus pinball machines mostly EM?s but plenty of solid state machines too. I was more than happy to drop a few quarters in the pins to support the business plenty of vinyl records and candy for sale Worth stopping in I'll return on my next trip to Omaha
Amazing place!! Great attractions great selections of candy of all kinds!! Come visit!!
Super cool. Novelty candies. The vintage pinball machines are really cool. Bring some quarters and try them out
We love all the games! My niece who's 6 couldn't understand the 3 ball concept, so I'm sure some got to play for free that day. She had a blast, especially with the 60s ones!
One of the coolest spot in downtown Omaha to visit. Loads of excitement around every inch of that place.
Half of the machines don't work, and no attendants to give you your money back.
Very disappointed. Lots of amazing retro machines, but you never know if they are gonna be functional or not. I purchased $10 dollars in tokens with my family and we lost more money to broken games than ones where we actually got to play. This place has lots of potential, but until something changes you're better off just looking at the old machines than trying to play.
Great nostalgic fun, but most the machines don't work or steal your quarters. Had to keep asking for refunds.
Very cool to see and play some old machines.
Best Candy Store Ever!
I can't say enough about how awesome this place is.
Took my kids and they had so much fun seeing all the candy and playing arcade games
All of different types of arcade games
This was a super awesome place filled with great pinball machines and countless other attractions. If you love vintage, retro, and pinball this is the place for you. Dont miss it while in Omaha.
Had such a blast seeing all the nastolgic stuff really takes you back and makes you remember how good your childhood was!
Old school pinball. Candy variety is good.
I love this place. Tons of nostalgia and even more candy and fun items
This is a place you and your family can go to often and ALWAYS will find the best candy and retro fun!
Kids and I stumbled across this while goofing off downtown, we had a blast. There is so much cool stuff, vintage candy, and memorabilia.
Love stopping here. So fun to walk around & play pinball. Have some good chocolates & candy.
This place was super fun. Has a nice assortment of vintage pinball machines
Has a wide selection of candy, as well as having a small theater room as well as a classic arcade games room
Older arcade games and pinball machines great to relive memories of the past when you grew up
TOTAL BUST in terms of arcade machines. Most of them were roped off & the few that were accessible required tokens & that machine was out of order. NOT CONSIDERING a return trip the next time I get in town.
Lots of old pinball machines.
You can forget Disneyland this is the happiest place on earth!!!! Best arcade establishment I ever experienced
Ms Pacman plus vintage pinball machines make this the best place.
Great experience!!! Highly recommend this place.
Inside Hollywood Candy. Definitely one of the many cool/quirky areas in the building.
Awesome time! Free jukebox in the back with tons of tunes and every machine is $0.50 per play!
Cool stuff from wall to wall
It just ok. More of a candy store then arcade.
I'm extremely happy we checked it out. It was a lot of fun.
Fun place, lots of sweet desserts.
Was in the middle of the store
Fantastic place.. enjoyed looking around
Wow! A hidden gem. I did not expect this.
Most of the machines were shut off
Always a nice place to go
The whole experience was wonderful.
Pinball heaven and only $0.25 to play!
Disappointing. Most of the pinball and arcade machines were inop.
Plenty to choose from.
Cool place to visit!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
